On Saturday, I realised I didn’t have any projects with plain stockinette that would be appropriate for dark theatre knitting and I had 2 events/shows over Sun & Mon - so I cast on a #MusselburghHat on Saturday and got through the increases, ready for #SixTheMusical on Sunday - this is how much I got done during the show and dinner with friends afterwards! Today we’re going to the Bat Out Of Hell musical, so we’ll see how much I get done there! It is #sleeveappreciationsunday 🧶 If you have been following me for a while now, you might know my Veilchen Sweater which I released in June 2020. #veilchenSweater It is a drop shoulder sweater that is worked from the top down and has the most interesting construction that I have not seen anywhere else yet. The cable that starts at the neckband, runs down the shoulder and all the way down the sleeve is not only stunning - if I may say so myself - but also gives the sweater structure and helps it keep its shape. Ever since I made my Veilchen Sweater it has been one of the designs that I wear the most. It can easily be paired with jeans and be worn over dresses. A while back I finally had the opportunity to wear my Sunkissed Sea Tee by the sea. 🌊🌞 #sunkissedSeaTee It was not the Mediterranean Sea as I had envisioned when I named this cute circular yoke tee, but the Baltic Sea and it was still very lovely. 😊 Recently I noticed that many of my designs are inspired by the sea. Besides the Sunkissed Sea Tee there is of course the Seaborn Tee and then there is the Vitamin Sea Sweater. 🤣 What can I say?! I have always love the sea! Once I am in the water, it is very hard to try to get me out. 😁 So, I cannot promise that there won't be more sea themed knits in the future. Yesterday I wore my black Feldspar Tee for the first time this year. #feldsparTee It always makes me feel effortlessly elegant while still being very comfortable. The linen, cotton and viscose blend that I used is just perfect for summer. The pattern was published almost a year ago in Interweaves Quick + Easy Knits No.2. It was my first design ever to be published in a magazine and I am still very proud of this achievement. 🙌 If I am not mistaken, I will regain the rights to sell this pattern soon.
