Hi everyone! I’m really really panicking right now. The court date for me to get evicted is on the 21st of March.
I am disabled and I have no money right now. I can barely afford food and I really need help. I don’t know what else to do and I’m scared. Please, I really need help.

(if the full rent is $2000/month but you split that with a roommate, vote $1000. This is just about what you pay)

We need serious help. A friend was able to cover our electric bill and the remaining storage unit, but she can't cover our rent, and all our SSI/SSDI will go towards more loan payments next month. I now need to come up with an additional $1720 for my rent next month by the 5th and other assorted charges we need to pay. I can't be homeless again. Please help?
I need $217 for the electric bill, my mother still needs $474 to pay off a loan by the 29th as well, and I need $150 to cover a debt. Please help?
For those not aware, we currently do not have a working car, my mother was recently hospitalized for a week and still has lingering health issues, my daughter is about to start HRT and I got second-degree burns on my neck and chest over a week ago that needs to heal. We can't be homeless again. It would literally kill us.
$2062/$2750

URGENT EVICTION HELP
Hi everyone! I’m really really panicking right now. The court date for me to get evicted is on the 20th of February. I don’t have anywhere to go if I get evicted. I don’t even have a vehicle and I I would have to surrender my ESA, my cat Mittens. I’d be on the streets and it’s winter in Michigan.
I am disabled and I have no money right now. I can barely afford food and I really need help. I don’t know what else to do and I’m scared. Please, I really need help.

ok.. I caved I didnt want to but ive been so broken by this year i did it.
i hate ever asking but im in a bind. i dont want donations or money if ur unable, we all have our struggles. but helping spread mutual aid for someone chronically ill and disabled would genuinely mean the world ;^; im struggling with a lot in my body, i have precancer so recovery can take longer than usual. (if needed i can show proof) and with the collapsed lung its been hell

If you are of a certain age -- if you were of a certain age in the late 1990s -- there is honestly nothing quite like the hold that "Rent" has over a certain segment of the musical-loving population. Like, if you encounter "Rent" for the first time as a jaded adult who's already grown up and gotten a job, then "Rent" is whatever. But if you encounter "Rent" for the first time as a teenager, it sinks its teeth into you and you spend your entire life with this helpless reaction to just the mention of it, like, for all its flaws, it's Rent. It was this revolutionary burst of musical theater from someone who never got the chance to say anything else to the world, but what he left us with was this, and those first few notes of "One Song Glory," and the round-robin of "Will I?," and the joy of "La Vie Boheme," and that reprise of "I'll Cover You" that tears your heart out, and THAT NOTE in "Seasons of Love," like, omg, tear my heart out every time this musical, I can't with any of it. Every time I listen I hope there's a heaven entirely because I hope Jonathan Larsen knows somewhere what he did.
Is it like this for all new generations? Like, do the youths of today hear "Rent" for the first time and it knocks them over the head and never lets them go? I feel like probably not. I feel like this is probably how they feel about "Hamilton" (which, to be clear, I also love "Hamilton," but it doesn't make me feel like this). I suspect it's just a phenomenon particular to coming of age in the late 90s when "Rent" just crashed into all of us and we've just never recovered. Or at least I haven't. I have no idea. All I know is yes, they should all get jobs in "Rent," but I don't care, my love for this musical is pure and true, every time I hear it I am 16 again with the top of my head being taken off and I weep copious tears lol

You know how bullshit rent is? Elon Musk hasn't paid rent on Twitter's main offices in, like, 6 months, and has Twitter been evicted? Of course not. Apparently, when you're rich or a company, you can just tell your landlords to fuck off and the gov won't do shit to you.
