I FINISHED ALL MY EXAMS AND ALMOST GOT ALL OF THEM OVER 90 LIKE UH MY SCI EXAM I GOT A 93 AND THEN MY OTHER TWO I GOT 100S AND THEN I GOT.. 75 for history but whateva..! I STILL HAVE AN 85 OVERALL AND MY OTHER CLASSES ARE LITERALLT 95+ SO YAY

God, this show is cute, and uplifting, and happifying.  It always puts me in such a good mood.  Well, not always, there were points in Megumi’s breakup speech where I was really crushed, but you know what I mean.  And travel!  I love love love love love traveling, and this episode really brought that out for me to live vicariously through these girls.

Up next for the liveblog is going to be the first episode of Steven Universe Future!  Are you excited?  Because I am.  I can hardly wait.  New Steven Universe!  It’s going to be awesome to liveblog the Big One again.  I’ll be seeing you guys Friday for that.  In the meantime, I need to decide whether I’m going to stream more Fire Emblem tonight.  I very well may; it’s kind of late, but I’m in the mood.  We’ll see.

When I get clothes related to my fandoms! I have more Tangled related things than anything else, since it's my #1 love, and they're my favorite things! And my cloak, that I love so dearly, is inspired by the many things I love that has characters wearing them, but I wanted dark blue specifically because Merlin gives Arthur a blue cloak and Arthur keeps it, like the medieval version of stealing a partner's hoodie

When I make new friends in the same fandoms as me and we can talk about the things we love!

Just finding new fandoms. When I fall in love with a new thing, I'm always sooo happy to learn it has a fandom! I've been disappointed with things having little popularity in the past, so the Merlin fandom being so active is a dream come true 🤩

Question... How would you go about telling someone that they're making you uncomfortable (online)?? I've always said that my blog is open to anyone and if they wanna start talking to me, just go for it but I've been getting messages form someone recently that have been increasingly disconcerting and i just don't know how to respond anymore without coming off as rude.

Okay, this is tricky, because I’ve had the same thing happen to me. Obviously, I’ve made it clear my dms are always open on any social media platform I’m on, and I have gotten myself into that situation before and it really sucks. You want to help someone not only because you feel obligated to, but also because you genuinely want to see this person get better.

The honest truth here is, the person in this situation almost never wants to get better. They want sympathy. They want to guilt you into an abusive friendship where you’re their punching bag, shoulder to cry on, therapist, and dairy all at once. Hell, I still have a friend like that now that I don’t have the heart to turn away because we’ve been friends for years.

The point is, the longer you let yourself be this person’s puppet, the deeper in it you get. The more extravagant and dark their sob story gets, the more they give you lines about how you’re their only friend they can trust, the more they say dark stuff to get a rise out of you.

There is no nice way to leave this person because there’s absolutely no way to help them. The problem with these people is they don’t want to be helped, they want to be heard. And yes, they’re probably going through shit, which makes you feel even worse about it. But the thing that you personally have to come to terms with is that if this person isn’t going to make the effort to make themselves better, you should not pick up that slack and try to make them better with the effort they won’t put forth. Healing is slow, and it’s painful. But you are not required to do someone else’s healing for them.

In the end, the best thing is to be upfront and honest. Tell them that your friendship is too emotionally taxing on you and you simply don’t have it in you to keep talking to them and you don’t want to lead them on. Tell them you wish them the best of luck, maybe give them some resources that are appropriate to whatever best suits their situation (for example, hotlines, local shelters, apps for mental illness such as MY3, Calm Harm, Happify, etc) and leave it at that. Be polite, be kind, but make it crystal clear what you’re saying.

And yeah, the person, if they’re toxic enough, will try to guilt-trip you into staying with them. Threaten to commit suicide, hurt themselves, even cuss you out or whatever. All you can do is remind them that you want them to get better and once again point them towards any resources that may help them. If the person goes above and beyond to make an excuse against every resource possible, they don’t want to get better, and you can call them out on that. There comes a point where you have to stop being nice, unfortunately. 

Worst comes to worst, you may have to block this person and hope to god they don’t make a public scene out of it. If they do, ignore the drama, ignore anything that comes your way about it. You’re only going to feed the fire, no matter what your side of the story is. 

It’s tough, and it’s toxic as hell and so hard to deal with because there’s a lot of emotional baggage. I get it, trust me. I wish there was an easier way to go about it, but there’s really not. You can’t jump after someone who's already jumped off a cliff and left their parachute behind. They’ve already made up their mind.
