Summary: As Hiryu Rin and his friend Tsuburaba watch (F/n) (L/n) go against their class during Joint Training, he can’t help but wonder what he did to deserve her.

“Man, she is so hot,” Tsuburaba practically drooled from beside Rin as they both watched her fight with Mina Ashido against Kodai and Yanagi from their class. Rin could feel his eye start to twitch from annoyance.

“Honestly, how did you bag her? What’s your secret?” The brunette questioned, looking at him in disbelief.

“Uh,” Rin felt sweat drip down his forehead as he smiled awkwardly. “I-”

“Crap, we lost!” Tsuburaba suddenly interrupted as he looked at the screen in disappointment.

Rin didn’t bother to hide his grin as he saw his girl’s excitement. He was proud of her. He then looked down at the ground, face softening.

What had he done to deserve her?

Soon after all the students moved into the dorms, Rin met (F/n) (L/n). He had already known she was a beauty whenever he had faced her in the Cavalry Battle in the Sports Festival, but had never really seen her up close until then. And then she started to show interest in him of all people.

It started with random compliments in passing. She’d compliment his hero costume, tell him his quirk was really cool, say his hair was pretty, his fighting style was cool, etc.

And then by some chance of fate, he was paired with her during an activity with class 1A. He couldn’t help but notice the way she blushed around him, or would stutter over her words, or her inability to hold eye contact. It made him wonder if he was seeing things. Either way, somehow he worked up the courage to ask her out on a date, fully expecting her to decline like she had done with most of the guys in their grade…

But she said yes.

Which brings us to now.

Rin watched in irritation as Hitoshi Shinso walked up to her with a slight blush.

“Hey, would you like to get some dinner with me?”

(F/n) looked over at Rin as he huffed.

“I’m already dating someone,” she gave a small sympathetic smile.

“Who?” He questioned in disbelief.

“Hiryu,” (F/n) pointed over to the long-haired male as he waved awkwardly.

Shinso’s eyes widened in disbelief as he looked away, muttering, “Whatever,” and walking off.

She shrugged and practically skipped over to her boyfriend.

“Hi, love,” she grinned brightly.

“Hey,” he blushed. “You were great out there.”

“Thanks,” her cheeks turned a pinkish color.

“Hey, (F/n)!”

She looked over in question before smiling, “Hi, Tsuburaba.”

Said boy’s face reddened. “You were awesome out there… like always,” he chuckled.

“Thank you!”

Rin could only purse his lips as he looked at his friend incredulously.

(F/n)’s (e/c) eyes met his as he felt his face heat up once more. She took his hands in her own.

“You wanna grab something to eat?” She asked sweetly.

“Sure,” he smiled.

What he had done to deserve this, he wasn’t sure. But he’d hold onto her for as long as he could.

Awase -

Completely shattered, that nomu that almost killed him and Yaoyorozu in the forest was caused by you feeding the Lov information. He starts questioning every moment you two have ever had together. He honestly gets pissed at himself and you and everyone around him because he doesn't know how to handle it.

Sen -

He loved taking pictures of the two of you. You two had an entire photo album dedicated to all the little moments, every time you beat him in your favorite card game or that little drawing eri did of you two being held up by you. All of those memories captured with the same camera you got him for his birthday are now being turned to ash in a fireplace. He cant help but be still while something once so important suddenly means nothing to him.

Kamakiri -

He was the loudest when he realized. He couldn't stop him self from screaming at you for what youve done. He hates you. Youve almost killed him and his classmates ten times over but that wont stop him from wanting you to stay. Deep down he wanted it all to be a cruel prank you were pulling. But it never was.

Kuroiro -

He tried to keep it together. He really did. But at the end of the day he was barely able to make it to his dorm room in time before he broke down completely. His nonchalant front, completely shattered. He sobbed to the point he was choking on his tears. You were one of the only people who he really cared for, so why did you betray him like this?

Kendo -

She tries to save you. She tries to understand why you did this. Were they forcing you? Are they keeping someone close to you hostage? Are you being manipulated or controlled? The more she tries to understand, the more questions she askes the harder it becomes to understand her as she starts to breakdown at your feet.

Kodai -

She didnt say anything but she truly wanted too. She wanted to yell, scream and cry. She wanted to hit you for what you put the class through but she wanted to hug you as you were dragged away in cuffs. She was so conflicted about what she wanted to do. Her brain and heart were arguing over you but in the end she just ended up doing nothing, which ended up hurting a lot more than it should have.

Komori -

She seems more confused and in denial than anything else at first. She starts to distance herself from people and holes herself up in her room while she tries to understand what happened. Was everything you two did together meaningless? She could never forgive you for what you did, she hated you but at the same time she wanted you to walk through her dorm room door ranting about your new favorite thing like you always did.

Shiozaki -

Shes not mad or even that sad about your betrayal. Just disappointed. She would try to understand and she truly wants to forgive you, but she cant bring herself to do that. She would distance herself from everyone and it would take a while before shes ready to move forward again.

Shishida -

He tried to keep it together but it was really hard for him to do that since he was feeling hundreds of emotions in seconds. His breathing became uneven as he tried to assess the situation from a logical perspective and his voice breaks as he simply asks you "why?"

Shoda -

He really values trust so when you betrayed all of UA he was never the same. He tried to recover but he keeps everyone at arms length. When you first left, he was on the more 'ok' side of things. But after a few weeks and what happened had time to sink in is when it hits the hardest.

Pony -

She cant stop herself from screaming at you while tears run down her face. She switched to english because its easier for her so no one knew exactly what she was saying to you. Even if you could speak english you wouldent understand what she was saying between the sniffles and gasps of air.

Tsubaraba -

Hes in denial for so long when it originally happened. When you were officially revealed as the traitor he thought it was a joke. He started to calmly talk to you with simple phrases like "jokes like that arnt that funny yk." But over the next minute it would turn in to him begging for it to be a joke while completely breaking down in front of you.

Tetsutetsu -

He does everything he can to get answers out of you. Some other classmates of his have to hold him back from running over to you and punching you square in the stomach. He ends up staying in the UA gym for a few hours after curfew, beating a punching bag in anger and confusion until eventually he wears himself out and collapsed from exhaustion.

Tokage -

She wants to know why you did it. If there was a reason she could find it in herself to forgive you but if not, it would become better for her to act like you never exist. For a long time after that she would leave when your name was mentioned or anything that reminded her of you would suddenly be destroyed or hated by her as much as she hates you. Deep down however, she still wants to be you friend

Manga -

He blames himself more than he blames you. Hes supposed to be a hero so why couldn't he save the one person he cared about the most. Youre gone forever now and he blames ever but of it on himself. He cries a lot for the next couple weeks and sometimes he can feel himself wanting to send you a funny meme he found only to remember and go through all the heartbreak all over again.

Honenuki -

Another that blames it all on himself but at the same time he is really depressed about it. He heals for the most part but part of him still gets a little wave of sadness whenever he walks past your favorite cafe or when someone does that very specific hand movement that you used to do all the time. Every part of the situation breaks his being completely, and he even becomes slightly more hostile towards the people he spars with.

Bondo -

He stays silent for the most part. His silence being a mixture of disbelief and hurt. He even tries to help the rest of the class through it. He becomes the class therapist while he ends up insisting hes fine and dealing with it alone in his dorm room. He cant bring himself to destroy the memories of you so he simply puts them in a box and hides them under his bed.

Monoma -

Incredibly angry about it at first but the more time that passes the more it hurts him. The more he starts to blame himself. If he had an inferiority complex before it definitely worsened now that you betrayed him. You helped him through so much yet he cant help but feel it was all nothing to you.

Reiko -

she handles it better when in front of the class, or at least she tries too. She broke down once you were revealed, she broke down when you left and she breaks down every time shes behind closed doors. She cant handle seeing anyone right now.

Rin -

He keeps calm at first and tries to rationalize. "Were you forced to against your will? Were you being controlled? Brainwashed?" With every 'no' to his questions he became more and more desperate to prove you werent evil. He started to lose his cool and break down in front of you while still begging for any sign that your not evil. At the end of the day he finds himself grabbing onto a random stuffed animal you left in his dorm and using it to muffle his tear filled screams.

Bro imma be honest half of these characters I had no idea what to write. So half of them are probably bad but im not gonna proof read or change this because we die like men.

RIN WITH AN FTM READER

romance *can* be implied, but it is also able to be taken as platonic! unfortunately can’t @ an anon user since i already answered the ask but uh, hopefully they see this!

Rin doesn’t start off with completely understanding this part of you, incredibly far from it; in fact, but he is willing to learn. His natural curiosity drives him, as he hadn’t really personally encountered many trans people other than you in his life due to his upraising, much less someone he knew quite closely.

When you first come out to him, you will most likely have to be quite direct about it, especially since he only knows basic terminology, some of it a little outdated. Despite this, once he understands; he is very respectful of what preferences you’d like, especially when bringing in others who may not be aware.

it takes him a little while to get used to your new pronouns or name, but he also catches himself every time once you tell him if he slips up, then he corrects himself and apologizes; it gets a lot easier for him as time goes on and integrating it into his life.

Rin is willing to part from his jackets and sweaters to give to you if you express that you’re feeling distraught with dysphoria about your chest or arms. They are incredibly warm, comfortable, and usually a little larger in size on him, even ~~as he doesn’t like that what would usually be his size hugs his own arms a little too *tightly*~~

If you show an interest in working out to look more masculine, he is willing to let you join with his own training. (I will forewarn people on this, he will try to slow down to match your pace and go easy on you at first, but it is quite difficult. His training consists of almost solely strength training with his martial arts, as he doesn’t often think about the aesthetic of his physique in that way.)

He would also direct you to Kamakiri and Tetsutetsu in that sense, and hey; those two beefheads hella know their way around the gym (CANONICAL GYM PALS!! gotta write about that sometime) and would also be hella supportive in both your gym journey and wherever you’d want to take your transition.

Moving around this subject, he tries his best to research and read about what it’s like being trans both from a research standpoint and accounts of other experiences, as he doesn’t experience this feeling himself; but he would at least would want to try and *understand.*

He asks you some of these questions personally as well, but he understands your need and want for privacy, so unless you’re open about it, he won’t pry.

Finally, (and the most important by far) is that while he understands that being trans is only a certain facet of your person as a whole, and he welcomes it with open arms; enjoying you as a person and trying his very best to give you both support when you ask for it and space if you need it.

I hesitate to write a tidbit scenario- as there are both many different ways to touch on this topic, and many different ways to be trans! (i would like to avoid either projecting my own experience onto it, or generalizing the experience a little too much.) if anyone wants to ask for something even more specific than this, feel free to send them in! Class 1B and how they embarrassed themselves in front of their crushes (guys):

Awase Yousetsu learned to dance from Mina and was excited to show you. Called out to you and some of the others in the common room from the second floor hallway to “check out some fucking amazing moves”, then tripped over his own feet and went tumbling down the stairs. Landed face first and refused to lift up his head to look you in the eyes, even after you ran over to ask if he was okay.

Kaibara Sen and you were gardening together. He was helping you dig so he used his quirk to show off be more efficient. He drilled his arm into the dirt and oops he’s stuck. Laughs a little at first but he actually can’t get it out. The more he activates it the deeper it goes until the soil is well past his elbow. Has to sit there like an idiot until you return with a trowel- the very same one he said you “wouldn’t need” because his quirk was supposedly better.

Kamakiri Togaru was helping you cook and also used his quirk to try to impress you. It was your turn for dinner duty and he jumped at the chance to spend time with you. You two were cooking chicken with lemon butter sauce for the whole dorm. Turns out when you retract the blade back into your skin from just cutting a lemon it burns like a bitch. Let out the most unholy scream and scared the daylights out of you.

Kurorio Shihai and Tokoyami are poetic brothers. That and he likes taboos. He shows up outside your dorm room at midnight sharp because he thought it was more romantic that way. He’s holding a piece of lined paper, trying to read you a poem he wrote. But you have no clue what he’s talking about, using all these big fancy words you don’t understand. ☠️ Scary Night Man is visibly shaking in front of you, the hallway completely silent aside from his stuttering and the occasional crinkle of paper.

Shishida Jurota actually tried to meme with the class in the group chat. Unfortunately, he didn’t know what the words meant so he sounded like a whole ass boomer. Like when your dad misuses modern slang to sound cool in front of your friends. The guys still haven’t let him live it down. They have screenshots and everything.

Shoda Nirengeki tried to show you how much you meant to him by cooking your favorite things in the dorm kitchen. Thought you’d love to wake up to the smell of your favorite food wafting up to where you sleep. Instead you woke up to a fire alarm, and Shoda standing in the middle of all the carnage. Tried to offer you a bowl of cereal as a peace offering later.

Tsuburaba Kosei would do just about anything for you, so it’s more what didn’t he do to try and impress you. There’s just so many instances of him doing stupid shit. But one of the most iconic moments would probably have to be when the class went on a hike, and he found some cat tail reeds growing by a swamp. Picked one up and told you he “found some wild glizzies” before chomping into it like a corn dog. Pollen went everywhere, and he accidentally spit some in your face.

Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu has tried to prove how strong his quirk was by letting the guys fucking throw him like a damn bowling ball. Shishida did the best job in his opinion, followed closely by Bondo, but now there’s a giant hole in the drywall of the common room, and Vlad wasn’t too thrilled about it, making him clean it all up.

Fukidashi Manga tried impressing you by reading up and binge-watching your favorite shows and comics. All in one night. The next morning, running on zero sleep, he tried to impress you from what he’s read/watched and got most of the stuff wrong because his brain was pretty much toast from the all nighter and numerous energy drinks. Passed out in the middle of the day, and The Bois TM had to drag him to the nearest couch.

Honenuki Juzo offered to give you a massage after a long day of training. Grateful to have some sort of relief, you told him where the main knots were and sat down in front of him. This was the closest he’s ever been to you, so he was (understandably) nervous. As a result, he accidentally rubbed too hard in the wrong places and made it worse. Eventually you’ve had enough and say you’ll just take a hot shower and he feels so guilty🥺 You reassure him that it’s not so bad but every time you move he can see you fighting back painful noises. Definitely haunts him at night as he stares up at the ceiling asking himself “why are you like this”.

Bondo Kojiro was trying to impress you by lifting things up easily since you admired how strong he was. It started off normal enough, from bags you couldn’t carry to even giving you a piggyback ride to your room after you fell asleep on the couch downstairs during class movie night. But holy shit now he’s showing off by holding half the class in his arms, and ends up dropping them all because it was just Too Much. Everyone was covered in bruises and grumbling about the fall and he felt guilty for weeks after. The fact that you weren’t one of them does offer some peace of mind for him though, and Kendo is quick to remind him of this :’)

Monoma Neito copied your quirk for shits and giggles thinking he’d “show you how it’s done”. You warned him about the side effects, but his pride wouldn’t let him see reason and he made sure he had all eyes on him before activating your quirk. It went alright for about a minute or so, and then it started to act up. He couldn’t get a handle on it at all, destroying everything around the room while the guys laughed at him and you panicked. He got his ass handed to him just as you predicted, and mocking him quickly became an inside joke among some of your classmates.

Rin Hiryu is naturally cold blooded as a result of his quirk. He always has to be bundled up in the colder months or his immune system will turn against him. And yet, when it started raining on your way back from a grocery run for the week’s dinner, like a gentleman he shrugged his jacket off and insisted that you wear it. Of course you turned him down, you knew he’d get sick, but he refused to put it back on, throwing it over you and zipping it up. Sure enough, he ended up with a cold the next day, but the only lesson he learned was that getting sick means you dote on him until he’s better. 🤦

Hiryu freezes, gaze caught on the scar at the base of your neck and reaches out to touch it. You tilt your head, but don’t move away from his touch, curious as to why he looks so strangely startled. 

“Where did you get this?” He asks in a whisper, stroking over the scar for a second time. 

“The scar?” You ask, reaching back to brush the edge. “It’s not mine, it’s-” You hesitate, because neither of you has ever really taken the time to discuss soulmates and what you think of them. 

“It’s mine,” he says quietly, fiercely and leans his forehead upon your shoulder. Shock and joy fill you, in equal measures, but it isn’t until he’s kissing you that you let joy win out.

Class was normal to say the least, basic class schedule, learning, being bored. Actually sitting in a classroom all day was hellishily boring.

Juzo let out a groan whilst stretching his aching back, looking at the clock. "It's only been an hour?. Damn."

Ruffling his own hair he quickly got back to work. He may have been admitted through recommendations and has a great set of skills, but sitting around? Not his piece of cake. Turning around he saw (Name) sitting silently at her desk with a graceful smile on her face. She couldn't of looked any cuter.

Her tounge sticking out, she probably doesn't even notice it while she scribbles down in the exam given to them. Before he knew it lunch bell had rung, a break desperately needed from the class mates. Once a quiet class soon filled with "hoorays" and "food" exclamations from his fellow classmates. He put his stuff up accordingly to get back to when class resumed.

"Hey (name)! You wanna sit with us at lunch?." Pony asked jumping by her while she got her lunch out fron her bag. "Um. I was going to eat with Juzo today." He walked up briskly before shaking his head slowly.

"Nah it's okay, me and the guys were gonna sit up on the roof if you want to watch with the girls I won't mind." He smiled before helping her out of her seat. Pony beamed with utter happiness before swiftly yanking you from your seat and running off with you.

When lunch was over Juzo, shihai and monoma were discussing class work before a horror screech was heard from the halls. One might assume a villain had come through and attacked. Most of everyone stood looking around confused. But Juzo recognized the scream belonged to (Name) and immediately went to fight mode. He ran down the hall leaving his friends

Running into the class he looked over to the far end and seen (Name) standing on the class desk, seeing Juzo's entry she hopped off screaming before koala jumping on Juzo's form clinging for dear life. She was on the verge of tears at this point, he wrapped his arma around her protectively while looking around the room for any signs of danger, but couldn't find any.

"J-Juzo please. Please kill it. Kill it!." Bu nkw he's frantic, 'kill what? What do I do?.' And then he saw it. The biggest, and hairiest spider he's seen. Then it clicked. You watched her forest coloured hair sway left to right as she turned around, the bow at the end making her look adorable. She was so pretty…

“(Y/n)… You look really creepy watching Asui like that.”

You jump up at being spotted, immediately snapping your head towards Hiryu in attempts to save your dignity.

“I-I wasn’t staring! I just, happened to look! Y’know? Coincidence?” You say, laughing nervously.  The fact that you were rubbing your neck didn’t exactly help your situation all too much either. The boy only chuckles, poking you in the side, making you straighten up with a jerk.

“Just talk to her! You’re even in the same class!”

You sigh and look back to see Tsuyu walking away, talking to Midoriya. You swallow hard.

Getting into UA was a nightmare. You were scared to bits, and despite having a potentially very helpful quirk, all you could do was distract the robots to let others run away.

In her tongue, she carried the other person you had been trying to save before. You could feel your heart skip a beat.

She sets you both on the ground, far from the others. She was about to jump away.

“Wh-what’s your name?”

She looked at you, eyes locking with yours. The whole world froze for that single moment, all was deaf and hushed as she tilted her head and beamed.

“Call me Tsuyu.”

You never thought you’d make it into the hero course, but you sobbed as the acceptance letter came in the mail. You were to be in Class 1-A, unlike your childhood friend Hiryu, who was in Class 1-B.

Your dream was simply to be a great hero. To help and guide people. To do anything you possibly could. You didn’t have to be the best, you didn’t have to do a lot, but at least something, anything to help, since the world had done so much for you already.

A flash of green catches your eye. You spin your head towards it, choking on your breath.

It was her.

In the well-fitted girl’s uniform, her smile shone from so far away. Her hair was its cute bow style, something you had remembered vividly. She seemed to notice your staring, waving at you.

“Kero! I know you! I’m glad you’re in my class!”

She caught up to you, hands on the straps of her bag. She giggled.

“I never got your name?”

“(L-L/n), but you can call me (Y/n), if you want.”

Her eyes crinkled. “I’d love to.”

The flowers in the basket slowly began to disappear as you plait each one into her hair. It was quiet, but it was a silence you would cherish. The memory was so long ago, and now you were here, in third year. It was senior prom, and you had already finished dressing up. You and Tsuyu were best friends, sharing everything from secrets to food. When everyone thought you couldn’t get closer, you did. Yet, you had still to tell her how much you loved her.

“You’re going to look so pretty Tsu-chan.”

“Yeah, I hope so.”

She didn’t have to hope. She was already gorgeous. The dress was made out of elegant white silk, light and airy on her figure, yet heavy enough to not fly in the wind. The sleeves on her arms were puffy, letting her bare shoulders show. She looked almost regal like, and with grace in her steps, she would be the talk of the dance.

Well, in your eyes anyway.

The number of flowers in the basket eventually dwindled down to five.

You froze, heart slamming against your ribcage so hard you almost thought it came out of your chest. Your fingers were still woven in her hair, mid-braid.

Tsuyu sighed as you felt your hands get clammy, you wipe them against yourself in a hurried attempt to not mess up her hair.

“Well, there’s someone I’ve liked for a while now. We started talking a lot more lately and…”

Tsuyu let a smile paint upon her lips, her cheeks turning a soft pinkish hue. “I think… I really like them.”

Your heart moved up through your throat and into your mouth. Was she… talking about you?

With trembling hands and a shaky breath, you brace yourself for what might be the happiest day of your life. To be honest, you had an inkling of the feeling when Tsuyu would hang out with you more, or she’d pick you first out of the groups or she would give you one of her rare hugs. It was so obvious the more you thought of it, you were just paranoid.

“Well… Well…” You keep yourself from bursting, fumbling with her braids albeit. “Maybe just tell them? Like just straight, name, I like you, would you like to dance with me?”

You felt Tsuyu nod her head the slightest bit. She was so considerate.

“Should I practice?-“

“YES!” You almost shout, but you cough into your elbow. “Sorry, I’m just excited for you!”

Tsuyu laughed. “Okay. Here it goes.”

“Uraraka-san, I like you, would you like to dance with me?”

You could only look down. It wasn’t a shock. It wasn’t a surprise.

It was never you. It would never be you.

Your hands were rigid with the last flower in the basket, but you force your body to move. Your throat constricts, and you have to swallow down every tear that threatened to fall.

not going to lie, Hiryu may or may not take a while to register your depressive feelings.

while he is familiar with the signs, he remains at a level of concerned usually reserved for ‘oh, I’m sure this will pass’ a couple days when he initially notices these nods.

though not quite adept with expressing and recognizing feeling, he still is intelligent, and eventually; he realizes it’s a just a little more than that. at first, guilt waves over him for a moment, not knowing why he didn’t see the signs, or why his partner hadn’t come to talk to him about it directly… but after a little time, he figures it would be better to put himself in action rather than standing still.

it’s not necessarily a part on his tendency of quick impatience for you to ‘recover’, but moreso out of worry for you. He isn’t shy about confronting you about how you’ve been acting either, prompting you to discuss with him so that he can figure out what he can do to help.

If you’re unwilling to talk, it’s not like he’s set on it, since he’ll just comfort you anyways, and oh my lord does he get dedicated.

He’ll read you classic Chinese literature (despite him having to paraphrase it from the original linguistic writing) and his smooth voice will be the perfect sleep aid on sleepless nights, with the added bonus of some of these books being over 100 chapters, so ‘running out of material to read’ would never be a situation you’d need to cross.

He would go out with you to a spiritual needs store to just look at all the facinating books and trinkets like that jade carving of a frog or that adorable tiny little kalimba.

though, most of his intention is to check out the candles and incense section. He’d spend quite a while just with you, browsing to find the perfect scent that you two can both agree on when spending quiet evenings together.

He’s actually quite the cuddle-bug, enjoying the warmth and closeness it brings him and his partner together, he just avoids doing so in public since he doesn’t feel that comfort with others around.

He’ll lie down, and offer for you to lie down on his chest or stomach back up, and he’ll wordlessly fix up your hair and if you’ll let him, he’ll gently play with it as you two pass the gut-wrenching feelings with idle talk that just feels right.

Hiryu, as much as he can in his time with you; will get you doing things as much as he can, like making food together or taking walks on a forest trail, because it is how he also does his de-stressing from his own thoughts.

He doesn’t do all that much quote en quote ‘lounging around’ (watching tv shows, playing video games, etc) but if it was something you were interested, he’d set aside time to do so with you; watching and listening to see why you enjoy it so much.

“Hey, hey. Turn your head towards mine, please?” Hiryu is speaking as if the air was made of paper thin glass, reaching over to touch your cheek and gently turning your head to foil that half hearted attempt at hiding your expression.

He takes a moment to study your face as his expression drops in intensity, but the passionate embers in his eyes still remain. Hiryu can feel his throat run dry, with all the things he would like to say racing through his head, and yet, nothing came out. Instead, he leans into you a little closer, cupping your cheek and pressing his forehead against yours, almost acting as if he did that; you would understand his own thought process through the oddly intimate action. He sighs, glancing askance for a moment before locking his eyes with your own, the hand cupping your cheek trailing down your neck and then to your back, slowly initiating a hug to see how you feel.

His firm but gentle-all-the-same wrap around your frame was almost impossible not to relax into, and his right hand idly traces a circle into your mid back as you lean in towards each-other. He was saddened himself a little bit, from a twinge of empathy he felt in his chest. A newer, strange feeling; but welcome all the same. You can hear him mumble a couple phrases in Mandarin almost un-hearable, but you feel it because of how close you are holding the other.

“I can’t quite say I understand what is going on in your life, but I know for a certain fact that I will help you through it.” Hiryu saw no way around it, and in fact; he had hoped that he was able to convince you to take that time for yourself, when this noticeably stressed out and pained. “I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if I was unable to do everything I could to make you happy and feel loved.”

Finally, with that; in some way, somehow, the world will remain right once more.
