We have fancy height charts for the Arranged Marriage AU now!

Also some updated headcanons because, of course, once I shared the first thoughts I changed them.

Unfortunately the height comparison thing I found maxed out at ten people at a time (the best option I found) so we have two seperate sets, one is basically just "the couples" and the other is "everyone else" with both having the tallest and shortest for comparison/contextualization.

Breakdown once again, under the cut

Lizzie: Now has two seperate forms, both are the tallest person. Her full Blue Axolotl Sea Monster/Mermaid form is the 10' one, with a smaller version that can walk on land and is approximately 7'6" tall. Either way, no one is as tall as she is. Bow before the queen.

Jimmy: Depending on what form he is in is either the second tallest or smack in the middle of the height pack. Cod Merman!Jimmy is ~7', Cod Hybrid!Jimmy (If that distinction makes any sense) is just under 6'2". (This is the difference then being taller/longer than Scott or shorter than Scott) The point about his absolute beanpole-ness and general disaster prone-ness negating his height advantage stands.

Xornoth: My thoughts on them have probably changed the least. Still six and a half feet tall, still (usually) no horns, still absolutely hits their head on doorways because they're used to elvish architecture which allows for being over six foot.

Scott: Still 6'4". Nothing's really changed here.

Pearl: Farmer Queen has been nudged up a bit and is now 6'1", still buff as hell and not scared of you at all. She is the tallest of the main Wither Rose Alliance and we love that for her.

Fwip: 6' flat, he's taller than Sausage and that is all that matters.

Sausage: Is now 5'11" he shrunk just a bit rip

Pix: I shrunk him a bit too. He's the tall side of 5'10" now.

Joel: Still 5'7", literally comes up to Lizzie's hip when she's in Ocean Queen form and not even to her shoulder at her shortest. He sits on her throne sometimes and his feet don't reach the floor.

Gem: 5'6", the shortest of the core Wither Rose Alliance.

Joey: 5'5", tends to wear heels that put him closer to 5'10"/5'11"

Katherine: 5'2", does often hover a bit, taking advantage of the fact that she is one of the two with natural wings to look her fellow rulers in the eye.

Shrub Berry: canonically 4’3”. So very very small. Will go for the kneecaps without hesitation.

awkward monday upload: my 4t2 conversion of @syboubou's little dino kids set... but almost completely redone, with a bunch of quality of life fixes! those include: no more annoying vignette crunchiness on the deco objects, no more t-posing plushies, and no more giant texture sizes!

major changes have been listed below the cut, but suffice to say that i've been dissatisfied with my conversion of this set for ages and was inspired to redo it when i saw an anon ask @freezerbunny-sims2 got some months ago. i'm considering this a redux and not an update, since the older set isn't specifically 'broken', just not up to my standards. you can't have both though, as they use the same guids!

Things to Note

'T-Rex the Rex, but Tinier' is repo'd to 'T-Rex the Rex'.

Diplo toy is not decorative, it can be played with like a regular toy from the toybox!

'Dresser' and 'Dresser Small' are a hallway table and endtable, with the smaller version being repo'd to the larger.

'Ivy Bed Decor' and 'Bed Blanket' must have moveobjects and snaptogrid off to be placed.

I had redone Pulsar's Chart. I wasn't very haply with her look anymore. While it fit in thr au I had created her in, it doesn't fit in this one anymore. So, I changed her look up a bit and her clothes by alot and some other details.

What are you guys thoughts on this updated version of her?

This post is a little different from ones I usually do, but~... A friend and I noticed recently when reading "Are You Alice?" again, that this sketched height chart available in the closing pages of the final volume--

Doesn't seem to add up in terms of the gaps we can observe between characters-- So, for a little something fun (and to get some answers lol), we decided to recalculate their heights based around the gaps we can see here-- Which landed us with these measurements:

Using the Queen and Jack as our starting points-- partly because we liked the different between them with these estimates lol-- But also, because they seemed to be the "most correct" based off comparing the heights listed.

And I thought I'd post it here, just in case anyone might find it useful u w u

First up, I'd like to say that this wasn't done thanks to any intention to say "canon is wrong" or something like that-- Not really anyway-- But more so, just in the interest of finding a solution for what seemed to possibly be an error or oversight.

Secondly, I fully admit that our height measurements might be off as well-- But we did make an effort to base them well enough off distance from one head to the next. And lastly, while I haven't converted either these redone heights into centimeters-- nor the originals into feet/inches-- I did make this cleaned version featuring the original cm heights:

*Added note(s): The Queen's height here was calculated based on the assumptions that he's; 1) wearing heeled boots here-- and 2) that said heels are around 3 inches high-- So in fact, he'd be a bit shorter than shown here if he were barefoot/in flatter shoes.

hi, sorry to bother but I have a problem with the mmbn artbook and the anime Production Art, how tall is zero.exe in comparation to others? also the wiki don't have the Height list to human and navis, can be added in a future? thanks for the response and insert meme about sorry bad eng. lol

Hello anon, No bother at all.

Unfortunately, of the 3 Zero virus production art sheets I own and have posted, none of them have any height comparison notations on them. Nor do I have a height chart from Beast+ that contains Zero on it. So until something like that is found, we can only estimate. While Zero's not in the OCW's Transmission character height comparison, Ishihara noted that they didn't get too specific, so some Navis were different sizes in different illustrations. So we'll have to take the actual size in stride. But from in-episode screencaps, this is my best guess for you:

In the real world, he often was close to the same height as the Professor. It seems that Zero is about an extra head size (or a little more) taller than CF Enzan and Netto. Enzan is supposed to be about a half-head size taller than Netto, according to my anime height charts. Here's a couple caps of them close to being at the same level on a flat surface:

Best estimate:

In the OCW, Blues is similar in height difference to Rockman. From EXE 1, Blues is listed at 161 cm to Rockman's 148 cm. You can see Zero seems a little taller in comparison to the Navis, than he was in comparison to the CF humans.

Looks like about 2 Rockman heads taller?

So I would say you could estimate he's between Fireman to Skullman size, 188-213 cm. Maybe???

As far as your question about the wiki adding height charts/information: Well...I have nothing to do with updating the wiki. ^^;

Some of my scans (OK, I mean, probably a lot of them) have been uploaded by people who do update or contribute to it, but it has never been my doing. Never bothered me, as they were giving me credit, and my scanning is to help provide this neat artwork for all to see, rather than have it be lost. In due time, I'm sure someone will be updating with my cleaner, updated scans, as I get more redone. But that person has never been me. LOL

Until then, you can just browse the 'Height Chart' tag or keyword search on my blog for what I have.

Ben 10 (Original Series) - Model Pack Image by Poe Tan + Analysis (Max Prototype?)

This image is very interesting. Let’s start with the elephant in the room: Max’s design. 

The first image comes from the Comic-Con 06 art book. 

The Max model used in the middle has the facial scruff dummied out, but he seems to have a bit of hair on his arms now. 

Compared to the final, while largely the same, has some notable differences. The face has been redone from Dave’s original version, the shirt has less detail (such as the buttons, and the ends of the sleeves), and the flower pattern is somewhat different. Other notable things about this include the fact that it’s using a background from “Washington B.C.”, same episode from the Test Shots. However, in the test shots, Max is using his final design. Perhaps he was the first Tennyson to be finalized in the design process. 

With this, we can create something of a timeline of when the Tennysons were finalized in terms of design. 1. All three enter the design process at roughly the same time. 2. Max gets finalized first, as evident by the test shots. 3. Ben gets finalized second, as evident by a small height chart that seems to use his proper design. 4. On that height chart, Gwen is using her final design, but her shirt is red and yellow. So she was finalized last.

This is a custom embroidery design featuring the characters Reaper and Soldier76 in chibi style from the video game franchise Overwatch.

Soldier: 76 was designed using a top-down approach, where developers started with the flavor/story/art side of the subject and built mechanics around it. The original concept was pitched by Chris Metzen, and the team instantly got onboard. From there, lead concept artist Arnold Tsang, Metzen and art director Bill Petras worked together to finalize a character concept. By this stage, the developers had the idea of making 76 a “normal rifle guy,” in regards to his gameplay style. Few problems were encountered during development, and only his heal ability changed. It was intended that he be easy for players from other FPS games to play, allowing them to ease into Overwatch before moving onto more exotic heroes. Metzen leveraged Soldier: 76 as a “fulcrum point” of the story/setting. He is said to represent Overwatch at its greatest.

The character of Reaper was inspired entirely by concept art for the game—his actual character was developed after his appearance was presented. Under Overwatch’s original leveling system, Reaper’s wraith form would give him healing abilities once he reached a certain level. Reaper once had a slimmer design with a mask that was more human looking and dual wielded SMGs.

Our Taste Of Walmart Weddings & Custom T-shirt - Week Recap

And to top it off, the Taste of Niagara Falls on Sunday. Yes, it’s been one unbelievable week!

We have been home exactly one week from our trip to Virginia Beach and as I write, I simply just miss the warmth Virginia had to offer. With that being said, hoodie weather is upon us and it’s one of Peggy and my favorite time of the year!

I am going to start something exciting, and that is writing these blog posts out. I have been working more and more on my writing skills and I felt that it would be awesome to have the chance to relay our exciting moments. This gives us a chance to connect to those that are interested and it offers me a reason to pursue writing and exchanging ideas/thoughts through content and show off some of our custom t-shirt designs. If you ever have any input, questions or want to add your input, please feel free to comment away!

Last Saturday, the 26th of August, we were pulling into the driveway from the long drive back to NY around 10am. We anticipated this day to be an interesting one before we even left for Virginia. To give a little more insight, less than one week before leaving for Virginia, both of our heat presses ended up malfunctioning/breaking down. Pretty exciting stuff! New presses were ordered and had been delivered while we were gone. This was to make sure when we got home, we could start knocking out orders that we had taken before leaving and on vacation.

Early in the week, we ran production and completed the custom t-shirt orders we had on had, there were about 4-5 hoodies, 15-20 custom t-shirt, a few puzzles and a handful of ornaments to get done before we were “caught up”. This doesn’t include the large wedding seating arrangements mirror we had been putting together in between. I can’t wait to share photos of how beautiful that came out! (Have to wait until after the wedding)

Wednesday & Thursday, I was able to catch up on a lot of the website layout and add more products to our store. The website building has been an extremely long and drawn out process for us. For those who aren’t aware or didn’t notice, while we were on vacation, the website was completely redone. In simple terms, I “factory reset” our website and started back at scratch. I chose to start over because our website was being designed for desktop use and not mobile. I honestly didn’t even put any thought into the mobile aspect until it felt like I was too far into the design to go back. Although changing the design over to a mobile first design was possible, sometimes it’s easier to start fresh somewhere than it is to try and fix problem after problem. It’s a huge trip to me that our website has been one of the biggest constant struggles for us considering I love web design and I’ve done a handful of other company websites/blogs and e-commerce stores. The way I see it, it’s always harder to create your own, anything. Like an architect creating their own home, I’m sure it never seems ‘perfect’, but when it comes to building someone else’s, easy peasy. None-the-less, our website is coming along great, the front page is still giving me grief but I’m confident that I will find a layout and fill it with sections that looks great, I just need to keep plugging away and find what works.

Friday was awesome! We had a few more orders to complete and I had a chance to rearrange our work area. It was long(week) overdue since we came back to new presses and had inventory come in that we didn’t get to moving around yet. About 3 in the afternoon, we received a call from the Lockport Walmart Supercenter asking if we could brand some tablecloths for them. Of course, we can! After hanging up the phone with them, PeggyJo shot over to Walmart to scoop up the tablecloths and to talk over the quote. Within 45 minutes, Peggy was back home with a huge box of tablecloths! We didn’t have a whole lot of time to talk about the new gig as we were already running late to a wedding rehearsal which took up most of the remaining evening.

I’m writing this Saturday morning, as we have a wedding to attend today around 3 and then tomorrow, we will be at the Taste of Niagara Falls! I don’t expect to have much free time to type something like this out in the next two days, but for the following weeks, I aim to post these recaps each Sunday with photos of the custom t-shirt orders through the week.

We are very excited for the Taste of Niagara Falls since we have never been to it as a taster or a vendor. It’s a completely new experience for us and we hope to make a lot of new connections. We really enjoy just telling people about what we do. It’s great seeing peoples faces and reactions to the products we create. Although we don’t have the room to bring everything, we bring enough to really show off our cool stuff. We bring a few puzzles, plaques and a bunch of signs that we have created. Along with the sublimation items, we, of course, bring a bunch of t-shirts! We aim to double our sales with our Pizza & Beer design and we are bringing more “Sorry for what I said when I was HANGRY” design. Both of these t-shirt designs were great attention grabbers and conversation starters.

Let’s talk about MEP’s, baby.

It’s 9 am and I get a phone call from my recruiter. My second choice MOS had come available and he reserved it for me. I have 7 days to go up to MEPs, pass the physical, sign a contract and swear in. I was shaking with nothing but nervous energy. I’ve come so far in this process to where I honestly had lost all of my motivation and was questioning everything and trying to decide if I even wanted to enlist after all.

I agreed to go up to MEPs even though I was unsure, because I was finally having a chance I had been working towards so I figured I’d take it and pray to god that this is what was meant to happen. From the moment I was offered this MOS, I had this strange feeling in my gut that something wasn’t going to go right. So I obviously held myself from being excited about going because my gut hasn’t failed me yet, so better safe than sorry. 

Tried contacting my recruiter the next day to find out everything I needed to take to MEPs and he didn’t answer. Strange, right? I decided to just ask my friends who have enlisted and gone through the MEPs process before and felt confident in their information. So I waited until Monday, the day before I was heading up to MEPs, and I get a text from my recruiter saying to go to the office that afternoon and talk with the 1st Sgt. 

No big deal, I go in, my recruiter is no where to be found. The 1st Sgt didn’t even know why I was coming into the office. So I explained how I didn’t know what I was supposed to do for tomorrow or what I needed to bring. He was shocked my recruiter hadn’t told me anything. Apparently my recruiter went on leave the day after he reserved my spot and didn’t even bother letting me know I would need to ask another recruiter for information he should have given me. 

One of the other recruiters sits down with me and gives me the MEPs brief and is in shock at how my recruiter didn’t even bother giving me the details of my MOS, where I would be going for basic training, when I would be leaving for basic training or where I would be going for AIT. You know that gut feeling I had before? Yeah, figured out what it was for. My projected ship date was only FOUR WEEKS out. Instant panic set in because I am no where near where I need to be physically, especially with running, to make it through basic training. 

I acted calm and collected and only panicked on the inside. Finished out the brief, got all of the information I needed. The recruiter stressed that if I didn’t swear in at MEPs or got kicked back for some reason, I would need to call them and let them know and then find my own ride back from phoenix instead of taking the shuttle they sent me up on.  

Tuesday comes and I’m at the recruiting office with my bag and paperwork ready to go. I go through another briefing, basically going over everything I had put down medically on my paperwork, when apparently my recruiter once again, left information out. By now it was too late to fix it because it had already been sent up to MEPs. I discussed some things with my mom and boyfriend who had dropped me off and were waiting for me to leave, and that gut feeling still hadn’t gone away. In fact, it was just getting worse. 

I get on the shuttle and we head up to Phoenix, there was about 7 of us on the shuttle. We go and get checked into our rooms and we’re assigned our roommates. My roommate was actually really cool. I had been worried I would get stuck with someone awful, but she was great. She was 17 and going into the Navy with hopes of getting Nuclear Engineering. Clearly she’s better at math than I am.

We went down to dinner and made friends with two of the girls on our floor, both of them were going Army like myself. If I took away anything from my entire MEPs experience, it was that I made some really cool new friends and learned to have a whole new level of patience, but we’ll get to that in a minute. 

After dinner we waited for the final briefing of the evening and then headed to our rooms since our wake up call was for 0400. Somehow I managed to actually pass out and get a good nights sleep. Next morning we checked out, grabbed a quick breakfast and headed to MEPs at 0500. 

We get off the bus and in double lines head into the building, we go through security and head over to the offices for the branch you’re there for. We hand over our paper work, grab our name tags and go to the check in station. Apparently a lot of my paperwork had incorrect information, my recruiter had managed to not only put down the wrong address but he managed to spell my name wrong repeatedly. Once we finished with that, they sent us upstairs to get our files and head into the medical briefing. 

They sent those of us going into the Army, down to the testing center to take the TAPAS test, basically to make sure we’re crazy enough to join the Army, but not too crazy to where we’ll lose our shit and kill someone. I go to head down to the testing center with one of my new friends and one of the nurses collects our file and sends us down. We get down to the testing center, and of course, we need our file that was taken from us. So we get sent over to the Army office to collect a form so we don’t have to go searching, again, for our file. We take the test and head back up to medical. 

We finish the briefing and they proceed to take our blood pressure and heart rate, mind you, I’ve just been going up and down stairs, I’m stressed and nervous. Plus, I’ve had to pee since 0400 because they told us to hold it until we went to UA to do the piss test. They take my blood pressure and it comes out perfect, but for some reason they say I need to go see one of the interviewing doctors because theres something wrong with my blood pressure. 

Strange right? Turns out, they messed up, I was supposed to have gone in to redo my heart rate. The nurse recorded my heart rate as 128bpm, anything 100+ is grounds to have it redone and if it doesn’t improve, you’re kicked off the floor and sent home. Well, the nurse tried to get me kicked off the floor before the doctor even redid my heart rate, she kept saying at how I needed a cardiologist consult and an EKG because something might be wrong with me, naturally making me worry. 

The doctor insisted on rechecking my heart rate and naturally it was 110bpm. He decides theres nothing wrong and I don’t need to be kicked off the floor and get to continue with the process. Next step after that was UA, I finally got to pee, or so I thought. Instead I get pulled in for the blood draw. Mind you I’m scared of needles so that wasn’t fun in the slightest. 

After that I finally got to pee, it was the longest piss of my life. Once I finished there and was approved, I got sent to hearing for the hearing test. After that I made my way over to vision. The same nurse who tried to kick me off the floor did my vision test, but I noticed she barely wrote anything down on my chart. 

After that she took me to another nurse and demanded that I needed an EKG, even though the doctor said I didn't need one. The nurse ran the first EKG and it came back abnormal, but they also didn’t change any of the information on the EKG to actually fit my profile. They had me listed as a 40 year old male. Two more EKG’s and they all say “abnormal rhythm.” 

Clearly that’s not a good sign, so I’m genuinely worried at this point that there could actually be something wrong with my heart, instead of kicking me off the floor like they're supposed to, they decide to send me in for the interview with the female doctor who determines if I pass the physical or not. 

After discussing my medical history with the doctor and her agreeing there wasn't anything wrong, she sends me on to the next step which was the various exercises and the rest of the physical. They lined me up in my bra and underwear and took my height and weight. I managed to lose 5lbs the week before running around at Disneyland, so I was stoked, but they measured me at 57in when I needed to be 58in to make the minimum height requirement for the Army. 

They didn’t say anything about my height being a problem, they just ignored it and continued with the physical. All of us girls did our physical and exercises and the doctor brought us in individually to the exam room to tell us if we were going to be able to swear in today or not. 

The doctor told me everything was on track, gave me my file and told me to go to the desk to proceed with swearing in. I get to the desk and they have me wait for about 10 minutes while they input all of my paperwork into the system. They called me over and said everything was in order and were about to hand me the paper to take to the Army office down stairs to sign a contract and swear in, but right as they were about to hand it over, they took it back and said I wouldn’t be able to enlist today.

They said I need to go to a cardiologist to have a consult and until then I’m being deferred, not disqualified. Which, wasn’t as bad as being disqualified, it just ultimately sucked because my MOS I had reserved was released and someone else picked it up. This meant I wouldn’t be going to basic training in 4 weeks, I wouldn’t be going in as a Human Resources Specialist with an $11,000 signing bonus. 

So I took myself down to the office and the liaison was super friendly and told me to call my recruiter to make sure I was set to come back on the shuttle. None of the recruiters answered my call. I called the office line directly and when I said who was calling they hung up. I received a text saying I needed to find my own ride back from Phoenix. I talked with the liaison and they made sure I had a spot on the shuttle back.

Halfway home I received another text saying I needed to go into the recruiting office the next day to speak with the 1st Sgt about what happened at MEPs. At this point I was just mad, frustrated and part of me actually felt sad even though I wasn’t sure that was what I wanted. 

I broke the news to my family who was mad and upset, yet some how felt that everything that had happened was my fault. The next day comes and my mom and I go to the office, and imagine that, only one recruiter was there and the 1st Sgt wasn't even in the office. He didn’t even show up to my appointment. I was pissed. The other recruiter tried to tell me that I was permanently disqualified and that they had me listed as being 4ft 7inches. 

Wrong. So wrong. I was measured in at 4ft 9inches when I needed to be 4ft 10inches. I tried to tell them that it was 100% possible to get a height waiver for 1 inch below standards, but they kept telling me I was making things up. It was incredibly clear that this recruiting office was no longer going to work for me. 

So here I am now, a little beaten down, stressed out and in search of a new recruiter who actually helps me and doesn’t mess up my paper work. I’m now trying to figure out what exactly it is that I want. I might consider switching branches all together, but until then, I’ve set up my appointment to get my heart checked out and once I have those results, I’ll either continue on the hunt for the right Army recruiter, or I’ll have figured out a new path I’ll take and see where it leads.
