you turn around to look at him, half insulted and half wet at the insinuation. you don't know why you do it. maybe it's because when you turn around, he's an inch from your face, or maybe it's the lopsided and cat-like nature of his grin, like a wolf about to catch the rabbit it's been chasing, or those low-lidded eyes of his that don't falter when your gaze meets his, but when you turn to face him, you shy a away a little. you press your ass back against the table and he leans in over you, leering.

"what?" he grins, clearly amused. "getting shy?"

"stop fucking around," you say.

"i'm not," he leans in a little more. "never was. you haven't figured that out yet?"

I've been calling it the Kiske-Hale-Bulsara family tree and not the Kiske-Hale-Badguy tree because by the end of Strive post-FoC Sol seems to be pretty comfortable being called Frederick again and I think there's a very real possibility, if they keep going the post-Flame of Corruption direction, he might just permanently become Frederick. "Sol Badguy" is also technically "dead." From Strive, Conclusion: White House - Gardens. (this script is fan-compiled and the speakers' name choices are unofficially chosen for clarity)

Jack-O' almost exclusively calls Sol Frederick too. Granted, a lot of the stuff referring to him as Frederick now have been by people other than him. He might still see himself as Sol, but he hasn't told anyone to not call him Frederick like he has in Xrd and Overture.

I guess we'll probably find out in the anime which name he's more comfortable being referred to with now. In the meantime though, I really do think, at best, "Sol Badguy" is going to just be his bounty hunter handle and "Frederick Bulsara" will be his off-the-job casual name

Had a dream that I was watching a Mike and Jay livestream. Just them in chairs with a dark background. They were saying something like how they weren’t getting enough engagement or something, but they were also talking to me directly. I don’t know what they were saying and I fell asleep in the dream and when I woke up they were kissing but it was clearly a fake kiss so people would share it online. They brought the camera up close and it was more their 2 faces mashed up into each other than a real kiss lol

having Thoughts about astarion currently and particularly abt him being undead as in I like the idea that he forgets to blink sometimes, and mimic breathing, and his skin is very pallid, his hair is a dull shade of white/grey and his red eyes looks kind of murky and there is no light in them. also like the idea that his face - even tho there’s wrinkles - looks too smooth, almost a mask, like hes very striking in an uncanny way, and if he keeps himself still he looks like a statue of some sort. and he paints colour on himself to look more alive but the pigments sits above his skin, not sinking in, and the only time that his complexion looks flushed and alive is when he’s feeding on something. most esp if he’s full and sated..! like for that brief moment his cheeks are flushed and he looks alive and thriving and panting and his eyes look more vibrant as if there’s life in there but then it disappears gradually. post canon astarion who’s no longer bound by cazador’s orders and who’s more or less free to eat whoever he wants looks more alive than bg3 spawn astarion (I think he is so malnourished in that era) and he has a slight colour on his cheeks bc he’s keeping himself fed but not enough to look fully alive, only just. think ascended astarion looks more alive than spawn though only bc I don’t think he’ll deny his whims and he’ll just eat whoever whenever while spawn has more restraint.

anyway I was also thinking of the possibility that spawn kind of drops that facade of a living creature, and he doesn’t bother putting on his pigments and makeup as much, and he uses less of his perfumes especially when he’s galavanting off to who knows where. maybe in settings if he’s visiting the city or meeting new people he’ll put his perfumes and makeup again - but sometimes he doesn’t, he doesn’t think he needs it. I also think about shri’iia liking his decay corpse smell hehe maybe she’ll find it familiar considering she grew up in the braeryn and there’s probably a corpse dumped in every gutter she’s like oh you smell like home 🥰
