Protective P x reader headcanons

• If you met P for the first time outside Hotel Krat, unarmed, he'd literally just grab you and haul ass back to safety. His goal here was just to protect an endangered citizen, but this is when you started to fall for him a little. As time passes he grows fond of you too.

• P instinctively wants to shield you. Compared to his own tall, reinforced steel body, your soft mortal body is basically like a daffodil. If the situation ever came to it, he would take any and all blows for you to keep you unharmed.

(And btw I don't know how tall he is but I've seen people estimate he's above 6'0", which is amazing and I support it.)

• even if you've gained proficiency with a weapon, P does noooot like the idea of you accompanying him outside the hotel. If you insist, he stays close by your side. He occasionally extends his legion arm, stopping you in your tracks, to safeguard you from any potential dangers. He probably equips Aegis just for this.

• if you're ever injured, P begins to lose his typically calm composure. He'd dash to your side to get you to safety as soon as possible, and you hear him utter your name with distress as he scoops you up. As he carries you back, you can hear that the rhythmic ticking of his mechanical heart is clearly faster than usual.

• the whole time you're recovering, P sits by your side. He shoots you one of his disapproving looks if you try to exert yourself before you've fully recovered. At least you know you're in good hands with your sweet puppet looking after you.

omg arqa looks totally different. like i remember the weird purple vibe zone, but the way the walls are all curved, they really did a fantastic job remaking tartarus. like it just looks bony and curvy and creepy. i can't wait to see disco rainbow zone

other things i love: i really like the new shuffle time. the whole "unlock major arcana" thing is a nice gimmick, having random things to smash in the dungeon is mindless fun, i'm just really loving it all.

i also noticed skills like kouha are in the game now, meaning that dark/light aren't just insta kill only, meaning that ken and koro are gonna be MUCH more useful

god the new summon animations are SICK AS HELL

btw i did notice that junpei still can't use a katana. i actually have always loved that for him. he straight up wields a sword like a baseball bat and always will. i think that's wonderful. there is a Lot of characterization in skills in this game.

like the games always do some personality = skills corrolation. but like. junpei using a sword wrong. akihiko and shinjiro having matched personas. spoilers spoilers EVERYTHING about ken, including the fact that his evolved persona suddenly pivots HARD into healing. the fact that evolved persona are tied to plot and character development rather than social links. it's all so goooood FOR EXAMPLE:

akihiko just coming in with mazio when no one else has multi hit attacks yet is actually really cool. like probably was like that in the original, but now that they're all so much slicker it really is like. oh yeah he really has been doing this for years. oh yeah he's just Better.

i actually really like that in p3 -- when makoto joins, he's new to personas, but yukari has been in SEES for a bit, and mitsuru and akihiko have been fighting for 2-3 years already. like it just adds to the vibe. makoto is the team leader, but mitsuru is in charge, he's the new kid, everyone else knows more than you.

and that theme keeps going, too. shinji is the Retired Vet; aegis is a shadow fighting robot who has been at it 10+ years; fuuka and junpei and koromaru are newbies like you, ken is a newbie but has known about shadows for years -- i like p4 and 5's Scrappy Friends And Newbies All thing, but i like how p3's vibe is just. so different.

like yeah if you take the fighting games etc into account -- of Course it's the SEES crew that started the Shadow Hunters or whatever they're called, of course it's mitsuru who recruits the p4 kids; SEES is like. professionals. pro shadow fighters. and that has downsides the game very much explores -- there's a LOT of ptsd and mistrust and a lack of team unity EVERYWHERE, these guys aren't friends until the last half of the game -- but it also. man. i love these fucked up kids and their Drive.

and if that sounds all edgelord grimdark it's also the only game where a literal dog is a party member. no cute mascots who are secretly More. nope we have a 10 year old and a Dog. i love this game

Ill try to list them in order of like, my first OC to my most recent OC's

Jinx first!!!

Jinx was once turned into a cat by the villains, and Jinx was pretty chill about it really, they loved knocking stuff over at the villain base, and since the villains thought they was just turned into a cat, no JInx inside, they just assumed it was normal cat behavior

Jinx is a magpie, like they LOVE shiny stuff, like, once, the heroes and villains were fighting over an ancient artifact, who gets it, the heroes want it so that they know the villains cant abuse it, and the villains want it for power, and then Jinx just ups and steals it just cause its shiny

Jinx has a twin brother Aegis, hes the opposite of Jinx, a hero, no-nonsense, his powers is to create shields, i made him after i made Jinx, but using the base i made for Jinx

Aegis is Bisexual and up for poly btw (i even thought about making him date the leader of the heroes and the leader of the villains just for the shits and giggles,)

Jinx lives with their brother (Aegis is older by 2 minutes ["best 2 minutes of my life" lol], cause their parents kicked Jinx out at 18, and Aegis was disgusted by that, so he lived with Jinx

Jinx didnt get much attention as a child, so that's why they're what they're like today, he has flair, a loud voice, just so that they get attention,

also, Jinx had to mostly fend for themself as a child, and they were given almost no supervision, since their parents gave Aegis more attention and training, believing that AEgis was more fit to be a superhero, so Jinx could do whatever, really, so they ate a lot of candy, thus giving themselves a sweet tooth. This is also why Jinx is childish, they wasn't allowed to be a child back then so their allowing themselves to be a child

Also, im starting to wonder if Jinx does have a label on what side they're on, like, anti-heroes, to my research, do bad things for good. Anti-villains do good things for bad stuff, so I don't know if Jinx does have a side, cause they just do their own thing, sometimes joining the villains, sometimes joining the heroes, sometimes being an annoyance to both, so like, they're undecided i guess?? (Kinda like they're gender, it switches lol) Lemme look something up real quick...i guess JInx is like a rogue?

Also, Jinx, having no side, maybe has a lair of their own, a small one though, I've been thinking maybe a candy shop? Like, there's a basement of operations down there, and there's a candy shop up top?

Also, Jinx is Chaotic Lawful (or lawful chaotic), where they have a moral code, no one knows what it is though, but thank goodness its there

At first, i wanted to make Jinx have a double life as Casey, but then the more i thought about casey and their stories, it kinda spiraled into casey becoming their own character,

Now, onto Casey!!! Doing this cause he inspired a TON of characters

Caseys a trans man (aka ftm,), and has transitioned now.

He's a tired photographer and journalist (online), goes to college, engineering, he lives with his brother, Ryan Thompson (or Velocity as his hero name), also lives with his brother

Casey is Ryans adopted little brother, Caseys parents are Lady Luck and Mr. Misfortune (idk if i should give him siblings he was separated from)

So pretty much Casey has terrible and Amazing luck, they don't cancel each other out

This is pretty much where chaos happens around casey, but casey somehow gets out unharmed, which is great for his Photography and Journalism blog cause he usually stumbles into super fights!

Also, Caseys like, the go-to kidnapping victim for the villains, where they kidnap him a lot (they don't hurt him, cause i think I'm leaning more into comedy in my world ), and the heroes save him a lot, this led to him knowing a lot about both sides, also, once, Casey got out of his binds when the villains kidnapped him and left him, and instead of escaping, he takes pictures of the lair first, and gets out, and then proceeded to post the pictures and compliment the villain's style.

Also, Casey usually doesnt talk, mostly to people he doesn't know that much, if he's with Ryan or anyone he's really comfortable with, he will not shut up, showing them pictures, stuff he made using engineering, etc.

Also, every character inspired by Casey (like, they first started out as, haha, what if Casey was ___) has a white streak on their hair, so if you see an OC of mine with a white streak, you know what that means!

Now, Dr. Wilde!!

As you know, Dr. Wilde is a crazy scientist!

Dr. Wilde allows Lumi to call him Ezra (at first Lumi called him Dr. Ezra, but as they got more close Lumi started to call him Ezra, like a friend)

Casey has interviewed Dr. Wilde at some point, and even took pictures of his lab, and Casey has taken care of Tar once (picturing Tar and uploading to the internet how weird the rat is, and that once, the rat got in the oven while Casey was baking and it somehow survived)

Dr. Wilde has dyed Tar's fur a bit (haven't decided what color yet), just so that he can differentiate between the lab rats and Tar

Dr. Wilde's lab is right next to his room (which is like a house, having a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc.),

Dr. Wilde rarely leaves his lab / room, as he isn't really interested in the outside world, and when he does leave, he brings Tar with him, and Tar is just perched over Dr. Wilde's shoulder

Dr. Wilde is pretty short, compared to other villains (i should make a height chart actually), where the villains tower over him

Dr. Wilde has green eyes, also, if you look at him, he WILL stare into your soul, no one has ever seen him blink,

Now, Onto Darian Knight / Eclipse!!

As you can see, Darian is inspired by casey,

Darian, at first, joined the heroes to spite his dad, who was a villain back then, but after a while, he did come to like being a hero

Darian joined when he was 18, and he's surprised people still think he's a villain

Solar Flare and Casey are the few people who believe he's a genuine hero, Solar Flare cause he's worked with Darian long enough to know he's being genuine, and Casey cause he interviewed anough people to know whats a lie and whats not, Lumi also knows Casey isn't a villain

Sunny Knight / Lumi!!

He joined the villains at 19, about the same time as Darian,

At home with their parents, Sunny and Darian are more civil, more sibling-like,

In the battlefield, Sunny and Darian try to incapacitate each other than hurt, since, yknow, they're siblings. But they don't fight in the battlefield much, since sometimes Sunny and Darian converse, and the hereos and villains think that Sunny and Darian are teaming up and switching sides (Darian to villains and Sunny to heroes),

Also, Lumi joined the villains just because he could, and it looked fun

i dont have much on newer OC's lol, since i havent fleshed them out much lol

I also have a few more OC's i haven't talked about / fleshed out that much, like they're just an idea, but not a person yet.

Viz:

Theyre a hero with high anxiety, but despite having anxiety, and knowing he would get attention, interviews, etc. He still decides to be a hero, since to him, its the right thing to do. I still haven't showed them yet cause 1. i haven't drawn them yet, 2. with anxiety like them, i want to make sure i represent them well and make them realistic and that i don't make them like a stereotype

Starlight / Adrian Celeste:

Hes a self absorbed egocentric hero, and he's vain, he's kinda a joke hero i thought about, where like, he's self absorbed to the point its funny, hes still nice though, he doesn't show it much though, since he doesn't want to seem vulnerable and stuff. a simple backstory I thought about is that he was put down back then when he was young, so to make himself more confident, he started to compliment himself, and other stuff, but then it quickly spiraled put of control, and now hes like this. He also carries a mirror with himself at all times, just to admire himself, and his mirror in his room has sticky note surrounding where his face would be, and it says "perfect" "amazing" etc. also, he can glow, heal, teleport, and kinda has the ability to see the future (in like a vague way, like, he sees the stars and can sense something in the future, but its just really vague)

Jester / R.J. Santos: (Civilian name im not sure on yet)

Theyre a villain, a non serious villain, think like a cartoon villain, a goofy villain, they dont do any harm, just there to have fun. they also wanted to name themselves Jester Jinx, but since Jinx already had the name, they were okay with going with just Jester. Also, he's filipino. Also, he cares for young heroes (being an impromptu dad himself [long story where a kid of a hero wanted to be a villain, but the parent wanted them to be a hero, so the kid ran away, and got to casey, and casey took care of them and helped them be a villain {the kids, actually a teen, like 16, the teen is names Shadowstrike and their civilian name is Micheal, they hate the name by the way},]), and once, casey saw that the heroes were sending young heroes to his base to defeat him, and R.J. doesn't spot a singular a singular adult there, so he makes the young heroes (teens and even kids) sit down and stuff, and then he calls the heroes (he has their number cause they're usually on good terms), and yells at them over the phone for sending kids to a villain, and that they could've gotten hurt, and he gets so angry he starts shouting in filipino. Also! R.J. has a big family (based off my family), where his great grandma had 12 kids, and those kids (his grandparents and grand aunties and uncles) had kids (about 3 each), his aunties and uncles, and they have kids as well (about 3-5), his cousins and such, and his cousins had children as well, R.J. tries to remember them all by name, but its pretty hard, cause like, he has about

And about Selviya!? Its a long story i will summarised it for you!

Since i was writing my story WARTB, I loved Ice themed characters and such. I wanted a diversity in my Story about a lot of powers like dark, ice and such.

I cannot say specifically who i was inspired by to make Selviya!. There are lot of Amazing ice themed characters and the list is really long!

Selviya is my babygirl and i love her so much, she is very pure and lovely. Selviya story is a bit controversial due to Heavy bullying that befell her. She got revenge after she snapped against them.

Selviya is the only one of her race. Human-celestials . She doesn’t know what her powers are, she doesn’t even know why she is so special. She feels hated because she is different. People make fun of her hair colour. Yet they don’t know why it is like this!

Selviya original backstory is really different. Her original story her being a star. Taking a human form because of a handsome rich guy wish for a beautiful girl to be his wife. (Kinda like a Disney story i know). The most brightest and beautiful star (Sirius B) Took the form of a beautiful teenager girl. The handsome guy calls for his mum (Sylvia) the girl listened to this and thought her name is Selviya. And thus. When the handsome guy saw her. He falls in love with her completely. And he goes to meet her. She loved him back. But she wanders what is the meaning of love? What is the meaning of Existence? All she remembers she was a little star in a darker space. When the rich guy family Heard about this they were completely furious and they didn’t like Selviya. But the guy was madly in love with her, so they came up with a devious plan which is to kill her. By poisoning. The guy knew about this and he willingly drank the poison beverage. He falls unconscious and his parents know what they did and regretted it deeply. But Selviya was completely oblivious. She knows now what the meaning of existence let alone love and sacrifice. So she uses her powers to revives him and took him to space as lovers in space and in their own cosmic palace. Leaving the parents in earth. And they both live happily ever after.

That was her original story, Kinda boring i know. But I scrapped this horrible story and come with a new one!

Selviya new story is, Once upon a time there was a Celestial named Helen. Before she gives birth to her daughter Selviya another celestial comes to tell her something. Aegis is the name of the celestial who came to Helen to warn her about something. Her daughter will be the brightest star yet Endangered. Helen Made a powerful item which will be later called Crystal Silvernium. She gives birth to her daughter Selviya. She loves her daughter deeply and she promised to teach her and raised her better. She did but she unfortunately. She was forced to marry the Most powerful Celestial (King Apollo), unwillingly she did. She got herself into a loveless marriage. She then give birth to two daughters Sparkle and Darcelena . But she yearns for her Selviya. Her beautiful and Lovely daughter. Her (miracle wish). In every night she secretly leaves to see her daughter and talk with her. Selviya is happy to see her mother again. But she doesn’t know what is going on. Helen told Soliel to tell their daughter Selviya that she is busy because she is working. But in Truth. Its not and it’s painful. One of the celestial guards tell King Apollo about Helen leaving in the night. He told them to investigate about it and they obeyed him. One day Helen left again to see her daughter. The guards were secretly following her. They found out she has a daughter from another celestial. They hurried to tell their king and he was furious. So he told his Guards to kill her daughter by throwing into a blackhole.

Upon discovering the King Apollo plans, Helen hurriedly left to rescue her daughter. She saw them preparing to throw her into the blackhole.

“Selviya! Oh no no!” Helen cried painfully

“ I won’t let them take away your future!” Helen Firmly promised, as she prepared to use her Weapon

“Glactical Beam!” She says as she fire the Blast. Her weapon shone brightly as it fires a magnificent powerful beam of light. Killing the guards and Earsing the blackhole easily. But Alas. “Run and takes Selviya as far as your legs can take you. And give this to Selviya. When the time comes she knows what to do. I have enough power left to immobilised the guards!” She weakly says. Then she closed her eyes forever…

After that, Selviya grow up with her father, she deeply loved him. But she wanders what happend to her mother? Everytime she remembers her mother she cries. Because of an unknown evil threatens the cosmic celestial one of her pieces fell on earth and thats how Human Selviya was born

Her life is really sad. Her real parents died, Because of her ice powers. The kids in the orphanage builled her and make fun of her. A group of 3 little boys and 2 girls once builled her and she killed accidentally with her ice magic. She is oblivious to her powers. A woman took care of her. She raised her. She cooks for her. She called herself Blanche, She fought them and killed them with her ice magic. In one of the times she is fighting with her persona blanche. She met another magical girl, she is a hydromancer and her name is Selena thatcher. Those two becomes friends, like sisters. they fought evil together.Selviya fell in love with a depressed artist called Travis Smith.

She loves him deeply. She learns how to be an artist for him. He loves her but he didn’t tell her. After months of knowing each other he died. Because of an explosion in his art museum. That broke her heart and she just lost interest in everything she loves to do even fighting for good.

upon fighting the strongest Villian Karl Schnfier. Her celestial powers awaken. And transformed into her empress form. With a beautiful Fluffy dress and a long galaxy hair colour. With a powerful wand, she used her ice to make a huge wide iceberg to match Karl height (in his Dark giantic form) and help of her friends spirits along with Selena’s. She begged the Crystal Silvernium to fuels her with their memories and love. Gathering energy from the space and beyond. She fires a great powerful starlight energy blast and cannot be blocked ,

Idk anything about malos (this is an invitation if u want to tell me about him) but I love him a lot like. He's a guy but he has issues from what I gather

HE HAS SO MANY PROBLEMS ok so

he's one of the two (there's actually 3 but the 3rd one got pulled into another dimension) Aegises, which were created as biocomputers, in order to do fancy shit we don't need to get into rn. the point is, they're like Blades but really really powerful, and they exist to carry out the will of the Architect (dude who created Alrest (the world). I need to mention titans somewhere here, so. they're huge creatures that live in the cloud sea (which covers the entire planet, there are no natural land masses), and are used to fly ships, and if they're big enough, act as living land masses. all the countries in the game are on or in titans. anyways.

the Architect is said to live at the top of The World Tree, in Elysium, where humans and titans lives before he cast them out.

thousands of years pass since the creation of the world. enter Amalthus.

Amalthus, an Indoline Quaestor (sort of like.. a bishop i guess?), has seen the worst of what humanity has to offer, at one point healing a soldier only to later find him robbing a house and killing the occupants. disgusted with this, Amalthus wonders if the world is as the Architect intended. he concludes that perhaps Alrest is a sort of hell.

Determined to ask the Architect 'why?', he climbs the World Tree, becoming the first person ever to succeed in doing so. and when he reaches the top,

he finds Elysium empty.

with no Architect, and no answers, Amalthus took two core crystals back with him to Alrest.

he awakens one, believing this to perhaps be the Architect's will, and becomes the driver of the Aegis named Logos.

when blades are awakened for the first time, their appearance and personality are influenced by their driver. for the Aegis, this meant he became inundated with his drivers hatred for the world. soon after being awakened, he took or was given the name Malos.

here he is a very special boy

He also named himself as the Aegis, after an Indoline artifact said to embody the Architect's light.

for a while he acted as Amalthus's blade, carrying out his will (and what he believed the will of the Architect to be), mostly by blowing shit up. eventually though, deciding not enough shit was being blown up, he abandoned Amalthus (Aegis privilege: you get to act independently from your driver). Amalthus, in response, sought out someone to awaken the remaining Aegis Core to defeat Malos.

around this time apparently jin and malos meet in battle, and jin questions if malos's bloodlust is his own, and malos claimed that most humans are "not like Lora (jins driver)" and are instead corrupt.

this is where Mythra is awakened, and she and Malos eventually have a large scale fight, which ended in Malos being severely damaged and lost below the cloud sea, and Mythra, now terrified of the destruction she's capable of after killing the Tornan titan (titan with whole country on it), seeks to seal away her powers.

not knowing the whereabouts of Mythra and her driver, and afraid of her power, Amalthus lays waste to the titan the Torna citizens had evacuated to, killing the refugees on it.

Malos didnt die though, and eventually returns (though with a damaged core crystal), and teams up with Jin (whose driver was killed by amalthus), and together they form a team that REALLY wants to kill the architect and also the world.

btw amalthus in the meantime has been BUSY. poisoning the Praetor (the pope basically) and hiring a hit man to kill his competition in order to be promoted to Praetor himself. he also did SO many unethical medical experiments, and also resonated with the core crystal of Haze, named her Fan La Norne the Goddess of Indol, and took half of her core crystal without her knowledge, in order to give himself some of her considerable power. and so on. fuck this guy fr.

so the story of the game plays out, with malos trying to fulfill his goal all the while questioning if his motivations are really his, yet too bound to them and having gone too far to change now. we also see that he truly cares for his team (jin in particular 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨)

in the end he is defeated, and as he dies, he says to the protagonist "if only I'd met you sooner... just think of the worlds I could've seen". which hurts my feelings.

so. basically. he's like if a guy had so much hatred in his heart but the hatred was not his own yet it remains and he can't let it go and he believes it to be his own yet knows it is not. and I think theres a fear there that that hatred is what makes him, and if he lets it go he won't have anything left.

KH OC Week - Day 2 - Adventure/World Attire Change prompts by @khoc-week

Thought to draw Aer for this one instead of Aegis because Aegis is permanently on an ‘adventure’, whilst KH3 timeline is the first time Aer’s been somewhere that isn’t Radiant Garden, Mysterious Tower, or wherever’s the safest place at any given time.

Also a drawing of hands are hard and proportions are off at the legs oops.I have definitly drawn Aer better, but sometimes you just have off days and that’s okay!

So quick info for those in confusion at his appearance, also just a rundown: - He’s the son of Aegis and Terra (an ‘accident’ (no kid is an accident, mind you, but sometimes prevention just doesn’t work) - he’s basically Terra’s twin in appearance though, other than his eyes - he has partial heterochromia. His left eye is mostly blue with a section of turquoise and his right eye is blue :) - He’s 12 come KH3 and is on this mission because of Yen Sid :/ - Got his keyblade at 11 (in self-defense against Xemnas in kh2 whoops) but already had experience from ‘burrowing’ Aegis’ and also from using a practice one :) (Grandpa - Aegis’ father - enabled the behaviour btw). - Wind and Earth powers, power plus speed, also tall! - already 5ft 6 and he’s just hitting puberty - Does have a quite unfortunate time with darkness but he always has a support system and is just hoping no one ever attempts to make it rear it’s noggin’. - Most importantly, is very tired of Donald already and it’s only been a month or something.

2.Does your OC have a signature weapon they use? How did they get it? Does it have a name?

Though she now prefers do magical long range attacks, Floppy is probably most known for her use of a rapier. It was one of the first weapons she really learned to use.

Her technique is a bit all over the place, she first learned from a traveling dualist that she did some errands for in exchange for lessons. But she also got a lot of tips for swordplay from Lionguards (who had previously been pirates)

Because of that her fighting style is a strange yet beautiful mix of elegant technique and brute dirty swordplay.

5.What kind of armor does your OC wear?

Floppy likes to wear multilayered light armor. Easier for her to move without being weighed down, but layered for more protection.

She has a silk shirt that she wears under most of her armor in order to provide more protection. Her over-armor is usually made out of a thicker, coarser fabric, sometimes with some leather or metal detailing.

The only major flaw with her current armor is that it is pretty overall warm. Which means when in places like the Crystal Desert or the Maguma Jungle, she either has to find another solution for armor, or just be overheated.

14. Talk about a fight your OC lost.

Tori has been in a lot of fights, but one that nearly cost him their life was with her former bandit group.

Yeah Tori was a part of a bandit group for a while, after the farm they lived in was destroyed by centaur attacks (getting no aid from Seraph, who were busy guarding a noble celebration in Divinity's Reach) she had to find somewhere new to go, and eventually found himself a bandit.

The crew was originally a bit Robin Hood-esque, but after the death of its previous leader started to go in new directions, directions that Tori didn’t like. Once they started attacking innocent farmers and children she’d had enough, and confronted the new leader thinking his fellow bandits would rally with her ...They did not.

It made sense why the fight was lost, he was completely outnumbered and under prepared.

She threw targeted explosives at the places where the bandits stored gunpower to stun some of the farther ones and then a smoke grenade to try and get away.

The bandits guarding the entryway trapped her, and though she used some fire to burn away the thin rope, he had already been surrounded. After that it was pretty brutal, Tori tried their best to protect themselves and fight back, but it’s hard to do that when there’s so many people against you.

The only thing that saved them was that in his panic, Tori set off some signal flare explosives (that she usually kept in case a mission went wrong) and the pandemonium drew the Seraph to the fight.

The bandits cleared out to avoid being caught, leaving Tori broken and bloodied on the ground. From there they’d be found, questioned, and eventually pardoned (for collaboration with the questioning). From then on they'd be starting their new life in the city (and personal story would happen a bit later)

15. Talk about a fight your OC won.

When Link first ventured out from the grove (completely against the will of any mentors taking care of him) he went pretty far and ended up in the swamps. There two new(ish) nightmare court captured and imprisoned him.

Rococcus(who was sent to go find him) sees him imprisoned and fights the nightmare court, but he’s at a disadvantage with it being A. a 2 on 1 fight, and B. He was still recovering from the final fight with Zhitan. Because of that he ends up in a rough spot, fighting one of them close range while another is firing from a distance.

Link is just watching from a thorny vine cage, he gets upset when he sees Rococcus in that rough spot and channels his fire magic to burn through the bars (he didn’t know he could do that) and goes to help.

Of course him helping mostly consists of bonking the enemy with a picked up weapon and body blocking Rococcus (despite the fact that he’s wearing armor and YOU’RE NAKED DUMMY!)

So the fight ends, one nightmare court is dead (aegis deflected her own arrow back at her) and another knocked out (they just let him be because he was kinda nice).

Link has a small wound in his back from an arrow that he essentially body slammed Rococcus away from, and Rococcus (the honorable guardian that he is) is like “I am in your debt” to which Link goes “Oh really? >:3c” and convinces them to not take him back to the grove yet.

Tales of Crestoria Part 3 - Growing from Mistakes (Ch 3-5)

Anyway, about time Kanata and Misella got captured by Aegis and Leon? Haha. As for Aegis' close relationship with Queen Rebecca? Nope, that's just spelling disaster man. Aegis is probably as naive as Kanata if he thinks that this is okay, because even if he knows so, people don't, and it doesn't help that the Queen personally visits him a lot. He's pretty silly and innocent to think that him being her confidant is okay when she's supposed to have the king and many other people to rely on. It definitely doesn't help that she does all this so publicly. Btw, since we haven't seen Leon much, and this was probably the first time I heard him talk so much, I finally confirmed that his VA is definitely Midorikawa Hikaru! Tamahome (Fushigi Yuugi) brings back all my memories! I also loved him as Yoshino Yuusuke (Clannad), yes, he is one of my favourite VAs too, so I'm glad I have his SSR! Anyway, I'm not sure why he's so adamant on capturing Vicious since it doesn't seem like a justice thing like it is for Aegis but I do appreciate how kind Leon is to be concerned over Aegis and want to watch out for him.

 LMAO at the prisoners feeling like they're being disrespected because Kanata and Misella kept talking and ignoring them, and then when they do talk to them, Kanata says nice to meet you like they're at a party or something hahahah. Nice to see that Rebecca isn't just a damsel in distress and actually has been actively finding a way to escape from the kingdom. Not surprised though, she's young, kind and beautiful, whereas the king is so old and definitely evil lol. I feel sorry for her that she got dragged into becoming queen just because the king loved her beauty. Like dang though, she was a rural farm girl and he was able to find her? That would suck. Or I wonder if he goes around looking for beautiful women lol. Okay, he does lol, he even finds beautiful men, eugh. It's nice to know that Rebecca was once pretty naive though and thought that everything would be like a dream come true since the king proposed to her, and it was only after she married him that she realised how crappy her life could become. To be fair though, at least she's still in his good favours as a queen and didn't get demoted into servant or something after he finished playing with her. I guess her maintaining her beauty helped lol. I feel sorry for Rebecca, I really wanted her to live even if she was kinda delusional and hopeful that Aegis loved her. Kinda silly how the king could appear so suddenly in the sewers though, like how did he catch up to them so fast and how did they not notice lol. Anyway, I feel sorry for Aegis the most. He didn't even kill anyone but he's been framed for trying to elope with Rebecca and then killing her when she became a liability. At least for Kanata, he really did kill his father. In this case, Aegis is completely innocent. He's such a kind and righteous soul that wanted the best for his kingdom too. It's so saddening. Leon to the rescue! I'm happy that Leon prioritises Aegis over disgust at having to ally with Vicious since he seems to hold a grudge against him or something. It seems like Leon is really strong! Ooh, Yuna saves the day with her boat? Good to know she's the informant that Vicious frequently deals with. Her manner of speaking is interesting yet annoying though lol. Anyway, kinda cool that this Ivis person was able to create the Nation of Sin whilst forming a barrier that protects it from the outside world, and even preventing people without the Stain of Guilt from being able to enter the place or even see it. It seems like they really wanted to create a safe haven for all these people. It's funny that Vicious calls it a boring place, but I guess it's understandable lol, in any case though, I'm not surprised it's a boring and peaceful place. With all the chaos that comes with being a transgressor, what makes Vicious think they'd be crazy here? Lol. I mean, if they were, I'm sure they'd get kicked out lol.

Lmao, even though Aegis is getting kinda annoying with the transgressor this and transgressor that (his situation is understandable though, so I don't really blame him), I love how Kanata just drags him along, and Vicious just wants Aegis to remember that he is a transgressor now too lol. It was heartbreaking when Aegis finally kinda opened up and talked about how his parents were poor but did their best to fulfill his dream of becoming a knight, so in order to repay them, he worked hard to become a righteous knight, yet that all backfired on him when he lost everything and he's even being helped by the people he stubbornly believed to be the worst and has even become one of them, it's just pretty depressing. It was nice to see that the warmth of the transgressors' stew really got to Aegis. I'm happy to see Aegis fight for these defenceless transgressors that are getting massacred by the little girl (who is the culmination of the thoughts of condemnation etc) and her army of enforcers. I'm kinda surprised all the transgressors died though, like, did no one think it was possible that they might get attacked one day and prepared for that? I doubt not having a blood sin is an excuse too, since Aegis fended at least some of them off without it. Oh well, at least the little furry creature survived hahaha. Maybe we'll get an SSR version of the furry thing one day if it evolves into something strong🤣 I guess it's good that they've resolved themselves to fight against the world and the vision orbs instead of just hiding away now though. Lmao at Misella naming the little creature after meat, I guess Meakyu is a kindaaaa cute name.

Omggg it's Luke!! I love him. He's so spoiled and whiny, but it's hilarious. Lmaooo when Luke said Misella should sell her dress so that they would have money to hire a carriage and Kanata said if they sell it, she'd be naked and that would be awesome LOL. Priorities, Kanata. Omgg, I didn't expect them to have Luke once again make an irrevocable mistake that would cause innocent people and their town to be destroyed... But, like Vicious said, the biggest problem lies with the Senegal guy who knew what kind of guy Luke was and lied to him that the "monster" needed to be defeated when it was actually keeping the mountain intact and safe with its' mana. Wow, Senegal is so ruthlessly cruel... I can't believe he even killed the Southvein people who were able to evacuate from the landslide and survive. Not too surprising since they interfered with his mining but still crazy. Even more crazy that his fabricated lie is that he had no choice but to decimate the town because he sent Luke as a peace envoy and Luke ended up killing one of the residents in self defence (due to their hatred of Northmine people), like excuse you?? Is no one going to investigate the landslide and other stuff? Or are they so powerful that they can block people from going there? Btw, so nice to see Jade!! I guess the reason why Misella has been thinking that Kanata isn't really "Kanata-like" is because instead of advocating for his sort of belief in justice, he is now instead taking things into his own hands to punish others that he thinks "deserves" it. Not saying he's wrong since people like Senegal probably do deserve it, but in a sense, it just kinda becomes the idea that instead of the vision orbs doing the condemnations, now Kanata is doing them, and really, is this how justice is supposed to be, and really, can they save the world like this? Since really, because of their belief in their own views, they ended up killing the guardian spirit of the mountain to save Luke, like yeah, they had "no choice", but was it really like that, or did they just not think of other methods to prevent stuff like this from happening? Have they kinda become used to the idea that they should just solve everything with the violence and condemnation that they were dealt with?

I'm kinda happy to see that everyone is helping out Luke in wanting him to find his own path after the sins he committed, causing so many deaths even if he didn't intend it. Aegis is right, Luke's higher position makes him even more responsible for his lack of knowledge and his naivety, so it would be nice for him to face his sins and grow as a person. Well, I guess rather than it being something nice, he really needs to grow up and understand that his decisions can really change lives. But, I think that with Jade and Asbel there to guide him, he'll be good as long as he tries. Lmao at their great idea of earning money, I'm not sure if Kanata, Misella and Aegis could win prize money as a theatre troupe lol. It's funny how Misella thought Aegis wanted her spot as the heroine when they haven't even decided on what to do lol. Penelope must be dying from how bad Kanata and them are loll, although she does seem to be literally dying too. Anyway, nice to see that Yuna vows to not use her vision orb and instead tries her best to uncover all the facts and the whole story (as the journalist she is) with all the evidence she can gather to piece everything together rather than relying on a vision orb to do things when it only shows one side of things. 

On the other hand, it's nice to see that Kanata and them have realised the existence of the crazy researcher Malcolm experimenting placing human souls in monsters and the other way around. It seems that he was the one who made Emil share his body with Ratatosk now. I guess Kanata will definitely meet up with Cress again one day then (since Cress is adventuring with Mint, Emil/Ratatosk and Marta to prevent people like Cress' master and Emil's situation from happening again). Forgot to mention, but it was really cool seeing Lloyd and Colette! Well, it was kinda obvious that Penelope was dying, but it was nice to know that the reason Yuna is deterred from using her vision orb is kinda similar to Farah. Yuna used it on Penelope's mother to show her physically abusing Penelope as a child when she made mistakes in training to be the best actress, and although it's definitely terrible to allow something like that to go on, it's also true that Yuna hurt Penelope a lot by using the vision orb on her mother and having her condemned to death. As she said, there were definitely other ways to handle the situation, but because everyone from the moment they are born have been ingrained with the idea of the vision orb, everyone decides to solve their problems by using it instead of thinking about other ways. They probably think it's a hassle to deal with problems any other way when you can so easily record it and have other people help make the judgement on what to do instead of thinking for yourself on what other things you can do to rectify the situation. But yeah, I'm sure Penelope doesn't really blame Yuna, since really, her mum was abusive and Yuna wanted to protect her.

Omgg their pirate costumes are so cuteee! Especially Misella's! Love it! Meakyu's is pretty hilarious lolll. It was a pretty cool idea to pretend the pirate raid was actually their stage play that was a part of the festival. It wouldn't have been cool if the pirates were actually stronger than them though hahaha, but all's well ends well. It's pretty silly but funny how Vicious was the one who lured them all here to chase some made up treasure just because he wanted to steal a ship from the pirates lolll. He's so drastic, I love it. Awww, Patty and Chat are so cute~ I love how the townspeople dragged them away to treat them to food for their "good show" against the pirates haha. Honestly, I know Yuna meant well and everything by telling people that Penelope's performance sucked and that they should look forward to her next one instead because she knew how dissatisfied Penelope was with it and how much she would want to stand up again to rectify how bad this one was, but really, Yuna (and the party) are the only ones that know Penelope's true feelings. So really, it's hard for people to not dislike her for saying such "disrespectful" things about Penelope's "last performance" especially as a close friend. As for the condemnation towards her, really, it's just a bunch of petty people everywhere that don't like her journalist articles lol, but it is rather interesting that you can be condemned for something like this. It really shows how the importance doesn't lie in the gravity of the crime, the vision orb is just a depraved way of wish fulfillment for those who abuse it to get rid of people they don't like. I like how Vicious helped Yuna come to terms that what she said wasn't wrong, because she knew that praising her crappy performance was the biggest insult to Penelope, and really, these people have no right to condemn her for what she thinks just because they think that Penelope is dying so no one should say such things. They didn't even bother listening to why she said it and I'm sure they knew what she said was right anyway but were just too spiteful and self absorbed to care since it was their best "legitimate" opportunity to get rid of her. The only good thing out of all this is that for once, there were actually other people next to these crazy people that were trying to tell them that it was unreasonable and possibly a misunderstanding and that they shouldn't be too hasty to condemn Yuna like that, which is a first that I very welcomed. I mean, it honestly felt like these people used their brains for once compared to the villagers in the previous chapters. Maybe you could warrant it as the difference between countryside villages and city towns, but whatever it is, it's nice to see that the story is at least veering a bit away from "every person aside from the Tales characters are either dumb, crazy or evil". 

Anyway, nice end to the chapter as Kanata further resolves himself to change the world and Yuna will accompany them as their "pen" since "swords" can't resolve everything. The only sad part is that I used my gleamstones to draw but still couldn't get SSR Yuna, but at least I got an SSR Aegis loll. Overall, I do look forward to the next chapters and characters. I mean, Eizen (the guy who got annoyed at Vicious for using Aifread's name to lure the crappy pirates here) looked pretty cool and I would totally draw for him if he got an SSR. He'd probably fit in well with my team of beautiful boys LOL. He seemed like a best boy for some people, so I guess I'll look forward to if he'll have more appearances soon! Otherwise, I would like to see Tear, Natalia and Guy (outside of the recent event)!

With these movesets and held items, it would be okay right? But no. I almost lost against Leon:

I won with the remaining 1 HP from Blueberry the Polteageist who toughed it out so I wouldn’t feel sad.

Here I’ll write down everything that happened, so when i come back to read this, I will go “oh what a moron I was!”

For starters, before the battle, I promised to myself to not use any healing items.

Leon sent out Aegislash while i sent out Pop the Colossal. My first miss here was, I should have let Pop attack in the first turn when Aegi was in its Blade Forme to hit Pop with Sacred Sword. But I instead used Stealth Rock, in preparation to take down Leon’s Charizard as soon as he entered the battle later. So I ended up attacking Aegi while he was using King’s Shield.

Pop managed to defeat it, though. With her losing ¾ of her HP. She was saved a lot by her Leftovers (King’s Shield bought her a lot of time). Should she hadn’t have that, she would have lost.

I withdrew Pop to bring out Gloria the Bewear. She had Ice Punch boosted by Choice Band, and Leon sent out Haxorus. The opponent was down in one hit. That’s my girl.

The third oppenent was Seismitoad. I should have sent my starter Pocky to handle him, like any sane #GrookeyGang trainers would do. But I was stubborn. I wanted Pocky to face her old friend, Scorbunny. So I chose Oreo the Obstagoon who also had a Grass move, Seed Bomb. The third opponent went down quickly.

The fourth was the one mentioned before, Scorbunny, who had become Cinderace. The best among Galar starters in terms of competitiveness according to most experts, and I wouldn’t argue with that.

Anyways, this is when my barrage of stupidity began.

I thought Pocky would be okay since she had Soft Sand to boost her Earthquake attack. And there was Stealth Rock left by Pop too. But I was completely wrong. Cincerace was too quick and too strong. He defeated Pocky in two turns. Again, I was too stubborn to withdraw her (I’m so sorry, Pocky)

I sent out Mint the Toxtricity. But he was taken down with Blaze-boosted Pyro Ball.

Now I had two Pokemon fainted.

I need someone who might outspeed Cinderace, so I called Oreo the Obstagoon. But, Cinderace still outsped him! The Pyro Ball hit him down to 1/3 of his HP. We were saved…! Oreo then countered with Night Slash. Scope Lens helped boost its critical hit ratio. Leon praised me for delivering one. Cinderace down.

Dragapult was next. Oreo had a very good match-up against him. But…! I wanted to give my Polteageist a chance, as a fellow Ghost type Pokemon. Beside, I thought, if Oreo couldn’t OHKO him, he would be roasted back, because his now low HP and low defense stats. Yes, I was that stupid.

Blueberry was going first, thanks to its Choice Scarf. They hit each other with Shadow Ball. Since Blue’s special stats were higher than the opponent’s, it hit harder and was better at defending. Blue won.

Last but not least. Leon’s infamous Gigantmax Charizard. Thanks to Stealth Rock, his HP was brought down to almost half of it. Hell yeah! Time for counterattack! Or so I thought.

He easily roasted Pop (who I foolishly dynamaxed, despite her already down HP), Oreo, and Gloria in one hit. Gloria had the ability Fluffy so it was a certain lose.

It left me with the smolest member of my team, Blueberry. Just look at this…AOT-like scene. But thankfully, it didn’t last long. Charizard’s 3 turns were up and he went back to his normal size. Still, Blue’s Choice Scarf couldn’t win against Charizard’s speed boosted by Max Airstream. The Champion’s fire lizard went to hit me with a Fire Blast. I had prepared to reset my game. But I wanted to see how it would end, so I let them go rampage.

Even I wouldn’t have guessed. The little Blue toughed it out! 1 HP remaining from one remaining Pokemon. And it was Blueberry the Polteageist!

Blueberry whom I gave random name when I first caught it in Wild Area’s den, because I wanted to get my dinner, and couldn’t think of anything. The one who got me frustrated during the battle against Milo, because of its risky ability, Weak Armor. The one whom I had planned to be left out of my final team, in favor of Adamant Dracovish. But seeing how cute it was during our camps, I couldn’t help but letting it stay.

My cute possessed teapot shot its final Shadow Ball, to finish the Champion’s weakened ace. Proving that I did the right thing to let it stay and take part in the battle against Champion.

Look at how proud this teapot ghost is!

Side note: Another thing that helped my win was, Charizard’s own Max Rockfall, that he used to defeat Pop. The move triggered a Sandstorm that also put Charizard in disadvantage. Therefore, despite your lose, thank you, Pop! (Your Stealth Rock also helped a lot. Like, a lot.)
