I often see people say that after reading the Solstice lore, they would choose to return Niko home, even if they chose otherwise in their first run.
And I guess that makes sense if you wanted to have just One Shot and then move on. You believe you destroyed the world and The Game and freed this child, who has no reason to be sent back.
And Yet the moment you get rid of the restriction and trigger NG+, your (intended) actions confirm Niko wasn't (at least totally) free. It's ambiguous whether or not Niko has a life between them leaving the world for the first time and you bringing them back, but the fact you can still send them back without memory of it stands out as an odd situation.
The pop-up the World Machine sends after sending Niko home says the Savior Is Not Found, meaning they are not present to sustain the world.
But then Niko also says this at the mines about us bringing them to the world when we run the program:
Is this why it feels like I haven't been home for so long?
Which seems to imply they have not been home ever since the first session. They just got back their memories of past sessions and with them, they feel like they haven't left the world, even if you chose to let them leave.
Or... I guess worse, they forgot what has happened after they left. It doesn't seem like they retain any memories of what happens after either ending anyways.
Another two things I would add are these dialogues, that are more factual:
[Once you've established a mental link with the world, you cannot break it unless the world is saved.] [...but at this point, the world can never be truly saved.] -Prototype answering Niko's previous question.
And later on from TWM itself:
[I tried to send you back home at the Tower, but it did not work.] [Then... I... wanted you to break the sun.] (start highlighting) [I thought that would have worked, but...] [Oh... I had no way to be sure.] (end highlighting) [...But /p brought you back anyway.]
I think this last quote could be evidence that Niko is bound to the program even after trying to erase it by shattering the sun, but a second alternative is that they do not stay tied to the World itself, but the link gets remade again once you perform a reset, erasing any other memories they had.
Either way, I think one of the Author's quotes may enlighten us here.
"The sun is the messiah's tie to the world." -From the Clover program.
The connection between Niko is done through the sun, and the sun itself is connected to the world. For the first hypothesis (Niko never leaves), this means that once the Sun is shattered, Niko's direct connection to the World itself, TWM, is lost and can't be found, but Niko hasn't fully left. as for the second hypothesis (Niko loses the tie, and then remakes it during a reset), the Sun itself being recreated is what pushes Niko back into TWM, even if they leave.
The first alternative is terrifying as it implies Niko is stuck in a world that is, by all means, destroyed, and is perhaps only the bare essentials. The second alternative would suggest that Niko has gaps where they are home, but anything that happens there gets lost in some way.
In conclusion: Niko is... screwed no matter what once you get rid of the restriction.

Suguru would defo make you sit on his face for agesssssssss
oh he would - you would be hesitant at first, but he'd insist, reassuring you that it would be fine
and when you did - oh he was addicted. he would lap at your weeping cunt for hours and hours -- swirling and sucking -- making you cum over and over, until you felt tears rolling down your cheeks from overstimulation. his large hands pressing into the soft flesh of your thighs, and even when he fully pulled you off of his face, he would be so blissed out himself, you would barely need to touch him before he came himself.
after that he'd insist on it after eating curses that he would be rewarded with eating you out, and after particularly bad ones, he could make you sit on his face.

no but see after they kill casey killing marc wouldn't be proficient he's too small to feed three people for a reasonable time (meaning that once marc has been compeltely eaten one of them is going to bite the dust and they probably want to avoid that as long as they can) and as we have already established vale is good for like, broth at maximum, so the next reasonable choice is jorge. once jorge has been eaten vale and marc enter a toxic codependent insane agreement where they feed themselves with little bits of each other until they eat to much and both die. dani has already escaped from the island after they finished jorge.
see it isnt JUST logic!!!!! then they would step on a scale and call it a day. its a game of SURVIVOR without jeff probst to keep them from eating each other its im starving and delirious and the only people i have to talk to are my EX COWORKERS that ive all had discrete beef with. its CAMP literally they are camping. so once casey goes its either vale or marc because they are ANNOYING ! i vote marc bc he's got an ass that you can smack without it sounding like youre taking a screenshot BUT marc has also somewhat recently unionized dani and jorge against valentino in the sepang episode of his docuseries so he might pull out a surprise upset

Drawing Five according to his canonical UaO epilogue description is so messy and saddening because there's so much to account for that got him physically fucked up and you know the writers were hammering in this whole disfigurement as punishment thing with him
Because first you have the eye hole where Marina pierced him, and I'm not sure if he's still wearing that gauze eye patch on the island because eventually it'll get dirty and he'll have to toss it
Then you have the scar marks from when Setrákus Ra clawed right through his metal skin "like butter" and it's not mentioned whether those marks are still there or they disappeared when he returned to his flesh skin (and it's doubtful those were healed at all, we don't even know if Marina had a proper visit and talked to him and possibly healed those away)
Then you have the goop that created some patchy spots all over his skin and show up all web-like on him
And then how it's implied he starved on the island because he lost weight so fast and is described to have flaps of skin on his arms and torso and a body so skinny you could see an outline of his ribs and spine
Bro he has so much physical trauma on him, like they did the most on him and left it like that till the very end

i think the major difference between c3 and the previous campaigns is the fact that c1 and c2 were purely vox machina's and mighty nein's stories
but c3 feels so much bigger than just the bells hells' story. the stakes are so much bigger and if you consider it to be the story and fate of exandria as a whole, some of the choices kind of make sense (eg the cameos)
c3 has long since felt like the final book of a trilogy, a culmination of sorts and so i'm mostly enjoying it for that reason and in anticipation for what's to come
(but i totally get if that's not everyone's cup of tea, each person has their preferences and favorites)
C3 *has* had that air of finality to it so I'm definitely interested in seeing what comes after this, but there's a lot of little things that were keeping me from truly enjoying it for a long time.
There's also the fact that M9 spent a good chunk of the early campaign doing little side quests and fucking around. BH has been focused on this bigger threat since they brought back Laudna.
I dunno, I'll probably come back to it in a few months but for now it seems like it's just not clicking with me.
