So because mod can't find the original tally post heres a new one that has been updated... "X" means there are none on here yet...Also mod insisted on using first and last names to avoid confusion among those from alternate dimensions and timelines, if either is unlisted it is because it has not been revealed yet...And for those that are Un-named mod has been coming up with names for them and will be listed in parentheses.

The Fox and the Sun
Tumblr media
Demon and Demon Slayer in one? A paradox, but you were the living proof. For two good centuries, you served the Demon Slayer Corps as the Fox-Hashira, only in your mind your revenge against the Demon King, who had made you a demon. It took a kind boy with the sun in his soul to remind yourself of your humanity. Fox-Demon!ReaderXTanjiro Kamado
Tumblr media
Chapter 2: Good or Bad?
Your prayers were been answered.
Two of the Master’s daughters, you think it’s Nichika and Hinaki, announce the arrival of Oyakata-Sama.
With the help of his daughters, he was led to the edge of the veranda, while he greeted you all calmly and welcoming, being glad that you all were fine.
All Hashira’s got in line and kneeled before him.
You saw how Shinazugawa formally smashed poor Tanjiro’s face into the dirt so that he kneeled also.
You suppressed a growl.
The boy didn’t deserve this treatment.
“I am pleased to see you in good health as well, Master.”, greeted the white-haired Hashira. “I fervently pray for your continued good fortune.”
“Thank you, Sanemi.”
“If I may, Master… Before we start the Hashira Meeting, would you mind enlightening us about this swordsman, Tanjiro Kamado, accompanied by a demon?”
The master gave you all an apologetic smile. “Right. I apologize for startling you all. But first, before I tell you my decision on this matter…Inari-San, can you please tell us all your story?”
Not only you blinked surprised, but your Hashira colleagues and Tanjiro let out also surprised sounds.
“I think we all need a refresher and young Tanjiro can benefit from hearing it.”, added Oyakata-Sama.
You nodded, an order was an order, even if you did wonder why you should tell your story and began: “It happened exactly 340 years ago. I was a normal seventeen year old girl living my life. Then one night, all changed for me. The Demon King killed my family and turned me into a demon. I became like the Kitsune from our folktales, I was powerful, even so young. Kibutsuji called me his crown jewel. His best creation. For a good 100 years, I was under his rule. I…I killed and eat lots of people, sometimes whole villages. I know it was wrong, but my bloodlust was so strong. But slowly over the years, I regained more of my humanity. I got so strong that I finally could flee from Kibutsuji. I roomed this land, only eating humans who were considered monsters. Murders, rapists, pedophiles. I felt I did something good. Then one day I stumbled over an old shrine where the fox goddess Inari was worshipped. The Miko’s who lived there were old and frail. It didn’t stop robbers to enter the sanctuary and trying to steal the treasures. I protected the woman, killing the man. The Miko’s thought of me as a godsend by Inari herself, begging me to stay with them, which a did for a few years. Then one day the Master of the Demon Slayer Corps of that time and two of his strongest Hashira appeared. The Master begged that I joined their cause, which I did since I want to personal put Kibutsuji’s head on a stake. It was not simple to be accepted by the other Hashira’s. I still needed to eat human flesh to survive, the sun still burned me. It took nearly 100 years till I was so respected in the Corps that no one doubted my devotion. I saw a lot of Masters and Hashiras come and go, helped to raise future Demon Slayers, and worked on myself to reign more of my humanity. For a good 50 years now, I only need blood to survive, which comes from volunteers. 10 years ago I managed to finally master the ability to walk in the sun. I came a long way from Kibutsuji pet monster Kitsune to now being the proud Hashira Inari. And that’s my story.”
“I want you all to remember Inari-San story.”, advised Oyakata-Sama. “My Ancestor saw the potential of having a good demon on our side. Like how I see potential in Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado. Both will be Demon Slayer and I want you to accept my decision.”
It was so silent you could hear a needle drop.
Curious you glanced at the other Hashira’s. A lot seemed to struggle with this decision, but they also KNOW you for ages, some of them you babysit as children, they knew a demon could be good and control themselves.
On the other hand, this was you and Nezuko they didn’t know.
Himejima found first his words: “Even if it’s what you desire, Master, I cannot agree to it. Inari-Sama is a special case, a rarity. She has more than one lifetime of experience and self-control on her side than the young demon girl.”
“I’m flamboyantly opposed as well!”, agreed Tengen. “Inari-Senpai was once one of the twelve Kizuki, she is different from other demons. I can’t see another demon being like her.”
“I shall do whatever it is you wish, Oyakata-Sama!”, said Mitsuri.
At least one was for Nezuko and Tanjiro.
“I’m fine either way… I’m going to forget soon, anyway.”, deadpanned Tokitou.
Another one on their side, maybe? Well, better than nothing.
“I won’t trust them. I won’t trust them.”, hissed Iguro formally. “In the first place, I loathe demons. It was hard enough to come to respect Inari-Senpai and trust her. And she has centuries of self-control under her belt.”
“Although I respect you with all my heart, that’s an incomprehensible notion, Master! I oppose it with everything I’ve got! Inari-Senpai is the only demon we can trust.”, proclaimed Rengoku.
“The Demon Slayer Corps’ mission is to annihilate demons.”, reminded Shinazugawa you all. “I request that you penalize both Kamado and Tomioka!”
Oyakata-Sama turned to you.
“Inari-San, you are on both sides. Tell me…what do you think about Kamado Nezuko.”
You licked your lips, carefully selecting the words you wanted to say.
“Kamado Nezuko…is different. That is clear. She could detect that I’m a demon, even if I was using my Blood Demon Art. She could smell it on me.”
You formally felt how the other Hashira were losing their shit after that revelation. No one besides Muzan or an Upper Moon should have this power.
You continued.
“She didn’t react hostile at me, let me even pick her up and carry her. Nezuko is intelligent, she doesn’t seem to have any bloodlust. I think…she is more like me than we think…no she is even better than me if she really doesn’t need human flesh or blood to survive.”
“Your conclusion, Inari-San?”
“Oyakata-Sama, if this is all right with you…I would take responsibility for Nezuko and Tanjiro Kamado. I’m even ready to put my life on the line. If Nezuko will eat a single human, then you can kill me with her. I won’t fight.”
That made all Hashira really lose their nerves.
“Inari-Chan, no!”, screamed Mitsure, tears in her eyes.
“Senpai, that’s crazy, we can’t lose you!”, shouted Rengoku.
You know he had a soft spot for you. When his father was a Hashira and he was a young boy, you would often play with him and even babysit him. You are pretty sure you even changed some diapers of his.
“Inari-Senpai, that’s dumb and so not like you. You really want to put your life at stake for another demon?”, wonder Obanai.
Before it really could get out of control Oyakata-Sama wanted you all to hear this letter from the former Water Hashira and your old friend Sakonji Urokodaki.
Hinaki read aloud how Tanjiro should be allowed to be accompanied by his demon sister. That Nezuko had resilient mental strength and has not lost her human emotions. Even in a starved state, she never devoured humans, and this has held true more than two years later. Although the situation seems somewhat far-fetched, it is an indisputable fact. Then came the bomb in which your old friend, Tomioka, and even Tanjiro promised to commit ritual suicide, if Nezuko should kill a human.
As you promised a few minutes ago. All right, you said they could kill you too, but it was the same thing in a way.
Your nose tickled with the salty fragrance of tears. Tanjiro was crying silent and thankful tears. He seemed so glad and relieved that at least three people were on his and Nezuko’s side.
He was a good young man, you felt it.
“So what if they commit ritual suicide and Inari-Senpai lets us kill her?”, growled Shinazugawa. “If you want to die, then rot for all I care! It’s no guarantee! Not by a long shot!”
Rengoku wanted to say something, probably agreeing with him, but you calmly turned to Shinazugawa and said ice-cold: “And yet you trust me?”
“W-What?”
“Kamado Nezuko has never devoured human flesh, where I, I eat and killed more than a thousand, and still to this day I need blood. She is better than me, yet you and anybody else can’t wait for to decapitate her and her brother who loves her so dearly and would do anything for her.”, you scolded.
Nearly everyone looked ashmead.
They were based, they knew that.
Was it because they grow up with you as a parental/sisterly figure or you earned their trust.
They weren’t thinking rationally, but with their emotions, and they were in chaos.
Only Tanjiro looked at you like…you were a divine being, coming to Earth to help him and his sister.
You fought off a blush and pointedly didn’t look in his direction. These dark red eyes with heartful tears in them were too much to handle.
“The fact is that Nezuko has refrained from devouring humans for more than two years, and also that there are three people and one demon risking their lives for her.”, sums up Oyakata-Sama. “To reject this notion, those who reject it must offer an even more convincing argument.”
Shinazugawa gave an angry grumble.
“Do you all have the will to do so?”
No one said anything, and that’s when Oyakata-Sama let the next bomb drop: “Also, there’s something I’d like to relay to you, my children. Tanjiro here has met Kibutsuji.”
You Hashiras being shocked was the understatement of the century.
Your chin meets the floor. Tanjiro meet the fucking asshole and lived?
What?!
“No, impossible!”, yelled Tengen. “After Inari-Senpai joined us 200 years ago no one has ever crossed paths with him?!”
“Is the bastard still high and mighty as ever? I hope you didn’t battle him. He probably has a new hidey-hole, did you see it?”, you shoot your questions at him, like bullets from a pistol.
The others shoot their own question at him, like what he looked liked, what his powers were, and so on.
Poor Tanjiro was clearly overwhelmed with you all shouting questions at him so Oyakata-Sama called you all to order.
“Kibutsuji has sent pursuers after Tanjiro. Though his purpose may simply be to silence him, now that Kibutsuji’s given himself away for the first time, I don’t want to let go. I also believe something’s happening to Nezuko that Kibutsuji never saw coming. Not unlikely with what happened with Inari-San. One of his own Upper Moon betraying him must have shocked him, even if it was so long ago. Can you try to understand?”
Boarheaded Shinazugawa refused to understand the Masters reasons. He was so fixed in his mindset that all demons needed to be killed, that he couldn’t see another way. Not that you could blame him, after what he experienced as a child.
Then he actually slices his arm to let the blood drop on Nezuko’s box to coax her out!
Good thing you weren’t hungry or else you would probably start sucking.
Of course, Nezuko comes not out, hello sunlight, which Obanai reminds Sanemi, and the white-haired Hashira jumps into the mansion and then again stabs Nezuko through the box.
That’s when you see red.
One second you look human, the next your whisker marks get deeper, your hair turns orange, fox ears and a tail grow and you know your eyes turn red.
With a growl you jump between Sanemi and Nezuko’s box, holding in an iron grip his Katana.
“That’s enough, Sanemi! As your Senpai I say: Stand down!”, you growl in your demonic voice.
It’s deeper more animalist than your human one.
This all took place in a few seconds, so of course, all are like statues and don’t know what to do.
They know not to cross you when you show your true self. You were a one-woman army, worth a thousand Demon Slayers.
Nonetheless, Sanemi gets his bearing back.
“Senpai, you would face off against one of your comrades for a demon?!”
“She is an innocent being, I won’t let you egg her on. You practically play with fire here!”
“Innocent being?! That’s a demon and I just want to prove to you all how dangerous she really is!”
That’s when you all hear how the box opens. Growling, with saliva running down her muzzle Nezuko stands up from it.
Fast she grips your arm and puts you behind her.
What is she…?
“What is happening?”, ask Oyataka-Sama his daughters.
“The younger demon seems to protect Inari-Sama. She put herself between Inari-Sama and Shinazugawa-Sama.”, responds Hinaki.
So you aren’t imagining things.
“Come on demon attack me.”, taunts her Sanemi. “You didn’t like me yelling at one of your kind and you want my blood. Show everyone your true self.”
It seems like an eternity passes, but Nezuko just turns away from Sanemi and hugs you.
You feel her shaking in your arms, she is fighting against her bloodlust, but she is winning.
“Good girl.”, you coo at her, hugging her back. “You are a good girl.”
Again the Master asks what happened and both his daughter tell him what transpired.
“So now, it’s been proven that Nezuko won’t attack humans, right?”, declares Oyakata-Sama.
Well, no one can argue anymore.
In the end, Tanjiro and Nezuko were now accepted as Demon Slayers and their quest was to defeat the Twelve Kizuki and the Demon King himself.
Tanjiro promised that they would do their best.
Then Shinobu pointed out that he needed medical attention, so the Kakushi arrived to take Tanjiro and Nezuko.
You helped Nezuko back into her box, giving her forehead a kiss and a promise that you would see her soon. She made cute agreeing noises at you.
Never seeing how Tanjiro looked at you, a fox-demon, been so kind and good to his sister, filling his heart with new emotions.
After the Kamado’s Siblings were gone with the Kakushi, the Hashira Meeting could take place.
You switched back into your human form and follow after the other to the meeting room.
Oyakata-Sama with his two daughters by his side sits before you. The room was dark only illuminated with lamps and you all sit in seiza before him.
You talked about how the quality of the Demon Slayer has gone bad, how this era changed so much, and how the Demon King let this chaos happen with his Lower Moon to hide his traces.
The Master let all, besides you, go, with the words that you were the best Demon Slayer since the Feudal Era.
You expected a scolding for acting out of line today, showing your true self, and commanding Sanemi, but the Master just wanted your honest opinion.
You were the oldest, you have seen death and life come and go.
Was the way the Demon Slayer Corps took the right one?
You only said this.
“Oyakata-Sama. I think we found valuable assets in Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado. These two are something special. They are full…of sunlight. And sunlight is the best against demons.”

Title: Do Not Place Flowers At My Hearth, It Is Not A Grave.
Word count: Around 4.6k
Synopsis: Oyakata-sama calls you to the hashira meeting for a trial, and you are forced to reevaluate some things. And Kyojurou loves you. That has not changed.
Trigger warnings: A little gore, self harm, not reader, Sanemi cuts himself bc he always has to be difficult what's new.
This is an au of 'Lighting ten thousand' lanterns, by the lovely @phen0l which I so highly recommend!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is strange that Oyakata-sama has specifically requested your company.
Every Hashira has been called present, and you are not arrogant enough to claim that you are on the same level of power and importance as they.
Kyojuro is a wonderful mentor though, so you are close. And as his Tsugoku, you are privy to some information that is only later disclosed, if at all, to the lower castes.
Still, Oyakata-sama has called for your company, and yours alone.
His two eldest daughters, Nichika-chan and Hinaki-chan, sit by his sides, prim and proper as dolls, and just as pretty. They have just finished preparing your tea, and it is delicious. Their stares are a little unnerving though.
"So, how have you and Rengoku-San been faring?"
"Very well, Oyakata-sama, as well as we can be. We're very happy."
"I am glad. It seems Enmusubi-no-Kami has blessed the two of you. It is now up to the both of you to protect and nurture this love." You nod vigorously, before you internally smack yourself. However direct his eyes, The Master is blind. How stupid of you.
"Of course master. Between both our duties we take care of the household and each other. Senjuro-kun is very happy to call me Ane-ue, and Rengoku-San has new life and vitality to him nowadays. It's always a happy affair when all of us are home."
"I remember offering you two extra leave for your honeymoon and yet you both refused."
You shook your head. "Oh no, we are both Slayers, Oyakata-sama. Demons do not wait for love's full moon to wane. We must be diligent in our duties."
"Then why not take a few days off after your missions? Even when you are injured you both immediately go back to the field when you are barely healed."
"I think you mean Kyojuro more than I, Oyakata-sama. He can hardly stay in bed for more than a few days before he's itching to get up and start moving again." It was true. Last time you had to threaten him with no more ' kiss it betters ' unless he stood in bed and let his body heal.
Oyakata-sama's smile widened, and he allowed a slight chuckle.
"Oh goodness, that's not good, how are you two supposed to bear an heir in these conditions? Does staying in bed no longer entice the young Rengoku-san?"
Your face flushed red, and yes, you and Kyojuro have brought up the topic of children, and have, erm, been trying recently, but it was still so flustering whenever someone brought it up! Much less Oyakata-sama!
You don't even need to get started on Mitsuri-chan. One look at her sly eyes and sneaky grin and you flush like the ends of Kyojuro's hair.
The girls were still staring. It was still unnerving.
"Oyakata-sama, please, there are children present!" Again, he chuckled. And it was sweet how the girls' hands tightened around their father's. Their joy was a subtle thing.
"Forgive me. Yours and Kyojuro's story is one of the happier love stories in Demon Slayer history. I just want to ensure you both have a happy end."
"Do these other love stories not end peacefully?" Though his eyes were blank, and his eyebrows whisper thin over the purple scarring, his face still twisted into something akin to displeasure.
"Not many slayers in the era's past have lived to see love, or see the fruits of their love prosper. Most tragic of all is where their love is not killed per se, but is dead nonetheless."
Oyakata-sama paused to drink from his tea. Hinaki-chan kept her hand under her Fathers to make sure he did not drop it. You gave him pause and listened as he continued.
"In the Sengoku era, there were two swordsmen. Two Slayers. A mentor and his disciple. Comparable to the moon and stars, they grew to love one another.
"But, the elder swordsmen had a younger twin brother, one more talented and respected. And while there was no other swordsman more noble than he, there was none ever as glorious and breathtaking as his brother. Sun and moon, that's how different these two were. The older twin believed that he would never be able to shine in his own light rather than his brother's refracted rays."
"So, what happened?"
Oyakata-sama smiled, a bit sad, a bit bitter.
"The mentor and disciple grew apart. And eventually, his love decided to join the younger brother and learn from his ways, and the younger twin's heart broke.
"He decided that if he was forever to be a reflection of his brother, an imitation too pale and lonesome to be looked upon, he would become a mirror, and shine so bright and sharp that all who looked upon him would know his dark splendor.
"He drank the blood of the first devil, and became the fullest crescent moon of a tapered blackened sky. He became a demon."
You did not gasp, you were too well trained in breathing techniques for such an amateur move, but you felt your heart trip over a beat.
Oyakata-sama nodded.
"Horrible, is it not? Horrified at what he had become, the lover attacked him, and the two engaged in battle. It is assumed that the two killed one another. That the battle lasted till dawn, and as the sun rose over the horizon, the moon fell back and watched the stars fade in Dawn's embrace, and the rest is history."
You did not know what to say? The silence was heavy, and the three Ubyashiki's stared at you like they were awaiting an answer.
"Is it history, or myth?"
To your confusion, he shrugged.
"Perhaps a bit of both. It is an old story after all. Perhaps the swordsman did not kill his lover. Perhaps the lover did not track down the swordsman. Maybe he never became a demon and it was the younger brother instead. But there is always a kernel of truth in every tale, however old and tragic it might be."
"And what is the truth to this tale?" Oyakata-sama smiled blithely. Nichika-chan refilled your cup.
"What would you do in their place?" It took you a moment to process, and when you did, you felt the hot flush of anger creep up your neck and face.
"Kyojuro would never become a demon."
"But what if he did? What if it were not his choice? What if it were you instead? "
Where was the master going with this? Still, you paused for thought, and gave him your answer.
"Then I suppose he would not be Kyojuro, and I would not be myself anymore. I could only hope that there would still be enough of who we were to accept death before anyone is killed." You looked up from your tea, and you knew Oyakata-sama felt your probing stare.
"Oyakata-sama, why are you saying all this? Does this have something to do with you calling all the Hashira?"
"I will not string you along anymore Rengoku-San. There is a young slayer here. He is carrying his sister, who has been turned into a demon, in a box on his back." Before you could splutter out your questions of why, he dropped this anvil on your head,
"This boy has come in contact with Muzan Kibutsuji."
And now all the air has been punched out of your chest. Your vision narrowed, and all you could see was snow. White and shining, reflecting all the fiery colors of your former family's pyre.
One of the daughters moved closer and you flinched back, because her hair was white, just like his, a white paler than the snow he left nary a footprint in, but his eyes.
Sanguine, not like the rubies of the Rengoku's, but blood, like the flesh that he tore apart with the whip-like appendages that his arms turned into.
You had only caught a glimpse of him as Seiji was pushing you to run, the first one to see a losing battle and try to cut losses. The Devil was moving too fast to be seen or caught, but he had paused. Entrails hung off his body like garlands, viscera dripping thick and wet from his claws. His hair was no longer white.
His spider lily eyes had gazed in your direction as he stepped over the corpses of your adopted family. A child's head, crushed like a grape under his gait, unperturbed and languid, as death often is. The witching hour had fallen, and as midnight fell so to did the Fujiwara clan.
"Rengoku-san." A cool hand shocked you out of your reverie, and Oyakata-sama handled your trembling hands with care.
"This boy, and his demon sister, are on trial today. I will also question him about Muzan. As the only other who has seen him in the last century, your insight will be invaluable. But if it is too much for you, then you can stay here, and we can keep the questioning between you and I. You're under no obligation."
You scoffed internally. No obligation? Didn't the wind have an obligation to spread the seeds it carried? Didn't a hearth have the obligation to warm the house it graced? Was a slayer not under oath to follow the natural order, to slay all demons?
You would do this. You had to.
"No, no, I'll be fine, Oyakata-sama, I can do this. I think it's about time I fully disclose what I know, anyhow." He has not let go of your hands, and you take a moment to marvel at their softness, and the almost rash-like contrast to the purple scarring creeping on them.
It is comforting nonetheless. He smiles, and he looks grateful.
"Thank you, Rengoku-San. Anytime you feel uncomfortable, you can leave. I will not be offended and I will not blame you. But if you're ready, everyone is waiting."
You nodded and stood and moved to help the girls as the master rose, though they seemed to handle it.
With a nod, you left the room through a pair of shoji doors that a kakushi opened for you four.
It was already a ruckus. Within a couple of seconds of the master being arrived, a boy with his arms tied behind his back (the boy on trial obviously) jumps up into the air and headbutts Sanemi-san, who has his blade drawn with blood on it already.
Surprisingly, Sanemi-san is dazed after the blow, and the boy screams at him that if he can't discern between evil and good demons, he should just quit being a Hashira.
The audacity of this boy. He's on trial and he's already attacking people? What is this, trial by combat?
You catch Kyojuro's eyes and the worry and confusion within, and you smile at him to ease his nerves. He doesn't look that relieved, but his brow is less drawn.
Oyakata-sama comments on the weather, and it is indeed a lovely day. He thanks everyone for attending this semi-annual meeting, and you feel on the spot as every Hashira kneels to the master of the mansion. You're in the back, but should you kneel too?
You decide to bow instead, and you feel everyone's probing eyes, and the questions they are holding back. But Sanemi offers his greetings first and foremost, and you want to snort. This man was oft so feral, filthy demons this, and disgusting bastards that. Far be it you to question his motives or resolve. But truly, only the master could make him be this respectable.
You caught a movement at the corner of your eye and saw Mitsuri waving at you. She was trying to be sneaky but the excited movement was no doubt overt. Still, you smiled at your friend and shyly waved back.
You kinda just stood there, while the master spoke. You kept your expressions and reactions to a minimum, but to find that he already sanctioned the boy and his sister?
Urokodaki-san and Giyu-san. Something about these water breathers made them all such bleeding hearts.
But you look over to the boy, with his head held down by Sanemi-san, and you see his eyes well with tears and you think, damn it. He's just a boy. He's just trying to protect his sister. He's just a boy.
But a demon who has not eaten in two years is still a demon.
What if you were a demon? You think. You look away before Kyojuro can catch your gaze. You see Seiji's blue anconitum eyes with its slit pupils, framed by fire in your mind's eye, and you try to imagine Kyojuro in his stead, Senjuro-kun. You do not think you could survive the heartbreak.
You are Kintsugi, cracked and lined with gold. But gold is a soft metal, easily dented. You need steel to fortify your nerves. You cannot be swayed by this child.
Because a child he may be, he is still a slayer. He still has broken the one rule of being a slayer. He has also attacked a Hashira.
And this boy has met Muzan Kibutsuji. Eyes fling back and forth between you and the boy and you plate your spine with steel. With nothing more than a gesture, The Master quiets down the hashira and turns to you.
"Between Tanjiro-kun and Rengoku-san, no one has seen Muzan in over a century. He has sent demons to annihilate the Fujiwara clan. He has sent demons to kill Tanjiro-kun and his demon sister, an anomaly that has surprised even the first devil. Do you understand what this means?"
"...A demon is a demon! Allowing one to live goes against everything we as the Hashira stand for! It's tantamount to spitting on the graves of all the countless people slain by demons. I refuse to accept this!"
To your shock and alarm, and the Masters as well, Sanemi-san slashes his skin, and blood pours forth, into the box, and you hear a groan from within. Your hand flies to the hilt of your blade. The only thing that reminds you to check yourself is a glance from one of the girls.
"It's daytime, she's not gonna come out. Go where there's shade." and Obanai-san is of no help whatsoever. Sanemi-san turns to the master with a bow.
"Please forgive me for this discourtesy."
You turn to guard the back of the master when Sanemi-san throws the box into the shade, following it shortly and stabbing through it, much to the chagrin of the Kamado boy, whose scream is cut off with a choke. You hear Obanai-san and Shinobu-san and Tengen-san but tone them all out as the lid opens.
A little figure rose, and grew, turning to reveal a girl with a checkered obi and a bamboo gag. Her nails were sharp and pink tinted. Her hair was orange at the ends. Her eyes were slit pupiled.
She was humanoid, but she was off, and the growls coming from behind the gag did not help. Her pupils were dilating rapidly and you drew your blade.
"Here's the blood you demons love so much! Want a taste? I'll let you have a lick before I cut your head off. So c'mon." He waved his wound, fresh, and she tracked the movement.
"Nezuko!" You felt the tremor when the boy's hands smacked on the hardwood, and for a moment, the demon seemed in daze. Her eyes blurred, and her hands loosened from the half clenched fists that they were. When her eyes refocused, she glared at Sanemi-san and turned her face away.
Everyone gasped then. Sanemi-san waved his arm closer, but she just scrunched her eyes tighter and took a step back. His eyes almost bugged out of his head.
"What happened?"
"The demon, Nezuko, has turned her face away, seemingly in disgust. Sanemi-San waved his wounded arm closer, but she has stepped back, despite being stabbed three times."
You do not see his face, but Oyakata-sama's voice makes you give an imperceptible little flinch.
"Alright then. Rengoku-San, what is the verdict?"
Me?? She is a demon, what else am I to make of this??
Slowly, you approach, with your blade still drawn. You hear the panicked breaths of the Kamado boy and the slow drip of Sanemi-San's blood. You see Mitsuri tense from the corner of your eye. Kyojuro gives a little aborted flinch forwards.
You approach till you are a mere few feet away from the demoness and she looks at you and you falter.
Her eyes have softened. Pink, like peaches. Mitsuri's hair. Sunrise. Cherry blossoms.
Pink like oleander.
The pupils are round again, but she is still a demon and you remind yourself she is dangerous, even as she stares at you with calm clarity in her round face.
Not with a desperation that comes from a mind warring against blood. Not with steady malice and a promise of death.
There are no blue anconitum or red lilies in her eyes, though oleander is just as deadly if provoked. Her brow is pinched, and she makes an inquiring noise at you, tilts her head.
You can only see a child. A deadly one, but a child, nonetheless.
You withdraw your blade.
"I can't believe it, but she's safe. Relatively. I have marechi blood as well, and she's been stabbed three times. She should have attacked Sanemi-san or myself by now, to heal if not out of hunger." You step back, and watch as the girl climbs back into her box, shrinking down to toddler size.
She huffs at Sanemi-san, who is still staring in bewilderment, and you drift, zoning out Oyakata-sama's words to the boy.
You are somewhere else as Oyakata-sama tells him to defeat a twelve kizuki with his sister, and earn the respect of his fellow slayers. When the boy loudly proclaims that he will kill Muzan himself, you huff a breath, amazed at the arrogance of youth.
"...Let's focus on a Twelve Kizuki for now, alright?" He glows red, and you stifle a laugh. You don't see Kyojuro's shoulders relax as you do, and you move to join him and Mitsuri with little fanfare as the boy is taken away to the butterfly estate. He has fallen into Shinobu-San's hands and you wish him luck.
"Obanai-san, Sanemi-san? Please try to be more lenient with the youth. There is no need to be so harsh." The two men bow, sheepish, to one of the only men who can make them do so, and the Hashira meeting begins.
But the Kamado boy comes running back after he has been dragged away, being smacked and punched by the frantic kakushi, asking to headbutt Sanemi-san as many times as he stabbed his sister. You are aghast. You are endeared (Inevitably. Unfortunately).
This boy is calling down every death omen upon him.
Muichiro-kun will not allow any disrespect to the master though, and shoots three pebbles at the boy, knocking him down. Kamado is dragged away, limp and half dazed.
Honestly, when the Mist Pillar is alert he sort of unnerves you, though he as well is just a boy. But Kyojuro takes your hand in his, and the meeting continues.
Tumblr media
You've been near-silent all day.
Well, not all day. Just since the demon incident. You stared at her, and you saw something, and you've been quiet ever since.
Kyojuro is accustomed to your silence, and a hand around yours keeps you from drifting too far. He draws nonsensical patterns on the pulse of your wrist with his thumb, and you scribble back little words.
Yes.
I'm okay.
Don't worry.
Pay attention.
I'm fine.
Kyojuro just wants to make sure.
He was ready to jump in front of you and slice off the head of that demon, because he knows how you feel about demons, and he knows how you feel about him.
And he knows that you know what it's like to lose a home, a family. The only difference between you and the Kamado siblings is that they had bodies to bury, graves to mourn over. They had each other.
There were no bones to pick in the pyre of the Fujiwara home, and all you had was the taste of wisteria burning down your throat.
So he holds your hand as you recall untouched snow and naked wisteria trees. He traces the seams of your hand as you conjure up images of a devil, with breath so cold the air does not puff from their lips in winter. He interlocks your fingers and squeezes as you remember split pupils and bloody claws and carnage, every nightmare you still jolt awake from in the dead of night.
Mitsuri rests her head on your shoulder, wrapping her arms around your torso. Oyakata-sama thanks you, and Kyojuro does not mistake the newfound awareness, soberness, in his fellow Hashira's eyes as respect for you. Everyone here has seen the horrors of the first devil. The only difference is how far they've ventured into hell to fight against it.
And Kyojurou will become hellfire if it means you and his brother and his father can live in peace at the end of the day.
It is late when you both return back home to the Rengoku estate, when he is finally able to sweep you up his arms and kiss you, long and full and deep, just as he's wanted to all day. Your hands creep into his hair, undoing his topknot, and scratching at his scalp and he wants to stay here for an eternity.
He shivers, and he feels you tremble in turn, and he breaks the kiss to stare into your face.
"...I'm fine, Kyo."
"You haven't been this quiet in weeks." You shake your head and slide your hands down his neck, resting your hands over his pulse. He waits.
"Kyojuro, what would you do if I was turned into a demon?" He jolts, and he already sees the rejection in your eyes.
"No, just, where did this come from?"
"I thought, as slayers, that we are to kill all demons, to protect people. That's obvious. That's easy.
"But I spoke with Oyakata-sama, and seeing the Kamado siblings, I'm left to wonder now. What if I turned into a demon, what if it was Senjuro, what if it were you? Would I do my duty as a slayer, or would I try to save you?"
"Slayers save people, not demons."
"I am not a proper slayer. Slayer's save all people, without fault, but there are people I would still maim if I were to face them today. And Kamado was not a slayer when he saved his sister."
"Is she saved? She is still a demon."
"A demon who has not devoured a single human, a demon who hunts other demons. I looked into her eyes, Kyo, and she's just a girl. How could I raise my blade against a child no older than Senjuro?"
Kyojuro knows, because while you stared down the demon, he was staring down Tanjiro Kamado. He watched the boy, desperate, frantic, adamant as he and his sister were condemned. He fought against a Hashira because he hurt his little sister, demon or not. He swore that his sister would never kill a human, that together they would take down demons, and now it is up to the both of them to make due on those words.
Kyojuro thinks that they will. They will try, at least. And trying is not good enough when there are lives on the line, but Kyojuro is already wary of what new passages this will lead them to.
Kyojuro doesn't know if he'd ever have the willpower to go against the natural order. He doesn't know if he'd have the strength to rail against fate so hard its track is discoursed. But Tanjiro Kamado has done exactly that, and in the process, returned a sliver of his sister's humanity to her.
Kyojuro doesn't know if his heart is that strong.
He's mostly scared because he knows. He knows that if you were to ever become a demon, he'd still find you beautiful. Senjuro would still be his, more son than brother. His Father would drive his blade into his own flesh before he succumbed to the first devil. So would his fellow slayers.
And he knows that you would have enough steel in your spine to stand against the natural order; slay all demons.
"I am not a proper demon slayer either." Your head shoots up, incredulous. Before you could immediately go on a spiel on how noble and righteous he was he pressed on.
"If I ever met the people who sold you to the demons, who took you from your home and your family, I would hurt them. I might even kill them."
Just thinking about it made a hot flash of anger flare in his chest, his heart jumping an irregular beat. He pulled you closer, your brow resting on his collarbone. He sighed into your hair.
"If somehow Muzan himself became a normal, everyday human, I would still kill him. If you, or Senjuro or Father, or any of our friends, or even I, became a demon, I know that whatever needs to be done will be done. Whatever that is."
"Whatever that is?"
"Whatever that is."
"But that's such a vague answer. How do I know what needs to be done?"
"You're asking for a hypothetical answer to a hypothetical question, vague is the best I can give you, dear. But I can assure you, I will never become a demon. I will never allow Senjuro to become a demon. And if you become a demon, then I will save you."
You don't ask him for specific circumstances. He knows you want to ask if you were in the position of the Kamado demon, if you'd never devoured a human. He knows you're thinking of red lilies and morning glories, and what if it was all different?
He wonders why children are made to be demons and demon slayers. Why they are taken from the comfort of their homes and sold to demons by their own brethren. Why they still flinch at the thud of heavy footsteps and still wake up to cold sweats in the dark of night.
They are all children holding the hand of some fallible deity and asking, why? How come? What if? What if? What if?
There are 'what if's' that still haunt him to this day, ones that he still can't answer, so he does the next best thing and just holds you tighter, savoring the warmth of your body.
You kiss up the pulse of his throat and sigh against his skin, and Kyojuro swears his heart is ablaze, molten and dripping fire in the cupped palms of your hands.
He loves you always, and while that is a terrible realization, it is a simple truth. He loves you always. Always, always.
The Rengoku are flames after all, and Kyojuro loves you like the Sun in a cobalt blue sky. If you became a demon, then he would become the Midnight sun, and set flame to every one of your charcoal dark nights.
But it is late now, and the hearth has been unlit. Tomorrow the sun will rise, and another day will begin and Kyojuro will love you then too.
And he knows you love him. He knows.

Cultural Notes!!!
Enmusubi-no-Kami: a deity most commonly known for being prayed to for luck in love, courtship, relationships, omiai's and the like!
Tsugoku: in this case, mc was trained by Kyojuro and is his 'head disciple/student'. In the case he dies or is incapacitated, they will take his place as flame Hashira.
Ane-ue: A respectful term for an older sister. Senjuro typically calls his brother Ani-ue, so mc who married Kyojuro is Ane-ue.
Story notes!!!
Oleander: One of the most deadly flowers in the world. They can be put up for ornamental shrubbery or hedge, but all parts are poisonous. Ingesting any of the plant can lead to seizures, comas and death. Since nezuko was essentially in a coma for two years, and oleanders are pink, I thought this was perfect for her!
Anconitum: Otherwise known as wolfsbane. Ingesting a few drops from the roots of the flower and you've got some heart failure and cardiac muscle paralysis, if you're not dead already! I chose this plant for Seiji because his eyes are blue of course, and anconitum is also known as the devils helmet 😏😏😏
Spider lilies: I think we know this one. Spider lillies are poisonous to humans and pets, they used to be drawn over graves to deter rats and pests, giving it the moniker as the Flower of death, fitting for Muzan. They were planted as well around rice paddies to protect the crops. Touching then could cause a rash, and is deadly to animals.
Original premise: Mc is from Lighting Ten Thousand Lanterns by @phen0l , a lovely Kyojuro/reader fic. Basically reader was stolen from her home and sold to demons, but was saved and adopted by the Fujiwara clan, an clan of Onmyojis. They were supposed to marry an man from the clan named Seiji, until Muzan wiped out the clan but mc survived, and fell into Kyojuro's training and care.
There's really no way to summarise, so just go read the original. It does not have enough notes or reblogs for how lovely it is!

KnY Rareship Week Day 2: Chained
Kagome, kagome,
The bird in the cage
When, oh, when will you come out?
In the evening of the dawn, the crane and turtle slipped.
Who stands right behind you now?
Ubuyashiki Kagaya learned the most important lessons of his life at his mother’s knees, eyes solemn in the way children often are when troubled.
Age three and he knew two truths:
He will die before he reaches thirty because of his family curse.
He must do everything in his power to destroy the man…no, monster…that is named Kibutsuji Muzan.
Life was simple, Kagaya was the perfect son, dutiful and quiet. His parents’ only heir. Their pride and joy. Though in his family, joy was a precious commodity.
What is there to be joyful about when death hangs over every window, blocking out the sun? Is there joy in the beauty of the wisteria, when it is better loved by the Demon Slayer Corps for its lethality against demons?
He must strive to be better. To protect the Demon Slayers when he can not physically fight alongside them.
Age four and he sees the half-eaten corpse of a dear friend, the first time he had seen death. It will not be his last.
This, will be inherited by you, Kaga-chan, his mother had said in that soft way of hers. Soft, yes, but dangerous like a hidden knife delicately tucked into kimono sleeves.
This is our legacy. Never forget. And never forgive. Kibutsuji Muzan will fall by the hands of those he has wronged.
It is difficult, he thinks, holding back tears at the funeral, watching yet another grave marker be erected in the cemetery, to not give in to despair.
A man, weakened and frail from a curse, against a monster more terrifying than the nightmares of his family’s demise. Who is to say he will win?
At five, Kagaya realizes that he only has two short decades of life, unlike the demons who have eternity unless slain.
What is life? What purpose is there to continue living?
His mother takes his hands into her dainty ones and smiles, vicious, leaning in close as if she were sharing a secret,
Live in the moment for life is fleeting. Honor the ones that came before you. Pass your hopes and blessings to the ones that come after.
Yes, perhaps he will die. Maybe alone, despised and hunted down. Or maybe it will be peaceful, surrounded by the ones he loves most. It does not matter. He has a purpose now. His family’s curse might chain him down, but he has not given up. Not yet.
If he can not live, then he will die with grace. Kibutsuji might be immortal, but emotions are forever. What is one demon against the sea of victims he leaves behind, rising in a tsunami that will swallow him whole someday? The clock is ticking and Kibutsuji’s days are running out.
It is a comfort that he is not the only one who is waiting to die, Kagaya muses, Kibutsuji simply does not know it yet.
Eight, and his father passes away. Kagaya stares at his father’s body before it is taken away from him forever to be interred beneath the ground,
Is that what I will become?
His mother, his beautiful tenacious mother, nearly buckles under her grief of losing her husband. She takes the reins of the household, but Kagaya knows it is only a matter of time.
Would it not be nice, if I could go back? If only happiness were forever.
His mother dies when he is ten. The funeral is small and he does not cry. She would not have wanted him to cry.
Be strong, Kaga-chan. Avenge us.
Kagaya takes over the Demon Slayer corps like he was always supposed to. He does not falter in directing missions. Every death gives him one more reason to bring that monster down. He makes sure to commit every face and name to memory.
We never die, Kaga-chan, as long as we remain in the memory of the living. Let Kibutsuji die a dog’s death, he will never live forever.
Thirteen and he is brought before a girl. Amane, her name is Amane. The priest would rather marry them before the week ends but Kagaya refuses. She is her own person, let her be the judge of their marriage. He would not keep someone who would rather not be by his side.
My role is a dismal one, Amane-san, it would be unfair of me to burden you.
Then she smiles, all poison and pretty words,
Are you doubting me, Ubuyashiki-kun?
She reminds Kagaya of his mother with the way she smiles. He reciprocates her gesture wistfully, remembering happier times.
They are married by the end of the week, as the priest had wished. Amane becomes his constant companion, silent and watchful. They do not need words to understand each other.
They stand and watch the death count climb higher together.
They bury their fallen comrades together.
Is it selfish of me, he asks her laughingly when he first holds Hinaki and Nichika in his arms, to wish that we can all stay together forever?
Amane only smiles the way she always does, slipping her hand into his.
Despite the grief, moments like these are the ones he lives for. For his children, all of them, both blood and by creed. He can only hope that the choices he makes are making a difference. The Slayers give him their utmost respect and trust. He will not let them down.
A few more years and he holds his son in his arms.
Kiriya, he whispers in the newborn’s ear, our family legacy, this curse, now falls on to you.
He has faith in his son. Kiriya will continue after him. And if Kiriya does not succeed, then his grandchildren. Life is short. But thoughts, hopes, and dreams are eternal.
Kagaya hands his son to Amane. She gives him a knowing look but does not comment.
Hinaki and Nichika both clamor to see their little brother and he smiles gently at them, soothing their excitement.
How he wishes he did not have to leave his children to suffer.
My time is running short…less than a decade left.
When his two youngest daughters, Kanata and Kuina, are born, he does nothing more than press kisses lightly on their brows. Amane worries for him, he knows, but he is content with his lot in life. Kagaya only needs to look around him at his gathered children to know that his life was worth living.
Five more years.
His curse worsens, creeping through his body and down his face. Kagaya knows he worries his family, the Hashiras often remind him to rest. But he can no longer afford to. There a plans to make, mission reports to read, and many more missions to draft.
His children make him proud.
Kagaya receives a missive from the former Water Hashira, intuition spiking.
Be careful, Tanjiro, Nezuko. I entrust the future to you.
And when his time finally comes, Kagaya smiles.
It is ironic, that when my eldest daughters were first born, I told Amane I wished we could stay together forever.
Hinaki and Nichika play in the courtyard, ignoring the monster that stalks the path to their home.
My family, I am sorry.
Amane holds his hand, squeezing. She raises him to an upright position, supporting him like she always has ever since the day they married.
I know, her eyes seemed to say, I know and I forgive you.
Kibutsuji mocks him for his weaknesses, his frailness.
At death’s door, the monster’s sneer clearly states, how pitiful.
Kagaya only smiles.
You will never grasp eternity.
And he closes his eyes, content that Amane and his eldest daughters are by his side to the very end.
The future I leave to you, my children. This is our legacy. Kibutsuji Muzan will fall by the hands of those he has wronged.
Then his home is rocked by the explosion. He can only hope that his children will rise from the rubble, blades sharp and wits sharper.
Avenge us.

The Long Way ARound 17
Sorry for the delay, I completely forgot about this. I know a lot of people enjoyed the Sports Festival arc, hopefully you'll continue to enjoy what comes next.
Fanfiction/AO3
Chapter Seventeen: Time to Move Forward
"Bye Mom," Izuku says as he puts on his shoes, "I'm leaving for school now." The Sports Festival was two days ago but Yuuei always gives students a few days after the event to rest up. Izuku sure had needed it; he'd slept almost fifteen hours the night after the Festival, exhausted physically and emotionally from the day's activities.
He tries not to be disappointed that there wasn't a call from Yuuei's Heroics department during that time but he supposes it had been a crazy gamble anyways. He's not giving up but... he knows his best shot has come and gone.
"Alright Izuku, be safe. You're quite the celebrity now." His mom says nervously as her fingers lightly touch on the bandage to his forehead where Todoroki had struck him. "You gave me quite a scare the other day. You know I fainted twice just watching you! I almost ran down to school when I saw you collapse during your fight with Katsuki."
"Yes, you already told me and don't worry, I'll be fine. I'm sure everyone's forgotten all about me by now." Izuku waves goodbye as he makes his way to school. It's normal and quiet until he gets to the train station.
"Look! It's the quirkless boy who fought in the Sports Festival!"
"That's not him! He's too skinny."
"Yes it is! Look, he's got the freckles and green hair!"
"He can't really be quirkless, can he? He couldn't have defeated Endeavor's boy like that."
Izuku is quickly swallowed up in a mob of people who are shouting questions at him and jostling him in the crowded station. He looks for an exit in the crowd but is unable to find one. He's going to miss his train at this rate.
"Please," Izuku squeaks, "I need to get to school."
"I heard you bribed your opponents to lose to you, is that true?"
"Have you been transferred into the hero course yet? That'd be wild, I'd love to see that!"
"My grandfather is quirkless; it would mean the world to him if you'd stop by and talk to him." Above the din, Izuku can hear the sound of his train getting ready to depart.
"Excuse me," Izuku says, pushing his way through, "I need to go, sorry!" He shouts back as he breaks free and makes it onto the train by the skin on his teeth. He sighs and leans up against the door as the train starts to move. Jeez what a mess, why would anyone want to- there's a persistent tugging on his pant leg. He looks down to see a young girl of about 5 or 6 in twin tails with tiny little wings poking out of her back.
"You're the hero from the Sports Festival," the girl smiles. "My name is Hinaki and I saw you on TV, I recognize your curly hair."
"Hi Hinaki-chan, I'm Midoriya Izuku and while I'm not a hero, I did compete in the Sports Festival." Izuku says, kneeling down to her level. She smiles brightly and digs in her little backpack for a small notebook with a butterfly on the cover.
"Could you sign my book? I thought you did very well, even fighting that scary guy. I want to look at it when I'm scared so I know to be brave too." Izuku blinks and swallows the tears that are threatening to overwhelm him. He should have expected some reaction to his performance but this... he never could have predicted this.
"Of-of course, I've got a pen right here," Izuku says as he takes the notebook and signs it. "There you go, I hope it helps you. Someone once told me being brave isn't always about winning; it's about being able to stand tall no matter what." Hinaki smiles at the messy signature.
"Thank you! I'll look at it every day!" She answers before dashing back into the crowd; Izuku watches her go with a wobbly smile as he stands up. His first autograph and he's not even a real hero. It's nice know that, no matter where he ends up, he can still make a difference. The moment is interrupted by more people pestering him with questions and comments of all sorts.
He's relieved when he finally reaches his stop. He's never had so much attention in his entire life and it's starting to drive him mad. By the time Izuku fights his way out of the train station, he's running late. His phone buzzes in his hand as he's checking the time.
MindController: Reporters are all around the school looking for you, be careful getting in
MightyBoy: What!? This is insane
Vampira: That's what u get for slamming 3 hero kids into the dirt
Izuku moans as he sprints towards school and he can already see the large crowd of people around the building. It's not like he didn't believe Shinsou but it's still an annoyance. Shouldn't they be bothering actual heroes?
Glowstick: I kno! U should put on a disguise, change clothes with Taketsu!
MightyBoy: WHAT!?
Vampira: No good, I'd bust out of his tiny shirt & pants
Izuku rubs at his head, stressed and flustered and the school day hadn't even begun. He's going to be late for sure. Maybe he can get one of the reporters to write him a note.
IcyHot: Just go around back, it's mostly clear there.
IcyHot: Btw, did you hear anything from the hero department?
MightyBoy: No, I'm afraid you're still stuck with me
Mind Controller: Damn and we almost got rid of you
Izuku really hopes that was sarcasm. Anyway, getting into Yuuei is less of an ordeal than he'd feared. Despite his supposed fame he's still a pretty plain looking kid so he's easily able to blend into a large crowd of students and slip in unnoticed. Izuku sighs with relief until he hears the warning bell go off.
MightyBoy: Going to be late, tell Sensei I'll be there soon
Izuku is so distracted trying to text and run at the same time that he accidently runs into someone. He falls to the ground and shakes his head, already offering up apologies.
"Oh my, our little Gen Ed upstart is getting handsy," an older woman's voice teases. Izuku looks up to find pro hero, Midnight towering over him. "Hey there, cutie," she smirks and Izuku jumps to his feet, face red with embarrassment.
"Hello, Midoriya Izuku, it is I, the principal!" Principal Nedzu says, popping out from behind Midnight. "I've heard a lot about you, young man."
"Oh, uh thanks, I think," Izuku stammers.
"So Midoriya," Midnight asks, "how does it feel to win?"
"Um, but I didn't win?" Izuku says, confused.
"I meant the hearts of Japan, silly," she chuckles before giving him a little wink, "and your teachers."
"I was supervising the third years' event as I always do but all I heard people talking about was the quirkless first year who won the silver medal," Principal Nedzu says as the final bell rings. "Don't worry about that, we'll escort you to class while we talk so you won't be marked down."
"I'm sorry but uh, did I do something wrong, sir?" Izuku asks nervously. Last week he was nobody and now he's being walked to class by the principal and a pro hero.
"Of course not!" The principal laughs. "I just had to meet you; your performance the other day was quite incredible. I can see why everyone was so excited. You have a keen eye for strategy and your martial arts are quite impressive. You train with Rikimaru Daiki, correct? I've heard he's a fine teacher and very selective with students, that alone tells me about your character."
"Wait uh how did you know about Rikimaru-shishou?" Izuku asks, feeling more confused by the second. He looks up at Midnight, "I'm sorry, I don't understand what's happening."
"Don't look at me kid, I'm just here 'cause we happen to be going to the same place." Huh? "Ah and here we are!" Izuku stares blankly at the door to class 1-A. Was this... no, it couldn't be. Izuku stares down at Principal Nedzu in disbelief.
"Apologies to spring this on you so suddenly, we haven't done a transfer in some time so it took a bit longer than expected. Chiura-san has been made aware of the change and your mother signed off on the paperwork this morning. I hope you have a good first day, Midoriya, we expect great things from you."
Izuku can't stop looking between the principal and the sign marking 1-A. No, this isn't possible; things like this didn't happen to him, he can't be... The door to 1-A slides open and Eraserhead is there, free of his bandages, with a bored look on his face.
"You're not off to a good start, being late to your first day of class," Eraserhead says, scratching at a scar on his cheek. "You might as well come in, it's a busy day and you've got a lot to catch up on." Izuku trails behind, feeling like he's in some sort of dream only to startle at the loud cheers coming from the class. "Here's your new classmate, you all know him so I don't need to do an introduction. Don't harass him."
"I can't believe you made it, that is so manly!" A redheaded boy shouts enthusiastically.
"Congrats Midoriya!" Uraraka beams. "This is amazing! I told you he could do it, I told you! I told you!" She says, reaching forward and tugging on Iida's sleeve.
"As class president, I welcome you to the class, Midoriya. I will be sure to orient you to the duties and expectations of 1-A students over lunch," Iida says.
"Midoriya, you're in the seat behind Bakugou. You should recognize him; he beat you in the final round." Eraserhead looks at Kacchan, "barely." Kacchan doesn't say anything and continues to glare angrily out the window. Izuku is looking around with a stunned expression when there's a familiar heat prickling at his eyes.
"Woah, new kid is crying, what do we do?" a blond haired boy says.
"I imagine this is quite the shock, ribbit, I don't think he was told before," a frog girl croaks.
"Thank you for having me," Izuku says, trying and failing to keep his voice steady. "I'm going to do my best to keep up with everyone." It's probably not the best impression to make to his new classmates but how can he expect to be calm when his lifelong dream has just been thrust upon him?
"Alright, pull yourself together and sit down," Eraserhead says. "My name is Aizawa Shouta but you will refer to me as Sensei, got it?" Izuku nods and makes his way to the only empty seat in the room.
While Izuku is settling in, Midnight looks over at Aizawa. She raises an eyebrow but he brushes her off. The decision has been made and he's sticking by it.
"I want him," Eraserhead stated firmly in a faculty meeting the day after the Sports Festival. "I don't care how you do it but I want Midoriya Izuku in 1-A when classes resume."
"Really," Midnight said with a little laugh as she turned to her colleague. "You're normally so picky with students. It's amazing you'd actually go out of your way to select one, and someone who's quirkless no less."
"This isn't a joke, that boy has more potential than any other student out there. He has more than earned the right to train alongside the hero students," Eraser glared.
"Look Shouta," Present Mic said with a supplicating gesture. "I know you're probably sweet on him 'cause you also transferred from Gen Ed but there's no way he can really be a hero."
"Midoriya is intelligent and I must admit his performance was impressive," Blood King commented somewhat grudgingly. "But I agree with Yamada that he simply does not have the basic requirements of heroism."
"He did beat Todoroki-kun and Iida-kun," Cementoss added quietly. "And he gave Bakugou-kun a difficult time for a while. I believe that's an adequate demonstration of his abilities."
"Yeah, for a kid's Festival," Midnight interjected. "The villains out there in the real world aren't going to play nice. They're going to kill him dead and it will be our fault."
"We're not talking about the next All Might here," Eraser stressed. "We're talking about someone who is smart and tactical and would be a great asset to our ranks. If he's that good now, imagine what he can become with guidance."
"Alright, settle down," Principal Nedzu said and the bickering tapered off. "I concur with Aizawa-kun that Midoriya shows great promise for a small scale hero but I also hear Kayama-chan about the potential dangers he would face."
Nedzu paused and brought his paws together. "I'd like to hear from the 1-C homeroom teacher, no one here knows the boy better than him. Chiura-san, you've been working at the school for nearly 6 years and with heroes for much longer, what is your opinion on Midoriya Izuku's transfer to Heroics?"
"I think you would be fools not to take him," Chiura Hiro began sternly. "I've seen many students over the years but I've never seen someone as driven as Midoriya is. He has everything required of a great hero: skills, intelligence, compassion. He may not have a quirk but from the way I've seen him train, he's refused to let that get in the way."
"So you'd be willing to sentence him to death?" Midnight said, leaning forward. "Look, I have nothing but respect for you, Chiura-san, but I don't think it's right to throw a defenseless child into the kinds of situations we deal with on a daily basis."
"Let me tell you a little bit about Midoriya Izuku," Chiura said quietly. "He's not much to look at in the classroom. He's quiet, easily flustered and I've never met a young man who cries so freely." Chiura tilted his chin up with resolution. "But the true strength of his character, the reason I recommend him so strongly, is that Midoriya has this ability to bring out the best in people."
"If I may, he reminds me a bit of you, sir," Chiura elaborated, looking directly at All Might who has thus far been silent.
"There are plenty of heroes out there with strong quirks but the truly special ones inspire people and cause greater change in others. Midoriya turned three would-be slackers into hardworking students, helped socialize an anti-social boy and brought up the performance and morale of the entire class. Midoriya won't be your most powerful student, but he will be the one making the greatest changes. I believe he has the potential to reshape the industry."
"I've never seen Todoroki use his fire like he did at the Festival," Mic admitted with a shrug. "Midoriya was shouting something at him on the field but whatever it was, it got Endeavor's boy fired up in a way I haven't seen before." Mic blinked, "ha! Fired up! Get it?"
"I spoke to Todoroki after the Festival," Eraser added, ignoring Mic. "Despite receiving some of the worst injuries of the first years; he asked, practically demanded, that Midoriya take the open seat in 1-A. He said that no one deserved the spot more than Midoriya did."
"It's still an awful lot to place on a young boy's shoulders," Cementoss commented.
"It is, Heroics is a tremendous burden for all who join up," Chiura added. "Despite his condition, he has greater strength of heart than most people I've met. He's the kind of person who would carry his opponent off the field for medical treatment and would risk expulsion to make sure an injured friend wasn't alone. It's for that reason I give him my full recommendation."
"Alright, I think we've heard enough," Nedzu said, looking around the table. "Thank you Chiura-san, you've been very informative. We'll be making our final decision soon and we'll let you know what we decide."
"It was no trouble. Understand that I would not give this recommendation if I did not believe Midoriya had what it took to be a true hero." Chiura concluded with a nod before quietly excusing himself.
"Jeez, and he's one of the tougher GE teachers. I don't think I've heard him give a recommendation period not to mention a full one," Mic muttered under his breath.
"That should tell you that Midoriya belongs in 1-A," Eraser retorted.
"That's enough," Nedzu said, holding up his paws. "All the testimonies have been shared and all the evidence reviewed. We will begin our vote. Aizawa-kun has the most weight as it's his class but if too many of you disapprove then I can't in good conscience go ahead with the proposal. So, all in favor of Midoriya Izuku's transfer to 1-A effective immediately, please raise your hands."
"Now that we're done with that, we can move on," Aizawa-sensei begins. "Your hero informatics lecture is something special today. You'll be coming up with your hero names." The whole class cheers while Izuku looks around in terror. He literally just sat down in this class and he needs to choose a name already? The hero course certainly moves fast. Aizawa-sensei starts explaining about nominations and draft picks making Izuku feel so out of place.
Seriously, they couldn't have given him any notice.
"Here's a tally of this year's nominations," Sensei continues on, bringing up a projection on the screen. Kacchan and Todoroki had the most nominations by far with Tokoyami and Iida next and the rest were minimal.
"It's usually a bit more balanced but Midoriya's performance threw things off." Aizawa-sensei turns to face him, "Since you weren't enrolled in the hero course at the time, you were not eligible to receive nominations. Next week, while the others are at their internships, you'll be working with me to catch up."
"Y-yes Sensei," Izuku said looking at the board and trying not to feel self-conscious. He can't help but wonder if the reason he isn't listed is only because of his transfer. He beat Todoroki in the second round and the other boy still got over 2,000 nominations. He has to wonder if, even though he placed second overall, if anyone would have wanted to sponsor the quirkless kid.
"Excuse me," Iida announces, "you were saying about the internships?"
Aizawa-sensei continues to explain the role of the internships, the one he won't get to participate in, what they're for and why they need to choose hero names. Midnight saunters up to the front of the class and poses since apparently she'll be running this exercise. Sensei pulls a sleeping bag out from under his desk and... curls up in a corner and goes off to sleep. Izuku stares at him for a moment in concern. They sure do things differently here.
"Alright everyone," Midnight says as she hands out whiteboards. "Take some time to work on your hero names and be sure to think carefully on them. You could be stuck with them your entire career. Afterwards, you'll present them to the class. Be sure to give your quirk and proper name as well for the new boy." She smiles his way but Izuku is too busy staring down at the blank whiteboard in this hand.
What the hell is he supposed to write? This morning he thought his chances of transferring were in the negatives and now he's supposed to come up with a name that could define his future as a professional hero?
"Yo, Midoriya!" He turns towards dark haired boy seated next to him. "Welcome to the class, thank you so much for kicking Todoroki's ass for me," he grins. "By the way I'm Sero, nice to meetcha!"
"Ah well I wasn't really trying to hurt him," Izuku protests weakly as he looks over at Todoroki in the back row. His face is still a bit bruised but otherwise he looks fine; he nods at Izuku when he catches him looking. "But it's uh nice to meet you too."
"I'm Kirishima!" The redheaded boy shouts from across the room, "Dude, I gotta come over there and shake your hand. You are such an inspiration. We need to spar sometime; I totally want to go up against you." Kirishima says, walking over to Izuku's desk and clapping his shoulder.
"You're supposed to be coming up with your hero names, not chatting!" Midnight snaps impatiently.
"I already have my hero name and it's not everyday we get a new student," Kirishima retorts before turning back to Izuku. "I'm serious man, you were impressive as hell. Not just anyone can take down Todoroki and Iida, not to mention leading Bakugou around by the nose." Izuku sees Kacchan's shoulder tense up in front of him.
"K-Kacchan did really well in the finals, as always his technique is amazing and he really did a number on me. I'm going to need to work twice as hard if I want to get on his level." Izuku says peacefully, he'd like to avoid a fight on his first day if at all possible.
"Pfft," Izuku hears from across the room and sees the blond with the lightning bolt in his hair snorting into his hand, "Kacchan?"
"Seriously? That's what you call him?" Sero asks with a giant grin. "You got a death wish or something? I twitch my eyebrow and he threatens to kill me." Izuku sees Kacchan's shoulders begin to tremble with barely suppressed rage.
"Didn't Present Mic say you two went to middle school together?" The frog girl says from across the room. "You must have been close to have such a cute nickname, ribbit." She gives him a smile, "also I'm Asui but call me Tsuyu."
"Wait, does Kacchan have a cute name for you too?" The pink haired girl in front of As- Tsuyu says.
"Don't fucking call me that you goddamn extras!" Kacchan shouts, slamming his hands on his desk. "Fucking Deku is just such a goddamned loser that he keeps up with his stupid baby names."
"Deku?" Uraraka asks from across the room. "It's cute I like it, what does it mean?"
"It's an alternative reading of the kanji in my first name," Izuku says looking down at the blank whiteboard in front of him. "It means useless, basically."
"Aw, Kacchan that's not very nice," the lightning bolt guy says mockingly. "Jeez, I can't believe the two of you are actually friends."
"It's been a while. Kacchan and I live in the same neighborhood so we've known each other our whole lives." Izuku says, trying to remain neutral despite Kacchan seething so close to him. But he was done cowering, he was a hero student now. He'd earned his right to be here, to speak. "And he didn't really have friends so to speak, mostly people who were intimidated or impressed by his power and followed him around."
"Ouch," a girl with earphone jacks on her ears says, smiling into her palm. Kacchan turns around in his chair and gives Izuku a positively murderous look. Izuku stares back, he'd been hoping to avoid a fight but if Kacchan attacks then he'll will be ready.
"Bakugou, turn back around and everyone else get back to your assignment, gossip on your own time." Aizawa-sensei mutters from his corner, still curled up in his sleeping bag. Kacchan looks like he's going to protest before he aggressively spins around and begins scribbling furiously on his whiteboard.
Izuku is kind of jealous; he can't think of anything to write down on his. He'd been so focused on actually getting to this point that he'd never really planned for what would happen once he actually arrived. All the names he can think of are obvious derivatives of All Might which was not something he was going to announce to the class. Besides, he wants to be his own hero.
"Alright!" Midnight says all too soon. "I want to start seeing some names! Who's first?" So begins the procession of students who bring their whiteboards up and announce their code names. Some are better than others but soon, more and more people have presented and Izuku still has nothing. His first task as a hero and he can't come up with a single idea.
"King Explosion Murder!" Kacchan shouts as the class bursts into giggles.
"Why don't you try again?" Midnight says with exasperation. Kacchan sneers and stalks back over, throwing the whiteboard roughly on his desk. They make brief eye contact.
"The fuck are you looking at, Deku?" Kacchan demands, pulling out his chair so it slams into Izuku's desk. "Bad enough I gotta put up with you in the halls now I've got you watching me all the time in class. I told you to get the fuck away from me!" Izuku is about to comment that he can't exactly get away what with his desk being right there when a thought comes to him.
Izuku stares down at the white slate of his whiteboard and slowly writes out the word. He stares down at the name that has for so long been the bane of his existence. But he's not that person anymore. He placed second in the Sports Festival, beating three students with powerful quirks and holding own for awhile against Kacchan. He wasn't useless and that name didn't define him. Not unless he chose it to. Izuku walks to the front before he can second guess himself.
"Deku?" Uraraka says, "but I thought it was an-"
"It is or it was," Izuku says, turning his eyes over to Kacchan. He puts his chin out defiantly. "I've been called everything you can think of because I was quirkless but Deku, worthless, always seemed to hit the hardest." He breaks eye contact to look down at the sloppily written name.
"I'm so glad to be here but I can't forgot all the things I had to go through along the way. This name, it's mine whether I like it or not but I'm going to stop letting it control me and embrace it. By the time I graduate this course, I hope this name will come to mean perseverance or strength, not just to everyone but to me as well. I may be quirkless but I'm through being useless."
Izuku is blushes down to his toes as a few people cheer in response and he quickly rushes back to his seat, hiding his face behind the whiteboard. He can feel Kacchan's eyes on him but Izuku doesn't even bother to look his way. He's finally ready to let go. Deku can no longer hurt him, not when he's made it his own.
"Very inspiring, Midoriya," Midnight says. "All your names are going wonderfully. Keep 'em coming, we only have a few left!" The rest of the morning flies by and before he knows, the bell rings signaling the start of lunch. Izuku takes a deep breath and slides down in his chair. This day has been one thing after another; he just needs a few minutes to absorb everything.
"Welcome to the class," Todoroki says, coming up to him. "I was pleased to see you made it."
"Thanks, I did tell you I'd do my best," Izuku answers. It's hard to look at Todoroki's face with the remnants of Izuku's punches still visible and his slightly crooked nose a permanent reminder of Izuku's loss of control. "Listen, I um, I want to apologize again for-"
"It was a fight, I understand," Todoroki interrupts, holding up his hand. "Besides," he continues on in a quieter voice, "in a way I think I should be thanking you."
"Midoriya!" Uraraka says, bouncing over. "We have got to have lunch together, we have so much to catch up on!" She seems to just notice Todoroki, "Oh, sorry, am I interrupting?"
"No, I believe we're done. Congratulations again, Midoriya," Todoroki says, turning to leave. For a second, Izuku sees Shinsou's sad and lonely back.
"Wait, why don't we all have lunch together?" He turns to Uraraka, "Is that okay? I mean I don't want to impose but I'd like to get to know everyone and I still feel I need to make up for what happened in our fight and-"
"Of course, the more the merrier!" Uraraka says, smiling brightly at Todoroki who just looks out of place.
"Just not too much merriment," Iida says as he walks over. "We need time to orient Midoriya to the individual policies of 1-A in order to acclimate him and make him a proper, functioning member of the class."
"Woah, let the guy breathe," Kirishima adds. "I'd like to join too if ya don't mind. I have got to learn more about the most badass kid in our class." Izuku can't even begin to respond to that what the door to 1-A slides open with a bang.
"How could you lie to me?" Patrick wails. "I thought we were friends, man! We had to hear from Chiura-sensei that you'd been transferred!" He flies over and Izuku is half pulled out of his chair as Patrick holds him close. "Are you too cool for us Gen Ed kids now that you're a hero student?"
"I didn't know! I swear!" Izuku defends. "The principal caught me on my way to 1-C and just took me here. I didn't know until they pushed me inside."
"Um, hi?" Uraraka says, probably debating if she needed to intervene.
"Hey!" Patrick says, turning around to face the others while still maintaining his one-armed hug. "Man, you guys are so lucky you get Midoriya; he's like one of my most favorite guys."
"Takamitsu, stop handling Midoriya like he's a piece of meat," Korudo says with an exaggerated sigh from outside 1-A's classroom. "Honestly, he moved classes not countries."
"But it's the end of an era," Patrick whines. "He's going to be so busy kicking ass and taking names that he won't have time for us anymore."
"That's not true!" Izuku says, struggling out of Patrick's hold. "It's like we agreed before the Sports Festival, we'll always be friends, no matter what. You guys," he turns to see Taketsu and Shinsou have joined Korudo in 1-A's doorframe. "You guys are the best, there's no way I could have gotten here without all of you."
"Well, all I can say is you better not slack off or I'll be taking that seat from you," Shinsou smirks.
"Wow so this is a hero classroom, it looks like ours basically." Taketsu says, wandering in and looking around.
"Sure come on in, make yourselves at home," Aizawa-sensei mutters sarcastically from the floor as he inches forward, still curled up in his sleeping bag. Taketsu squeaks and half jumps into Shinsou's arms.
"Are you Deku's friends?" Uraraka asks, she gasps and covers her mouth before turning to Izuku. "I'm sorry it just slipped out, is that okay? I know you picked that name but it's also kind of sensitive."
"Yeah, no, it's fine. It's better when you say it," Izuku says. "Honestly I'm going to need to get used to it since I chose it and all. And yes, they are. This is Patrick, Shinsou, Korudo and Taketsu is our assistant rep in 1-C." Izuku says as he introduces his friends to his, well, new friends. "How'd it go uh this morning, when Chiura-sensei told you about me I mean?"
"Everyone flipped as you can imagine," Korudo says. "I'm happy for you but I've got to say it will be weird not having you around every day." He reaches over and ruffles Izuku's hair, "How am I supposed to keep these knuckleheads in line without you?"
"More importantly, how are the heroes going to keep Midoriya in line?" Shinsou says with a mischievous glint.
"Oh come on, I'm not that bad," Izuku protests even as Kirishima and Uraraka and a few others lean forward in anticipation.
"This I gotta hear," Kirishima says with a grin. "So what can we expect from our newest student?"
"Tears, so many tears, I have met babies that cry less than Midoriya," Korudo nods sagely.
"That's not true!" Izuku adds but no one's paying him any mind.
"Hmm, he did start sobbing as soon as he walked in," Sero grins thoughtfully.
"Also he'll fight any one at any time," Patrick interjects. "For your own safety, don't ask to spar with him unless you're serious because he'll go to town on you. My bruises have bruises." Patrick complains as he rubbed his bottom.
"Ok, first off, you guys asked me to train you and second-"
"He's driven like you can't believe," Taketsu says, talking over him. "You'll get exhausted trying to keep up with him. I'm pretty sure he doesn't sleep at all."
"Also he's protective as hell," Shinsou continues. "Midoriya would light himself on fire if he thought it'd help someone out. Basically," he drawls out, "he's kind of an idiot."
"But he's our idiot," Patrick says enthusiastically, "and now he's yours too I guess. You gotta watch out for him for us, make sure he doesn't go overboard like that time he was so tired he took the wrong train and ended up in Shinjuko before he noticed."
"That was one time," Izuku says even as everyone starts laughing at his expense. But it's not like back in the day when Kacchan and his followers used to push him around. This is friendly teasing, friends just giving him a hard time. His heart feels ready to burst, look at how many people he has in his life.
"Oh I've got to hear more," Kirishima says. "Come on, let's snag a table at lunch and keep talking. I want to hear all the details, all the better to watch out for him." He says as he gives Patrick a friendly punch on the shoulder.
"We'll be here all day if you really want all the details." Patrick says, rubbing the spot Kirishima punched.
"I think we're going to need a bigger table," Taketsu says with a wry grin.

"Layla-san is here for you, Producer-dono"
Headcanon is that Layla's one of the few idols in which Hinaki-P can be open on her own feelings without repressing it as Layla had been the longest under her supervision that understands her depressive episodes well.

Akari: Thank you for today~! Oh no, it's getting kinda late…! I gotta hurry…!
[Scene Transition]
Akari: Uhh, it was around here, right…? Oh, they're they are! Sumire-chan, Hinaki-chan, good work today!
Sumire: Akari-chan!
Hinaki: You, too!
Akari: Sorry, did you wait long?
Sumire: Nope, not at all! I was just so excited! It's been awhile since we got off work at the same time.
Hinaki: Yeah!
Akari: I just happened to have a recording at this TV studio, too!
[Scene Transition]
Hinaki: It's actually been awhile since we've seen each other. I'm so happy!
Sumire: Akari-chan's been super busy since she became Starlight Queen and all.
Akari: Yeah. Let's take a break and have some tea at my place!
Hinaki: Yeah! Let's do it!
Sumire: Huh? What's this?
Hinaki: Hm? What's up?
Sumire: There's an envelope stuck in the door to Akari-chan's place.
Akari: You're right. It looks like a letter…It's from Kitaoji-senpai!
[Scene Transition]
Akari: Wow, Sumire-chan, this tea is so good!
Sumire: Hehe, it's passion fruit-flavoured tea.
Hinaki: Phew~! It's so relaxing~!
Akari: Alright, what's this letter from Kitaoji-senpai about? Let's take a look!
Hinaki: Yeah, yeah!
Akari: “Ms. Ozora, It has been an honour watching your exciting, promising idol activities.”
Sumire: Wow, what flattering words!
Akari: Yeah! “I wrote to you today to welcome you to our meeting. The meeting is called the Starlight Queen Meet.” Wow!
Hinaki: Starlight Queen Meet…!? What's that!?
Akari: I've never been myself but it says it's a meeting for only Starlight Queens!
Sumire: I see!
Akari: Kitaoji-senpai said she would invite me someday. In the letter she gave me when I became Starlight Queen.
Hinaki: Ooh!
Sumire: I still think about your live for the Queen Cup a lot even now. It gave me a lot of courage, so…
[Live Simulation]
Hinaki: Akari-chan's live was the best!
Sumire: Yeah, it made me want to try harder. The power of idols really is amazing.
Hinaki: You're an idol too, you know.
Sumire: Heehee, yeah, but.
[Scene Transition]
Hinaki: So, the Starlight Queen Meet. Did the letter say anything else?
Akari: The ones attending are: Kanzaki-senpai, Arisugawa-senpai, Kitaoji-senpai, and me.
Hinaki: Whoa!
Sumire: So glamourous!
Akari: It says, “It's a surprise what we're going to do on the day of. Please look forward to your first Queen Meet.”
Sumire: Wow! It kinda makes us feel excited too, right!?
Hinaki: Looking forward to your report on what happens!
Akari: Okay! ...The Starlight Queen Meet. I wonder what we're gonna do…?
Episode 2
Akari: Today's finally the day of the Starlight Queen Meet! I'm so excited! We're gonna meet at my place first, right!? There's 30 minutes until the scheduled time!
[Doorbell ringing]
Akari: Huh? Already? I wonder who it is…?
[Scene Transition]
Otome: Akari-taan! Good morning~!
Akari: Arisugawa-senpai! Good morning!
Otome: I was so excited for today's Starlight Queen Meet that I came too early~! I came here 10 minutes ago and thought that's still too early~, and was going to wait outside, but...I couldn't wait anymore and rang the doorbell!
Akari: Hehe, you're so cute, Senpai! Let's wait for the others inside!
Otome: Thank you~!
[Scene Transition]
[Doorbell ringing]
Akari: Huh? Again?
Mizuki: Morning, Ozora!
Akari: Kanzaki-senpai!
Mizuki: I came too early.
Akari: It's totally fine! Arisugawa-senpai's here, too!
Otome: Mizuki-san, good morning~!
Mizuki: Morning. You came too early, too? Well, I guess you're early every time.
Otome: Yes! I aaaalways came early last year and the year before that and year before that!
Mizuki: The Starlight Queen Meet is really something to look forward to.
Otome: Yes~!
[Scene Transition]
Akari: Wow…! I really wonder what we're gonna do…?
[Doorbell ringing]
Akari: Oh, again!
[Scene Transition]
Sakura: Ozora-san, good morning.
Akari: I knew it was you, Kitaoji-senpai! Good morning!
Sakura: You knew…? I came too early. Is it not a bother?
Akari: It's completely fine!
Otome: Because me and Mizuki-san are here, too!
Sakura: Oh, my!
[Scene Transition]
Mizuki: This is a surprise. For the always-calm Kitaoji to be here early.
Sakura: Ah, too early, too early! My mind chants, yet my heart pushes me on! I just couldn't help but press it, the doorbell~~!
Akari: There it is! The Kitaoji Theatre!
Otome: She must be super duper hyped up for her to do the Kitaoji Theatre first thing in the morning.
Sakura: Ahem...It's true that I'm excited…
Mizuki: Alright, so everyone's here!
Akari: Yes!
Mizuki: Then let's start the Starlight Queen Meet!
Episode 3
Akari: Kanzaki-senpai and Arisugawa-senpai and Kitaoji-senpai! It's way too extravagant for Starlight Queens to come gather at my place for tea…!
Mizuki: The current Starlight Queen, Ozora, is here, too.
Akari: Oh, yes!
Sakura: It's been awhile since I entered this house.
Mizuki: Me, too. This single house for the Queen was called “Mizuki Palace” during my time.
Otome: It was “Otome Mansion” for me!
Sakura: It was “Sakura Manor” for me.
Akari: It's called “Akari's Place” right now.
Sakura: It's a very Ozora-san-like and friendly-sounding name.
Otome: Ooh! That's right!
Akari: Why did you suddenly stand up, Arisugawa-senpai?
Otome: I hid treasure here when I was moving out!
Mizuki: Treasure?
Otome: Yes! I hid candy in the drawer under the TV! May I open it, Akari-tan?
Akari: Hehe, of course♪
Otome: Oooh~! There's more now~! The drawer's full of candy!
Sakura: Actually, when I moved in, I found two of what I thought to be the candy that Otome-sama left—and added three more. For whenever Otome-sama comes over.
Otome: Sakura-tan! Thank you so much!
Akari: And then I discovered it and continued the legacy by adding lots more!
Otome: Akari-tan! Thank you so much! Let's have some candy~! Here, you too, Akari-tan!
Akari: Thank you so much! Starlight Queen Meet is so fun! It's fun even just having tea.
Mizuki: It only just started. There's more to come.
Akari: Really?
Sakura: Yes!
Akari: I'm so excited! When did this meeting first start, anyway?
Mizuki: It first started when I became Starlight Queen, I think.
Sakura: Mizuki-sama's live for when she became Queen was really wonderful!
Otome: Yep~!
Akari: I watched a video, too!
Mizuki: Thanks. Talking about it makes me think back. The first live I had when I was Queen…
[Live Simulation]
Otome: I love Mizuki-san's Move on now!
Sakura: Mizuki-sama became Queen right after entering Starlight Academy, correct?
Akari: You're so amazing!
Mizuki: I swore to myself that I would back then. I'm sure there were plenty of wonderful classmates and shining seniors. But I was only looking down my path, and kept on running. At full speed—Like I stopped breathing. So when I reached my goal of becoming Queen—I just naturally lost some tension in my shoulders a little, for a split second. That time, I got one day off, and awarded myself.
Akari: Awarded…?
Mizuki: I went to my favourite sweets buffet.
Akari: Oh, could it be that place…
Mizuki: Hehe, yep, you've been there before, huh.
Akari: Yes!
Mizuki: It felt like my spirit was recharged eating the sweets. It was like deep breathing for the first time after a long time. And then, when Arisugawa became Queen after me, I invited her to tea.
Otome: I was so happy! My heart feels all warm and fuzzy when I think back to it even now.
Akari: …
Mizuki: You know how you forget to take a break when you're running with all your might? I'm sure it happens to everyone, and just not idols. But especially for Queens, there are great expectations so I thought there's just times when you tense up too much. So that's why I went to hang with Arisugawa.
Otome: Yes! It was just so much fun, I wanted to make it a tradition! So I named it the Starlight Queen Meet!
Mizuki: It was then that it became a tradition. So, there's something we haven't told you yet, Ozora.
Akari: …?
Mizuki: We want you to decide what to do for the Starlight Queen Meet now.
Akari: Huh?
Otome: Anything's game! You decide!
Akari: Me…!?

Note
aikatsu for the ask meme o/
much less tl;dr, thankfully
My favorite parent-child relationship
- KII AND HER MOM............  kii’s flashbacks in her first focus episode were so pure, and i love how supportive her mom is __(:3_/
My favorite sibling relationship
- ichigo and raichi, in like??  a begrudging way, haha.  while raichi annoys me, i know it’s in part b/c he reminds me of my own little brother, so their dynamic is like......a g-rated version of the one i have w/my brother lmao
My favorite family relationship (other)
- i haven’t Officially gotten to madoka’s introduction, but she and her grandma have a really cute dynamic!  i love how there’s sort of like an angely sugar “family” amongst chars who have some relation to the brand.
My favorite friendship between two people
- ghhhhh this is really hard b/c aikatsu is so rooted in its friendships?  i’ll go w/kii and seira in the end, tho juri and hinaki or rin and madoka are runners-up.  there’s just s/t really wholesome abt the mutual support seira and kii give one another that’s right up my alley.
My favorite friendship between a group
- soleil (the unit, not the soleil i’m usually talking abt) has such a perfect dynamic--one of aikatsu’s biggest draws for me is just watching the three of them slowly grow up together, sans the skeevy nonsense a lot of other idol franchises have.  while it’s a pretty specific kind of dynamic, i do like a scenario where two childhood friends make friends w/a new person, and then all three of them find s/t new w/each other.
My favorite mentorship
- ichigo and akari’s mini-arc when akari was first introduced really got me emotional in terms of how ichigo had grown up enough to be a mentor herself.  despite all the idol hijinks, i think aikatsu at its core does a good job depicting what it’s like to be a middle/early high schooler, tho in an idealized sort of way.  even if ichigo herself doesn’t really see how much she’s grown up, a viewer who’s followed her from the start feels proud of her for how she supports/guides akari.  also, in more general terms, johnny’s dynamic w/literally every student gives me legitimate teacher Fee Fees lmao  i want to be that kind of teacher, tho maybe w/less dancing and ridiculous outbursts, haha.
My favorite rivalry
- i guess seira and ichigo kind of still count?  i think they strike a good balance between their potential working together and the friendly rivalry that pushes them both to grow.
My favorite hatred/antipathy
- does anyone actually hate anyone in aikatsu..........
My favorite potential relationship between characters who never talk in canon
- shion interacting w/the dreaca girls could be interesting?  maybe she does later on--i’m only on ep 104. ;;

A Vivid Training Camp♪ Event Scenario Ep 7-11
Episode 7
Interviewer: Today we'll be working with Akari Ozora, Sumire Hikami, and…
Juri: I'm Juri Kurebayashi. Nice to meet you!
Interviewer: The units Luminas and Passionate Jalapeno, which Hinaki-chan is in.
Hinaki: Yes, we have a shoot with everyone here today.
[Scene Transition]
Cameraman: We're ready! Please go first, Hinaki-chan.
Hinaki: Yes, coming~! Okay, see you later, guys!
Akari: Yeah, do your best~! Huh? Are you not going, Mr. Interviewer?
Interviewer: Yes, this is a rare opportunity, so I thought I'd ask everyone here a few questions.
Sumire: Us…?
Interviewer: Yes...From your point of view, what kind of person is Hinaki-chan?
Juri: I see, so it's a question that you can't ask in front of her! Well, first of all, she's my partner!
Sumire: Yeah, Juri-chan and Hinaki-chan truly feel like partners!
Akari: It's like they can read each others minds. Only they can pull that off!
Sumire: She's also really considerate. She just naturally supports you in many ways…
Akari: Yep, yep. She always looks at her surroundings and helps us.
Sumire: She's always working straight towards her goal of being the idol she wants to be.
Juri: Also,  she's actually super competitive! She actually has as passionate of a heart as me hidden underneath…
Akari: Yeah, I totally get what you mean! That gap…
Hinaki: Hmmm…?
Akari&Juri&Sumire: …!
Hinaki: And, and?
Juri: …..Huh, Hinaki?
Akari: H-Hinaki-chan? Y-You already finished your shoot…?
Hinaki: Yeah, I feel bad making you guys wait so I did my best...And rushed back as fast as I could, and what do you know...You guys...How...How dare you guys say such embarrassing things~!?
Akar&Juri&Sumire: Eeeeek~!!
[Scene Transition]
Hinaki: Ahaha! Those guys…
Interviewer: You sure are good friends.
Hinaki: Yes! They're always helping me out! There's a bunch of things I overcame because they were there...Oh no! It's getting late! I gotta water the miracle flower!
Interviewer: Let's hurry! Hinaki-chan!
Hinaki: Yes! Sorry for the rush!
Episode 8
Kayoko: Okay! Tomorrow's finally the day of the party! Since all three of us are here, let's just have a training camp like this!
Mikuru: Sounds great! It's almost time to water the miracle flower for the last time, so let's all do it together!
Hinaki: Yes! It'll be so exciting to see how it blooms with the three of us finishing it up!
Kayoko: Then let's have a meeting and eat until it's time!
[Scene Transition]
Mikuru: Kayokocchi was so funny when we were watering the flower~!
Hinaki: Ahaha! She was praying that it'll bloom beautifully the whole time.
Mikuru: Ah~ But to think today's the last day. It sure went by fast~
Hinaki: Yes~ I still can't really believe that tomorrow's the actual party.
Mikuru: There was a ton of stuff to do everyday, so~ Daily Aikatsu!, taking care of flowers, plus you also had preparations for your live tomorrow.
Hinaki: That's what I had fun doing, though.
Mikuru: Oh right, you also had the closeup coverage, huh.
Hinaki: Th-that's…
Mikuru: Ahaha♪ Did you get used to having the camera beside you all the time?
Hinaki: Ahahahaha...I decided to not worry about it anymore.
Mikuru: Yeah, that's probably a good idea♪ ...So, did you find it? The answer to what you were worrying about.
Hinaki: ...Remember what you said to me before? That the more care you put into flowers, the more beautiful they'll bloom. And that what's important is if you can put your all into something so you won't regret.
Mikuru: Yeah~ We were talking with just the two of us like now.
Hinaki: So, I was thinking. It’s like  the smiles of all our fans. The harder we try, the more beautifully they'll bloom.
Mikuru: Yeah, it's the same as Aikatsu!
Hinaki: If it's a live, they're right in front of you...Even for modeling, I can feel my fans smiling through the approval of the cameraman, but…
Mikuru: So that's why you were worried. They don't just give you approval when you're doing a closeup coverage.
Hinaki: Yes...But, I finally realized. The camera for the closeup coverage isn't connected to the present, but the future...In front of the TV in the future, I'm sure all my fans will be smiling. So I thought I just have to do my best like I always do.
Mikuru: Hehe, right! Yeah, I'm sure that's the case♪ But the flowers you'll be blooming tomorrow are the ones right in front of you! I'll do it with the miracle flower, and you…
Hinaki: Yes! With the stage.
Mikuru: Let's make them at full bloom tomorrow!
Hinaki: Yes♪
Episode 9
Hinaki: Haah, haaah…! Mikuru-san!
Mikuru: Oh, Hinaki…
Hinaki: Um, I heard from the staff that the miracle flower didn't bloom...Kayoko-san's occupied because the party's starting soon…
Mikuru: Thanks for coming even though your live is soon, too. This isn't good...Really, I wonder what's wrong? The bud is so big and the leaves are this healthy, too...But...Why isn't it blooming…?
Audience: Wow~!!
Mikuru: Oh, the party started...I'm over the time limit...I gotta apologize to Kayokocchi…
Hinaki: Mikuru-san...Not yet! There's still time! The more care you put into flowers, the more beautifully they'll bloom, right!?
Mikuru: Yeah, that's right, but…
Hinaki: I know for a fact! About how much work you put into taking care of it! So there's no way it won't bloom beautifully!
Mikuru: Hinaki…!
Hinaki: I'm sure it'll bloom soon! It's probably just a bit of a sleepyhead. So I'll wake it up!
Mikuru: Wake it up!? How!?
Staff: Hinaki-chan! Please get on stage!
Hinaki: Yes! Coming!
Mikuru: I see! So you're gonna wake it up with your live!
Hinaki: Mikuru-san! I'll make a miracle happen!
Mikuru: ...Huh?
Hinaki: Please watch Hinaki's miracle!
Mikuru: ! That's my line...Ahaha♪ Yeah! I'm counting on you! Can you wake up this sleepyhead with your super morning call?
Hinaki: Yes! Please leave it to me! Okay then, off I go!
Episode 10
Mikuru: It's over now…
Hinaki: Yes...It is…
Mikuru: I was watching the flowers you bloomed. The audience's smiles at full bloom. Plus...A large wreath of the miracle flower...Shining gold...Like a miracle.
Hinaki: You were the one who made it bloom.
Mikuru: No, it's you. I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to wake up that sleepyhead by myself.
Hinaki: Sleepyhead, huh...I wonder if that's why it grew so big?
Mikuru: Like that old saying that kids who sleep up grow big? Ahaha, maybe?
Kayoko: Geez, you two, you were the BEST! Thanks~!
Hinaki: Woah, Kayoko-san!
Kayoko: Gosh, the party was a huge success! This is like, totally thanks to you guys? Hinaki-chan's stage was like, the best, too! And Mikuru-chan's miracle flower, too! What was that!? That super cool flower that's all big and gold like the sun! Isn't that a first?
Mikuru: That flower bloomed thanks to Hinaki's miracle…
Hinaki: Like I said, it's Mikuru-sans'~…
Kayoko: Ahaha, I get it, I get it. Then it's thanks to both of your strengths combined!
Hinaki: Yes! If it wasn't for Mikuru-san, I would still be worrying! It's thanks to Mikuru-san teaching me so much!
Mikuru: ...Hinaki...Okay. Then that's settled.
Kayoko: Yeah, yeah! This flower's miracle wouldn't have happened if either one of you were missing!
Mikuru: Hmmm~...Kayokocchi, I don't think it's two.
Hinaki: Yes! Kayoko-san's needed, too!
Kayoko: Really? So it's like, a miracle from the three of us?
Hinaki: Yes, like, a miracle♪
Mikuru: Then let's make these miracles keep going from now on, too…!
Kayoko: Then, shall we do that?
Hinaki: Let's~!
Mikuru: One, two, three!
Kayoko&Mikuru&Hinaki: Let's show our miracle~!
Episode 11
TV: Hinaki Shinjo Documentary ~Fin~
Mizuki: Hehe, we really need to keep our eyes peeled for Shinjo now.
Mikuru: I know~ Hinaki's so cool~…
Mizuki: Why are you so down? It's cool Shinjo's closeup documentary.
Mikuru: I mean..Ugh~...I was supposed to be the teacher, too~
Mizuki: Teacher? Ooh, right, you were teaching her gardening.
Mikuru: But I was the one who ended up getting help. I'm a failure of a teacher~
Mizuki: Really? I don't think so.
Mikuru: No, I guess teaching is really hard after all~...But you're really amazing at it. You're always teaching and pulling everyone along.
Mizuki: Even I'm always desperately searching for something I can do. And...Don't you think you were a big help to Shinjo?
Mikuru: You say that, but if you ask if can be confident about it…
Mizuki: You're fine. I mean…
[Scene Transition]
Hinaki: Yes...Yes...A model job...Huh, at Paris!? Um, if the schedule's...Yes, I got it!
Akari: Wow, that's so cool~ Hinaki-chan.
Sumire: It's like the whole world is has its attention on her.
Madoka: That closeup documentary was so amazing.
Rin: It was full of Hinaki-senpai's charm.
Hinaki: No...That wasn't just me. It's all because of Kayoko-san, Mikuru-san, and you guys supporting me! Thank you so much!
Juri: Gracias! In other words, that's our line! I'm happy if I'm able to support you.
Hinaki: Right! Thanks, Juri♪ No matter the job, it's all Aikatsu! If I just work hard as I usually do, I'm sure beautiful flowers of smiles will bloom to match!
Akari: Yeah! You're right!
Madoka: It'd be so wonderful if you can bloom the hall full of flowers of smiles~!
Rin: Yeah! It'd be the best if you could see that view every time!
Sumire: We should do our best so we can see it every time…!
Akari: We still have so much to do! Aikatsu is so exciting!
Juri: ¡Divertido! We can show that we can overcome anything!
Hinaki: Alright~! I'll keep painting the world Hinaki-colour from now on, too~♪

A Vivid Training Camp♪ Event Scenario Ep 1-6
Episode 1
Kayoko: Yeah! Nice! You like, wanna try something like that for the party?
Hinaki: Yes! I'll do my best! I can't believe I get to do a live at a Vivid Kiss party…! Guh~! I'm so hyped!
Kayoko: Hehe♪ Hinaki-chan, you've been on a totally killing it lately! Super cool~!
Hinaki: You're too much! It's only because of Vivid Kiss dresses...Your dresses that I've been able to work so hard!
Kayoko: I'm like, so glad? You are my muse♪
Hinaki: Yes! I wanna work even harder so everyone can know about Vivid Kiss♪
Kayoko: Hehe, thanks! But I want everyone to know it's not just the dresses...But also that our model rules! So, here's like, a surprise for our hardworking Hinaki-chan?
Hinaki: A...Surprise…?
Kayoko: Yep! Remember the news coverage with the TV station from France?
Hinaki: Yes! When we had a training camp with Mikuru-san! Of course I remember! It's when you made my dress for the Starlight Queen Cup, right!?
Kayoko: Looks like the show was a big hit across the world, you know~
Hinaki: I see! I really could feel your passion and it made me love Vivid Kiss even more!
Kayoko: Thanks~ It was worth it for me, too~ But it wasn't just me that was a hit, you know?
Hinaki: Huh?
Kayoko: It means you're the centre of attention across the world, too!
Hinaki: Whaat~!? Me too!?
Kayoko: Yep, you too! They're all like, “Who's that idol~”! It's like, thanks to you and Mikuru-chan that the show was a big hit.
Hinaki: I'm happy to hear you say that, but...The world...Huh~ Maybe it just kinda feels surreal…?
Kayoko: Then isn't this a chance for you to look around the world? Actually, like, that station sent in an offer? They said they wanna make a documentary about you!
Hinaki: A documentary...About me…?
Kayoko: Yep! And a closeup coverage like the last one!
Hinaki: Closeup...Coverage…? Wait, whaaat!?
Episode 2
Hinaki: Whaat~!? A Closeup coverage of me?
Kayoko: Yep! Mikuru-chan jumped out into the world with the Gardener's World Cup. If we get you out there and active in the world, I'd like, totally be happy~! It's like, I can get the world to know my muse?
Hinaki: Kayoko-san…
Kayoko: They said they wanna cover you challenging against the live for the Vivid Kiss party as the muse.
Hinaki: Ah, I see~…
Kayoko: I like, totally want you to take up the offer!
Hinaki: Please let me! It's an honour to have people around the world watch me!
Kayoko: That's my girl! I'll give a reply then. Hinaki-chan's good for the closeup coverage...There.
Hinaki: Closeup coverage, huh~ Um, if it's like for Kayoko-san that time, then...Hmmm~…
Kayoko: Oh, what's up?
Hinaki: Oh, no, um...Not a big deal, but...For a closeup coverage...What should I be showing…?
Kayoko: ? What should you be showing?
Hinaki: I had more modeling and live jobs for my Aikatsu! up until now, and they're clear with what they want...And I've worked hard to respond to that.
Kayoko: Yep, that's right. I think you've been working very hard.
Hinaki: Ehehe...Thank you very much. But the closeup coverage this time…
Kayoko: Well~ It's a closeup coverage, so I assume they wanna see just the way you are?
Hinaki: Just how I am...The way that I am that they wanna see...I wonder what it is…?
Kayoko: Hmmm~, sure is something only idols have to worry about~ Maybe another idol would know?
Hinaki: Another idol?
Kayoko: Yep! Like, rather than ask me, a designer, maybe you'll find the answer faster by asking a friend in the same position?
Hinaki: Oh...That's right! I'll ask my friends!
Kayoko: Good! I'm looking forward to what kinda answer you'll give!
Episode 3
Hinaki: ...So that's what happened.
Akari: Closeup coverage, huh~ I would be kinda worried, too.
Sumire: But it's amazing you got an offer from a foreign TV station.
Juri: ¡Enhorabuena! In other words, congratulations!
Hinaki: Ehehe...Thanks, guys.
Madoka: Hinaki-senpai's been to Mexico as Passionate Jalapeno, too, so…
Rin: She's already a world-class idol!
Hinaki: Ahaha, you're embarrassing me with all this praise~ I'm happy, but…
Yuu: So the problem's the closeup part?
Hinaki: Yeah, I don't understand what to do anymore…
Juri: Don't you just have to act as you usually do?
Hinaki: Well~ If it was an interview that would be fine, but a closeup makes it kinda…
Akari: Yeah~ I bet I would feel the same. Like, “What's my usual self like?”
Sumire: Hmmm~, I think I'm the same, too…
Madoka: You're all so wonderful the way you are so you should just stay like that~
Akari: Wouldn't you worry, Madoka-chan?
Madoka: Not that much, I think~ What about you, Rin?
Rin: Huh, me? I...Hmmm~…? I dunno…?
Sumire: Rin-chan wouldn't know until she's actually in that position, huh?
Rin: Yes...That's probably true…
Madoka: Hehe♪ That's so like you.
Juri: Yes, there's nothing to worry about…! I just! Have to show! My usual passionate self!
Hinaki: Well, if only I could think like you…
Juri: Geez, you're just thinking too much!
Yuu: Yeah, I think I'm more like Juri-chan and them, too~
Akari: You wouldn't worry either, Yuu-chan?
Yuu: Not quite, but...Well, you know how I'm in a lot of tourism shows?
Hinaki: Oh yeah, the camera's always on roll for those shows, so...It's kinda like a closeup.
Yuu: Right! Well, I was confused all the time at first, so I get being worried~
Sumire: We can't just say, “Time to train!” like always, either…
Akari: It's not practice if we take the video, either…
Everyone: Hmmm~…
Episode 4
Hinaki: Good morning~…
Kayoko: Welcome, Hinaki-chan! You like, have perfect timing?
Mikuru: Ah, it's Hinaki! Long time no see!
Hinaki: Mikuru-san! It's been awhile!
Kayoko: I was just giving her an order. For the sweetest miracle party for the party, you see.
Hinaki: Miracle flower? Is that…!
Kayoko: Yep, I ordered one from her last time, too.
Mikuru: When I got my first premium dress from Kayokocchi, right?
Kayoko: That miracle flower was like, totally cool~? Give me one like that again!
Mikuru: Of course! I'll be sure to deliver you the golden miracle flower this time! It became rainbow-coloured last time, so.
Kayoko: Oh, like, it's totally fine for me if it's rainbow this time, too?
Mikuru: No, no, I'll definitely make it golden this time!
Hinaki: Um, if I remember correctly, the miracle flower...Changes colours depending on how you take care of it, right?
Mikuru: Yep, that's right. To make it golden you have to water it at the right time everyday. If you're off by even a little bit, it won't turn gold.
Hinaki: Ack~ That sounds difficult~…
Mikuru: But the more care you put into flowers, the more beautiful they'll become♪
Kayoko: But, Mikuru-chan, are you sure? You're busy with both idol and flower shop work right now, right? I know you're a hardworking kid, but…
Mikuru: Ahaha...True, but...But it's fun, so it's okay!
Kayoko: Isn't it about time you get a helper around for the flower shop?
Mikuru: Hmmm~...I wanna be the one who takes care of it if possible, so...Plus, I'm kinda bad at teaching…
Kayoko: Oh~, I get you! Like, they just don't get it?
Mikuru: Yeah, yeah! It just hits me like that but they're just all, “Huh?” sometimes.
Hinaki: I know what you mean~! When it just doesn't get through to other people...I try to change my words when that happens so they understand!
Kayoko: That's our Hinaki-chan! She's like, totally cool?
Mikuru: Yep, yep! That's right! There's not many kids who can do that, you know~? Maybe if I meet someone like you, I'll ask them for help~
Hinaki: ….Um! I'd like to help! Please let me be your helper, Mikuru-san!
Episode 5
Hinaki: I'll...I'll help…!
Mikuru: …! Hinaki…
Hinaki: I don't know anything about flowers...But I'll help with all I can! I mean, it'd be so sad to have the party without your flowers!
Mikuru: ...Hinaki...Then let's go all out!
Hinaki: Yes! Let's!
Kayoko: Sounds great! That's a super good idea~! Just you two pairing up makes such a vivid picture, but...To think it's not on stage, but for gardening. It's like, totally cool how unpredictable it is!
Mikuru: Ahaha, I'd love to do a live, too, but...Maybe next time.
Hinaki: Yes! First, I gotta take care of flowers with you for Kayoko-san's party!
Kayoko: ...Hehe. But Hinaki-chan, aren't you forgetting something?
Hinaki: Huh? Forgetting…?
Kayoko: It's getting totally interesting, so I'd like you to continue like this, but…
Hinaki&Mikuru: ?
Kayoko: The closeup documentary! Right?
Hinaki: Aaah~ I forgot~!
Mikuru: Closeup documentary?
[Scene Transition]
Mikuru: Wow~! A closeup documentary, huh! Yeah, that sounds fun!
Kayoko: Right~!? This solves Hinaki-chan's troubles, too♪
Mikuru: Troubles...What do you mean?
Hinaki: Oh, that's...I was wondering what I should do to get how I just am across for what the closeup coverage wants...Once I started thinking about what I should show for my usual self...I started to get confused…
Mikuru: I see...But you know, Hinaki! Showing your first time gardening for a closeup coverage is really wild and Hinaki-like♪
Hinaki: ...Really?
Kayoko: Absolutely! And it's like, you're not gardening for work, but because you feel like it, right? Isn't that part of your usual self?
Hinaki: ...Oh yeah...That's right…! Okay! Yeah! Mikuru-san, I'll be in your care!
Mikuru: Yep! Let's do our best! Hinaki!
Episode 6
Interviewer: Alright then, Hinaki-chan, we'll be starting the shoot for the coverage now. It's a documentary so please try to not pay attention to the camera and be your usual self.
Hinaki: Okay, I understand. I'll be in your care!
Interviewer: Alright then, start! So, Hinaki-chan, why did you want to do gardening this time?
Hinaki: Ahaha...Ummm~, to tell you the truth…
[Scene Transition]
Hinaki: And that's what happened.
Interviewer: I see, so you said you would do it without really thinking…
Hinaki: It was a sudden thought I had that the party would definitely be more fun if it had the miracle flower.
Interviewer: Fun? Even though it's just a flower?
Hinaki: Yes! Having pretty flowers would make the hall brighter, so wouldn't everyone just have more fun?
Interviewer: I see~! But it's amazing of you to say you'll help right there.
Hinaki: Ahaha...Part of it might be also because I just really wanted to help Mikuru-san.
Mikuru: Me? Why?
Hinaki: There's that I wanted to thank you for helping me last time, too, but...I just wanted to do something together again. Remember last time? Wasn't it fun?
Mikuru: Last time...Oh~! Painting Kayokocchi's cottage walls! Yeah, yeah, that was so fun! We sure went wild~♪
Hinaki: Yes♪ So I wanted to do something wild with you again.
Mikuru: Ahaha♪ Then we gotta grow some super flashy flowers this time♪
Hinaki: Yes! So please take care of me, Master Mikuru!
Mikuru: ….Hinaki, let's...Stop with the master, okay?
Hinaki: Huh, are you sure? Then...Mikuru-sensei?
Mikuru: Ummm~...I'm not the teacher type, either~…Can't you just call me Mikuru-san like always?
Hinaki: It isn't everyday we get to do something like this, so I thought it'd bring some mood in if I changed how I call you…
Mikuru: I-I see~...I've never been called something like that before, so~ It feels funny, but Mikuru-sensei, huh~...Sensei's gonna do her best to teach you! But since it's about flowers, I'm gonna be strict!
Hinaki: Yes, please! Mikuru-sensei!

Moon Desert Rhapsody Event Scenario Ep 7-11
Episode 7
Seira: Yaa~!
Kii: Hyaa~!
Maria: Haah~!
[Scene Transition]
Seira: Okay! That went pretty well, I think!
Kii: I'm so surprised~! This has gotta be the result of special training, right!?
Maria: It's amazing the Sudden Death-style training has this much effect! I'm glad we worked so hard♪
Seira: Y-Yeah…
Kii: R-Right..?
Maria: What's wrong, you guys?
Seira: I do think it's good we did this, but…
Kii: [Sobbing] It was so tough~!
Seira: Yeah...I'm happy they all helped us out, but…
Maria: Oh, right. Seira you were attacked by Noelle-chan too, right?
Seira: Yeah...I can't help but let my guard down because she's my little sister…
Maria: Hehe, Noelle-chan was all, “Sis, prepare yourself~!” She was all fired up and attacked you so many times.
Seira: Yeah...Right…
Kii: It's with your little sister. Of course you would let your guard down sometimes!
Maria: Kii-chan's, well…
Seira: Brain Thunder, huh…
Kii: Yeah~! I'm totally useless without that~! It's so mean of them to attack me while I'm drinking it~!!
Seira: Th-there, there...They gave you some instead, right?
Kii: Yeah, but~ Ugh…
Maria: But because we overcame those walls...We managed to mature this much.
Seira: Yeah! I'm so glad we worked hard and trained!
Maria: I wonder if we can meet Sora's expectations now?
Seira: If we keep this up and work harder, then definitely!
Kii: Yeah...You're right! We gotta work hard for Sora-chan, too! Fi-fi-fight! Yeah~ yeah~ yeah♪
Seira&Maria: Yeah~!
Episode 8
Ran: Alright, break time's over! Let's start training again!
Seira&Friends: Yes, Chairman!
Seira: Yaa!
Kii: Haah!
Maria: Hyaa~!
[Scene Transition]
Sora: Wow~…
Ran: Huh, Sora?
Sora: Ah, Ran-chan. Is it okay if I take a peek at your training?
Ran: Of course. But are you sure you don't wanna talk to them?
Sora: Yeah, they look really focused and I would feel bad bothering them.
Ran: I feel like it would make them focus even more rather than bother them, though. They're all, “We're gonna show Sora the best acting ever!”
Sora: Ooh...Hehe, I'm excited for the real thing.
Ran: How are things going on your end? Getting progress?
Sora: Right...To tell you the truth, I'm kinda stuck. It's my first time producing the overall art direction for a stage play, so I can't help but think stuff like, “Is this really okay?” a lot…
Ran: I see...Stuff like that happens when it's your first time.
Sora: That's why I thought if I watched everyone train maybe I could find a clue or something? But, then...But now that I've seen this training…!
Ran: Did you find it?
Sora: Yep, no problem! I can't lose either, so.
Ran: Are you leaving already?
Sora: Yeah! I thought of a good idea. So I wanna start forming it as fast as possible.
Ran: Guess that's that, then. I kinda want you to watch more, but...Your Aikatsu! stage is in the back right now.
Sora: Yeah, like how everyone's is on stage. See you, them, Ran-chan. Don't tell them I came by.
Ran: Okay, got it. I'll do that. Okay...We gotta work hard to not lose even more…!
Episode 9
Student A: Hey, hey, did you get tickets to Shibuki-senpai's play!?
Student B: Duh! I went soo hard getting them~
Akari: Wow~ Everyone's so excited~ They just keep talking about Shibuki-senpai's play these days!
Sumire: Hehe♪ You too, Akari-chan.
Hinaki: Yeah, yeah! It's evident that you just can't wait, you know~?
Akari: I mean! It's a stage play led by that Shibuki-senpai, you know? And DreAca's Sora Kazesawa is producing the art! And on top of that, even Hoshimiya-senpai's in it! I can't not go see it!
Hinaki: Ahaha! I knew for Akari-chan that it was she just can't miss Hoshimiya-senpai.
Akari: Of course Hoshimiya-senpai is important, too, but the this play~...Oh! Right! Wanna watch a drama in our room right now?
Hinaki: Sure! Gonna review the story?
Sumire: Then maybe I'll prepare some tea and snacks.
Akari: Wow~♪ Thanks, Sumire-chan! Then let's go~!
[Scene Transition]
Johnny: Yeah! Shibuki's play is becoming a very hot topic, Academy Mother!
Naoto: Yes. It's all that everyone's talking about in my class, too. Seems like a lot of students are going to see it, too.
Orihime: Hehe...It's only natural. I mean, us Starlight Academy, the traditional school that has supported the Aikatsu World for decades...And Dream Academy, which has a completely different approach in raising idols and appeared like a new star...Shibuki and her friends are the top idols of these two schools who represent the Aikatsu World, aren't they? And it's a play with those idols being featured together. It's not possible for it to not get attention.
Johnny: Oh~ That's our Academy Mother.
Orihime: Did Headmistress Tiara say anything?
Naoto: Yes. She called me and was very happy. It was her dream to gather attention and excitement for Aikatsu!, so.
Johnny: But...The more hype it gets, the more society will expect…Now it's up to whether if Shibuki and her friends can live up to the expectations.
Orihime: Hehe...Isn't that the one thing that you don't need to worry about? Those kids will definitely be fine.
Naoto: That's true.
Episode 10
Seira: Fidget...Fidget...
Ichigo: Exciting...♪ Exciting...♪
Kii: Badump♪ Badump♪
Otome: I can't keep still~♪
Ran: Geez, calm down a little, guys.
Ichigo: But Ran! It's almost the real thing!
Seira: And Sora's costumes still aren't here yet!
Ran: Are you guys worried they won't arrive on time...Or something? Your grinning faces don't exactly express worry.
Kii: Ehehe...Well, it's Sora-chan we're talking about.
Aoi: Yeah, she'll definitely make it on time!
Otome: Sora-chan will be just fine!
Ran: I know. We're all thinking the same thing.
Maria: It is Sora we're talking about♪
Seira: Yeah, I'm sure she's almost…
[Fade out to Sora running down the hall]
Sora: Guys! Sorry for the wait!
Everyone: Sora!
Sora: I'll hand out everyone's costumes right now!
Everyone: Wow~!!
[Scene Transition]
Kii: These costumes are amazing!! That's our Sora-chan!!
Seira: I knew they were gonna be amazing, but...It's more than I thought!
Otome: It's so love you~ yep~♪
Aoi: Guuh~! Everyone in these costumes...Is way to special~!
Ran: Sora...You finished these perfectly, huh.
Sora: No, those costumes aren't finished yet.
Maria: What~!? But they're so beautiful.
Sora: Well, for these costumes...After everyone has worn them while standing on stage...Then they're finally finished for the first time.
Kii: I see…
Ichigo: You did make these for us to wear them…
Seira: So that's why they're not finished until we wear them…
Ran: Sora...We'll finish these costumes. We'll take them on stage...No, that's not right. We'll take you on stage!
Sora: Yeah! Take me with you. I'll be watching for sure.
Ran: Yeah! Alright, let's go, guys…!
Everyone: Yeah~!
Episode 11
Audience: Wow~♪♪♪
Seira: Phew~ It's over now…
Kii: It sure is~!
Otome: It was so fun~♪
Maria: Yeah, I'm so glad♪ That we got to stand with Sora on stage at the end, too.
Sora: Geez...I got so scared, you know?
Ran: We were actually talking about it before. To call you on stage for the curtain call.
Otome: Our surprise was a huge success~♪
Maria: I mean, you didn't come watch us train at all.
Sora: W-Well…
Ran: Ahaha, well, that's just how it is. Plus, we wanted to call you on stage, too. You were the pillar to our success, after all.
Sora: No...It's thanks to you guys. I only helped a bit from the outside.
Ran: Don't say from the outside. You're our friend.
Otome: Yes! You're our friend~!
Ichigo: Gosh~ That's our Chairman~
Aoi: Our reliable leader speaks such high words~
Ichigo: Yo, Chairman Ran~!
Ran: ……. You~! Ichigo, Aoi!
Ichigo&Aoi: Eeeek~♪
Ran: Whoa, there...I'm not letting you go today, got it?
Ichigo: Huh?
Aoi: U-Uhhh~...Ran-san?
Ran: Ichigo! Scene 15! You started moving too late!
Ichigo: Yes! I'm so sorry!
Ran: Aoi! Scene 38! Your acting for being attacked was lukewarm!
Aoi: Yes! I'm sorry!
Ran: There's more! Next…
Ichigo: W-Wait, Ran~!
Aoi: Please forgive us~!
Sora: ...Hehe♪ Looks like the swordswoman grew stronger since last time. I tried working hard, too, but...I wonder if the princess grew a bit stronger, too?
Kii: But of-of-of course~♪ Right, guys?
Seira: Yeah! Of course!
Maria: Yeah!
Sora: Guys...Hehe, thanks♪
