In the Wreckage of the World
A/N: So this is basically an AU where Marcy is part of the Moon Knight series in lieu of Layla. She's there wanting answers to why her dad, Marc Spector, left her and her mom. It won't be like your average series where I make multiple parts to this series that properly fit the timeline. It's more like I'll write random imagines, every now and again, for this AU.
Hope you guys like regardless! And if you have ideas for this AU, don't hesitate to send them!
Part 1

Everything was feeling like such a whirlwind. If discovering a secret side of him called Marc Spector wasn't bad enough, he now had a daughter apparently. She had just saved him from who he guessed was the Egyptian God of the moon, and now she was pacing around his flat, seemingly trying to make sense of the situation as well.
"Steven, you need to get her out of here,"
Perfect timing. Steven glanced over at the mirror hanging by the entrance of the apartment and found Marc reflecting in it. He looked more sullen than he has been during all these encounters they'd had so far. Granted, there haven't been too many, but something about this current expression Marc possessed made him look so forlorn.
Steven looked back at the young woman who was exploring his home. There was no way he could have fathered her. Then again, she was strangely familiar.
"What did you say your name was again?" He asked her.
She turned around and gave him a scoff. "Sure, I'll play along. It's Marcy, short for --"
"Marceline," Steven finished, his eyes growing big with shock. He once thought that if he ever had a daughter, he'd named her that. "It's the same name as my favorite poet."
"Marceline Desbordes-Valmore," Marcy said, smiling in spite of everything. "She's my favorite poet too. Because of you actually."
"That's mental,"
Steven needed a second to think about what that meant while Marcy continued to wander around the place before stopping by a nearby table where a large book was open and showing off strange illustrations.
"Hieroglyphys?" Marcy muttered, her eyes never leaving the page.
Steven nodded and grinned sheepishly as he came to join her. "You know what, that's not that impressive, really. It's not like hieroglyphs are a whole language." Holding up the large book for her to see, Steven pointed to an assortment of them and tapped on the page he turned it to. "But for example, this one here --"
"Funeral rites?" Marcy interjected before he could finish his explanation.
Steven chuckled in astonishment. "Well, somebody knows their unilaterals. You!"
There was this sudden wave of affection that swept over him. He learned a little more about her with just these two conversations, yet it was still enough to help him be more aware of who she was and develop a form of affection towards her.
Perhaps she was his daughter.

Okay, so I wanted to order myself few pairs of earrings based on symbols of various factions (ie that cross-ankh necrons use or the wheel of chaos). However since some of those factions exist as mockups of fascism, I worry that the symbols they use also have sour connections to irl fascist symbolism. So uh, I'm not sure what to do
Actual Necron symbols are all just hieroglyphy nonsense and fine. The Eightfold Path thing (chaos wheel) is also ok. Particularly if you get eyes and stuff added to it to make it more weird. Eldar symbols are rooted in Celtic origin and also fine.
Don’t overthink it, honestly. Chuds will use literally anything that takes their fancy. Like Pepe, apparently. Stay away from Templar-looking crosses and all forms of eagle and you’ll be good.
