He is an amazing guy, he spends the whole time among us, for two hours without saying a word, but you can hear his restrained smile during the conversations, he doesn't care about being the center of attention, he is happy just to be there, but when he notices something strange he talks a lot to avoid a bad atmosphere, he pretends to be inattentive in our meetings, but he is always avoiding possible confusion, someone with the maturity of how to be a true friend, someone who knows how to play his role in a circle of friends, there is no point in trying to change that, groups of friends are always the same, there is the heartthrob, the clown, and the clueless one, there is the shy one, the couple of the group, and the loudmouth, the ugly one and the weird one, sometimes they are the same person, but he is the one who often makes us forget during conversations, we only remember him when it is time to goodbye,but he is the one who keeps the group together, because while everyone thinks about standing out,he only worries about smilingand preventing us from going over the limitwith each other.He doesn't get all the looks on him all the time,but he has the respectand admiration of all of us,he is part of a groupstaying nicely in his little corner,keeping us happynot letting us be alone,this is our big brother at heart.

It’s insane how much your mindset can change after escaping an abusive relationship.

This day 2 months ago I attempted suicide simply because my ex told me to, and today I am healthy, happy, and so glad my attempt failed. I’m back in contact with my friends, and spend so much more time with my family it’s beautiful.

Not a day goes by where I don’t think about the pain I was put through, and I don’t doubt it is going to take me a while to get over that, if I ever do, but what I do know is that things are already so much better, and despite all the terrible things going on in the world, I have never felt so positive.

To anybody in the same place I was 2 months ago, I hope this can be a sense of hope for you, to show you that things do get better. Escaping that relationship was the hardest, most terrifying thing I have ever done, but it is by far the proudest moment of my life so far. I believe in you, and if I can help at all, my inbox is open x
