am i the only one feeling disappointed that day's song was undeservedly ignored in the series? why was it only included once in the end credits when it could have sounded from eps 10 to 12?
i do feel like day’s version of blame the stars was unfortunately a bit sidelined compared to the other songs, maybe because it didn’t get to have its own big moment to shine like i know it leads to morkday’s first time and plays during the scene itself, but it also happened in episode 9 where day losing his vision and last twilight (the song) being released basically overshadowed everything else, so it lost a lot of the impact that it could have had on the audience
and while i personally do wish they could have given it more of a spotlight in one of the last three episodes, im also not sure where they could have placed it, especially considering how they decided to make things go. both versions of blame the stars work as a sort of confession to me, a way for morkday to say ‘i love you’ to each other without actually saying those words, so the only other moment i think it would have made sense to play it was when they got back together, because it would have been like a reaffirmation of day’s feelings for mork, but.. well….. let’s just say im not really surprised they didn’t go for it ;;;;;;;; (in my dream ending for last twilight, day’s version of blame the stars played when day asked mork to marry him, but let’s not go there)
it does make me a little sad to see it having such little views on youtube tho, so i hope that with the live on stage happening soon more people will come to appreciate it!!!!!

a flavor of krbk that i always love is them just kinda clicking with each other and fitting together in their own special way in the non-romantic moments!! especially with the undertone of "whatever it is krbk has going on, their friends have resigned themselves to the fact that they'll probably never understand it." it's been a sec since i've done a translation but here's a comic that embodies that really, really well - the title is "mountains, krbk, and weeds" !
~IN THE MOUNTAINS!~
kirishima: ohhhh, bakugou!! there's some mountain flowers or something blooming over here! you think they're rare ones?
bakugou: ...ah, those are weeds
k (tiny): oh
k: bakugou, what's this one?
b: hah?? ah, that weed is sort of rare
k: what about these?
b: huh? that's an endangered weed, on the red list
k: ...
b: what
k, internal: what even is a weed...?
b: oi, kirishima
k (spaced out): yea?
b: this is a special weed that only grows around this mountain
k: .... (sfx: KYUN)
k: man, you're kind of a weirdo, aren't you (but my heart got all squeezy over it...)
b: HAH?? the hell do you think you're saying? you wanna go??

do you have thoughts about what if talay agreed to move in with puen in episode 6?
GOD I DO WONDER WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF TALAY ACCEPTED TO GO LIVE WITH PUEN
the thing is.. ep 6 and ep 7 are ESSENTIAL in talay's journey to realize and accept not only his own feelings for puen, but also puen's feelings for him, so it's hard to imagine things going differently. in this case, puen moving out of tun's apartment and going to live with tun's parents causes a separation that, however brief it may have been, makes talay understand just how much he wants puen to be part of his life. it also ends up making talay much more open to affection: he will never be as amorous as puen is, but he now admits to puen that he has missed him and goes from declaring "i don't like to be hugged" in ep 5 to giving puen the first of many hugs to come
maybe im wrong, but i feel like moving in with puen and being with him 24/7 at that particular point in time would have actually made talay withdraw into himself even more, because it was a stage of their relationship where he was very confused on the nature of their feelings for each other. we probably would have gotten some cute domestic scenes out of it, but i think they would have also been filled with an underlying tension (not of the good kind) and with a feeling of pressure, of uneasiness, that would have come from talay being too overwhelmed by puen’s presence. unlike what talay said, i don’t think they would have fought that much, just their usual banter that puen actually really likes, but talay always feeling on edge would have definitely made him lash out a bit more
i do believe that eventually we would have gotten the same outcome as the show (the two of them reconciliating in front of the 26 pictures building), because there are some events and choices that were always meant to happen: they were always going to reunite with up and aou, joob was always going to die and talay was always going to push puen towards pang……. i just think that talay moving in with puen would have actually made things way more painful (IF YOU CAN EVEN BELIEVE THAT)
just imagine the scene in episode 7 in front of tun’s parent’s house where talay tells puen he is leaving friend credits, except it happens in tun’s apartment after puen comes home to find talay packing his bags and ready to move out……. I WOULD NOT BE HERE RIGHT NOW BUT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE 16 STOREY BUILDING I WOULD HAVE THROWN MYSELF OFF OF
