Nightsilver Harry Potter AU in Quidditch 🩶💙🪄

Peter is the Chaser and Kurt is the Seeker.

Peter is not only fast, but his magic casting speed is also very fast. The speed and movement at which you cast the spell will be almost invisible to the eye.

Kurt is a genius at teleportation magic. He also know how to use some degree of mental magic. (I know that Kurt's teleportation BAMF ability also requires calculating the volume of space, empty space, and the position of objects. That will require some degree of mind control.)

Although Peter is a Slytherin, he almost resides in the Gryffindor building. he have to be flirt with Kurt. 🤭

When I saw pikmi's Harry Potter AU drawing, I remembered this again..

Ha… I should draw Harry Potter nightsilver one day… (I've been thinking about this for almost 2334223123254 years.)

Again, I'm hitting my head(positive) with Evan Peters' character interpretation. Peter may look like Gryffindor, but I also think it's Slytherin. When you imagine the time Peter has been going through with the mutations his adolescence, he's pretty deep and dark, but he feels like packer a Humorous and witty embellish himself. Please refer to my past post for details.

Anyway, in the video, Kody Smit McPhee didn't mention Kurt's dorm after all, but I suspect it might be Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. Kurt also has a dark, tough past, but he grew up very strong and nice. I think it's really Gryffindor-like...🥰

The Great Hall of Hogwarts, usually a vibrant tapestry of student chatter and clanking cutlery, held a slightly different undercurrent as the X-Men continued their integration into the school. While many students and teachers had embraced the newcomers with open arms and curiosity, the Slytherin table remained a notable exception. Their gazes, often sharp and appraising, sometimes bordering on outright hostility, frequently lingered on the mutants, a silent testament to deeply ingrained prejudices.

Jean Grey, her empathetic abilities allowing her to sense the undercurrents of discomfort and suspicion emanating from the Slytherin table, leaned slightly towards Harry as they ate dinner. "Why do the students from that table," she asked quietly, her gaze flicking discreetly towards the group of black and green clad figures, "look at us like that? It's… unsettling. I can sense a strong undercurrent of negativity."

Harry, unfortunately, was all too familiar with that particular brand of scrutiny. He sighed softly, his own gaze briefly meeting the cold stare of Draco Malfoy. "Prejudice, Jean. It's… common. In any world, I suppose. Here, it's historically been directed towards anyone not considered 'pure-blood' – those with Muggle parents, for example. Old habits die hard, and some families within Slytherin have held onto those beliefs for generations."

Hermione nodded grimly, her own experiences as a Muggle-born witch making her acutely aware of the lingering biases within the wizarding world. "They're suspicious of anything they perceive as different or as a threat to their established order. You being mutants, with powers they don't fully understand, likely triggers those ingrained prejudices."

Scott, ever watchful, scanned the Slytherin table with a thoughtful expression. "It's more than just suspicion. I can sense a distinct… hostility from some of them. Almost a sense of superiority, mixed with fear."

Ron, never one to mince words, grumbled around a mouthful of pumpkin pasty. "They're a bunch of stuck-up gits, most of 'em. Always thought they were better than everyone else just because their families have been swanning around in pointy hats for centuries. Now there's something new for them to sneer at."

Harry elaborated, drawing on his own painful experiences. "For generations, Slytherin house has been associated with families who value blood purity and tradition above all else. They were the ones who largely supported Voldemort's ideology. While things are changing, and there are definitely good people in Slytherin, that ingrained prejudice is still there, simmering beneath the surface."

Jean’s brow furrowed, her empathy reaching out to the students radiating that negativity, even though she intellectually understood the explanation. "It's difficult to understand. We've faced prejudice in our own world, fear and hatred simply because of how we were born. It's disheartening to see it mirrored here, in a place that should be about learning and acceptance."

Hermione placed a comforting hand on Jean’s arm. "Unfortunately, prejudice isn't unique to one world, Jean. It takes many forms, fueled by ignorance and fear of the unknown. But just as there are those who harbor such feelings, there are many more here at Hogwarts – and I believe in the wider wizarding world – who are genuinely curious and open to understanding."

Harry’s gaze swept across the Great Hall, lingering on the friendly interactions between some of the younger Gryffindors and Bobby Drake as he conjured intricate ice sculptures. He saw Luna Lovegood engaging Kurt Wagner in a fascinating discussion about thestrals and teleportation, their differences seemingly irrelevant in their shared curiosity.

"They're right," Harry said, his voice holding a note of hope. "It's not everyone. Most of the students are just… curious. They see you for who you are, not just as 'mutants.' But the prejudice… it's a reminder that there's still work to be done, in every world, to truly overcome those old, ingrained biases."

Scott nodded, his gaze meeting Harry’s with a shared understanding of the challenges of bridging divides. "We're used to it. But it doesn't make it any less frustrating. We came here hoping for understanding and alliance, and while we've found that with many, that undercurrent from them…" He gestured subtly towards the Slytherin table.

"Just be wary," Ron advised, his usual jovial demeanor turning serious for a moment. "Some of them can be right nasty when they think they can get away with it. But you've got us. And a whole lot of other people here who've learned the hard way what prejudice can do."

Jean’s expression hardened slightly, a flicker of telekinetic energy briefly surrounding her hands. "We're not easily intimidated. We've faced far worse than a few judgmental stares. But it's a shame. We came here in good faith, hoping to build bridges, not walls."

Harry placed a reassuring hand on her arm. "And you are, Jean. Just remember that their prejudice says more about them than it does about you. We'll stand with you, every step of the way."

Yes, exactly as a saying i once heard goes,"Who taught you how to hate," its not a natural thing if you look at children playing they have no care in the world between race, creed or gender,

But eventually, someone, somewhere, somehow, will start to slip nasty thought into their brains,

And the cycle will start again

The problem is you have to either see it from the perspective of a survivor who has.seen the monsters in human skin, or be someone who stands up and says "no more, we will not act like animals any more we have to do something about this" because if not.... its just going to continue until it spirals out of control completely,

Kurt is a superior mutant, but he feels sorry for the sapiens and secretly helps them. There are a lot of mutants who don't like Kurt's behavior.

If the nightsilver in the original timeline and the nightsilver in the mirror universe are reversed, a very interesting situation will be created, right? 😋

Throwing my two cents into the Kurt Hummel hogwarts house debate...

I’ve always treated the house one is sorted into as the house whos characteristics the child values the most. Hence Harry asking for Gryffindor (thus proving he valued bravery more) and Draco (who isn’t particularly cunning or ambitious) who values Slytherin as that is what he has always been told is supreme. And the most obvious example being Hermione with her literal quote in book one about how knowledge is not as valuable as bravery in her eyes.

Slytherin, my own house, is what for a long time I believed Kurt was. But then I started writing this post. Kurt is very ambitions and cunning, however his value on those traits? Very little. In fact I would go as far to say his values would place him in Hufflepuff before Slytherin. Kurt sees how Rachel and Santana (both absolutely Slytherin no arguments) treat others around them and doesn’t always agree or like it. When Blaine tells the warblers that Kurt will be the duet partner without audition Kurt immediately asks about others having a chance. No Slytherin would do that. Kurt may love Rachel but when he is fighting her it’s usually over her ambition going too far. In Audition he and Mercedes are horrified by how Rachel scares off sunshine. He doesn’t value the deviousness of her plan even to object to the content of it. Kurt hated how Sebastian acted and treated others around him (very unslytherin of him because us Slytherins can appreciate our enemies plans even when we hate them so much) and even refuses to take action with Santana.

Kurt is so so brave. He faces that school and everyone who has hurt him every day with determination. And he doesn’t just value bravery in others, he expects it. During prom Queen he expects Dave to use the opportunity to come out because that’s what he would have done. He never really understands that his level of bravery is not common. Until Blaine showed up he had trouble finding someone who would be “just as brave as you are” (Burt Hummel Duets). He stands up to authority (Britney/Brittany, Bad Reputation, and others) and is somewhat disappointed when others around him don’t do the same. Not to mention the chivalry demonstrated by letting Sebatian off the hook. If you look at most of the series he seems like a cut and dry Gryffindor.

However I acknowledge that no one is a cut and dry anything. Kurt is ambitious, but he refuses to even put his ambitions above his family (Wheels). I think Kurt would be a particularly tough placement for the hat. I could go even as far as to say a hatstall. You can legitimately make an argument for any of the houses. But I do think that “Better be... GRYFFINDOR!”

Why Kurt Hummel is a Gryffindor

This is a reaction post to @klainetrashnumberone’s post on why she thinks Kurt is a Slytherin. 

(Disclaimer: I’m personally not a very big fan of Slytherin house. I think it really depends on your own experiences with the houses where you sort your favourite characters. I am also really not trying to offend anyone else with other beliefs) 

I think there are good arguments to defend both houses. I get where you are coming from when you say Kurt is a Slytherin. But!!! Though all the reasons why you think Kurt is a Slytherin do fit his personality, they are not his most dominant characteristics. Yes, he is sneaky and cunning and ambitious and all those things. I would never say he isn't. But the main reason why I see him as a Gryffindor and not as a Slytherin is because morally he would always go for for the good for most people and not just for himself and the people close to him. 

Slytherins are more likely to dismiss others feelings to achieve their goals. Kurt isn’t like this. He is the most selfless person in the world. He will never do something if it’d mean hurting someone else. He also would never think less of a person for being less cool or poor or anything. (The blood purity part of Slytherin house bothers me) 

Take Santana for instance. A true Slytherin. Her and Kurt have very similar traits in their personality. However! Santana is loyal to few people that have earned her trust. Her sense of what’s right is more limited to her direct environment. She is willing to put herself first in situations.

Yes, Kurt is loyal to his loved ones, but it doesn’t end there. Kurt wants whats right for everyone. Take his strong fight against bullying when he ran for class president for example. He has a fundamental sense of what is right.

Slytherins are more likely to do something for their own good and not take someone else’s feelings in consideration. Kurt always thinks of how his actions would effect others. 

Also, you say he always thinks before he acts. He doesn’t jump right into things. Well, when he is put under pressure he can jump into things head first without thinking about it because he feels its the right thing to do. Take “Bash” for example. I have never seen a more Gryffindor thing in my life. He sees something that isn’t right so he just acts. Another moment you or choosing “not the boy next door” as his audition song. 

Yes Kurt makes snarky comments, but so does Harry. 

Your sense of humor or quips don’t put you in a certain house. The way you treat the people around you, your moral compass and the intentions/motivations to your actions do.

You requested asks and here’s one I argue passionately about my friends with: what Hogwarts house do you think Kurt would be sorted into? (Feel free time do other glee characters too!)

Ooh ok, so for me the obvious choices are Slytherin and Gryffindor. (As a Slytherin I’m tempted to bring him over to the not-so-dark-side and call it a day but i wont) 

I feel like he could be a minor hat stall, i mean he’s brave, but he’s also ambitious. (Since those are really the main traits) i mean he auditioned for NYADA, didn’t get in, and was determined to audition again, he didn’t let that one setback rule his life. 

But, he is also very brave, standing up to Karosky, all of the other fuckers who made his life a living hell, endured so much crap through out his life, and kept a brave face. 

Looking at it all I’m kinda torn, my first instinct is to always put him in slytherin-which isn’t my go to for everyone. (Side note, i think I’m changing my own mind on this) but lets look at one more thing, the slushee in Micheal. 

No slytherin would back down from taking that evidence to the police, i mean it. I am one, i know what I’m talking about lmao. That screams Gryffindor to me, trying to “teach them a lesson” or some crap, no, let him be kicked out, he earned it. FUCK NOW I DONT EVEN KNOW

I’m team Gryffindor. :)

I see the argument that he’s a Slytherin, and I wouldn’t even necessarily argue that his traites are more Gryffindor than Slytherin; it’s a really close call and I see both sides...

HOWEVER.

I’m team Gryffindor because I think it comes down to his values, and I think that Kurt has shown us that, ultimately, his values align with Gryffindor more than they do with Slytherin. And that’s why I think Kurt Hummel is a Gryffindor.

For what it’s worth, this is coming from someone who is a Hufflepuff despite seeming like I should be a Ravenclaw (I have actually gotten into arguments with my friends about this because they’re all convinced I should be Ravenclaw - but I’m not).
