I love that whenever roosterteeth is trending on Tumblr, it's not a good thing.

I had achievement hunter (until the issue with Ray caused him to leave) then tentative returned for Kdin, Matt, Jeremy, Mica, iffy, Alfredo, and Trevor.

I'd drop achievement hunter when it was revealed that Ryan Haywood was grooming and soliciting minor female fans while under the guise of "wife/family guy." Roosterteeth did it's bare minimum to the community by legally pursuing after Ryan but there was no transparency in regards to that.

Mica left for "unknown" reasons before the Ryan Haywood scandal but then years later explained why she left. the company was only using her to be in contact with her father and white dudes making rt not a safe work environment, not so much from racist fans, but racism was so prevalent in the company including her direct boss, one of the founders of the goddamned company! surprise, surprise!

to which Geoff would go on camera and cry about it on the ah podcast and offer empty apologies and blubber about bullying from the fans side in his own experience and not talk deep into the company culture and management which is what Mica pointed out exclusively!

& then Kdin transitioned and revealed that Geoff and others in achievement hunter were horrible pieces of shit before her transition and even after her transition and how the company exploited her work and used her in pride promos but did not pay her for her inclusion for those "inclusivity" promos. All things that may not have resolved to this day.

I'm saddened to hear that good people who are under this company may have just learned that they're going to be out of a job but honestly fuck Rooster Teeth and ESPECIALLY FUCK WARNER BROTHERS.

Then there was Rwby and its scandals, from the beginning, after Monty tragically passed away and his IP was taken without any regard to his widow, who also knew his IP and how he wanted it to play out.

how the animators were in constant crunch to make the volumes, year after year. how piss poor management was in the animation department when it was under Gray's supervision, putting RWBY in first when they had other animations that were performing well but sidelined them because profits and he was also one of the writers for RWBY.

How he and the other male writers of RWBY played coy with the girls in the show and queer baited for years to keep interest but not confirm anything for whatever reaks

so yeah staring at the com screen real hard when i'm technically typing this as we speak jsjsjs so that he doesn't try and engage me.

tbh still wondering why he comes 1/2hr early when it's technically still my shift and i'm actually just letting him do the work of walking around the library jsjsj. (p.s. he has walked at least 5 rounds around the library when actually he could be sitting down because it's not his shift yet). i could also technically leave now but i don't want to give him the satisfaction.

random thought: how was he even a primary school library assistant anyway? the way that he got a feedback at him for being too pushy and aggressive really got me wondering.

perhaps the only thing that i'll ever miss from this pt job is having pockets of free time to do what i want without feeling guilty. that's also how i wrote my passion novel and listened to mental health podcasts, basically just trying to recover. i don't think i could have ever done this with any other pt job. but then again i feel like i'm ready to try and take the next step.

They wore all black, because the identifiability of that darkest shade meant that they wouldn't have to worry about clashing colours. An inconsequential problem, maybe, almost laughable in its insignificance, but it was the one piece of self-dignity they could still control. Back then, that was everything.

he didnt learn the basics properly coz he was self taught

his prodigious talents made him seek out more advanced spells and neglect basic foundations

he only ever researches stuff when he needs them and not as a proper school of thought

he actually has no real time and freedom to practice and explore his own magic

gaius is a sht teacher

having a dragon breathe knowledge into you is the ultimate lazy cheat code

he doesnt even enjoy his own magic anymore

he's a overworked meat shield with no frkn time for himself

he detests the things he's supposed to be traditionally good at because gaius keep telling him it's evil and dangerous

but ppl will hate that

so if merlin cannot do many of the stuff the antagonists can do then it's karma lol
