So, recently in an interview with Paper Magazine, Brendon Urie (front man of American Rock band, Panic! at the Disco), came out as being pansexual. This has caused all kinds of controversy. Why? For starters, he is married to his wife, Sarah Urie. This will not cause any problems between the two. If it did, then it would have started when he was being known as the "straight ally" and parading around the stage with the pride flag. That's just hinting at not being straight. He even stated in an interview that he didn't know what to call it, only that he wasn't straight. Like yes, he did say that he doesn't like labels in an interview from the DOAB era. That was two years ago? He's picking out his own label. He probably only said he didn't want to be labeled because, wait for it, HE WAS TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT HIMSELF! So, now that he's found one he's comfortable with, we can use the label. Like, can he not figure himself out? Is it because he's 31? He's even stated, and I quote, "I don't know who I am but I know I'm not who I was." Sure, he stated that in his mid-20s. But that does not mean it can't apply to him now. This is the new age. He's a millennial! Let him be happy. He didn't donate one million dollars for nothing. He didn't start the Highest Hopes Foundation for nothing. I really love this foundation, but people with disabilities are not present, in the groups they are supporting. We need protection too! I messaged every social media for panic at the disco, asking why people with disabilities are not included. Maybe if more people messaged too, we would be noticed! Worth a try!
