Toto had just about three consecutive days of being virtually unhandlable, there was one half a day in there that he was alright then the rest were just a ton of hissing and lunging and even outright flying across the room to attack.
It’s nice to have his sweet affectionate self back today. Whatever he’s been struggling with the last few days I hope he’s feeling safer now.

the way that one line from the new epilogue in an astarion romance is going to HAUNT me
just. what a profoundly intense thing to confess to someone.
like, just these six months of newfound happiness with you exerts a force on his heart equal and in direct opposition to two centuries of endless torment, the gnawing hunger and exploitation. this flashbulb-bright fraction of his long life holds the same gravity to him as years upon years of darkness and suffering.
in all likelihood, he hasn’t even known his lover for as long as his worst memory lasted, that year sealed away to go mad from starvation and sensory deprivation, yet he still tells them this brief time has been so fundamentally and powerfully important that the weight of even that unimaginable hell is vanishingly small compared to this present he has now and the future ahead of them both.
how am i supposed to act normal about this.

So all of these guys I got are just a bunch of LOZ "what if" AU's and Plants is: What if Link was the forest sage?
So he's the forest sage. Always lived in the forest and doesn't have a destiny telling him to leave. So he doesn't leave. He doesn't really like pondering about the outside world, and the thought of other people seeing him makes him real nervous.
What's that? How would he know of the outside world if he stays in the forest anyways??
But ah! In canon even the Great Deku Tree knows about hyrule proper, and same here where Link of course knows about the outside kingdom. He even knows about the Princess and her best friend the Gerudo prince, Ganondorf.
In fact, the both of them would visit him ever since they were all kids. Many times they'd come to the forest to spend time with their little forest friend. Zelda, ever the artist, wanted to have a way where they can stay with him longer and came up with the idea of painted flower pots that hold domestic plants for him.
All over the inside of the forest temple and even outside there are tons of flower pots they've pained together. He loves all of them and takes care of all his new plant friends.
The goodbyes are bittersweet knowing they'll visit again, but always knowing Link is alone whenever they're not there. One day they hope Link can join them outside the forest. Maybe on a road trip around the country and share their world with him for once.
But for now he seems very set on staying in the forest and reassures them he's fine and can't wait for them to visit again.

[ cw: death mention / family death mention / ]
Mhmm I sure love thinking of the reality where we did get more time to really know Karai and her dynamics with the bros. Losing her hit hard in the finale, but it would’ve hit much, much harder had we known Karai longer and really saw her relationships develop with everyone.
I especially would have been interested in her dynamic with Leo, as past iterations often have the two of them clash in ideals and the like while still sharing many characteristics. Two sides of the same coin, and all that. Her specifically being the bros’ Gram-Gram also adds a whole new dynamic as well.
Imagine how interesting it would be, to have Karai start off on Leo’s side for once, showing wholly just how alike the two are at their cores and bonding as family without the worry of betrayal or animosity that other iterations suffer through, only to have Karai die anyway. Their parting hug and the desperate look of horror Leo wears later on would have hit that much harder, I feel.

kind of an underrated “frankfurters” type genius moment of Ed’s is honestly what he saw in Stede from the very beginning. like it’s objectively hilarious and endearing that he saw that pasty cringefail man bleeding to death and was like “I need him” but like…beyond the fascination even, I feel like he knew. he’s always playing the long game. he knew Stede was a “cool pirate,” that he was more than he seemed on the surface, was worth giving notice to—that he’d be something. it’s exactly what Ed is best at, and what makes him so successful: he sees the utility and potential in what others tend to ignore. trash as treasure, if you will. and of course, as usual, he’s right.

Poor Link was so cutely intrigued and paying attention to the foraging lesson just to get Pranked.
I bet Ms. Scientist does this all the time now that she knows The Hero of Hyrule is fairly easy to jumpscare.
I mean, I think she's innocent here. But post Botw? Zelda would mess with him, I just know it.
