You can be seen this summer in the new series of Good Omens alongside David Tennant and Michael Sheen - who do you play in the show and what appealed to you about the role?
I play Elspeth  - a grave digger living on the streets in Victorian Edinburgh who digs up bodies for a local doctor to earn extra money. The role was so far from anything I’d played before! The show is wonderful and weird and funny so that’s what appealed to me most. And Douglas McKinnon who directed it was brilliant, he knows that universe inside out and has such a clear vision so working with him was fascinating.
What was your experience like working with two titans of the industry such as David Tennant and Michael Sheen?
I was terrified! But they were both so lovely and it was amazing to watch them work. And they’re so funny in the show, there were a few takes where I completely lost it and couldn’t stop laughing.

Warning for new TWST fans about a possibly dangerous person that's rejoined the fandom
A specific user has decided to crawl back out of the sewer and rejoin the fandom. Of course, everyone is free to follow and interact with whoever they'd like, but as a warning please be weary of @octavinelle-mafia (and her main bittersweet-faerietales). I'd personally suggest just blocking and being done with it as she's got a WELL DOCUMENTED history of manipulation, predatory behavior, guilt tripping, exposing IRL minors to NSFW scenarios/headcanons/edits, etc, harassing and bullying people with similar traits to her OC (like similar socks or hairstyles), and tracking who visits her blog and follows/unfollows. The list is quite literally endless, if you want more info feel free to check my tag "gravedigging" and there's hundreds of posts that cover it. This all originally happened in autumn 2020 so it's been a hot minute, but from what I dug up, twst is the third fandom that this sort of behavior has been present in since at LEAST 2015.
I forgot I made a completely separate blog for updates too @gravediggers-archive

The process of his dying has killed us all a little bit. It's as if, instead of going to work every day, he's had to dig his own grave out back, in the lot behind the pool. And dig it not all at once, but an inch or two at a time.

Ieva Dapkevicius - Gravedigging
In the brackish light, pale mushrooms crowning from the dirt like molars in a row:
I whisper a rabbit’s prayer and draw the black fur of my shadow closer to my neck. When my lips part, they crack as tree bark, and from them, an inky sap trickles down, marks my skin.
God of stains, abandon me now.
The unmarked cot hollowed out amid these roots: mine or yours, or am I only a living ghost of you?
Bloodless hands, bruise-mottled and blue; a tremor in my voice betrays me. The god listens, does not speak. Omnivorous beast, the earth, too, has its teeth to swallow with.
Oakmoss, heart-rot, blackthorn smoke and bitter ash— I know it all too well, how the hosts of the dead bloom as inkcaps fed on petrichor after a dry spell.

Abigail Lawrie interview with David Craig for Radio Times, 23.05.2023
Good Omens season 2 star Abigail Lawrie has revealed more about her experience working on the hit Neil Gaiman drama, adding to the already feverish anticipation for the upcoming episodes.
The show features David Tennant's demonic Crowley and Michael Sheen's angelic Aziraphale, an odd couple brought together by their mutual ambition to prevent armageddon.
Based on the novel by Gaiman and the late Terry Pratchett, the series was a runaway hit, with fans demanding it continue – a campaign that Prime Video eventually conceded to.
Lawrie will make her Good Omens debut in the second season, reportedly playing a Victorian gravedigger named Elspeth, and told RadioTimes.com she "absolutely loved" the job.
"It was such a mad, amazing experience," said Lawrie. "We shot it in Scotland and I got to work with Michael Sheen and David Tennant, obviously, who were just amazing and so lovely and so funny. A lot of the stuff that I did was funny."
She continued: "And Douglas [Mackinnon], who directs it... is just the most intelligent, fascinating man and he knows that universe so well, inside out. And so it was just amazing to work with him."
The actor currently stars in Paramount Plus tropical thriller No Escape, where she plays Lana, a young woman on the run halfway across the world with her best friend, Kitty (The Outlaws' Rhianne Barreto).
Lawrie added: "And the costumes were incredible. The sets were just vast and amazing. It was really like being immersed in a completely different universe. It was really cool."
Her involvement in Good Omens season 2 was confirmed by Gaiman himself on Twitter, in a post congratulating her for winning at the BAFTA Scotland 2021 ceremony for her role in Sky's Tin Star: Liverpool.
Alongside Tennant and Sheen, Good Omens season 2 also sees the return of Jon Hamm, Maggie Service, Nina Sosanya and Liz Carr among others, whilst Peter Davison, Andi Osho and Ty Tennant are just some of the new additions.
Abigail Lawrie plays a gravedigger Elspeth! :) ❤

Excuse me,I hope this isn't too sudden, but I was wondering if you could tell me what exactly happened with the user @octavinelle-mafia? I'm new in the TWST fandom and have stumbled upon a few old post discussing it and want to know what really went down? I feel uncertain just relaying on posts that have only one or two points and going through your gravedigging tag has left quite exhausted. So,if it's not too much to ask, could you tell me?
Thank you!
A shortened summary!
1. I was a dick to her in DMs cause she accused a friend of copying her oc lore. Got blocked (rightfully so).
2. 2+ weeks later she publicly posted my DMs, with username attached with a guilt trip of sorts (can't really remember the details tbh)
3. All hell breaks loose because suddenly i had dozens of people in my DMs and hundreds of anon messages saying "thanks! / She did X to me/ here's same thing from another fandom/ here's this other thing/ she's been bullying me too" (most of which are somewhere in the tag).
4. Instead of running away, which i suspected was what the hope was by posting my username, i started publishing and commenting on the various things (guilt tripping, exposing irl minors to nsfw, taking advantage of people for free art/money/etc, copyright, putting nsfw on main etc etc etc).
5. I did a bunch of research and posted a bunch of essays about why TOPIC (pick one) was fucked up.
6. It took like 3 months and by the end of it she disappeared and I'm still here being salty about bad fish takes and posting Naruto memes
7. She's back now, but at least instead of being weird and creepy with minors has "minors dni" in her bio, which i guess counts as a step forward.
For like, in depth you'll have to go through the tags cause it's been like...a year and a half now and the specifics are all fuzzy outside the big essays (grooming/copyright/NSFW issues). So uhhh, cheers i guess
