Just finished my exams TODAY (at the time I'm making this post) and I'm READY to MAKE THIS. It's a bit short as I am Exhausted and don't want to make a too long part

“And why’s tha’?”

“it’ll do you some good changing your last name. If anyone asks why you took mine, just say you married a feminist” you sip your drink.

"what's wrong with Mactavish?" he whines through his chuckle

“You’re a war criminal Johnny.” You casually mention, as if Soap ever wanted you to know that.

Jazz Music Stops

He didn’t.

Now:

“…what are ye talking about?” He says, tone more serious but you didn’t catch that, thinking that the tone change was because of how stuffed he was.

“Embassy gas attack, secret ops, the 141, ‘collateral damages ’” you respond as if it’s no big deal

Silence.

You look up from your phone “what?” His face was serious, eyes talking business, no, eyes talking soldier. You’ve never seen that look.

“…how’d ye know about tha’?”

A small pit forms in your stomach, did you do something wrong? You thought those were normal pieces of information.....right?

“I…did a bit of research”

“What kind o’ research”

“Jus….basic research….”

“Lass, what do ye mean?” Why was he so serious?

“You know…bit of googling. Some public records, some declassified records….some leaked records….” You explain calmly thinking that that would answer his question but he stares at you, silently. It’s uncharacteristic and unnerving. Are you in trouble? you keep talking to fill the silence “Some dramatized blogs, a sketchy site or two, conspiracy forums that named you…”

Silence

.

“Some guy sold me info for cheap.”

His eyes widened “Who?”

“Jus’ some guy I found online…said he used to be a shadow….didn’t know what that meant.”

His fist clenches at the mention of shadows and the pit in your stomach felt like pure lead. What’s…gotten into him?

“Bonny. Why’d you look into that?”

“I….was I not supposed to?”

“Answer the question”

“I was looking for information about you” you confess “I was worried”

He sighs, seeming to be conflicted about this. He’s both happy that you worry but upset that your looked into this. he never wanted you to see this part of him. He wanted to keep this life a secret. He wanted to come back from deployment to a domestic scene. To pretend that he was the hero they made him out to be, to see you be lazy in pjs and soft to him.

“Bonny” he rubs his face, the pain from the injury making itself known again.

“Ye…..ye Dianne…..” he sighs. You did it because you were worried.

“I dinnae want ye tae see this….side o’ me…”

“Is it because you’re a war criminal?” You weren’t sure about that part considering how unreliable the information seemed but were gauging his reaction for the truth.. He sighs again

“How much do ye Ken?”

“…..not much…”

“Tell me what What do ye know *now* and who is that guy?”

You stutter, feeling upset and very very vulnerable

“Some…vague articles talked about an international task force, a sketchy forum from some third-party account spouted nonsense. There was some…people talking about it. A lot of it was nonsense.”

“And the shadow?”

“The guy? Said he used to work in Black Ops. Didn’t seem very hesitant to sell me Intel and I didn’t think it was very reliable”

“How could ye afford that?”

“He sold it cheap. His claims were ridiculous too. Said his boss faked his death and knew of a Scotsman with a Mohawk. Last he knew that Scot was alive.”

Tch, shadows, always caring more about money than honor and loyalty so it stacks. He seemed….tense. Thinking hard and trying to make sense of it all. This is not what he wanted to come home to.

“This isn’t safe, I need ye to show me exactly what you’ve seen and what you know.” He’s firm and talking to you in this….tone. You had a feeling this was the ‘Sergeant Soap’ tone and you were in big trouble.

“Isn’t…safe?”

“Yes! Isn’t safe!” he says through clenched teeth, body coiled “You dinnae have any idea o’ things like this. Ye don’t know what yer doing or talking about. You could be targeted just fer seeing’ the wrong thing. And it’ll be on my mind. Because otherwise, ye wouldy have ever looked around where a civi shouldn’t see. And know ye seen too much and-“

“Hey, hey, Johnny….I’m fine…” you say, self assured, but in reality you were shaking. You’re so nervous at this. Watching him rub his face like this with a guilty and calculating look on his face made you sick. “You don’t understand any of this Bonny, and I never wanted ye to.” You reach out to place your hand on his clenched fist, but he gets up abruptly from the chair, he seemed so angry.

“I’m sorry Johnny! I just wanted to see, I needed to know if you were alive and what happened!” He goes up to you and snatches up your phone, going though your history

“I-I used my computer to actually. H-Hey!” He walks away fast to go snoop. You get up to catch up to him. He’s not calm but he is collected. Acting like the solider he was trained to be. He opens your laptop and impatiently turns it on.

“Johnny” you try to touch his shoulder but he just yanks your hand to the fingerprint scanner. “I just needed to know you were okay! You never went away for that long and you never-“

“Where did you go?” He orders and you point to it because you’re unsure if you could talk straight.

“U-uh it’s this o-“ He opens it up and searches through both your phone and computer at the same time, muttering about ‘bloody Shadows’, some self deprecating words like “what kind of man can’t keep his loves safe?” and about the dangers that could be involved. You defend “I had no idea-“

“O’ course ye didn’t lass! O’ course not! And I never wanted ya to! I wanted ya tae stay away from Sergeant Soap and just be my soft wee lass for me to come home to. Someone who’ll never be in this world and die violently because of one wrong move.”

“I-“ you try to get a word in

“Now show me where you met that shadow. Tell me everything. now”

After the doctor finished cleaning the wound, he gave the young woman a painkiller injection into her arm and y/n thanked him. It bothered her that people around him were looking at her. She was also very tired because she had been on the run for a while and she was injured.

Koo handed the package that Kaito and Kizzy gave him to the young woman and smiled.

“If you are uncomfortable with the blood and want to change your clothes, they brought clean clothes for you, y/n-san.”

While Y/n was looking at the man who handed her the package in surprise, Murayama came to them excitedly.

“We bought you food too, y/n-chan! You must be hungry.”

Y/n frowned at the young man's cheerful voice.

“Y/n-chan? I am older than you."

Cobra called from the other corner of the room as Murayama grinned and shook his head.

“I don't think it matters to him, y/n-san.”

When the blonde man rolled his eyes and spoke, Murayama stepped next to him to annoy him even more. Y/n smiled and took out the burger from the package and took a bite.

Since she had been hiding for a while, she realized how much she missed eating something delicious.

While the young woman was eating, Hyuga was watching her. Despite her messy hair, bloody clothes and scarred face, he thought the young woman was quite beautiful. Also, her rebellious side attracted her more to him.

The Amamiya Brothers came to the woman who was eating to talk. Y/n knew the two of them, so she put the half burger in her hand back into the package, anticipating what they would ask the moment she saw them. And she smiled at them.

“I know what you're going to ask, but I don't have the answer. I'm sorry.”

Hyuga was as surprised as the brothers. Y/n smiled and shook her head.

“You're going to ask about your big brother, right? I know him, but I don't know where he is."

When Hiroto excitedly took a step towards the young woman, Masaki pulled him back. He knew that the young woman still did not trust them and might be afraid.

“Can you tell us everything from the beginning?”

At Masaki's warm tone, y/n took on a serious expression again.

“I think you know I'm a former cop.”

When everyone in the room nodded, y/n continued.

“My family was killed when I was very young. So I became a cop to find their killer. But years later, I realized that the real killers of my family were Kuryu and that powerful people in the government were protecting them.”

Hyuga continued to listen intently as the young woman's eyes sparkled with hatred.

“It was a moment when I really thought it was over. I didn't know what to do, but a man appeared before me when I least expected it and changed my life.”

“Aniki?” y/n nodded when Hiroto whispered.

“Takeru-san… He gave me many documents from which I could learn all the facts. But unfortunately, I was dismissed and fired before I could disclose these documents. And they didn't even give me any reason. Is not it funny ?"

When the young woman gave a sarcastic laugh, no one in the room laughed. Y/n was tired, the painkillers were making her sleepy.

“They knew I had the documents. One night, while returning home, I realized that I was being followed. Even though I ran away for a while, they eventually shot me. “

When the young woman felt her wound sting, she looked at her arm and continued.

“I was tired from running away for a long time, and I fell to the ground in pain. They left me there to die.”

Hiroto asked in surprise. "And when they realize you're not dead?"

“I had to remove the bullet myself. I couldn't go to the hospital. But when I entered the nameless city to hide, I was seen and it turned out that I was not dead. I knew they were after me again, so I got scared when I realized you were looking for me."

Masaki nodded his head. Hiroto could sense that the young woman was telling the truth.

“Takeru-san helped me learn the facts. He helped me, he saved me and encouraged me. But unfortunately I never saw him again after I was shot. I am sorry ."

The Amamiya brothers remained silent. Even though they wanted to hear more from the young woman, Hyuga could see that she was injured and tired. That's why he said they could talk later and that she needed to rest.

Y/n leaned back on the couch and took a deep breath. She listened to three men arguing for a while. Then, when the two brothers left the room, he looked at the man whose nose she had been about to break hours ago. He looked calm but worried. But she was too tired to think about these things.

Her eyes were slowly closing. A few seconds after her eyes were completely closed, she felt a weight on her. She was startled but could not open her eyes.

It wasn't hard to understand that it was Hyuga who was covering her with his jacket, but what was surprising was his soft voice.

“You should rest, relax a little. I'm here, no one can take you while I'm here."

Part1

Tsukasa thought things had improved since that day. He felt like things had changed, that y/n was feeling better. The hard days were still going on, but he wanted to leave hell behind.

After getting the necessary ingredients at the market, he was choosing the snacks the young girl liked. There was a feeling inside him that he couldn't understand today, so he wanted to return home as soon as possible.

Y/n was setting the table for dinner. After placing the cups in her hand on the table, she took the plates she placed on the counter. While taking the plates, she did not notice the bottle next to her and when her elbow hit the bottle, the bottle fell to the ground.

The young girl sighed deeply, put the plates in her hands on the counter and looked at the broken glass pieces. She bent down to the ground and started picking up the large pieces.

She was careful when throwing large pieces into the trash can, but when a piece of glass cut her hand, she dropped it with pain. She looked at the blood flowing from her finger.

She thought she was better for a long time. Tsukasa was always there for her, they wanted to get back to their lives. But she felt like that fight had taken not only her voice but everything.

When she looked at the blood flowing on her hand, she felt her heart racing. She remembered the broken glass bottle stuck in her neck. She felt the scar on her neck hurt once again.

She put her hand on her chest, ignoring the blood on her hand. She wanted it to calm down. But it continued to beat very fast.

After a while, she felt that she was having difficulty breathing. With help from the fridge, She slowly sank to the floor and sat down. She pulled her knees up and took deep breaths.

She felt like all her struggle had been in vain. The scene that came before her eyes did not go away. She was collapsing to the ground in pain, while Tsukasa and his friends were looking at her in fear.

As her eyes slowly filled with tears, she began to hit her chest with her hand. Fear took over her entire body.

Tsukasa, unaware of everything, opened the outer door with his key and called inside.

“Baby, I'm back.”

He wasn't expecting an answer, of course, but he certainly wasn't expecting to hear loud breathing sounds either. He put the things in his hands aside, closed the door and quickly entered inside. He ran into the kitchen, where the lights were on, and when he saw his girlfriend on the floor with her knees pulled up to her stomach, he thought he was going to lose his mind.

“Y/n!”

He cried out and crouched down next to the young girl.

"What happened ? Are you okay ?"

Y/n felt like she could breathe again when she slowly looked up and saw her boyfriend. Tsukasa hugged her tightly as tears continued to flow from her eyes.

“It's over, I'm here. I'm with you. It's all over, it's okay."

The young girl could feel her heartbeat slowing down as she inhaled the scent of her lover hugging her. Tsukasa looked around. When he saw the broken glass pieces on the ground, he quickly examined the young girl.

Her hand was bleeding. It didn't look like a deep cut. Although he thought she was harming herself at first, he immediately gave up this idea.

He gently caressed the young girl's cheek and kissed her face.
