i was being completely serious. he's covered in metal and that's how they make you stand when doing body checks.

there is absolutely an essay in me abt how the kennedy center Fully committing to freddie having a hedonistic breakdown in bangkok immediately allows us to understand where his character is given what he lost/how he reacted to things in the first act and also perfectly sets up how his loneliness drives his desperation as the act goes on (this is a man who has Nothing he truly loves anymore, this is a man who is not being safe, this is a man who has been having a near constant panic attack from pity the child 1 onwards and is doing Anything he can to numb himself) but unfortunately the only coherent thought in my head when i’m actually watching that scene is ‘unhgghg raúl esparza hot wtf how is he THAT hot’
