Beautiful park! There is no shortage of trails to explore and many beautiful sights. If you begin where I did, Squaw Road, you begin with a gentle up and then downhill with a beautiful view of Ross Pond. Watch where you are going as there are many, many white or unmarked trails that intersect with the blue trail, and this is true for the orange trail as well. Later in the park there are breathtaking views of Furnace Pond, and to get up there, it is a decent climb but nothing too tough. On the orange loop there are also many views of the rock faces that you just had the pleasure of looking down from! Glacial deposits, rock, water features, and some elevation-- this place has it all! The only major downside is that due to its close proximity to 395, you can hear vehicles close to 90% of the time. There was also an awful lot of graffiti. However, this was not enough to detract from the park for me.

I was the only car here so it was a great spot to park in my opinion. There is parking on the other side of the park and in the middle of the park.
