Sesh Headcanons

Since this ship has grabbed me by the balls in an iron grip and has been relentless with it's never ending grab for attention, I've decided to share some headcanons I've come up with for this crossover romance.

1. Soap frequently states and writes that he hates dogs (I also kinda headcanon that he's got a fear of them) and this makes Sesh interesting because Hesh has Riley, the goodest boy around!

With Riley, Hesh slowly helps Soap through this fear and hatred towards dogs. It takes a lot of time, and slow training. Riley senses a lot of Soap's inner tension, turmoil and hesitation, but with Hesh around it makes it easier for them both to get closer, and for Soap to get more comfortable with him. He's still hesitant around dogs, and much prefers cats, but Riley is an exception, with Soap learning to love him through Hesh.

They do these group trainings, starting with small things such as sniffing, and Hesh is always there right with him. Hesh never forces him if Soap decides he doesn't want to do it on a particular day, and never expects any more from him than for him to try. It's slow going at first, with lots of trial and error, but Soap learns to love Riley almost as much as Hesh. (He may still prefer his strays, but he lets Riley sleep at the foot of the bed, or on Hesh's side.)

I'm eventually going to add this into the Ghosts/141 fic, and future one shots/short fics, but for now I'm sharing it here! @tokillamockingbird427 currently has permission to use this for something they're writing, and I look forward to where they take this headcanon!

2. Tying back into number one, Soap prefers cats. He's always wanted a cat or two, maybe even three, but obviously given his line of work and how things go he can't really have one because it doesn't work out that well. Hesh also always wanted a cat, but loves Riley just as much as he loves his brother. So I have the headcanon of them having Riley and a cat or two if they ever lived together. Soap feeds a few strays that sneak onto the base, and when Hesh sees them he gets all excited and buys them treats to share when he visits. Soap loves watching Hesh around all animals, and seeing how much they love Hesh, further solidifies to Soap how good of a person Hesh is. Animals know these things.

3. Soap wants multiple kids, and Hesh couldn't agree with him more. Hesh loves families, loves big families, and he'd love to one day settle down with someone (no matter who, but in this case Soap) and have a family. It's rough in the beginning, getting used to Logan being back and seeing how close he gets with Ghost, but getting to know Soap and falling for him brings back all those paternal feelings he'd shoved down for so long. Soap's also hesitant at first. They both have a dangerous job, and have seen some serious shit, but he too always thought about a family. He makes a joke one day about adopting three kids and gets surprised by the elated look barely hidden on Hesh's face. He wants kids Soap, and lots of 'em! He learned how to be a good dad from his daddy, and he wants to put his knowledge to good use damnit! (Plus Soap thinks it's cute when he talks about a family with him, and planning for kids who aren't there yet.)

This is all I have so far, I know I have more, but I'll leave it here for now so I can come back to it and add more as they come back!

I'm really addicted to these two and it's seriously all @tokillamockingbird427 fault, I forget how exactly he introduced me, but he told me about them and now I'm addicted. It's consuming me. Just as bad as WalRuss lmao. Love my WalRuss and Sesh lads.

Hi! I LOVE your colors and I was wondering how you pick them? Like is there a certain process?

aah thank you so much!! im honestly not sure,, most of it is just balling but i can try to explain lol

for one i never use blending layers for shading unless theres a character with multiple markings i cant use a solid color over, i find multiply/overlay really limiting color wise, but i sometimes use them with a slight darker/lighter gradient over certain parts or the whole drawing to make it less flat :) shading is usually just a darker and slightly color shifted (sometimes less saturated) version of the original flat, i honestly cant tell u why i pick specific colors its mostly just random vibes lol most of the color pazazz comes from gradient maps tho! if ur not sure what they are i suggest looking into it but basically its a color gradient you can slap on the drawing to change the colors. i always do a rlly low opacity one at color or sometimes multiply/soft light but it can really bring ur colors together if it feels unharmonious or make it more colorful if it looks too bland. if you use clip studio you can find lots of gradient maps on the store thing heres an image to kinda convey what im talking about skdjsk
