Me everytime i see you post an update
But fr i get really excited whenever i see that youve posted an update for your rimworld colonists and how their funky lil cult is going. Whenever i see it i always go to your blog to see if i missed any updates, and if i have its like a mega update and is even better
Me everytime I get a lovely ask like this
and then I text my little brother about it because I'm so excited
I'm so happy you're enjoying this story, and I hope you continue to enjoy it! It's messages like this that make me eager to keep it up. I come back to re-read them on days when drawing is too hard, and I feel down, and I thank you so much for that <3 <3 <3
Have an amazing day 😁🥰

I can't stop thinking about that art piece you reblogged a bit ago of Ellie from The Last of Us and Aloy interacting, it makes me so happy. Ellie would probably have a little starry-eyed crush on her and would try so hard to mimic Aloy's archery technique, fishing arrows out of her backpack and clumsily practicing nocking two on the string at the same time. The thought of her looking up at a perfectly clear, starry sky from the back of a Tallneck just melts my heart as well.
YESSSS Spooky went OFF with that commission, right??
I totally agree with you! They would get along so well. My favorite moments spent with both of them were getting to experience the bits of awe and excitement they show for the world around them, despite their trauma. Being enthralled by a world that has been anything but kind to them. There's a lot they could learn from each other, and so much they could bond over. My heart is so soft for them.

What mod is the misanthrope trait from? What does it do?
Ah, misanthrope trait, my beloved...
It's from the mod [DN] Bundle Of Traits by Danimineiro on Steam. It's similar to the vanilla misogynist or misandrist traits, except that instead of hating men or women specifically, Mechi just hates everyone (with a -25 opinion labelled "misanthrope hates everyone" in the social tab).
That's why he's still the only colonist after so long; he's a recluse who wants everyone kept at arm's length (or several arm's lengths if possible) and also just super rude and mean with a social ability of zero. I love him so much, he's such an asshole <3

how do u feel about jjk269 bc tbh i'm a bit upset about it 😔 [happy for the good news but still]
jjk 269 spoilers!!!
.
.
okay, i'm SOOOO happy hiromi is okay and that yuta made it out of this safely, but the fact that the only acknowledgment that satoru gets is kusakabe blaming him for all this (since he chose to keep yuuji alive instead of executing him) is actually so painful. yeah, i 100% know he's not loved in canon the way he's loved in fanon, but i was still hoping that the other sorcerers would speak fondly of him, even for just a bit.
how insane is it that the only one to give him praise was sukuna, when he called him magnificent as he was dying after being cut in half? my heart aches. i need to lay down.

I was watching Chapter 15: The Believer yesterday and something stood out to me that I guess I'd never really thought about before...
When the Juggernaut is getting attacked by the Pirates, we see several shots of Din struggling without his armour. It's a new way of fighting for him and he struggles to adapt at first.
He quickly rallies and skilfully fights them off, though. But more pirates soon appear and after fighting them off, Din is thrown backwards. He sees several pirates approaching.
Din lies down in defeat, powerless to fight them off without his armour or weapons. Knowing his death is likely imminent, without hope of survival.
Instead of giving up and accepting defeat, he does not allow himself to wallow in despair and mystery. After sighing deeply he steadies himself and gets right back up:
Facing down death as the pirates approach, he does not show weakness or fear.
He doesn't allow himself to be cowardly, or dwell on his likely impending doom and the fact he has failed in his quest to rescue the child he loves so much...
Instead, Din stands there with his fists up, outnumbered and without weapons, prepared to fight to the end even in the face of certain death...
Fortunately, of course, the TIE Fighters appear to save the day and Din succeeds in his quest to rescue Grogu and, well, you know the rest.
But I think this little moment in one of the best episodes is such a good insight into his character.
Standing up with his fists clenched like that, outnumbered and hopeless but refusing to accept defeat is perhaps one of the most Mandalorian things he's ever done. Yet only a few minutes later he removes his helmet and that act leaves him rendered an apostate in the eyes of his people. Told he is a Mandalorian no more, even.
It's kind of heartbreaking because he really did not deserve to be told that. Mandalorians are proud warriors, who never give up. Being a coward is the worst insult in Mando'a, their ancient language. Here, Din showed that he is nothing of the sort.
Din Djarin is as honourable a Mandalorian as they come.
