Grand Central

The sun can no longer shine through the windows this way because of the taller buildings that now surround the station.

zindagi to tum bhi ho zindagi toh hum bhi hai
aur haan,
"kaaga re kaaga re mori itni araj tose, chun chun khaiyo maas.
rough translation of the context: dear crow, eat my meat selectively after my death, don't eat my eyes, for i wish to see my beloved.

Sunbeams into Grand Central Station (January 1st, 1930)
The windows of the station were designed to make these beams, taking full advantage of the position of the sun for this effect. This is no longer possible due to congestion of buildings now surrounding the station blocking the path of the sun’s light.
