Name: Fujitsumon

Debut: Digimon Pendulum 2.0 Deep Savers (kind of. It's a little complicated. But don't worry about that)

Fujitsumon is a darling little eyes-in-a-void barnacle! With their brown exteriors, they really do bring to mind Jawas, world-renowned eyes-in-a-void creature. This is a rare design choice for a barnacle, and a barnacle is a rare creature inspiration choice! Too rare! They are such incredible and fascinating animals, and should absolutely be represented as such, and not just background decorations!

Fujitsumon is essentially a Digimon by technicality, an accessory of a creature, and I'm fine with that. They're acknowledged as creatures, and that's enough for me! They're almost always seen attached to the surface of another creature, and that sure is barnacle of them!

This is their host, Octomon! Or Octmon, if you don't like the dub name, but I think Octomon sounds better. Octomon wears a clay pot on its head, and Fujitsumon live on top of that! This is a smart setup. If I lived underwater I would love to wear a hat that some barnacle friends of mine could live on! Fujitsumon and Octomon have a mutualistic relationship going on, where the barnacles will sense danger, and warn the octopus of it, getting the whole group out of danger!

The reason I wasn't so sure about Fujitsumon's debut is that in Deep Savers, Octomon's sprite looks like this, not nearly detailed enough to even depict some barnacles! However, it does seem like the official art was made around this time, so I might as well consider this Fujitsumon's debut too.

There isn't much to Fujitsumon, but I love it! It's cute, it's a barnacle, and it's almost a "secret" creature, and that makes it, dare I say, even more fun than if it was a standalone obtainable Digimon! A charming little oddity in the digital world.

That's what I thought until I found out this little barnacle has a whole dedicated ANIME EPISODE! YEEHAW! This is the best barnacle-related cartoon episode I've ever seen! Better than SpongeBob SquarePants episode 164a Barnacle Face! Why, even better than Benny the Barnacle (2022)! Can you believe it? Better than Benny the Barnacle? I can.

In this episode of Digimon Ghost Game, the human protagonist is tormented by premonitions of disasters occurring to everyone around him, revealed to be caused by a Fujitsumon settled on his head. A land mammal is no place for a barnacle! Wouldn't it be crazy if you could go to the beach and leave with a barnacle settled on your fingernail? What would you even do? I would probably feel obligated to dip my finger into the ocean regularly to let it filter-feed. If only we had air plankton!

This Fujitsumon, as well as others that are affecting other humans, come from one particular Octomon, who got so angry at his barnacles that they Left. These are no real-life, cemented-in-place-for-the-rest-of-their-lives barnacles! They can just get up and leave if they're bothered. I bet real barnacles wish they could do that! It would be so embarrassing to end up settled right next to a turtle's... hehe... I shan't say...!

Octomon's petty outburst was over his magic brain barnacles not using their clairvoyance to help him win at a mobile game. Now, because of his Gamer Moment, there are Fujitsumon stuck directly to peoples' heads, which can cause these heads to explode. Maybe he should have just played a good mobile game, like Pico Pets Puzzle! *high fives someone offscreen*

Don't worry! Everything's ok in the end, like it always is with invertebrate friends! Octomon apologizes, the lead Fujitsumon gathers the whole crusty crew, and everything is fine except for the physical damage that has already been done, but don't worry! The virtual invertebrates are all friends again! Squishy or chitinous, none of us have spines, and that's what matters!

Introducing your station master & Magma event host!

Since there's already a lot of passengers visiting this station and I haven't spared much time to get to know my fellow submas fans over Tumbrl yet, an introduction would be in place!

I'm Jun, nice to meet you! *offers a hand for for a shake* I am a devoted submas artist & a monthly Magma event host! I go by ChooChooBoss everywhere (Twitter/Bsky/Twitch/Ko-Fi)!

This will be a long post! I will write a short intro as well which you can just skim through but here is a more in depth view how I got into submas, my other interests and life in general, in case you'd wish to know more about your conductor on this silly train!

How did I get into submas in the first place?

PLA. I met this certain mysterious & cool fellow time traveler and got curious! After the cave scene I went to read his Wiki, found out about Emmet, and... yeah. The emotional impact blasted me right out of a miserable cycle I was going through back then and set my soul on fire!! A month later I set up my first art account on Twitter, and the rest is history. They've become my greatest source of strength and inspiration and I enjoy drawing them every single day!

I love both twins very much! I tend to vibe with Ingo a little more than Emmet, but I draw Emmet more. People say I remind of butler Ingo the most, hehe. I certainly don't mind because I'm a big fan of butlermas!! In fact I got into submas & started playing Pokémon Masters EX in April 2022, a week before butler Ingo banner rolled in, so they truly got a special place in my heart ahah! (pssst draw more butlermas for me pls pls pls-)

However I don't draw warden Ingo as much as I would like to. I still get pretty emotional over his fate ahah, I can't draw him without a single tear! This sweet & kind man leading a good life and being an inspiration to others has been torn from literally everything he had for seemingly no reason apart from his name, clothes and the muscle memory and even those are barely intact. It seems like a miracle he's still standing and breathing after put through everything judging by the wear and tear on his uniform and body. Despite all that he carries a positive attitude, assists everyone in need, and does his best to help people and pokémon understand each other, unconditionally... Oh, my face is wet again...

My other interests besides submas?

Monster Hunter! Zelda! Genshin Impact! Super Mario! Trine! Crash Team Racing! And many many more! My favourite genres are platformers, kart racers, and action games, with a side of rhythm games. I'm a big fan of co-op games! I also watch my sis play JRPGs!

Monster Hunter is the dearest to me out of all. I've been hunting for well over a decade starting from MHFU. The games have charmed me with their incredibly satisfying combat system, world building, creature design, great attention to detail, character customisation and the games being nearly fully co-op!!

Other things I do:

Pokémon is practically the only turn-based game I enjoy, mainly because of the characters and collection aspect. However!! I adore Pokémon Colosseum (the first pkmn game I ever played!) and it's double battle focus, so The Indigo Disc has been a delight after the long starvation for double battles, coming up with different combinations makes the battles much more fun to me!!... I sound like Emmet here do I ahahah! We also share the fact we are both left-handed!

Shuffle dancing, daily pull-ups, and expanding my ever growing VGM collection! I also enjoy traveling and taking photos to keep as a diary! I've played piano in a music school for 9 years, and I can also play kalimba. I've done casual boxing, gymnastics, horse riding and medieval swordfighting. I used to read comics/manga and watch movies and anime but nowadays I barely do that, I just rather use that time for drawing instead of just sitting and watching, unless I have company!

I share the apartment with my anxious brother and our two sweet female cats, Laku (11, stubborn and cuddly) and Kalevi (21, demanding and full of love) in a city center. My parents are both entrepreneurs and run a farm in the countryside & I have 4 siblings with me as the middle kid!

Where can you meet me?

I am a game artist by profession, with 4 yrs of studies and roughly 7 years of EXP in the field doing game art, UI design, character/prop design, in mobile games as well as PC titles, 2D and 3D. At the moment I am looking for work; I keep up the motivation and learn new skills by running my art accounts while looking for new opportunities.

I hail from the land of darkness, snow, salmiakki, metalheads and renownly reserved people, Finland! (UTC+2)

Despite having my roots here I am pretty much the opposite of a typical Finn in almost every sense ahah! I'm a small guy who's not afraid talking to strangers and laughs a lot. And I dislike coffee for the contrary, it's very popular amongst finns.

With the inspiration from submas I've finally stepped into the world of cosplay so you can usually meet this small and excitable Ingo in the biggest local conventions, Desucon and Tracon! Come say hi!

About my social battery:

I'm both social and socially anxious ahah! I love making new friends and talking to all sorts of people and writing comments, and gathering together with my mutuals to do cool stuff together! However my social battery is very small... I often struggle with my AD(H)D and anxiety issues, so my replies can be extremely slow. I'm easily overwhelmed when life gets busy and I deal with it by withdrawing to minimise the the stimuli and then sorting my stuff out one by one. This is a frustrating shortcoming, but I'm working hard to find a balance I can maintain without getting exhausted. Please be patient with me! If you don't hear from me in a while, please don't take it personally! In fact, it makes me really happy if you contact me, for any purpose!

Which pronouns do I go with?

I go by they/them! I am also aroace, so if I appear to show any sort of romantic interest, it's definitely not that. I love meeting new people and am quite interested in people in general so I'm excited to get to know you better, but the thing is... I have been confusing people on several occassions for saying things that could be taken as flirting. I am terribly sorry for that, that's just the way I show how I care!

I don't really identify myself by any specific gender either, but rather by my roles or interests (Magma host, submas fan, game artist etc.). Submas encouraged me to enjoy dressing formally even if I'm just sitting at home, because I love formal clothing in general and wearing them makes me feel confident and stand taller! I usually wear collar shirts and black or white slacks.

More about my AD(H)D:

I don't have an official diagnosis but deal with the same problems as AD(H)D people do; poor work memory, dissociation, hyperfocus (drawing and people), sleep deprivation, impulsiveness (juggling too many things and going with the wind), getting sensory/information overloads, and feeling like I don't fit in. I figured it out after I finished school & lost my job for that I am unable to handle big tasks without anyone giving me directions. It has taken a while but I've figured out things that help me manage my daily life as well as have a medication that mainly boosts my capability to get things started which is another great struggle ahah.

How do I manage to keep myself on track?

I use a Pomodoro timer to keep up a good flow and remember to take breaks! This is what I use the most:

I should set it up on my tablet as well. I think it's really cool to see how many hours I have actually put into drawing! Last year I clocked in well over 3k hours, ahaha!

How to catch me?

Right now I have great difficulty managing replies, but usually you can reach me by DMs! I check Discord and Twitter the most often! However I must ask you to respect my current DNI status. It means I am really overwhelmed so I wish nobody comes asking for my attention until it has been lifted, unless it's really necessary. I really love talking to you all but I also have to accept and deal with my own limits strictly like this or it won't work out.

What am I working on at the moment?

Besides the holiday set I have several short comics under works as well as one big comic (100+ pages!). That one is my personal greatest goal! I started working on it in June 2022 and I have currently 40+ pages sketched and 60+ thumbnailed.

I was afraid of starting any comic projects before submas, but the sheer excitement over them carried me over that personal wall ahah!

The story's beginning and end are looking good and somewhat functional but there's still a lot to work to do and holes to fill in the middle before I dare to start fleshing out the pages. I have little experience in writing or comic making so I hope you forgive if some things don't make sense or the dialogue is a little on the nose so to say ahah!

The story will be packed with action with the overall tone being on the darker side, but it sure won't be lacking in humor! The project's main goal is to make it a celebration of all things submas & to prove to myself I can handle a big scale project despite my shortcomings!

All I Want for Christmas Is...

Squealing Santa 2022 Moriarty The Patriot - Sherlock x William

Summary: While decorating the house for Christmas, Sherlock notices something is off and helps William cheer up ~

Sherlock pressed his eyes close before slowly opening them, blinking a few times as he tried to adjust his sight to the dim brightness of the room. The detective shifted his position on the couch, moving his body under the blanket as he tried to get a glimpse of what surrounded him.

He had spent another night in William’s place. After managing to find him and make contact with the professor once again, visiting him was almost a habit of his by now. However, due the distance between the two of them, he would end up having to stay overnight before going back to England and, as an excuse to stay at the professor’s place, he would always claim to forget booking a room in a local hotel or inn.

This time, in particular, he was staying way longer than just a few days. All under the saying that “no one should spend Christmas alone” and making sure the blonde would understand that also applied to him.

As he sat down on the couch, Sherlock scratched the back of his head, trying to understand the scene around William's living room. Boxes and bags all over the place, some opened and empty, some still closed. He moved his head from one side to the other, scanning the place and, then, he spotted it: a tall and fairly large Christmas tree standing next to one of the corners of the room.

Were all these boxes and the tree enough to make him question what was going on, Sherlock stopped the professor, sitting next to the tree while he slowly hung small decorations on the lower branches, humming a song as his fingers carefully did the work.

“Liam?” Sherlock muttered shocked, doubting the reality before his eyes. Regardless of his surprise, the detective couldn’t help but smile as the blonde looked at him for a moment, staring at him for a few seconds before looking back at the tree again.

“I see you are already awake, my friend,” William commented, trying to feign ignorance and acting like Sherlock wasn’t glaring at the scene as an excited puppy.

“And I thought you didn’t like Christmas,” the other continued, not paying attention to the attempt of changing the topic and starting to inspect the work he had already done on some other branches, gently moving his hand between the decorations. William, on the other side, tried to keep his reactions low, but a proud smile managed to slip through his control, already feeling praised by Sherlock’s awe.

Taking a moment before looking up, William waited for Sherlock to finish the inspections before speaking. “I never said I didn’t like Christmas, I just told you I wasn’t going to do anything just for myself,” the professor lowered his eye, looking at the snowman decoration he had between his fingers, carefully pulling the string to hang it on the tree, “but since you don’t seem to be leaving anytime soon, I thought it would be a good idea to prepare something.”

“Hah, well, I’m impressed, Liam,” Sherlock chuckled, “maybe surprised would be a better definition. When did you have time to prepare all that?”

“Oh, don’t you waste your flattering words on me, it’s not like it’s ready. In fact, I started setting it up not long ago. I had to be careful to not be noisy and end up waking you up,” he added, picking another decoration up and, then, choosing a branch to place it.

That sentence made a pinch of embarrassment spark inside Sherlock for some reason, but the detective quickly shrugged it off, deciding to join his friend. The detective walked away for a second and reached for one of the closed boxes, opening it with ease before bringing it back with him, closer to the tree. “Let me help you, then,” Sherlock muttered, picking up one of the decorations.

As if expecting this kind of behavior from the other, the blonde simply smiled and remained quiet. ‘Predictable’, he thought to himself, now getting on his knees instead of sitting down on the floor, so he could reach some higher places.

The two men continued to work in a comfortable silence. Other than a few words such as “can you toss that to me?” or “can you hold this for me?”. the two of them didn’t say much to each other while that simple tree slowly became a Christmas one.

As they were closer to finishing the decorations, Sherlock decided to try to break the ice again and start another conversation with William. “Is it the first time you decorate a tree like this?”

“Of course not,” the blonde muttered, looking at the detective with the corner of his eyes. “When I was a kid, my brothers and I used to do this every year. Decorate the tree, the house… even write letters and leave cookies for Santa. Albert insisted that we should keep decorating our place each year, so I suppose they might have done it this year too.”

“It must’ve been adorable,” Sherlock muttered, with an amused smile on his face.

“I beg your pardon?” William said back, a hint of a mischievous intention in his voice, as if he wanted to make the other aware that he was loud enough for him to hear his words.

“You, Liam,” but, much to the professor’s surprise, his words didn’t make the detective take his statement back or flustered him in any way. In fact, it only made him shamelessly complete the sentence, “you, as a kid, must have been adorable.”

William looked away after the compliment, avoiding eye contact with the other man as he finished hanging the last decoration. The action didn’t pass unnoticed to Sherlock, who raised his eyebrows in surprise.

With the last piece in place, William took a few steps back to admire the tree, from the bottom to the top.

“There is one thing left to do,” Sherlock said, breaking the silence and already standing next to William, with a golden star in his hands, waiting for the professor to pick it up. And so he did.

After approaching the tree and getting on the tip of his toes, he carefully moved his arms up, using both hands to slowly place the star on top of the tree. Such a simple act, yet, so many memories came back to his head at that moment. The sight of him and his brothers playing together, opening up the gifts… for a moment, a sad smile took place in William’s face. And that slight and small act didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks to Sherlock, the peace and nostalgic feeling of that moment didn’t last long.

Before William could process, a pair of hands climbed up from his sides to his ribs, making the blonde shoot his arms down in reflex to the feeling.

“Come on, you should be happy, we did it! Why aren’t you smiling, Liam? ~” Sherlock spoke, louder than he probably should, before bringing William down to the floor with him as his fingers tweaked and poked his ribs.

“Shehe-Sherlohock!! WhahAHat- nohOho, lehehet go!” William protested, trying to somehow get a hold on the detective’s wrists, jumping and squirming on top of the other’s lap like a live fish out of the water. What an embarrassing sight, he thought while giggles kept coming out of his mouth.

But the detective gladly ignored the request, trying to press his fingers a little to move in between each bone, moving one leg over Willian’s to keep the other in place as he continued to tickle him. “Oh please, isn’t this better than keeping frowning all the time?”

Sherlock had to be careful to not get hit as William threw his head back in laughter, but smiled fondly when he noticed how the professor was slowly stopping to resist, letting a more carefree laugh while one of the detective’s hands traveled down to tickle his side again.

“I wahAHahasn’t f-frohow- ahaha, plehehease!” The blonde cried out, pressing his arms against his torso as much as he could to try to stop Sherlock from moving his fingers further up. He greeted his teeth in an attempt to hold his laughter, turning his face away from the detective. “E-enohOHohough!”

“I’m not sure… For me, you still look kind of sad, look, you even have watery eyes,” he teased, having to pull William back into his lap as the other was almost managing to squirm away. Once he was back into his reach, the detective brought both his hands back to the blonde’s stomach, resuming to tickle him.

“I’m n-not sahaAHad!” William protested, but all he could hear was a little chuckle coming from behind and not a single sign that the tickling was about to stop.

Sherlock’s fingers eventually managed to find their way inside William’s shirt, gently dragging his nails over the skin of his lower stomach and, consequently, melting the other into a puddle of renewed laughter.

As the minutes passed by, a reddish tone took over the professor’s face, lacking strength to keep squirming and fighting back. Also aware of these details, Sherlock did his part and eased the tickling, leaving the other lightly giggling on his lap.

“I’m not sure… if this is the right thing to say”, Sherlock broke the “silence”, tilting his head to look at William and moving his hands away, “but I’m glad to be able to spend this time with you, I mean… by ourselves.”

“Despite your peculiarities,” William chuckled at his ironic comment, sitting down and taking a deep breath before continuing, “I’m thankful for having you here. But it’s still a shame that I didn’t have time to look for a proper gift,” he muttered, looking at the detective and smiling.

The last part earned another laugh from Sherlock, who shook his head and approached him, pulling him into a hug, “Oh, please, that’s easy. All I want for Christmas is… you, Liam”, he finished, with a cheeky smile.

“Where did that even come from?” The blonde giggled, slowly wrapping his arms around the other.

“From a song I heard somewhere… Merry Christmas, Liam.”

“Merry Christmas, Sherlock.”

[i'm the anon from earlier] tbh I have no idea how I found you or if I followed you before I started watching mlb!! I follow people rather impulsively and I’ve been on Tumblr forever so it’s hard to tell sometimes but your posts are bangers and I’d reblog them all if I weren’t shy

I started watching mlb because I was binging another show that had come out earlier this summer and I wanted it to last me a bit longer so I thought “oh, mlb is on Netflix, I once had a mutual obsessed with it in 2016, might as well watch a few episodes in between eps of the other show” and well, here we are, three months later 🤠

It had nothing to do with the movie coming out or the Season 5 finale, I only found out about the recency of these when I tried to watch the entirety of season 5 on Disney+ and. there were only 8 episodes. it was two in the morning. I was upset

Oh my god we’re both new-ish??? this is so crazy. i love how u started watching the show. i should think about what random mutuals of mine were into in 2016 too and randomly decide to watch those shows. SPEAKING OF NETFLIX i saw the show summary they gave once like yknow ‘as teenagers, she’s in love with him and he’s oblivious. as superheroes he’s in love with her and she’s annoyed’ LIKE I WONT LIE. i think they slayed that!!!!! mlb is not on netflix in my country btw. its on disney plus tho!! which is where i first binged the show HEHE like july 2022!! been over a year since i first started watching time truly does fly

i started watching mlb because i saw people talking about the s5 lovesquare flip and this was before it happened (ultimately it did not turn out how other people were discussing it) i was seeing tweets like OLD LOVE SQUARE -> NEW LOVE SQUARE and it went from omg chat noir loves ladybug and marinette loves adrien and well all the damn arrows to um marichat being a thing?? and i saw a mutual of mine qrt like ‘yeah tbh marichat is prob the healthiest dynamic in the lovesquare so they should be dating’ and um. well. i wont give my opinion on that but I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT MARICHAT WAS DATING OR SOMETHING AND THAT ID SEE A LOVESQUARE FLIP. so i was like. man this show sounds absolutely insane. and so i clicked on it

AND I LIKED IT A LOT. so i kept watching. and here i am now. june-july 2022 michelle was tricked. marichat is not an established couple. its adrienette. which well. it is what it is. me being me i dont want any pairing established bc i think complicated situations are fun ^_^

i totally get u being upset when there were only 8 episodes in s5 tbh. BUT IMAGINE ME REALIZING S5 HAD STARTED BUT THERE WERE ONLY TWO EPISODES AND GLOOB WAS THE ONE WHO DROPPED THEM. i was like. what the fuck is this. i mean im watching them they are so fun but. why am i suffering. and here i am now!!!

Happy New Year! The first KazuHoku moment of the year :D

New Year's Eve 2022 Here's a little script I wrote on what I think telepathically went down between Kazuma and Hokuto (and The Rampage lol) moments before welcoming the new year together. I haven't had any peace this whole new year's day because this thing was rattling in my head bugging me to be written lol. Scene: The Rampage are in their green room, finished with their last show of the year and are about to greet the coming year in style.  Kazuma is fidgeting with his phone doing whatever the fuck he's doing when he finally looks up to laugh with Riku on his left while NONCHALANTLY reaching out to Hokuto on his right, WITHOUT LOOKING. This guy, lol trying to be all cool about it. Kazuma: All right, 2023 let's do this shit guys, hehe. Riku: HAHA you tryna be sneaky but I see you, HAHAHA. Hokuto: *waving his "2" balloon* Yaaaaay! Hokuto feels Kazuma's hand brush up against the back of his. Hokuto: Eh? Here? Right now? You sure about this~ hmm ok! Hokuto starts to open his palm fully towards Kazuma so Kazuma can have better access. Kazuma subconsciously grabs his hand like usual (so Kazuma seems to take the lead usually, huh? Hehe. Also, Hokuto, you give in way too easily to Kazuma hahaha) before he comes to his senses. Kazuma: *whips his head towards Hokuto* What the - dude no, not right now! Hokuto: *pauses visibly* Eh? Why not? You don't want to? *cue his sparkly eyes looking sadly down at their entwined hands* Kazuma: *falters a bit* D-damn it, why are you so effin cute? *grabs Hokuto's sleeve instead* Later, bro, later. Hokuto: *is happy again* Yaaay! And you guys might think I'm delusional BUT. WATCH TAKKUN. Boy directly placed the "0" on KazuHoku's hands like a magnifying glass, probably by mistake, and saw them FLIRTING, it was too much so he had to turn away. Watch him turn away!! Takkun: Hehe yeeee new year's almost here!! Welcome Home Sleepy Head

Hi my sweet little girl,

We’ve had you home with us for a month now, can you believe it? Everyone was so excited to meet you and were waiting for you in the hospital lobby for me and dada to come down. Can you guess who was the most excited? If you guessed brother, you are correct :) He loves you so much, baby girl. The poor little guy is sick (he has been catching colds since September) and we have to keep telling him to keep his distance and wash his hands. All he wants to do is hold you, kiss you, give you toys, sing to you, talk to you, make sure you’re fed and warm. I pray to our Heavenly Father that the love you two have for each other will grow and continue for the rest of your lives.

Well, the past month has flown by and has been a huge blur (could be due to my sleep deprivation hehe). For the majority of the time, you’ve been sleeping. You’re the sleepiest little thing ever haha My wish seems to have come true, as I prayed for a baby who would get my sleep genes and not dada’s. Haha I can sleep anywhere and anytime. I absolutely love sleep. I’d say it’s one of my hobbies, one that I haven’t gotten to do much of, over the past four years haha Your second favorite thing to do is eat nat nat. You definitely have a good appetite and you’re growing very fast because of it. We can already see that you will be a bolita like brother used to be. Nursing has been a breeze with you. The first week was of course painful on my nipples but then we got the hang of it and your latch has been perfecto! You empty my boobies very well and get some nice long naps in. Now the only issue is that my milk seems to be making you gassy and makes you have silent reflux. I’m going to see if it could be due to my diet. I’ll be cutting out dairy soon to see if it helps at all. Because of the reflux, we have to burp and hold you upright for about 30 mins after you’re done feeding, otherwise you make lots of grunting sounds and get a huge gassy belly which I can imagine must be so painful for you :(

Baby girl, you’re a little adventurer already. At only four weeks old you’ve been to four parks, the snow, the ice skating rink, California adventure, brothers soccer class, and probably some other places I can’t remember (thanks to my sleepy mom brain). I can’t wait to continue taking you on more fun adventures sweetie. You seem to enjoy being out, you get very calm when we have you lay outside and look at the nature all around you. This is a good sign, since both brother and I like being out and about. You’ll fit right in. Oh what about dada, you say? Well, that guy is a 100% homebody, but we drag him out with us too. He fusses a lot, but in the end he’s happy to have participated :)

We all love you so much baby girl. You’re a cutie. You make lots of cute noises. Grunting, squeaking, squealing, crying, sad cries (they make us sad because you sound so desperate), and farts of course :)

Oh by the way, you’ve pooped in your baby potty twice already ;) hehehe

I will try to update your little blog as often as possible, baby Lil (as brother calls you). Until then, I leave you with a wonderful verse from the Bible. (which you will learn a lot about over the years.)

wow, i'm sooo good at procrastinating. hehe hi pals, hope you're all doing great! i swear i promised myself i'll write the Dec post on Dec 31st, 2022, but i managed to post this one on Jan 1st, 2023 :-) oh well.

don't blame me for spending quality time with my family and cousins for the new year's eve! i got distracted (again, for the 28648236th time) it was so fun, with my mum's guidance we cooked our favourite spicy Tom Yum, penne bolognese, and kimchi fried rice!!! yes, it was a Thai-Italian-Korean meals day kind of thing.

then as we count down the last hours of 2022 we did the family tradition: horror films marathon! this time we're exploring/rewatching Indonesian horror films. we got KKN Desa Penari, Pintu Terlarang, Modus Anomali, and then Pengabdi Setan 2. yes, in this house we love Joko Anwar's works.

in the last five minutes of 2022 we got up, stretched, went outside, and played with some firecrackers! purposely turned off the garden lights so it'd shone brighter. took photos and videos, then we went back inside. being in the middle of the city, on midnight the noise of fireworks shooting up to the sky was loud. it didn't stop for a whole fifteen minutes, but we enjoyed it: free entertainment!

sleep time yet? nope. it's indomie time!!! we watched a few episodes of How I Met Your Mother and Raven's Home for good ol' times' sake. had more talks, then at 3 AM we all went to bed. went without saying, we woke up pretty late today hehe.

i'm going backwards here because after that Dec 31st review, now let's talk about December in general. as usual, as predicted, it was a-ok month, just like any other month. i think the highlight that is the Labuan Bajo trip is already covered in the November post. on second week of December i had a scientific forum meeting and i got to see some of my Weekend Ceria besties! it was a bit of a funny coincidence that our little reunion was just a little bit over one year anniversary of our national dentist board exam day... though now each of us is so busy with our own work, it's getting super hard to find time for us to meet u___u

on last week of December my favorite Brisbane-based cousin came home to Indonesia for a three-weeks vacay! so happy to see her again and this time i get to meet her boyfriend (which after a lengthy session of interrogation i found is so nice and so in tune with me, so he passed my test haha) and we're planning a cousins sleepover this first week of January (will do write the story on the next post!) still kinda sad though because another favorite cousin of mine just moved to Frankfurt a few months back and he said he won't be coming back to Indonesia for approximately five years. the cherry on top is getting another cousin i haven't met in so long to join us in this little gathering!

overall this month i get to spend a lot of time with my family and cousins, which energized me to the fullest. 2022 has been nice to me and i'm so excited with what 2023 has to offer. i have no room in my life other than for these people, my loved ones, my immediate family. again and again i'm so grateful for my mum and dad, the solid rock and pillar and foundation of my life, that are always there for me, no matter what and when, in the most literal sense. late night talks with my mum and alone dates with my dad are my talisman, i carry their light, i have them with me wherever i go.

this year i'm so glad to finally know and learned which ones to keep, when to walk away, put healthy and respectable boundaries, to fight and try again, and to keep on going despite all. to finally know what i want and look for, and to never be sorry to save myself first. to do good and be good. to believe and trust time and Allah's plans, whatever is mine will find its way to me, sooner or later.

so, happy new year to you lot! wishing 2023 to bring us all only good things and happy days all year round. especially for you, the one and only you, over there across the world, just like how i've told you so many times over eighteen long years we've been best friends: i hope you're always happy, healthy, and loved.

"Thoughtful," he says with a smile. "A present?"

"I thought you'd be curious," the Batman responds, before saying your name. "I've shown her already. She found it creative."

A dangerous glint slices through the Joker's stare, and he grits his teeth as he grins, shaking his head.

"Mm. Well, that's not fair, is it? See, I never get the luxury of seeing my girlfriend. The guards, they don't wanna... they're avoiding mayhem. They know that if one's with the other, something might just... blow. You know?"

The Batman doesn't respond, but he knows very well what Joker's referring to. He knows that you two were separated for a reason. The Joker causes chaos wherever he goes, but when he met you, it was only another reason to go crazier. He's in love in a whole different way than your average couples are, madly protective and obsessive. He's killed for you time and time again, and he'll keep doing it, no matter where you are. Anything, doll.

So when you two were finally caught, and while J waits for the near, perfect timing to break out of the asylum, they make sure you're apart. Thinking it's a good solution to keep order and control in the madhouse, but really, all it's doing is driving the Joker increasingly frustrated that he can't see your pretty face every day, watch you shoot up buildings for the fun of it with him, chat with you and make jokes late at night, make out against bloodied walls.

Soon, he'd be able to grant his wish, but for now, the fact that Batman had seen you before he did was... a bad joke.

"It's going to happen sometime, though, isn't it?" Joker continues, cackling thoughtfully. "Queenie can't be kept in a cage for much longer, can she? Pretty girl..."

The Joker pauses suddenly, leaning in closer as he stares Batman in the eye. "What'd you talk about, hm?"

"Here's an idea," Joker perks up, resting his head on a dry bloody hand. "She can tell me she'd appreciate my perspective herself, can't she? You give me five minutes with her, and I give you five minutes of killer to killer knowledge, huh? Fair?"

The Batman considers it, glaring at the Joker in annoyance. It's not a good idea, not at all, but he needs all the leads he can get at this point. You couldn't do much when you were confined in Arkham Asylum anyway, could you?

Tommi was super and soo friendly and I honestly didn't expect that from him! I didn't even need to ask for him a just grabbed me and hugged me 😭 Obviously, you can see I was waaayy too short to take the picture so I asked him, but he still kinda struggled to take it lmaooo. When he signed my phone and handed it back to me (I can't remember exactly what he was telling me lmao) he looked at me so seriously and intensely YET SO SWEET???!!!

I feel because I haven't been actually happy in so long, it felt kind of uncomfortable and overwhelming, also was so happy I met him, but at the same time I barely remembered it and just cried like I never cried before lmaoo

Hm, the beginning of the new year has been... Hectic already. Lots of work, lots of projects. Don't get me wrong, I love my job! I've been spending a lot of time at the studio, catching up with things and meeting new people- Ah, talking about people! I've noticed some good friends have gone lately, I just want to take a moment to wish them well. Wherever they are and whatever they're doing. I guess a lot of us have been busy lately, it's sometimes hard to balance well the things we enjoy with out responsibilities-. We also grow out of things, don't we? It's both sad but also rewarding somehow if you think about it. Anyway, it's always a little shame to see people go, but it'd always nice to see new people come around too! I guess, since I wasn't here to cheer on the new years, I can do it now.

Let's cheer for the new year and new beginnings. I hope 2022 treats everyone well.

Uh... I found this little idiot on the street earlier today when I left the club- Almost gets run over by a car. I looked around for his mom or owners but couldn't find anyone looking for him. Was gonna take him to a shelter but he kinda wouldn't let go of me when I brought him into the car so... I brought him home instead. Meet Comet I guess.
