I decided to make character sheets for the boys, first up: the Fellswap bros!! Don’t ask me why I decided to do them first, because idk 💀💀

Also I do not own Fellswap this is just my take on the characters, these are all headcannons.

General headcannons for both are under the cut;)

Vant:

Observant, but he tends to be oblivious when someone is interested in him.

Blunt - can be really funny without meaning to.

Soft and caring when alone with those he loves. He still has his attitude, but he’s more down to relax and be silly. If you’re really close to him, like an S/O, he’ll tell you he loves you often.

He got his scar from a fight with Alphys. They were angry and heated and she lashed out. He wasn’t expecting his friend to do so and he wasn’t able to dodge in time. The attack left him blind in his right eye. They aren’t as close as they used to be. She apologized (in her own way) but Vant doesn’t trust her anymore.

He never got to be the captain of the royal guard underground, but he was lieutenant. When they came above ground he had a chance to continue that position but he declined. He can’t work that dangerous job with a bunch of monsters he doesn’t trust.

He wasn’t able to pursue another job before him and his brother got sucked into that machine and ended up in the Undertale universe.

When they were pulled through, Pup wouldn’t wake up, and Vant was on the attack. Sans talked him down while Papyrus healed Pup, and that simple act left Vant with respect for the brothers. Him and Sans have an understanding. They aren’t friends, but they do care for each other in a familial sort of way after living together for years. Him and Papyrus are sort of friends, Vant sees him as a little brother more than a friend.

He likes his new name. It’s sharp and short just like him. Plus… he feels as if he was a coward back in his own universe. This is a clean slate and a chance to be better.

After settling into the new universe he became a financial advisor. He’s always been a math nerd and he’s extremely good with his money.

Because he works with people, he has adopted a customer service attitude when with them, it’s a slap in the face to those that are used to his sass. It’s all a ruse though, the moment they are out of his face, he’s back to scowling.

Tends to wear more high-end clothes but he dresses more casual than Boss tends to, and he’s not overly picky, he just likes nice, soft textures.

His self-confidence is a front, he’s not confident in himself at all. He battles a lot with self-hatred and no one really knows other than Pup.

He enjoys savory food.

He knits in his spare time, and he often makes Pup clothes (like that sweater he’s wearing). He would also make his S/O clothes too.

He also works out in his free time, he loves lifting weights.

He’s friends with Boss, Red, Papyrus, and Sugar.

His love language is receiving gifts.

He calls his S/O “love”, “my love”, or “my dear”.

Pup:

Shy until he knows you, but honestly to most he just seems intimidating because of his size and because he’s not very expressive. He has a bad case of rbf and lots of people just assume he’s angry or annoyed all the time.

Funny and silly with those that he trusts.

Protective

He can be a bit sensitive, but he never cries in front of anyone other than his S/O and Vant.

Extremely observant, but he doesn’t always pick up on social cues. He’s a bit socially inept.

He lost his fangs as a punishment from Toriel for letting a human slip from his watch which ended with multiple guards being killed by them and Toriel having to dispose of them herself. She’s extremely strong and she had guards hold him down while she ripped his fangs from his mouth. They left him on the floor in the judgment hall, where Undyne found him, and took him to her lab. There, she healed him as best she could and gave him the gold implants. He never relaxed his watch on a human again after that.

He hated his job as the judge.

He was probably going to be stuck working for Toriel once they got above ground, before they were sucked into the Undertale universe.

He doesn’t remember much from the night they were dumped in this universe as he was knocked out, but he does remember waking up and being shocked by a bright skeleton, that looked very much like him, grinning down at him. He and Papyrus are friends, and Pup trusts him completely. He and Sans however? Eh. Pup thinks Sans’ head is too far up his own ass. He doesn’t respect or trust Sans, he thinks he’s shifty and too secretive.

He doesn’t like his new name, but he didn’t make a fuss about it, it’s not as if things would change.

He followed his love of chemistry after settling in and became a chemist.

He often wears stuff Vant makes for him. He also enjoys wearing more feminine clothes, like skirts and dresses. He likes the long, loose, and flowy dresses. He doesn’t identify as anything other than male, he just enjoys feeling pretty.

He loves soft and cute things, and he has a collection of plushies in his room.

He also has a fascination with human hair, and he’d love to learn how to help his S/O with theirs if they are willing.

He has the biggest sweet tooth of all the guys.

He likes to play video games in his free time, and he’s picked up playing the guitar.

He’s a cuddle bug, if you’re his S/O he will carry you away for some cuddles, you have been warned.

The Evolution of Cory

So the digital version was pretty limited - Cory started as a digital doodle but did not end as one! So I’m going to go through how this lad

became this cutie

So yes! Cory did start out as this very simple, unfocused design

He started out as this kind of meek, tired, RBF inside and out lad, without a story in mind

And despite how common they are nowadays, when I was making characters in 2015 and they didn’t have a story? They generally went up for sale

But he stuck pretty quickly! Despite still not having a story, he’s a mainstay who I love very much

In no small part due to how unabashedly he speaks hehe

He’s not completely shameless though haha

Being one of my very few 4th Wall OCs, Cory has a lot of opinions on contemporary media; he assigned himself to Slytherin house, and has his own taste in characters as well

He also likes LoTR even though I’m not the biggest fan haha

A lot of early doodles were trying to figure out how his design worked within itself haha

But it was also a matter of trying to find his niche as a character, something I hadn’t done before

And a good portion of that ended up being ‘’Character rating’’

He had a hidden well of love for other character designs that was, up until this point, completely untapped

But that also meant telling him no

A lot

And he was a brat about it. But he could be made to see reason, sometimes

And here’s where I named him ❤️ I was watching Hunger Games at the time, I remember because of who I named him after hehe

Once he was named, I gave him a pet. A little ferret that he named

Baroness Ameya Marina Sparkleboots (Ameya for short)

And Marina because I was listening to a lot of Marina and the Diamonds at the time and he happily adopted that part of me heh

He became highly opinionated at this point, very much like a teenager haha

"Do you have ears" still makes me laugh

I’m pretty sure my only notes for these are “Heartbreaker is in his Top 25, and the first time he saw the music video he fell over”

I did start thinking about Cory’s bigger picture around this time, and introduced him to some (adopted) friends and a basic backstory!

Cory was suddenly going to college and making friends. Still not dating, which suits him well honestly, but unabashedly loving and supporting his friends

And having impromptu makeover sessions (offscreen) that his friends just......really appreciated (Also not seen is Ra’ chasing Cory across campus for revenge lol)

After a several month hiatus of drawing Gravity Falls and a second wind of Invader ZiM, he was a little cross with me lol

But to be fair he looked better than ever! With all that Bill Cypher practice....owo;

Thus ended 2015 for Cory! First year of existence down! Into 2016

Being neck-deep into Undertale and embracing stylism to the nth degree, Cory was but a victim of artistic interpretation lol

I had also acquired my first - very shitty - white pen at the time, so he fell victim to that as well

And I promptly forgot how to draw him haha

Despite that, he hadn’t changed at heart - he was still there to give an outpouring of love to other OCs (in this case Bar, who was going through a rough time)

Luckily I remembered quickly enough what he looked like

So he was able to greet Tiny!Bar with a proper face

He also very pointedly reestablished himself as one of my main OCs at that moment, decided to stick around to see how things panned out

Quippy as ever of course, and this is where the eyebrow really solidified in design as well - it had bounced back and forth between bent and not, but it stuck for good here

And of course he was back to giving a lot of love to my other characters, and me back to telling him no

He was focused on Tiny!Bar for quite a while. To be fair, I was focused on regular Bar for quite a while too

Back to main form and looking better than ever

And bringing old friends along! (And yes, you can see his full name up there lol)

How unfair is it that Ra’ started dating before Cory? Honestly not very

College life sneaks up on you fast

Cory received fanart and because he can see the 4th Wall, he was able to look at it. He was very impressed

More about the 4th Wall - unlike other Comfort Characters, Cory was tapped directly into my emotions, drawing style, intentions, all the rest, and if I happened to be drawing him while I was having a bad day, he’d reflect that. And it’s not comfortable for him lol, since he feels it, there being no barrier

So he tries his best to help and fix emotional problems with affirmation. What a sweet lad

If you notice, this is the same outfit as what he was modeling during the Marina and the Diamonds high - his only other main outfit, not counting the coat

Still riding that hype train lol

And still checking in to keep things lighter

Unfortunately his methods tended to towards too blunt, so I had to yet again tell him no

So he reprimanded me and I ended taking his advice a few months later hehe

He was gifted a new outfit and loved it from the get-go. I oughta draw him in it again since it’s so cute

He’s the only one allowed to call me out on style problems since he’s the only one aware they’re even happening lol

At least he ended up being happy hehe

A new OC was made around this time and I toyed around with idea of a backstory for Cory again - even until now, he still didn’t really have a concrete story

Buuuuuuuut I decided against it because it was too edgy lol

He was quickly back to appreciating my other characters instead

And back to being a model! He doesn’t like to show off very much leg heh

It had surely been a clip since I’d drawn him yet again, so he has to roast me for the first drawing of him in a while! He is rude lol

Still though, he’s happy since I finally designed that minotaur I had offered back in 2015 lol

Demon Slayer Matchup: I pair you with… Shinazugawa Sanemi!

THERE HE IS THAT’S MY FAVORITE BOY (other than Uzui, of course)

Sanemi is quite a bit taller (not really, but 4 inches seems like a lot at times) at 5’10”. In the beginning, he saw gaining your friendship as a sort of challenge, but as time went on, he began to genuinely like being around you. He thinks your attitude towards protecting your friends is rather funny but also admires it because he failed to protect those he cares about.

Sanemi doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth, but he is also a big dog person! I see him having a bigger breed dog to take on runs when he has the free time. Hiking dates! When he isn’t demon-slaying, he loves to get out in nature and hike or train at his estate.

I see Sanemi’s love language as being touch. He likes always to make sure you are near when you are on dates or hanging out. It’s his way of reassuring himself that you haven’t died or disappeared. He also isn’t a big crier, so he’s a little confused as to why you cry when others cry.

He isn’t too bad at cooking, so he usually makes dinner, but he sticks with traditional Japanese dishes instead of more modern cuisine. He lets you stick to the baking, though! He finds it funny that you have RBF (he’s the same way, so make fun of him for it). He always validates your fears and tells you about his own fears in moments of softness. For example, he fears losing the only family he has left (you and Genya) and failing as a Demon Slayer.

My Hero Academia Matchup: I pair you with… Mirio Togata!

Mirio is the tallest of the three matchups at 5’11¼”! The two of you probably met while Mirio was on patrol for the Nighteye Agency. He found you interesting, so a stroke of luck for him when he found out the two of you both went to UA! You’d be in the general education course while he’s obviously in the hero course.

It takes a while to warm up to Mirio. He’s loud, extroverted, and can be obnoxious at times. But he means well and tries his best to be your friend! If the two of you become more along the way, then that’s a huge plus! He also has a big sweet tooth and is a dog person! He’s also sort of dumb-smart, so it’s cute to watch you two go throughout day-to-day life!

Work out dates! Training dates! His love language is physical touch, and he loves holding your hand and kissing your forehead! He isn’t a huge crier, but he’ll hug you when he sees you crying. He’s so happy the day you decide to let loose with him and be yourself! He smiles so wide it hurts his face :D

Mirio understands your fears and tries his best to help you with them. For example, he’ll hold your hand or hug you during storms and power outages and researches other ways to help! He doesn’t love reading, but he loves to watch you draw and listen to music with you! He’ll act as your shield when the two of you go to parties and things similar. He appreciates your blunt side; it keeps him on his toes! He also thinks it is so cool that you are trained to deal with seizures and fainting! He asks you to teach him and looks into getting officially trained as well!

Fairy Tail Matchup: I pair you with… Gray Fullbuster!

Gray is several inches taller than you (same height as Sanemi) at 5’10” and loves every inch of you! He doesn’t mind you having trust issues. He has a few trust issues himself. It’s a wonder he got as close to his friends as he did.

He doesn’t have that big of a sweet tooth, but he is partial to making his own ice cream. I also see him as being a dog person! Hikes are a fun way for the two of you to bond, and he always asks to take your picture, so he has something to remember you buy but understands if you say no! Rock climbing is another way for you guys to bond! Basically, outdoorsy activities are the ideal dates for you guys!

Gray’s hands are always cold, so holding hands may be a little uncomfortable if you are a creature of warmer weather. But working out is another way for you guys to bond! He asks for your help with magic and physical training since you are so good at it! He doesn’t mind your RBF; he finds it funny in some cases as it can scare off Natsu if he’s being a punk.

He likes that you feel comfortable enough to let loose around him, and he validates your fears! He holds you during storms and power outages and always makes sure to have a light lacrima handy in case of emergencies. Gray loves your brown eyes and freckles! He thinks they’re so pretty! He also helps a lot with your anxiety!

I'm so Tired...

The problem with writing is that you get too used to being in control. There's some days that I keep trying to put people in my life into certain roles. For example, some days my husband is an absolute a******. It's hard to find a place that he fits because he's not always an a******. Sometimes I hate switching from writing to real life. Because you have to let go of control. I've never really thought that I was controlling until I started writing. When things got out of control within the story I always tried to regain it. I don't like when I'm not in control in my life. I don't think I'm alone on that. My husband has a hard time controlling himself at all. With his illness, with his inability to get out of a depression when it starts, it's really hard. I know I'm generalizing it by saying that but it is hard. It's hard to keep smiling after we've had a "discussion" ie: I don't know what happened this week. laundry isn't done. you're supposed to get everything moved over? Hey, *we* should totally clean this week. Can you dust while I'm at work? -husband Maybe I'm being petty. Maybe I'm being a little bit of a RBF... but whenever he says *we* it always turns into *me.* I'm the only one that does any chores. It's gotten to the point where he has to tell me to do chores because I'm waiting on him to do chores. Course I don't open my damn mouth to ask him to do chores. I just assumed that if he wants it bad enough he'll take care of it. But that is never the case. And yes, that's on me. It's always on me. Because I don't know how to ask, I don't know how to tell him that I need him to do more work around the house. The only time that I ever complain about him not doing anything, is when I'm ballistic and angry and emotional and hysterical. It's gotten to the point where I have bottled it and bottled it and tried to take care of it myself and just tried to forget and it just keeps building pressure. Until I explode! I can't just tell him what's on my mind. Because half the time I'm swearing at him. I'm calling him an a******, I'm calling him out on being an absolute dick. I'm so done. I don't know what to do. Do I just suck it up and clean? Do I continue to keep my nasty thoughts to myself? Do I tell him that I'm not happy even though I told him *today* that I am? He so rarely shows that vulnerable side of him and I can't bring myself to be that harsh and blunt and honest. It feels manipulative. I feel like I'm being manipulative when I'm blunt and harsh when he is so vulnerable and he can't take it. Or at least it feels like he can't take it. I'm just so lost. I'm so tired.
