I’m looking to revamp an old OC of mine, and what’s better than getting some new writing done at the same time!

I’m looking to base this either in a modern or medieval fantasy world. I’m also happy to base this on universes like Baldur’s Gate 3 (against Halsin or Gale) or Dragon Age (against Dorian) too but it isn’t required.

I’m also only looking for MxM - and I write switches.

About my OC himself: Vaelian is 27 years old, the youngest and only remaining sibling out of three noblemen’s children, and burdened with a lot of expectations. He is currently working to pay off his family’s debt to the city, and is expected to carry on the family’s bloodline once he settles down. He has no interest in either, but won’t openly speak out against it. Vae keeps his chin up with a strong extroverted personality, and an optimistic outlook on life whenever he can. As I said the point of this is to flesh him out more, so I’ll be working on a much more interesting bio eventually.

For the specifics of our plots I’d love to brainstorm something together, although I have a few ideas:

Modern, sex / bdsm club that our characters meet at and the rest is history

Modern or Fantasy, you character has been falsely accused of a crime and they must work together to find the real culprit

Fantasy, your character is a new adventurer trying to recruit a party to go questing with while talking of grand adventures and glorious treasure

Otherwise hit me with any plots you’ve been wanting to fill, and I’d love to squeeze Vae into them.

Tav casually making bear jokes at Astarion over breakfast after hearing what he and Halsin got up to last night after heavy drinking and even heavier confessions.

Astarion was looking rather disheveled and obvious bruised bite marks littered his pale skin, but they weren't ordinary bite marks...no, they were large enough to be that of a bear, so adjusting his night shirt he plops down next to Tav after rolling his eyes at their joke.

"Well, I will say—He certainly lives up to everyone's expectations on being rather large."

Halsin was heard choking on his breakfast.

Thinking about how romancing Astarion as a druid is interesting because for one, it has the potential to be the most long lasting relationship Astarion could ever have with anyone due to a druid's long lifespan (and I need him to be happy for as long as possible ok 🥺🥺), but also in terms of roleplaying, since druids love all that is natural and are against all that is unnatural, which, as an undead, is technically what Astarion is; so there's potential for angst and conflict, where Tav may have to change their beliefs about the undead, and slowly learn that they can work together and ultimately even end up sleeping with him lol

RP Idea

Halstarion, but make it a Hallmark movie

Big-city lawyer (or businessman) Astarion visits a small town (Reithwin) to convince Halsin the town (park ranger, lumberjack, farmer, handyman, wood carver? There are a lot of things he could be, take your pick) to sell his property or give over rights to land for a soulless corporate entity (apartment complex). But oh no, he's hot, and nice, and reminds Astarion of the value of nature, small towns, and social connection. Also maybe Astarion has become a little too materialistic and cold.

And yes Cazador is absolutely the selfish, entitled, big-city boyfriend who shows up for the climatic plot point of revealing Astarion's true intentions and demanding that he hurry up and get back to Baldur's Gate. Oh no, now Astarion has to perform a grand gesture that proves that he does actually have feelings for Halsin. And then they kiss and everything is totally fine. (and more because we can go a little off-script)
