...so uhhhhh, "Apology Tour" was... *interesting*-

Didn't even seem that long ago since "Full Moon" came out so I didn't expect another ep drop this morning, buuuut welp! Lets discuss:

First off just to smoothen things up a bit, The Positives:

-Animation & visuals were quite pretty, and wasn't expecting the whole "spooky Halloween" aesthetic at Verosika's party (tho that may just be the summer season speaking lol) but hey, I kinda dig it~ 👀

-Verosika in-general, I was super stoked to see more of here! 💜and even with her staying pretty sassy/bitter towards Blitz... its honestly hard not to feel for her once she & him finally had that one-on-one convo (even revealing that she did legit love him... but Blitz simply couldn't stay with her due to his own commitment/intimacy issues ;-; ). And even if it was technically more of a pettiness move to theme her party around hating Blitz... in a way, its lowkey kinda sweet how much she wanted to help others "heal" from heartbreak? Aww... 🥺 Idk, do I still wish Verosika could've been more of the "major" character focus here (as Fizzarolli was in his past couple eps)? Absolutely. But for what its worth... I had fun watching her as I did💗 (& hopefully this won't be the last time Verosika appears story-wise, cause oml imagine the bonding potential of her, Blitz & Fizz as a reunited trio lol)

-That one incubus dude that flirted with Stolas (+kissed him) at the end seemed like a chill dude. Even if he most likely won't appear again, his vibe was fun to watch lol.

-OH, we finally get to see Mrs. Mayberry again, sweet~! :> ...and, she's apparently dating Martha now? Huh, thats... interesting, I guess? .3. (*wonder what happened to her husband/kids tho, 'cause I kiiiinda thought they would've landed in Hell too ngl-*)

...aaaaand okay yeah, that'll cover the Positives I've got atm. Now for The Negatives... ohhhhh boy:

-I... guess I'm not super alone in this opinion rn from what I've read from other fans, buuuuut... Stolas can you shut your entitled-hypocrite-mouth up for five minutes, please?? 🤦‍♀️Like, I know the dude's still reeling from how "Full Moon" ended, so him being in a mixed mood is to be expected tbh... but omllllll the way he was just SO smug, dramatic and pushy about being the "good guy" in how he & Blitz ended (-as if HE wasn't the one who set up their whole "transactional" dynamic since the start of the freakin' show?? =_=), even whining about the events of "Western Energy" (-when all Blitz was doing was prioritizing his daughter's well-being at the hospital, like a good dad should), was just... seriously?? >> Like... yes, Blitz may be a whole mess himself with how he's treated others (esp poor Verosika 💔), but that does NOT make Stolas a saint with how he handled things himself. From hanging the Grimoire over Blitz's head, creeping on him again & again, practically ragdoll-ing the poor guy's feelings during the crystal exchange (not even skipping a bit when Blitz was close to crying), aaaaand not to mention...

...so like, tell me how I'm expected to believe Blitz is the one who needs to do all this apologizing/groveling... WHEN HE DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING TO STOLAS EXCEPT (RIGHTFULLY) CALLING THIS BLUEBLOOD BIRD OUT ON HIS BS?? 😑

*sighs* Sorry, didn't mean to get heated there but... yiiiikes is this show sending so many mixed messages of where I'm supposed to stand with these two, I can't keep up anymore- 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

-As much as I get what the ep was trying to do in having Blitz see past his own ego/apologize to others… Iiiiii'd be lying if I said I didn't feel just a tad bit uncomfortable at the increasing Blitz hate, throughout the party-sequence ^^; Like, I know he's a shitty guy who's done shitty things, and absolutely he needs to recognize how much he's hurt those like Verosika (& his other exes)… buuuuut tying into my previous point, it just rings rather unfair that most of this seems mostly spurned from him rejecting Stolas, of all people? ._. When… again, they were NEVER an actual couple like him & Verosika were, instead were just a simple once-a-month hookup deal that soured 'cause of Stolas' mess of a "confession"… y'all really expect me to believe Blitz is the bad guy for not immediately accepting the "feefee's" of a privileged, horny prince (aka: the one who did hold the Grimoire over his head since S1's "Murder Family")? …Ehhhh, sorry but I am NOT buying that crap lmao -x- 👎

I have 2 theories:

1. Stolitz doesn't become official in the next episode. In fact, whatever happens, they end up worse than before; I'm taking full-on break up: no more talking or sleeping together. They're both devastated but trying to be cool about it (save for occasional petty remarks from both of them and Stolas obviously more open and weepy abt his feelings tho). They stay like that for a few episodes then idk at some point they reconcile and start talking again which leads to other stuff and then we're back on the endgame train. But basically Full Moon is gonna be pure angst w/o a happy ending.

2. Stolitz DOES become canon in the next episode, but their problems are not solved and each episode that passes afterwards just shows how many other flaws they have in their relationship. They end up breaking up a few episodes after FM. After the break up, same as theory 1 they spend some time apart, they grow as individuals and shit and eventually they reconcile and blah blah blah Stolitz endgame. The thesis of these theories is that even if we do or don't get Stolitz canon in the next ep, they still are endgame (I believe) but they still have a lot of growth to do before they can have the truly comfortable, loving, and satisfying healthy relationship that the viewers want.

Source: I've seen a lot of TV couples have to work very hard for their happy endings and I can't rly see why Stolitz would be any different especially w a relationship as complicated as theirs. If you were to ask me which route I think is more possible, I'd say theory 1 bc authors LOOOOOVE putting their fans through the ringer, and theory 2 reflects that as well but holds it back a little bit.

ALTERNATE THEORY 3 (imo highly unlikely tho): Stolitz becomes canon and they actually have a sweet and loving relationship!! It's not without its faults tho and sometimes we do get eps or arcs where shit is just MESSY but Stolitz still comes out of it everytime better and stronger. There are no breakups and every1 is happy!! The end.

Edit: Alternate theory 4: My sibling brought this up to me: they said that maybe Full Moon won't mark a major shift in with Stolitz and that it may just be more interaction between the two characters; that while the episode may not be a turning point in their relationship, it may still continue to move things along between the two of them (though for better or for worse remains to be seen.) Sibling may have a point imo and I may just be too overcome with Stolitz fever to have considered this before 😅 What do you guys think?

okay okay. now that ive got the complaining out of my system i do need to say. i recognize that expecting this show to be brilliant all the time is unfair and it IS important to recognize that its really fundamentally a small dark comedy spin off show. in fact i think one of the main reasons this show GETS so much hate is because the long wait between episodes builds up high expectations and fans want it to be amazing and groundbreaking the whole time (ive actually briefly mentioned this before. there's a whole essay in my drafts abt this rn)

all of that said. i WAS deeply disappointed by the episode unhappy campers, but i also recognize this is an episodic situational comedy show, and i'm not gonna hold it against the show or anything. this is very rambly i just. i think its very good and useful to be able to recognize that this show really can be hit or miss and you can be disappointed with it without having to devolve into critic and anti territory (i previously said i still thought it was a good episode, just not for me, but i have since changed my mind. i do think it was a bad episode actually. there were... crumbs? of it? that i thought were really good? but barely and even at this episode's best, NONE of it feels on par with the rest of the show. but again, expecting this show's best to be the STANDARD is not fair.)

i really don't know where i'm going with this i just want to point this out i guess bc i have never REALLY complained about this show before and i don't wanna come across as pessimistic or anti. but i don't think this was a good episode at all and that's alright

"Are you afraid of him?" Stella asked, struggling not to hit her head on the ceiling, while Blitz frantically tapped his foot on the floor

"maybe, I mean, who isn't afraid of the Goetia? but even so, I heard he's... difficult to deal with, irritable and annoying, well, that's what they tell me"

"ehh they're not that wrong... he usually stays on the other side of the village, feeding his dromedary with dry grass"

"I hope he wants me to buy something, it'll be easier..."

after a long walk to the other side of the village, there was Blitz, behind a broken wall, with dead apple trees around, a field, not big, of dry and dead grass, there was Paimon, sitting, with his dromedary and his men who wouldn't stop playing their trumpets, Blitz approached and was soon interrupted by Paimon himself

"HEY HEY HEY!! NOBODY COMES IN HERE! GET OUT!!!" He spoke as he stood up, his deep and powerful voice sounded like thunder, but Blitz didn't back down, which made Paimon approach, quite irritated.

"Do you want to die, little thing?"

"I want to offer my services to you, sir, if there's anything I can do for you... buy something or-

"Hahaha!! An imp wanting to help a Goetia? How ridiculous!"

"It'll cost a few coins, sir, you name the price..." Blitz said with anger dripping in his tone of voice, this won't be easy.

"Okay, kill someone."

"What?!"

"What's wrong? Aren't you going to do anything I ask, imp?" he said sarcastically, he just wanted to see where Blitz could go, because he probably wouldn't do shit with a dead body.

"Except kill someone-

"THEN GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!" he shouted again, as he returned to his dromedary, and Blitz? I was leaving, I was leaving without courage, enthusiasm or even the will to try to argue with Paimon, and he didn't even want to anymore...

"Killing... idiocy..."

Okay so everytime I watch a HB episode I start manifesting that Striker will be there and it worked one time- I was watching “Oops” and I was like pls be striker pls be striker and ye it worked lmao But I stills like fizzarolli (he’s so silly :3)

But GOD I absolutely adore fizz and his character work in Oops and Mammon’s Special

i also love how as striker fans our initial reaction to episodes is pondering if he’ll be in it but if he’s not that doesn’t stop us bc we will still find a way to take the episodes content and make it about him LMAOO

there’s been speculation that he may be part of Mastermind sooooo who knows

WORLD WAR BLUE Episode 2 Explained In English

World War Blue is a manga and anime series that takes place in a world where two factions, the Segua Kingdom and the Ninteldo Empire, have been at war for centuries. The characters in the story are based on popular video game consoles and characters.

In episode 2, we see the Segua Kingdom trying to recover from their defeat in the previous battle against the Ninteldo Empire. They are short on supplies and morale is low, but the king, Gear, is determined to fight back.

Meanwhile, the Ninteldo Empire is preparing for another attack on the Segua Kingdom. Their leader, Marcus, is confident that victory is assured, but his second-in-command, Princess Elyse, is worried about the casualties and the cost of the war.

The Segua Kingdom sends a small team led by the hero, Opal, to the Ninteldo Empire to gather information about their next move. They manage to sneak into the Empire, but are quickly discovered by the Empire's soldiers. A fierce battle ensues, and Opal's team is outnumbered and outmatched.

Just when things seem hopeless, a mysterious figure appears and helps them defeat the Ninteldo soldiers. The figure turns out to be a rogue Ninteldo soldier named Tejirov, who had grown disillusioned with the Empire's constant war and was looking for a way out. He agrees to help Opal and her team in exchange for their help in defecting from the Empire.

Meanwhile, Gear is struggling to find a way to turn the tide of the war. He meets with a scholar named Nel, who suggests that the key to victory might lie in the lost technology of the Ancients, a long-dead civilization that was far more advanced than either the Segua Kingdom or the Ninteldo Empire.

The episode ends with Opal and her team returning to the Segua Kingdom with Tejirov in tow, while Gear and Nel set off on a quest to find the lost technology of the Ancients. The stage is set for an epic confrontation between the two sides, with the fate of their world hanging in the balance.
