Getting used to being in Katze's company every day had been easy enough. [Katze/Hajime]

Toei gave us another rainbow-coloured horror.

As expected, this show gave me a craving for sweets.

I mostly kept myself in the dark about the plot, so I could unravelled it while watching.

Gavv’s first episode excited me more than Geats and Gotchard’s first episode. The vibe and pace reminded me of Agito and Ryuki. It also contained many references to the previous seasons.

The fight scene was great. Though, the Rider Kick was not as impressive as Gotchard.

The third Rider with a name started with G. The third Rider who was a Momma’s Boy.

It seemed, the enemies made Dark Treats from humans’ positive emotions. Like any other snacks, it was addictive. Were humans’ emotions acted as narcotics for them?

If the show were more mature, the one turned into snacks would be human flesh instead. But because this was for children, the writer had to resort to implication and symbolism.

Shouma looked even younger and innocence than Ichinose. He might be a baby.

His mother was a human. So, it was a case of a monster falling in love with its food?

The way Shouma created his minions were too disturbing. He looked like he was giving birth to them. Toei was so cruel making them so cute and then killing them.

The sound the Gavv Driver made reminded me of a horror carnival.

I liked Hajime. I think this show going to have a lot of interesting side characters.

It seemed the first arc going to focus on Shouma meeting kind-hearted people that helped solidified his resolve to protect humanity.

I used to joke with my brothers that Riders from early Heisei era were all homeless people. Shouma literally was homeless.

Valen reminded me of Shinji. Perhaps, because they were in the same profession.
