I had a dream where I was eating in a fancy restaurant that had private areas with curtains. I was tasked to catch fish from a fish tank, but I couldn't find a fish tank. I thought I was supposed to buy one and place it there, but eventually I realized that there was one right there and it just blended in because it looked like a decoration. I had a fishing rod that attracted a pickle fish (it was literally a vertically sliced pickle) like a magnet, but I couldn't figure out how to attach it to the rod because it was apparently already dead. Someone was cheering me on while I tried to find a way to hook onto the fish. I eventually noticed that it had herbivore teeth to hook onto so everything was fine.

Here’s cult of the lamb fan art I got dragged into this fandom by Bamsara
Me rambling about ideas ⬇️
I made a hight chart that is for the most part based on the bishops animal size.
I feel like lamb was severely malnourished before dying to the bishops probably from being hunted, not finding food often, ect.
Anyway what I was getting at was lamb was like 4,6ft. tall and very small for the regular stature of sheep before getting pumped with crown juice.
Now they’re a giant with sharper aspects that a sheep wouldn’t have.
(Also I made lambert taller than narinder’s follower form bc it’s funny to have an egotistical god have a complex about being short ;o) .)

This installation of my Pangea Ultima project features some mammals that would live in the mountains. To recap, the mammals of Pangea Ultima are from a group of rodents called the Ashbreathers which evolved during a period of major volcanic/geological activity which resulted in them developing multi-slit nostrils for filtering out the air. Anyway, here are the mammal species showcased.
Mountain Ashbreather: the most common mammal species in the mountains and one of the primary herbivores in their environment, the Mountain Ashbreathers are guinea-like rodents with long legs ending in hooves for transferring steep cliffs and rocky terrain. The males are larger than the females, boasting thick, brightly colored manes for display and intimidation as well as enlarged dewclaws for defense.
Gargoyle Ashbreather: Resembling a wingless bat, the Gargoyle Ashbreather is a predator that specializes in hunting spiders like Leopard Tarantulas. Their long forearms and claws allow them to attack prey without getting to close and risking venomous bites. In case prey does get close, Gargoyle Ashbreathers evolved tough skin similar to honey badgers for defense. Though incapable of flight, they do have flaps of skin between their limbs to slow their decent if jumping from a high location.
Shield-Nose Ashbreather: These mole-like rodents are omnivores that feed on roots as well as small invertebrates they come across. Mostly blind, they are heavily dependent on their sense of smell and the thick structure formed around their faces are used to push out any predators that try to enter their burrows.
As always, comments and critiques are welcome.

since elves are vegetarian/vegan and (presumably) have been for at least a couple thousand years, does that mean they evolved to not have canine teeth?? do they only have incisors on their lower jaw??? what is an elf mouth like i need to know
correct! with no meat in their diet, elves never evolved to have canines--and given the breadth of vegetation they eat, they instead needed teeth good for grinding tough fibers.
something wide and flat that can move sideways, a feature seen in other herbivores too. it can be unsettling for humans at first glance, and man did it confuse sophie's pediatricians, but its a perfectly suited adaptation :)

I wish my teeth weren't so flat, like no matter how hard I bite someone it never breaks the skin cause my canines are basically non existent

You know how chimpanzees and other apes show their teeth as a sign of aggression, but humans started using it as a way to show that they’re happy.
Well, if a human (from a safe haven) smiles at you, how do you know if they’re really being friendly… or if its them telling you “I see you and I’m going to get you” in a sense that they are going to run you down until you can’t move anymore and devour you or just that “you can’t escape from me and you are mine now”.
Just that predatory glee (/thrill) of seeing your prey in front of you and you know where they are and know to find them and that they can run or fly or hide as much as they like, but you’ll still find them no matter what. So, technically they are happy when they’re smiling at you, but not the kind of “it’s nice to meet you” happy, but a “I found you and I’m going to get you” in a predatory sense kind of happy.
*humans ARE predators, technologically/socially evolved and omnivorous, but predators nonetheless and they are very, very bad views for many species here, and once they get their hands on you, you can be sure that they won’t be letting go anytime soon*
*obviously, not all humans are exactly like the ones in the safe havens since not all of them live there, but that’s something to discuss another time*

This is a sci-fi concept I conjured up recently. While sand worms have become a sort of staple of science fiction, most famously Dune, the idea of a sand Kraken sounded really cool to me.
At around 200ft (61m) it supports itself by spreading its weight through its tentacles as well as filling air sacs in its body and incorporating metals/silicon into its skeletal structure (its tentacles have cartilaginous structures instead of bones). It creates oases with its tentacles mimicking plants to draw it prey. It will even let herbivores eat part of its tentacles (which do contain algae-like organisms in its tissues) to give a false sense of security before they are grappled and dragged to its toothy maw. Though mostly a stationary ambush predator, it can "swim" through the surrounding sand by mixing air into it thus liquifying it. Thus is achieved through a combination of a vibrating muscle layer and specialized pores.
I was originally thinking of having this creature be a part of the ExtraTerrorestrial universe but I'm now leaning more towards my Centauri Universe to add new world building to that.
As always, comments and critiques are welcome.
