          Alone in the art room, Kaleolani had been working hard at a piece for a student exhibition while classes for others were still i session. The art classes for the most part were finished fire the day, which left Kaleo with plenty of time to start. But the further they got, the more they grew to hate the work. They didn't even like the idea of it. It was paint on the canvas, slowly drying as they stare at it in dissatisfaction. It's only when they hear someone enter the room that they're pulled out from their thoughts. A familiar face. An unexpected appearance. "Oh! It's you. Did...you need something?"

Well specifically it was liver stew, and it was completely for Sakhmet.  Oz had already made himself supper, some manakeesh, which was a dish that Amira’s gran had taught him the recipe for.  It was delicious and would leave enough for Oz to take to school the following day.  Thankfully the food would likely keep Sakhmet’s attention, so he could get some orders done.

He really didn’t expect the doorbell, but sometimes Brian needed a place to hide from the police and he happened to be nearby or Vicky had blown a section of the roof off her house.  He washed his hands and went to the door, brushing flour off his shirt and with a beer in one hand.

He nearly dropped it when he saw Damien of all people.

“...Uh...uhm.  D-damien.  Hello.  What...are you doing here this evening?  I thought you had...uhm.  Plans to r-raid Ms. Slayer’s test answers again.”

My Opinion on;

Character in general: Damien was probably one of my top picks whenever I sought to pursue someone in Monster Prom that wasn’t Vera or Polly. I love him as a character, as initially he was this destructive asshole who had a more curious and creative side. He’s definitely one of the characters that I looked forward to in events.How they play them: As far as I am concerned Grim’s portrayal of Damien is canon. Even more canon than whatever the fuck they did with Damien in the dlc. Grim has managed to find the perfect details for Damien, making him a believable and fully developed character that clearly has his own thoughts and feelings. I always look forward to writing a thread with them (when my own motivation to write replies allows it), as the friendship between Damien and Vera is something I find myself very invested in.The Mun: Grim is an absolute sweetheart and I’m definitely glad to be getting to know them better - especially after being around in the same discord servers for a while now. They’re fun to talk to, and I definitely value their opinion. And I can definitely forgive them for making me inevitability become addicted to WoW again. Admittedly I was intimidated by them at first, but I’ve definitely gotten past that now. And also holy shit Grim’s art?? It’s fucking great and one of my top places to go to for werewolf art.

What is my;

Overall Opinion: A lovely person and an incredible writer. I’m glad to be able to call them my friend and be able interact with them. They do their best with Damien, and even their OC Bandit - who I’d love to RP with one day - has that same quality. I am incredibly grateful to know them and look forward to being friends with them going forward!

“It was pretty cut and dry.  I was ready to...get married, start a family.  Milo wasn’t.  They freaked out when they found out we were having a baby.  They were good for the weekends drinking, talking about my work, that kind of thing, but raising a kid was more than they signed up for.  Maybe if Racquel hadn’t popped up we’d have worked out in the long run, but in all honesty I don’t think so really.  We wanted different things out of our lives.  Besides, I don’t regret a damn thing.”

Matt set the speed at an easy cruise, heading out of town for some air.  He didn’t ask why Damien was asking.  It was one of the things he’d decided regarding the younger demon long ago; if Damien wanted to tell him something, he’d work himself up to it eventually.

“What? It’s just a death threat. When did you care about people sending death threats?” Of course, Valerie was just trying to downplay it. As the death threat being talked about took the form of every surface in Val’s room being covered in bloody letters saying various things like ‘You are going to die.’ and ‘I will kill you.’ 

Val continued to scrub at the message on her desk - of which she had managed to get half of it off, but she was still not quite understanding that Damien was trying to show concern. “Look, this was probably some shitty prank but some prick who didn’t like something I sold them. I ain’t gonna get killed.”
