But her K-12 era…gOD, I loved everything about that. Especially The Principal, Lunchbox Friends, Orange Juice…aND THE AFTER SCHOOL EP?? The whole K-12 era was such a huge moment. I watched the movie so many times and loved seeing everyone learn the choreography for the different dances and I adored seeing all the videos from the tour?? I even painted the K-12 logo on a little canvas I thrifted and I have it on my wall still lol. So I just know that no matter what she does for Portals, I am gonna be so into it. ok, I think I’m finishing up week-long anxiety* (explanation under the cut) attack, hooray, I have two days off, so here is a ‘weekend’ to-do list:

- go for a run!

- I’m meeting a friend for happy hour, but I’m going to leave early to 1) drop off rent check 2) check out a comic book store that I’ve literally lived near for 3 years but been too intimidated to go in 3) do some non-deadline/new WIP (’damn you,’ I say as I shoo away the new WIPs from my brain with a broom) writing at the bar (also this will hopefully ensure we get a good spot on the terrace)

- tomorrow: start reorienting to working on the second ‘twin bastard wip’, which has a deadline (October!) and we’re going to start with the fight scenes this time. you hear that, self? start with the fight scenes. (I don’t actually have that much more to go on it, but it’s going to need a lot of smoothing out.)

- also depending on if I’m feeling better or worse tomorrow, I might just spend the evening watching comfort movies (we’ll see if it’s gotg bad haha)

so after a week of internally screaming all of the time, it has been concluded that I worried so hard I gave myself something called ‘pseudo dyspnea’ where basically my brain is like ‘I don’t think you can actually breathe tho’ and the rest of my body is like ‘um but we definitely can?’ and brain is just like....’hm I don’t think so tho actually’. I can, for sure, though, I ran 5 miles with like a 150m uphill climb two days ago, 0 other symptoms, and it resolves immediately if I’m sufficiently distracted, which is how the rational part of my brain has continued to know it’s not actually physiological. nope, it’s just literally thinking too hard.

so being a human is great. because if you think about it too hard it makes it worse. because human brains are actually really bad at breathing. like the brain stem has got things on lock, but then once the rest of the brain gets involved it’s like ‘oh no are you sure we’re doing this right?’

(it got all wrapped up in coronavirus stuff, I don’t think I’ve really properly emotionally processed the pandemic lockdowns and their sudden end, to say the least)

hello! I know something Happened™️ this week in the supernatural fandom, but I haven’t seen enough details to actually get it. what’s the scoop?

oh no, if i answer this i'm setting a precedent on Knowing Things

afaik the only significant event was a convention this weekend, which misha attended. his first panel on saturday had good juicy destiel questions, tho not all of his answers were to everyone's taste (i saw some real butthurt commentary, as though his headcanons somehow carry more weight and need to be Aggressively Shot Down in order for differing opinions to retain validity? idk). i don't actually watch con vids, cameos, or interviews, they make me break out in hives, so specifics beyond third-hand livetweets are outside my scope.

bullet points:

yes, the CW execs had a list of banned topics that the actors couldn't talk about (and it seems like misha was extremely glad to talk about them now)

misha said smth along the lines of "how long those two have wanted to fuck each other," implying dean reciprocated! hooray, destiel goes canon for the 1847473rd time since november 5th

apparently he and bobo berens began talking about making destiel canon ca. s14. i assume similar talks happened plenty of times before, but this time it was actually successful (....ish. sort of. y'know).

his most controversial statement: that cas was in denial about his love for dean for a long time. what constitutes "denial" and what constitutes "a long time" has sent the fandom into a froth.

second most controversial statement: he was pleased with how cas's character arc ended, and he was glad his confession wasn't met with dean saying "fuck off” (given the show in question, this strikes me as a very reasonable, if mildly depressing, hope to have). there was also something about cas looking into dean's eyes during the confession and seeing love in them; i'm a little fuzzy on the exact phrasing because i was getting sick of reading about the panel by that point

he was frustrated (possibly? i speculate) by how cas's powers were subject to the whims of the plot. he mentioned that there wasn't a lot of consistency, and he hoped the writers weren't watching the panel to hear him say that

his ideal endgame for cas was for him to become human and train the next generation of hunters alongside sam and dean in semi-retirement. this is controversial to me for the sole reason that i’m an endgame angel!cas truther.

also re: the topic of the bridgewater podcast, he mentioned that he recorded most of it in dick speight's closet. cue a joke about dick speight trying to get him to come out of the closet for a long time, cue speculation about whether he meant himself or cas

honorable mentions:

rob benedict said he personally believes chuck wasn't god the whole time, but that in early seasons he was just a prophet

the dude who played metatron is a massive destiel shipper, bless him

then there was a second panel he attended on sunday where the questions were all very bland and none were about destiel, which left the fanbase (and apparently misha, tho i cannot confirm this) deeply dissatisfied.

          Blog clean up & preface!! 

So... I know I mentioned in passing Imma clean up my blog this weekend. I want to give some context around why I’m doing it and have this post almost as a to-do list so I and whoever has an interest in this can keep up with what I’m doing. 

       REASONS: 

1. I have too many threads. It’s not a... 100+ number, hell I’ll bet it even reaches the 30 mark, but they get overwhelming, especially because I HATE being slow with replies. It makes me feel bad and stressed out and until I publish that reply it sits at the back of my head nagging me. Right now, I write both in the morning and evening and sometimes in my work breaks... That’s A LOT. I find myself not having time for my other hobbies and it just... Overwhelms me. 

2. Some threads I have I am just not feeling 100% plus I have inactive threads. I get it, life is busy for other people as well and I try to be very patient, but at some point, I need to cut my losses. This will also make sense in the context of me capping my threads for each muse. As for not feeling some threads, it’s my own fault on that. I probably said yes to a thread while not feeling the idea or the other muse and now I’m suffering. Me dropping our thread will NEVER be a reflection on your writing or your muse - just poor decisions on my part when making the thread. 

3. Overwhelming amount of mutuals. I only have like 50 mutuals, but it’s already too much. I will get a bit more stingy with how I follow people back as well. Unless I 100% feel like we can interact, I’m not following back, sorry. 

4. I felt like removing muses because they never get to interact. And I think that is because of all the reasons above. I put a lot of work into my muses and I’m sure everyone who’s ever made an OC knows just how many hours can go into one character. I really put a lot of effort into making sure my characters feel as real and rounded as possible. So I tend to have for them everything from aesthetics, to posts in my queue with their style, house/apartment, detailed bios and headcanons, I cut and make a lot of my own icons etc. So for me to feel like all that work is good to go down the drain, something is really wrong with my blog. And I’m not having it. 

     TO-DO LIST: 

- Thread clean up: I will make a post with ALL the threads that I have and have categories for: inactive, dropped, maybe and active. The ones in the maybe pile I’m thinking will stay in the maybe pile for like... A week and if I don’t get anything else from the mun to give me a reason to continue, I will drop. 

- Thread capping: All my muses will have a cap of 5 threads. That means that if I have 5 threads for Roger, for example, which I do, that means that muse is no longer available for interactions unless one of the existing threads is dropped or becomes inactive. This may or may not extend to secondary threads with the same muse. You can still send asks and memes for them, but they will NOT be turned into threads. This is so I can give all my babies a chance to have their own interactions. This will appear in their bios and will be updated regularly and might also make an interest checker. 

- Following list clean up: I will carefully go through every blog I follow and remove inactives or archives, then soft block all blogs I don’t see interacting with. I will make a post in advance to let you know when soft blocking will happen and if you really believe we can have something good going on, please follow me back and will re-asses. I know this is a bit of a cold move, but I need to be more selective. 

- I will TRY to make GDocs for my muses: I know a lot of you hang out on mobile, so I’ll try and get this done just to make it easier. Time for me to step into the 21st century lol 

      ADDITIONAL: 

- I’m making colour palettes aesthetics for my muses hooray haha 

- I’m making word aesthetics for some of my ships; not taking requests, tho, cause that will overwhelm me lol 

- I MIGHT write some poems for my ships as well, depending on writing inspo lol 

- Making some astrological based aesthetics for my muses 

- I might make short playlists for some of my ships, depending on how my time management goes lol

he’s a real one so he won’t say anything about the time you were really drunk and got separated from him so you stood on a table and screamed his name til he came and snatched you down lmao

lucas has reached full height as well so he’s like, so much bigger than you

also he’s gotten so much better at basketball and is practically the star of the team

you go to every game and cheer as loud as you can bc that’s your BOY

It’s been quite a while since I sat down and wrote down how life has been but I figured there’s no time like the present to get back into it. Crazy how fast this summer has flown by. I’ve been pretty occupied with working almost every day but the weekends, and in fact this next week is the first week of vacation I’ll have all summer. Hooray!!! I’ve been blessed with the opportunity of working with some pretty solid guys in the Grounds Crew; namely Richard and Mike. Richard is a 50 something year old man who I’m absolutely certain is clinically insane - there’s no end to his crazy antics, but he has a good heart and I’ve grown pretty fond of him. In fact I think he’s pretty fond of me too given the nickname of “Little Zeke” that he’s taken to calling me (Ironically he stands at a 5′9 to my 6′4). Mike is a 23 year old who has a fondness for trashy rap music, fast cars and an unhealthy amount of alcohol; but he also has been a great guy to work with this summer and between the 3 of us we make work quite a bit of fun. This summer hasn’t been all easy tho - 2 months ago I had to walk away from a relationship because of the worst thing that can cause a relationship to end, and that betrayal did hurt quite a bit. However God has been good to me - and through prayer and an overwhelming amount of love that my family and friends have showed me, I’ve made it through the summer feeling more and more convinced that this is all a part of Gods plan with each passing day. One of my favorite things from this summer is how much I’ve gotten into lifting. I go to the gym regularly about 5 days a week, and the steady progress I’ve made with increasing the weights I’ve been lifting has been an encouragement and is further pushing me work hard and make it to my goal of being a part of a lifting competition by the age of 25. Getting stronger and becoming more explosive is something I know I’ll need a lot for playing rugby in the fall, so I’m excited to see how this affects my game. This weekend has been a great bit of fun so far. Juliet came up yesterday and we went up to Beaver Falls and spent the night with D. I am very thankful for the both of them and have honestly been very grateful to God for the friendships I’ve made through both the rugby teams and am excited to further build those relationships and strengthen those bonds this coming year. 

I’m going to call this post to an end here. Sorry if I seem to ramble / clutter my thoughts all over the place - but its nice to have a place to just get my thoughts out. I’ve started watching Mad Men and I’m going to go continue watching that. But I’ll be regular with these posts.

Just woke up and its p early wow Had tutoring yesterday and was pretty angry about it because it was supposed to be on Tuesday but i WENT TO THE HOUSE and she was like sike i forgot can we do Sunday with no apology. Fuck her. Then on reflection i recalled she's asked for weekend sessions before and i said no so i reckon she "forgot". Ugh. Anyway cos i was so negative going into it tutoring was actually a lot better than i thought - the boy is more communicative than before and he laughs at my jokes even though his english isnt great. I found out his name is Wayne lol thank goodness because it was awkies af i tutored him for ages not knowing his name. Also he used to go to reddam so thats... wow for such a small sch everyone seems to be from there. Hes at st andrews cathedral college now tho im p sure. Then i went to meet ketherine and grace and ais and hamish for ramen at ippudo which was amazing and i had the karaka men with an egg and ais pressured me (how hes so quiet) into trying out the bang bang chicken tofu with him which was alright not bad. I wanted a pork bun but it was 5 dollarydoos so i withheld. Then afterwards i made everyone walk to a further bus stop so i could blow all that money and more on cheese tarts at uncle tetsus yum scrum. I got a honey madeleine as well cos honey cake stuff is amazing but it was pretty average. Oh well im so excited to eat the cheese tarts lol I have to do the final 6 lecs today and then ive done the course!!! Minus a couple of pracs and sgs and tutes but i reckon ill be ready to revise. Im actually p excited because normally im more behind than this so i really think ive improved this year (hooray) Nice long post cos i havent in awhile :) bye for now xx

So, I caught up with all of The Adventure Zone last week and decided that I wanted to do a Lup and Barry cosplay for Afest which is uhhhh next weekend. It's happening tho! My MIL is making our Red Robes, I'm making us some dope IPRE badges, and I did a costest of Lup today! We just need a few more things and we'll be ready for this Saturday! Also, Imma make this tank top say "Don't be a basic Lich" if I decide to go with this look XD Hooray last minute cosplay changes!! 😅And yes, I stole Barry's jacket. He has enough denim, damnit!!! Also, sorry to anyone looking forward to my Rose Quartz, but I just love TAZ and the finale is on Thursday aahhhh!!!!
