The nonstop rains in North India have brought disaster in many areas. There has been loss of life and assets due to rain and floods in western Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Red alert has been issued in western Uttar Pradesh,Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Here, due to heavy rains in the country's capital Delhi, the water level of Yamuna has already crossed the danger mark. Due to rain, several areas of Delhi are waterlogged. Delhi LG Vinay Kumar Saxena held a gathering with officials of the related departments on Tuesday (July 11) to review the rain situation and remove water-logging in Delhi.The Disaster Management Department of Uttarakhand has informed that orange alert has been issued in some districts. And there was a yellow alert, which has now been red alerted. An misfortune took place in Uttarkashi in which 4 citizens died and 7 were injured when stones fell on 3 vehicles. Passengers are regularly being warned not to go anywhere where there is a chance of stone fall. Chief Minister Dhami is regularly monitoring the situation. The rains have wreaked disaster in Himachal Pradesh as well. According to the govt figures released on Tuesday (July 11), 29 people have died in two days, 63 people have lost their lives so far in June 24. State Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu conducted an aerial analysis of the flood affected areas of the state. On Tuesday, CM Sukhu visited Kasol, Kheerganga and other affected places and he also met people during this period. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has also spoken to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, All India Congress Committee President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi. Himachal Pradesh has been guaranteed of all possible help from the Central Government. The operation of vehicles on the Chandigarh-Shimla National Highway was stopped due to landslides due to excessive rains.
