Eddie’s Van (Ms. Bell Tolls)

Eddie’s pride and joy (besides his guitar), his van that Wayne went in with him on for his 18th birthday. Eddie joked with everyone in Hellfire that Wayne probably just did it to get him out of the house more, but in reality Wayne cares a lot about Eddie and knows he’s in a band, so what better kind of car than a van?

Her name is Bell Tolls, in honor of the song For Whom the Bell Tolls by Metallica. He only ever uses her full name when he’s upset with her and normally just calls her Bell. The windows on the rear doors of the van as well as the sides have tacky, wooden beaded curtains he found buried in a closet in his trailer hung up to keep people from being able to see inside; most likely because of the old mattress he has in the back (and the box of condoms up in his glove compartment along with his cassettes). He first put the old mattress in there so he could come and sleep in his van on nights that Wayne and he fight, but it’s definitely been used for other…activities.

There’s a stick on ash tray on almost every window, many of them with joint butts rattling around in them. STRONG stale weed smell in this van, folks. On top of this, there are at least three black eyeliner pencils loose in the compartment on the side of the driver’s side door, just in case he forgets to bring one to use before any Corroded Coffin shows. A combination of lighters, stray D20s, and a couple of extra guitar picks are scattered on the dash board, so every time he turns a little too tightly they all go clattering to one side or another.
