Another cosplay update: I finished my Fen'Harel eye bead embroidery! I love how it looks, even if one half will be covered up by his fur pelt 🙃 Now I just need to sew his tunic all together!

Artist who went/is going to art school, but teachers ignored them/are never in class/just care about their favorites so they kind of had to learn things by themself and then go crawling like a worm to the professors and ask "like this?" And they grunt and nod instead of giving constructive criticism.

ive been very inactive here (and everywhere) lately and one of the (many) reasons why is bc i was busy making this little calico critter house/kitchen for my friend katie's birthday! it took many weeks and a lot of work and i learned a lot of new things in the process lol but im pretty pleased w how it turned out!

i bought some things secondhand (the bunnies (obviously), the bigger furniture (fridge, sink, oven, table+chairs, big shelf), and the food/drinks/kitchenware), but a lot of it is made by hand! a number of things here are made of modeling clay which is something ive been working with more and more and i think im starting to get the hang of

so sorry for disappearing :( i miss yall lots. i open tumblr every day and think ill finally reply to people and reply to asks but then i just don't do it. i feel bad that i always have to come here and apologize (even though i know i shouldn't have to or feel the need to) and i always feel like im being down 24/7 /:

truthfully i stepped away because my depression has been at it's worst and everything is beginning to feel like a chore and i don't want to bring that energy here at all :(

i think im so nervous about finishing my contract because i wont know what to do with myself afterwards. like, sure theyve forgotten about me and nearly abandoned me, and im quite literally being used then thrown away, but after i get my discharge papers im going to be without purpose again and i dont know if i can do it a second time
