I’m low key proud of this
[ID: A meme using the “demotivational poster” format. The image is of Pierre from Great Comet, photoshopped to be in a Costco. The main caption is “Oh, Pierre” and the subcaption is “Just one of a hundred sad old men living out their final days in Costco”. End ID.] - @/field-s-of-flowers

This is oddly specific but there should be animatics with Wally Darling and Neighbor acting act the events in the Great Comet of 1812.
More specifically the song The Ball where Natalie is uncomfortable, Neighbor, and Anatole, Wally, is doing all these weird obsessive acts and saying he’s in love with Natalie, Neighbor.
Also it would just be neat to see the cast wearing clothes that fit the time periods but are tailored to their personalities.

Are we not gonna talk about how the costume design for the Broadway debut of The Great Comet in 2016 was heavily inspired by the aesthetic from Goncharov (1973) - particularly the character Anatole's first costume, which is just a period rendition of Goncharov's iconic suit?
I just think it's cool how there's an homage to Tolstoy's novel in the film (don't tell me you missed that line, it's a classic and it's verbatim!), and then Great Comet, the musical based on the novel, referenced the visual aesthetic of the film even though it doesn't include the line.
