Yesterday delighted me. When I was conscious but still in that dream space, a thought came to me; and I’m not sure if it was a fear of mine, a premonition, or just a thought in the collective unconscious IDK but it stayed in my mind and I was weighing out all the possibilities of what would happen if I kept this information to myself or shared it with my family, and I ended up texting my mom separately first, and then my siblings group message after; “Had a dream griffin got married without us and posted it on Instagram.” (Griffin is my brother, the eldest sibling, who is engaged.)

It’s always so nice to communicate with my siblings. It doesn't matter if we are ripping each other's head off - I feel a deep sense of purpose whenever we interact with one another. They are the only people who have the same DNA as me, and when I look in their eyes I feel like I am looking at myself from a different perspective. It’s beautiful. 

Our text exchange was passion fueled and needed in our growth as a family unit. I was glad I trusted my intuition and sent the message. 

I’m also glad I started watching Jersey Shore again. I love this show and would love to talk shore lore with anyone at any time, just hit me up, plz. Watching the first episode is watching a significant time in these people's lives. Watching the show in general is significant to me because it brings nostalgia to my soul. I love being able to witness this family, and feel a part of it in some way. Get crazy, get loud, let’s party, get loud, if you wanna have fun and do something craaazy…

Microsoft’s Phone Link for iOS: A Seamless Connection Between Windows 11 and iPhone

Microsoft's recent “Moments 2” feature drop for Windows 11 came with a slew of updates, including Phone Link for iOS. However, the update was only available to Windows Insiders. In its latest blog post, Microsoft announced that Phone Link for iOS is now globally available to all Windows 11 users in 39 languages. This is huge in terms of cross-platform connectivity, as iPhone users can now create a seamless connection to their Windows PC using a dedicated Microsoft app.

Phone Link for iOS: A Practical and Welcoming Addition

The Phone Link for iOS app supports iMessage on Windows 11, making it more practical and welcoming for iPhone users. Previously, Phone Link was only available for Android devices. However, every iPhone user can now use the app to receive calls, notifications, and texts on their Windows 11 PC, even if their iPhone is not within reach. With Microsoft's iCloud integration, iPhone contacts can be synced with a Windows PC, and the Windows Photos app can be used to access iCloud images.

A Few Caveats to Consider

While Phone Link for iOS promises a seamless connection between Windows 11 and iPhone, there are a few caveats to consider. For instance, the app does not support sharing photos and videos, and group messaging is not supported either. Additionally, history sync might be a problem for some users.

Exciting Updates to Look Forward To

Microsoft has promised to deliver a "rich experience" with new features added frequently in the future. As such, we can't wait to get a hands-on experience with Phone Link for iOS. Since 2016 I’ve been working with Namu Label on a project called The Sound of Walking. The varied project is part cultural exchange, documentary, ethnomusicology, and musical composition. The team has ventured out to northwestern China on several occasions to document and collect the minority voices and natural sounds of such places as Qinghai and Gansu Province. My role as producer and live musician with members of the team has been introspective and enlightening; an educational process where I’ve had opportunities to work with people from all over this vast land. One moving part of the whole project has been a compilation of artists who used to collected audio material to produce original works. I was lucky enough to join in and contribute two tracks ‘Intro’ and ‘Outro’ to this comp. These two pieces open and close the various artist collection with sounds ranging from sanxian and bowed zithers, to atmospheric soundscapes and staccato’d rhythms. Please enjoy it in its entirety!

Dahil malapit na ang valentines day. Kwentuhan muna tayo💜 Paano nga ba naging kami? Paano nga ba lahat nagsimula? So,This is how our story started..... We've became bestfriends through texting in year 2013. Maybe some millenials know naman yung clan/groupmessage/plug of numbers in short exchanging numbers nalang hehe.☺️ Ayun so nag start na nga ang story namin dyan ex sya ng girl bestfriend ko nung high school then after nun umamin sya ng feelings sakin and shock ako syempre haha bakit nagkagusto sakin. Dahil tingin ko sa kanya is Kuya/Tatay/Bestfriend and out of nowhere nung nanligaw na sya at nabasted ko nalayo loob nya sakin. So on and off talaga chat and messages namin niyan dahil lumayo loob nya and nahurt ko sya. Sad but totoo... Umabot ng taon ang unstabled communication namin, Mga year 2015-2017 Wala kaming communication on and off then biglang naisipan niya na ichat ako at kumustahin nung March 2017. Siya yung nag first move mangumusta ulit. Then, ayun nagkakaumustahan at nagsorry sa isat isa sa nangyaring gap dahil nga bestfriends kami at nag kaganun. Then one time heart broken si koya mo sa kanyang ex na iniyakan nya at ayun nagpuyatan kami usap usap sa text at tawag parang tanga pa ako nun na nagtatago sa kumot dahil dis oras ng gabi naguusap sa phone at baka mabulabog ibang tao sa ingay. Pinaguusapan lang namin eh ang pagjojogging ng 4 am ng puyat at walang tulog hahaha. So ang nangyari eh naglakad nalang kami dahil sa lagay namin na walang tulog... More kwentuhan lang naman. The next day nagkaroon ng problema sa amin. Family matter, siya ang tumulong at unang unang pumunta sakin after kong humingi ng tulong sa ibang tao. Nagstay ako sa kanila.. Inalagaan ako na para bang tatay ko at kuya ko. Syempre alagang bestfriend.
