Deep apologies for the angst however,

Does gargoyle Virgil fear out living Roman and the floofs? Does he fear that he'll ever forget them? Also are the floofs immortal? Because if that's the case, will the floofs and the gargoyle meet up at the garden long after Roman is dead to mourn him?

O k . I'm gonna lay down now. Sorry about that.

I don't mind angst at all! :D But I'd like to keep this au lighthearted so I won't go into too much details!

The Gargoyle knows he will outlive the floofs (who aren't immortal!) and Roman, so he tries not to think about it. The Gargoyle will be left alone, eternally guarding Roman's gravestone. Over time, he will forget Roman's face, his voice. Same for the floofs. He'll remember how they all made him feel, and he'll be left with an immense sense of loss.

Oooh, that's a hard one. I'd say rain. Howling wind is comforting, but nothing beats the pitter-patter of rain against a window or a metal roof.
