one of thor’s favorite things while being intimate / having sex is when his partner starts speaking in their first language out of frustration and neediness cause he’s teasing them until they are absolute messes they can’t think straight . the best part is that because of his allspeak he can still perfectly understand what it is they are saying but will keep doing what he’s doing . they know full well he’ll give them what they need but only when he’s good and ready .

Toon yan reminds me of when the Warner brothers would go “hellooooooo nurse!!”

Just a random thought that I had :)

The toon winds their arms back, mallet raised over their shoulder and dead aimed on the comatose figure in the bed. Rat bastard - Even with his trap shut they couldn't stand the guy. Rage filled their core, skin boiling red in the fit of their anger. Why haven't they killed this pain yet?

"Mr. X? Are you awake?"

In comes reason number one now.

You walk into the room, checking over the patient who was fairing no better than he had when you last checked on him. You could've sworn you heard something coming from this room. And who turned on the TV? You go to turn it off, finding the gifts and letters his loved ones sent smashed and torn to pieces? What is going on around? Begrudgingly, you bend over to salvage whatever you could before you reported the disturbance.

Those legs... What a compelling case for that weasel's life. No better view in the hospital, and they couldn't let an innocent catch like come across the scene of the crime. Looking at his face with all his teeth intact was a fright enough. Day in and day out, you saunter your way into the room and their heart, blissfully unaware of those eyes watching you - mind blown you're able to look like an absolute treat in those robes. A nice pair of shorts slapped on those thighs and they'd be drooling.

The trail of shredded paper leads you to the TV. There, you find a paper heart fully intact amidst the heeps of handmade confetti. You stand up, inches from the screen. The cartoon playing shows the the main character readying their hammer to strike the bed of one of those strength test games at carnivals. You remembered something about the patient having ties with the company that made the show. Apparently he wasn't a big fan of it. Regardless of his opinion, you smile. The show had a nice style. The toon completely misses their swing. You turn off the TV and face the room door - a faint click passing your ear as it turns back on.

"Hellooo, nurse. Tried to keep myself away from ya, but then you had to go and show me that gorgeous smile you got."

I just read through your SOD au, and MAN is this stuff wild and grimey and so interesting.

Though I do want to know the other emperors opinions on Tumble Town and the sheriff if that's something you've got

apologies for the late response but I've been dealing with finals. There 4 main categories Jimmy puts the emperors in; friends, neutral, neutral-enemy and enemy

oli- Drinking buddy, "You play guitar??" Oli is pretty positive towards Jimmy but does worry for his serious attitude Sausage- Best friend, trauma buddy, <3, He cares for jimmy immensely but with their own shared trauma of losing their family and home he wants the other to find help Shubble- The two have an alliance built on helping eachother shubble with the school and jimmy with bandits. Shubble however is cautious of jimmy and is very aware of his temper False- Her biggest buyer of iron and the two have a cordual relationship. But she is also aware of how snippy/his general distaste is for most of the empire Pixl- Understands what Jimmy went through but wants to show that it is not his direct fault that tumble town was not well documented Gem- Slightly hurt by his hostility towards her. Their empires had the longest alliance with eachother and she wants to rebuild their reputations, but is aware it is too late Scott- Finds Jimmy very hot but is turned off with his serious nature and snippy attitude while at meetings. Definitely knows now not to joke about his hat and outfit. Lizzie- Tries to stay calm around him but something about him makes him stand on edge. She doesn't like staying in the same room as him Joey- "Hellooooooo nurse" Really wants to bone Jimmy but would never admit it bc he fears he will be shot in the face by all of tumble town. Finds the serious lone wolf vibe hot as well as a turn off, he is very confused Katherine- Doesn't understand how a man could stay bitter for over ten years. She swears the man is under his own curse but Jimmy always shoots her down. Wonders what it would be like to go hunting with him since he owns a rifle. Joel- Immense regret. He blames himself for Jimmy turning out like this because it is true. He wants to admit the truth about what happened to his empire but fears how it will ruin everything he has built with these emperors. He still sees jebediah in Jimmy. Fwhip- Had a massive crush on the man when they first met which got ruined when Jimmy nearly spat in his face. He believes the man is way too self centered and needs to be humbled. Doesnt want to be near him after Jimmy threw him to the ground once after grabbing his hat.

David gives me vibes that'd he'd be the most interested in Bree's fascination for monsters/creatures of the night- specifically her novels. I can just imagine he even knew a few older ones himself- of course he only ever skimmed through them and never sat down to read them thoroughly...👀

Paul and Marko sometimes fight like little cartoon characters over who gets her attention. You can't tell me otherwise. While she's 'checking them for injuries' these two are squabbling and hitting each other while her back is turned. It's even worse if she decides to hang out with them in her free time- they're fighting over who's bike she's riding, who she's going with on the rides, who's buying her the pretty thing she pointed out or the treat she thought looked good, it never ends. 💀

Dwayne is most likely the only one who wouldn't... Exactly 'lie' about his injuries, given sometimes accidents happen when he's working with mechanics and his bike, but they're nothing fatal or... You know... Something you need to see the doctor for. He'll use ANY excuse to go get checked up by the pretty nurse at the hospital, no matter how many times she tells him how it's nothing but a scratch, or a little bruise. He always just flashes a charming grin and says: "You can never be too safe, right? 'Gotta come to the expert herself just to be sure."

Michael giving her rides home 🥺 wether in a car or on his old bike doesn't matter, he just wants her to be safe going home at night- given his... Past experience. Sometimes he just asks if he can tail behind her if she brings her own ride, I feel he's just very protective over her- but tries his best to keep space and not seem too clingy. OMG but could you imagine if they carpool or something to work? I can see early mornings spent with Bree coming to the Emerson house waiting for Michael to get ready and having some small talk with Lucy, who takes the time to make her some breakfast. [Also totally not dropping hints about getting her son married and grand-babies wink wink]

Bree most definitely keeps a beat-up paperback book on her desk for the quiet moments of her shift. She loves monsters and romance, and has been very lucky to find a combination of both. She does her best to hide them away, but when she's turned around to find a clipboard or a specific document, David peaks over and catches the title on the spine. Something like "Bride of the Werewolf". It amuses him to no end. On her evenings off, he offers to take her out to the library or bookstore. Somewhere he can sneakily ask about her preferences and watch her blush as they walk past the romance section. If all goes well, he even may try to sneak a kiss when nobody is watching them~

Oh Paul and Marko definitely go full Yakko and Wakko mode around her. I don't care that Animaniacs didn't come out until the 90s. Those boys were going "Hellooooooo, Nurse!" long before that happened. But yeah, they are practically pawing at her for attention. Paulie acts like a golden retriever with a hurt paw, pouting as he shows her where it hurts and asking her to kiss it better. Marko uses his gorgeous eyes and bats his lashes, saying he'd do anything to thank her after getting bandaged up. Whenever Bree kisses them better, they're practically swooning. She doesn't mind playing along, so long as they're not dealing with SERIOUS injuries.

She has a particularly strong crush on Dwayne. Something about the warmth and intensity in his eyes makes her heart flutter. But Dwayne doesn't just go to her for his own needs. He brings Laddie along if he scraped his knee while skateboarding with Dwayne or hurt his finger trying to carry Paul's boom box. Laddie is a brave boy, and Bree is happy to help him out. She always gives Laddie a sticker and a cartoon bandaid. For Dwayne, he's happy just giving her a kiss on the cheek and whispering in her ear about how she'll make a wonderful mother someday. Her face went tomato red since she imagined Dwayne being the father in that scenario~

Michael used to work mornings and afternoons mostly because he didn't want to be reminded of his time with vampires in the night. But when he learned Bree had exclusively night shifts, he got his schedule changed to help her out and keep her safe. She's alone whenever she's at the front desk, and he worries about her a lot. Not just from creatures of the night, but also patients that try to give her hell. He's like her own guard dog. During down time, Michael likes to have coffee or a snack with her. He even knows how she likes her drink, which she thinks is so sweet. And yes, he's happy to makes sure she gets home safe. Sometimes if she pops by to check in on Sam after a visit to the doctor or help out Grandpa for a house call, Lucy will sweetly offer her a spot at the table for dinner. She also sends home leftovers so the poor girl doesn't have to cook after a long day. Bree adores the Emersons and Michael can't help but picture her being a member of their family.

Also! Bree has a chocolate lab named Pepper. She and Nanook are best buddies, so on shared days off, Bree and Michael take the pups for a walk on the beach together. She thinks the two of them might be trying to set up her and Michael together. She's seen 101 Dalmatians after all. It can happen.

No matter what they do together, Michael always makes sure she gets home safe and sound. Little does he know that after he drops her off and says goodnight, that's when the creatures of the night slip into her dreams to keep her company~

Hellooooooo Nurse!

My grandmother had a fall last night and fractured her shoulder, so it’s been a day. She’s okay, but she’s going to be in hospital for a while. I was out running errands getting stuff for her stay, and because it’s been a stressful day I decided to splurge on a Costco etb/Pokeball 3 pack and pulled the best possible card I could have from the set! I collect the trainer cards the most and I’ve been hoping to pull this since the set first dropped, so I’m very very happy! I love this art so much

OPHELIA PERFORMANCE (YBAGG TOUR!!!!) she just... decides to lie there on the stage mid-performance and... the band is playing without her and then the audience starts singing the words and they are throwing flowers at her... (this becomes a theme with her shows... everyone brings flowers, it first started with remedy for the make-believers) and then the band members stop playing and they arrange the flowers around her all while she lies perfectly still... if i think about it too much, i'll CRY (inspired by this)

the cabin band never plays the same instruments when they perform, like nobody has their instrument... and it's freedom, but it's also the state of being nameless... all this to say that i will FOREVER cherish that night when they all stop playing to switch their instruments and Amy lets Pandora be the frontman for one track (After Hours VU inspired because this is me <3)

(it's in Leadworth... it's not a garden-cemetery... the stage is set up at the exact same place where the music shop used to be..... (...no one was ever able to build anything there...)
