Hi! You can call me Admin or Ghost, it/they pronouns. I want to talk about intersex advocacy and representation and hopefully combat misinformation and disinformation within the queer community. The annual fandom gingerbread cookies are... only two fandoms this year. 😅 I've been having a rough final quarter of the year, and so the cookies @sketch-wolf and I made ended up being from just our two biggest interests for these past months.

A bit of a break from what I normally post on this account, but this is important enough to me to derail for one post.

On June 7th, the HK Speedrunning community will be running a day-long marathon raising money for the ACLU in conjunction with HKC’s Annual Happy Couple Fundraiser! The event is themed around categories that save grubs, so if you like grubbies (and want to support a LGBTQ charity during pride month!) I recommend checking it out! Super excited to be doing this event again. :3

You can come watch and support the marathon on the speedrunning community's Twitch Channel, beginning at 2pm UTC/10am EDT on June 7th! It's gonna be a ton of fun. Grubs for trans rights!!!!!!!!

Not my usual post but I've been playing Godmaster mode lately and Vengefly King's Radiant fight had me tweeaaaaking

It shouldn't have been this tough, but after making a Desolate Dive build (that includes soul-focused charms + weaversong/grubsong to get extra soul) I finally cleared it <3

I'll be hearing those damn vengefly shrieks in my dreams lmao

Hm... well, to access Radiance, you need the voidheart charm, but to get that you need the kingsoul charm, which is divided into two halves. One is Queen's Garden, guarded by the Traitor Lord, and the other is in the White Palace (path of pain is an entirely optional part of White Palace, and the only reward is lore). Then you take kingsoul down to the abyss and a new area will open up, where you can dreamnail an egg, watch/play an incredibly interesting cutscene type thing, and them obtain voidheart, which opens up two new endings: Sealed Siblings (same as the base ending but Hornet is there too (she gets out for Silksong somehow, though, so that's either good or extremely worrying)) and Dream No More (defeat the Radiance)

You could also do all five pantheons in Godhome, fight every boss back to back (including buffed versions), and then face an even worse version of Radiance called the Absolute Radiance and get two more endings (depending on if you took a delicate flower to Godseeker), but I don't think you'll be doing that

Ok when you say "i don't even know how" is that a literal "don't know how to access the radiance fight"/"cannot beat thk consistently" or a metaphorical "dies instantly"? (I'm not reblogging the post because it's absurdly long by now)

In past games, I’ve defeated the hollow knight but never completed the coliseum or fully upgraded the nail (see: coliseum), i was able to reach that one thing that lets you redo bosses in the dream world or something and suspect radiance is related to that somehow? I think? I also dont know how to get to path of pain and am not sure i want to ? 🤣🤣🤣

Honestly i kinda suck at hollow knight, its so freaking difficult. Its still super fun somehow though, so i ought to play again soonish

i know i already have a bunch of series so far, but this one's a good one to quickly whip together when the ferretbrain or life kicks me in the teeth. little vessels! back in july, i sketched forty-three vessels based off almost every charm and most items in hollow knight, so here are the results of listening to a lot of long and boring lectures XD

I got mark of pride, gathering swarm, wayward compass, and grubsong
