Inspiration:Yoga and Tantra, the five elements correlate with the 5 lower chakras (above). Neo tantrics & occultist practices relating to the chakras have less effect without the purification techniques which have been used by Yogis & Tantrics for centuries. Long-term focus, applying the proven and sound Kriya practices, is needed to purify the elemental principles within the aspirant. The goal of life is realization of the inmost self and this is reached through the comprehensive use of hatha yoga, mantras, Kriya Kundalini Pranayam, prescribed Kriya practices, and the vast toolbox of tantri& yogic techniques. These most certainly include meditation (dhynam), concentration, (dharanam), and the active workings of the teacher lineage (guru parmapara). In addition, the grace-flow from the Siddhas is rightly understood as essential, as they are the quintessential masters of the bhutas. The practices of Kriya, Tant &Yoga are directed to expand consciousness and develop unconditional love to the point of experiencing the universal bliss-vision (vinjnana samadhi)As the inner Goddess, Kundalini Shakti, reaches a given chakra, that vortex vibrates intensely until she, the great Goddess, rises up. Her departure from a given center in her upwards climb results in a profound sense of void at the point of her departure, a void which morphs into pure awareness at that center. It is as if the purification has increased the vibration of that center to the level of attunement to the cosmic nature principle (prakriti) and that it becomes reabsorbed in the vast fabric of universal consciousness, at least for the time span that she remains above it. In due course, we discover Devi can both transcend & be established permanently in each of these centers. She ascends to the consciousness of Godhood and then descends with the universal consciousness into the lower planes. The nature of soruba samadhi, the golden body, is such that rare souls are permanently established in the relative plane and yet fully transcended as well. Inevitably this means physical immortality, the physical light-body which is not subject to the usual rules of nature. Swami Giri

"Everything I Thought I Knew Seems To Be Fading Away (C.arini T.houghts E.xplained)" is a nod to my late mentor, Roland Reiss, as it explores light, shadows, and transparency. As an apprentice, I would assist him with his clear acrylic pieces he was preparing for galleries and museums. At the same time, this painting dives head first into my recent head trauma. You can take a much closer look at this piece on my shop ❤️

Grab your headphones, turn up your speakers, and press play! Today we share with you 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦, a compilation of original songs, sounds, and meditations created by Asian American women and non-binary artists and musicians. Arriving amidst a period of collective trauma and heightened xenophobic violence, 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 offers listeners a refuge for contemplation, grief, and growth.
“During the pandemic period, so many people gravitated to meditation and mindfulness practices, which are often rooted in Asian traditions such as qigong and ayurveda. 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 sheds much-needed light on how these are not merely trends, but instead come from rich cultural histories. By deepening this understanding, we can find healing for ourselves and our society.” – Adriel Luis, APAC’s curator of digital and emerging practice
𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 demonstrates how Asian Americans have played a critical role in America’s notion of mindfulness and healing arts. Commissioned at the beginning of the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, APAC spent almost three years collaborating with these musicians, artists, and cultural practitioners to vividly capture how an intensely challenging moment could lead to personal discovery and collective healing. 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦, which received critical support from the @Smithsonian American Women’s History Initiative, adds complexity to the greater landscape of meditation and healing arts tools by centering perspectives that have long been marginalized.
𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 is available as an album across digital music streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, YouTube Music, Pandora, and Amazon Music. Throughout 2023, APAC will unveil additional ways for the public to interact with 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦. Click the link in our bio to listen and learn more!

On this beautiful, gloomy, rainy day - I began a new journey.
I started traditional reiki training today, received my first attunement and a self healing protocol. Tomorrow I will give my first reiki session to another person.
I have been working on an inner child healing through the chakras workbook using the knowledge I’ve gained since taking yoga teacher training in 2019. I thought it would be quick, I would put it out, and I would just move on - but I keep coming back to it for healing myself, and would love to put out to the public in it’s entirety. I also didn’t know it all the way back before the pandemic, but polarity and reiki are integral to the process as well. Integral not only to my work, what I want to share with the world, but also to my own healing.
I’ve often called polarity a key to a lock that I didn’t know existed. Reiki is a key to a lock I’ve been staring down for years now.
Excited to see where this first step takes me.

True healing - detoxification - should not even be called 'alternative' as it is the only way to healing oneself and is based on true science, anatomy and chemistry.

Inspiration
In the case of Ophiocordyceps, an infected ant's behavior can be thought of as fungal behavior. The death grip, summit disease, these are extended characteristics of the fungus, part of its extended phenotype. Can the alterations in human consciousness and behavior brought about by psilocybin mushrooms be thought of as part of the extended phenotype of the fungus? The extended behavior of Ophiocordyceps leaves an imprint in the world in the form of fossilised scars on the underside of leaves. Can the extended behavior of psilocybin mushrooms be thought of as leaving an imprint in the world in the form of ceremonies, rituals, chants, and the other cultural and technological outgrowths of our altered states?
Do psilocybin fungi wear our minds, as Ophiocordyceps &Massospora wear insect bodies?
Terence McKenna was a great advocate of this view. Given a sufficiently large dose, he asserted, the mushroom could de expected to speak, plainly and clearly, talking 'eloquently of itself in the cool night of the mind'. Fungi have no hands with which to manipulate the world, but with psilocybin as a chemical messenger, they could borrow a human body, &use its brain & senses to think and speak through. McKenna thought fungi could wear our minds, occupy our senses & most importantly, impart knowledge about the world out there. Among other things, fungi could use psilocybin to influence humans in an attempt to deflect our destructive habits as a species. For McKenna, this was a symbiotic partnership that presented possibilities 'richer &even more baroque' than those available to humans or fungi alone.

Healthy And Whole
I am sharing a piece from my personal journal. I am not neuro-typical and I need to engage my hands in order to not zone out. I sketch to keep my brain awake whenever I am in a class, listening to a spiritual talk or sitting waiting for an appointment. This is a healing piece that came to me recently. An angel surrounded by flowers and a blue glowing light. I added an uplifting affirmation for…
