Genesis 11 From Babel to Haran

The families of Noah’s children lived together and were united with one language and culture. They planned to build a great city Babel and a tall tower to make themselves famous and powerful. To prevent this, God confused their language and scattered them all over the earth. Next, a simple genealogy from Noah's son Shem to Abram. The final part was about the life of Abram's father Terah and his family, and Abram's two brothers, his wife, and his nephew. Together, the family moved from Ur (southern Iraq), some 600 miles closer to Canaan, settling in Haran.
