Anyone ever laugh when re-reading human Feyre scenes with Rhys?😂 — because she has 0 shields, and no wonder Rhys knew they were mates… she literally hits on him every other line, even when unintentional… I mean, she actually thinks “the most beautiful man I’d ever seen” the first time/line they meet (as he later references/teases her with).

Even as a VERY traumatized High Fae with failing shields (going on a depressed monologue), she still says “Rhys- -Rhys with his smirking and sarcasm and bedroom eyes…” and NEVER manages to mention him without MAJORLY boosting his Daemati ego… no wonder his eyes “twinkled with bemusement as he beheld me.”🤣

Does anyone else find the Night Court sooooo boring? Like, there's nothing interesting there, no courtly dynamics or anything, just some sexist Illyrians and sexist people in the Court of Nightmares as well, and the whole book is Rhysand throwing his weight around WHEN he feels like it but not doing shit about genuinely important issues (like sexism). Rhysand is smart supposedly, but I've never actually seen him use TACT in this series. He's so powerful that he doesn't need to or whatever. Blah blah blah, Night Court is the biggest and the baddest. But the Autumn Court... Cutthroat, beautiful. It has sons competing for power from an early age, through combat and courtly wiles. Only the strong survive. It produced a Lucien and an Eris, and their complicated brotherly relationship. You have a paranoid, abusive leader. You have the whole LoA + Helion affair, a love child. The man who abandoned his heritage to play courtier to another High Lord. Who is friends with two humans, one who is tied to an evil god. You have Eris, playing the perfect prodigal son while planning a coup right under his father's nose. Both are potential High Lords. You have Gwyn, a part water-nymph having Autumn heritage; we could explore how mixed High Fae are treated as well. Also, I want to know more about how Lucien learned to catch fish with his BARE HANDS??? Finish the line: Autumn court males have fire in their veins and... The way I'd read an entire series on the Autumn Court 😩😩😩😩😩

The other day I finished book 3 in the acotar series and so far the second one is my favorite so I painted a scene from that book. I reimagined them as in those Korean drama scenes where she looks at the sky and says “wow so beautiful” and he agrees while looking only at her 🥴🥴

I’ll never not find it funny how there’s anti Feysand’s in this fandom when they’re literally the main characters in the series…even in the spin off. The entire series centres around them and people are still trying to justify why they hate the main characters so much…yet are still in the fandom. These same main characters are so important and loved by the author that she gives them cameos in all her series’s because she can’t go one book without them…like damn. It really must suck to be an anti Feysand, because no matter what SJM book you read, feysand are always there to haunt you 😂

One thing Feyre does a lot trough the series, after she leaves Tamlin, is that she constantly compares Tamlin to Rhysand. One of the things that made a big impression on her is how Tamlin said to her how there wasn’t a HL but then Rhysand made her one(undeserved). 

But the funny thing is that in the 4-5 months she spend in the SC (after UTM) as Tamlin’s consort she was WAY more loved and respected than she is as the HL of the NC for 3 years now.

She let him see a bit of that person—see the savage rage and silver fire he’d witnessed before Tamlin. Then she blinked and it was gone. Eris’s face tightened, and not from fear. Nesta glowered, but it was a human expression, and he’d take that any day over that silver fire.

Eris vs Cassian. One can handle Nesta's dark side, the other can't.
