So what if Adam and Lucifer got into a really bad fight and Adam decided to go to Angels room instead of his own, cause he knows Lucifer will just poof himself in. But he won't in Angels room.

He spills his guts to Angel, they're best friends by now and this is the first time he's seen Adam cry.

Adam actually cries himself to sleep holding Fat Nugs and the sight breaks Angels heart and makes him pissed on Adams behalf.

There's a knock on the door and he knows who it is.

Lucifer: Look, I just want to talk to him.

Angel: Well you can't, he's sleeping and even if he weren't I don't think it's a good idea.

Lucifer: Why not? Angel let me-

Angel: No! Sorry, your majesty, but you have no fucking idea how badly you hurt him. He just spent the last hour pouring his fucking heart out about you, you hurt him deeply.

Lucifer: That's why I'm here, to apologize!

And he shuts the door in Lucifer's face.

So Lucifer waits until Angel goes downstairs to grab something to poof into the room, he wasn't sure if he believed that Adam was asleep.

When he's there he sees that yes, Adam is sleeping. And the sight makes his heart crack. His sleeping face is pinched in distress, tears dried on his face with the odd fresh one, eyes puffy.

Lucifer is gonna have to do more than just say sorry.

im not a yj girlie in the same way that im a titans girlie however i think there’s a lot to say about how the core four experienced loss vs the titans like…. two of them died as teens and then came back. the other two lost their idea of personhood in some capacity — cassie had to abandon her own name, and tim went off on his own after bruce’s death, etc. an interesting angle to take would be “i didnt think id have to figure stuff out because the world ended when i was seventeen but somehow im still here”

putting them all in california together is a definite shortcut but i think it works narratively in some capacity only because i do not believe dick grayson would see his brother’s suicide ideation and be like yeah… this guy has a very healthy understanding of his responsibility to bruce wayne and there’s no way this will spiral out of control now that bruce is back. like he sees tim as is like i need to put u somewhere that is slightly inconvenient to travel to so u don’t hop on a plane every time bruce has a meltdown. would that exacerbate tims fears of being left behind? absolutely. unfortunately dick puts him in a suitcase and ships him to sf anyway. idk. go to college and kiss a boy, tim. it’ll be good for u
