#horizon forbidden west#hfw#hfw photomode#what best to follow the daunt up with?#you guessed it!#thornmarsh pics!#turns out i really can't resist the fog#and the fireclaws#and everything looking the same#so i get turned around at least five times looking for an unmarked fireclaw site#i knew there was a shallow body of water#a path close by#and a small rise to one side#but turns out about 70% of thornmarsh fits that description#and of course the puddle close to the drone site was the one i checked last#which also spawned that fireclaw i was almost convinced i had hallucinated before

#horizon forbidden west#hfw photomode#hfw#carja#mine#this playthrough i am simply chatting with all the npcs and watching their animations#i’m not losing it right? there’s a ton of new dialogue and npc activity since the dlc patch?#at least in the daunt so far#maybe i just wasn’t paying attention before but it feels so much richer#like the pub in chainscrape if you talk to anyone they’ll chat about what they’re doing#or if they’re visibly drunk they’ll get drunker as you talk#all the forges and workshops are busy and detailed#idk!#i’m curious if i’ll feel the same way about the tenakth and utaru because i definitely spent more time in their settlements before#hfw npcs
