👍thinking about ada and in-universe applications of the leon effect. spies, as in Real Life Spies, don't tend to have legal identities, and if they give you a name, chances are it's a fake one. so. headcanon time ada wong is not ada wong's birth name like, even without the trans headcanon. it's a name she came up with for the job wesker assigned her to do in raccoon city, in the event that she needs to give someone a name for whatever reason. and maybe she only really tells it to leon in the first place to get him to stop asking so many questions. give him the bare minimum to distract him from the more . Relevant. issues but then as this bright-eyed, stupidly trusting rookie tails her, even tells her off to being too calloused with kendo, and going as far as taking a Bullet for her. the way leon says that fake name starts to mean More . and it's as she's falling to her death that she realizes maybe ada isn't so fake of a name anymore. maybe she is ada wong and then some time after wesker plucks her from midair and they get out of the city she decides to say hey. i'm going by ada now

haikyuu is...cute. like- ok i dont really do slice of life animes and heavily dont do sports anime (haikyuu and blue lock are literally the only ones) but Haikyuu is definitely not the same as Blue Lock. They spend a lot of time explaining how the game works where as Blue Lock its kinda "you know how soccer works or sucks to be you" which I like bc the one thing I do get tired with haikyuu is the over explanation of things. It's a cute show though! I could only watch it once thru but its fun when you haven't watched it before

I was a transmed but the switched over to gender critical and radfem ideology. hi anon tysm for this ask!! i been thinkign abt how i wanna reply for a couple days so apologies abt that, but i just wanted to lay out my main points on being anti transmed (but not a tucute either)

- the entire debate of dysphoria (or lack thereof) being the defining factor of what makes someone trans vs cis is incredibly arbitrary and exists solely on the internet, there are nondysphorics who transition and cis dysphorics who don’t so it really does NOT have any real impact

- transmed ideology allows and enables all kinds of self pitying bullshit, making dysphoria and the suffering you feel because of it the entire center of your transness is just gonna make your dysphoria worse. not to mention how common it is for transmeds to constantly lament about how being trans sucks and how it’s just suffering from a terrible condition and how liking being trans is a bad thing to them.

that being said, all gender believers are dumb in my opinion and both sides of the debate are just arguing semantics and things that will not impact any of us irl. if the claim that nondysphorics and xenogender users are somehow ruining things for trans people as a whole held any weight, then you’d see it impacting things like policy and not just being clowned on on the internet.

i also will let it be known that there’s a lot of dysphoric and transitioning radfems who are incredibly sympathetic and supportive towards trans and dysphoric individuals, and that people who claim to be “radical feminists” but exclusively just bully trans people and never talk about actual radical feminism are not actually radfems and are just assholes

HMMM well i don’t have a lot but i have been thinking about the lake caverns again! i mean. obviously part of this is because scattered!impulse lives in my head rent free, but also i just... am deeply affected by them.

there’s something about the idea that at the bottom of the betweenlands, this dimension filled with rot and decay, there’s deep, cold, clean water, where the fish swimming in it are either blind or glowing with malice, where the lights in the water are either anglerfish or strange speleotherms filled with life crystals.

i’ve always felt like the spookiest the betweenlands gets is if there’s a contrast where, in and among all the muck and grime, you find something pristine, and that’s the lake caverns for you! :D

so perhaps unsurprisingly, i think shuichi’s a pretty gentle tickler. kind of like the direct opposite of the hc i had for ler kaito. he prefers tickling bare skin directly rather than trying to go through clothes, since it lets him just tease his fingers across the lee’s ticklish spots without the need for much pressure. he often does things like lightly tracing circles on the lee’s belly or softly massaging their sides in a way that feels nice but still tickles, and it usually leads to a lot of giggling instead of full-blown laughter (which is pretty cute).

kokichi can be such a little shit and has no reservations about messing with shuichi or anyone else, so tickling him is really payback for everything he pulls. it’s actually direct payback in shuichi’s case, since kokichi’s definitely tickled him within an inch of his life a few times. if shuichi just happens to be extra exasperated with kokichi at the time, and kokichi’s left himself wide open, then you can bet shuichi’s bringing out the t i c k l e s. 

it helps a lot that kokichi’s absurdly ticklish, and more people would know this if they could actually get close enough to him. something i also hc is that kokichi’s particularly weak to gentle tickles… and whaddya know shuichi’s a gentle tickler. now that’s what i call a perfect match. 

sometimes tickling kokichi brings out shuichi’s teasing side, too, which always catches kokichi off guard and gets him blushing like crazy. shuichi will just start asking a bunch of “innocent” questions and making observations out loud.
