Thank you for your request! Other than the little mishap, this was a fun one to do! You really had me thinking over what each one would get upset over, so hopefully they all fit!
Bang Chan
Tumblr media
You could feel his eyes bore through you as Chan stared at you through the glass in the hospital door. He looked frazzled. Hair a mess, the bags under his eyes even worse than before.
He stepped in and you watched all the air escape him as he took in your bandaged wrist.
"And what have we learned?" He said, voice soft but stern.
"To wait until help arrives and to not be a stubborn and impatient baby," you whined as he lifted up your hand. "They said it'll be a week or so before I can lift anything."
"Do you see why I was so insistent that you wait?" You nodded. "Plus I have seven able body movers who were ready to help us later tonight after rehearsals."
You whispered another apology as he took you into his arms and held you tight.
"I'm just glad you're okay and it was nothing major."
Lee Know
Tumblr media
You felt yourself wince as you stepped over the threshold of your apartment. You had been hoping to do some spring cleaning before Minho got home so he could just rest.
He had told you to do it in stages so you wouldn't overwork and hurt yourself, but what do you do? You overwork and hurt yourself.
Now you softly flinch as you spot him sitting in an armchair that you swear was never positioned in the middle of the hallway.
"I'm in trouble, aren't I?" You scratched the back of your head nervously.
"Big time." Minho stood from the chair and walked over. "You know I tell you not to do things because I care about you, right?" You nod. "So why go against me?"
"I wanted you to have a nice place to rest since you've been working so hard, but I just screwed up again." He pulled you into a soft hug, silently trying to find where you were hurt. "You're not even supposed to be home early. Why are you here?"
"You always send me a photo of your food before my lunch break if you're home, and I know for a fact that you have today off."
"You were worried?"
"Don't tell the media. I do have a reputation to uphold, you know."
Okay, the laugh hurt a little bit.
Changbin
Tumblr media
The front door opened and closed without Changbin's usual fanfare. Yup, you were in trouble.
His figure came around the corner with a small pharmacy bag and two cups of boba. Okay, so he wasn't that mad....yet.
"Are you okay?" Those words shocked you, having been ready for his beratement or something along those lines.
"I'm okay. A little sore, but okay." He walked over and handed you the drink and bag. "I thought you said you'll be late tonight."
"And I knew that if I didn't come home at my earliest convenience, you'd try something stupid again." You pouted as both of you knew he was right. "I know you want our first place to be perfect, but we have all the time in the world to decorate."
"I work from home, Bin. I need something to do other than watching a computer screen for eight hours."
"Then bring your laptop with you and visit the studio. The guys won't mind. They love you."
"Are you sure I won't be distracting?"
"Never. If anything, you might get annoyed with Jisung's antics."
"I'll take that risk."
Hyunjin
Tumblr media
The sound of feet rushing against the tile of your apartment floor brought you back to reality. Your little perch on the balcony slightly helped alleviate your headache.
Hyunjin stood there with a small pharmacy bag and a hand fan.
"Are you okay? Any breakouts or irritation?" He asked, worry filling his voice with each word.
"No. I got out quickly enough." You said, obviously tired. He switched on the hand fan and placed it yours as he set the bag aside. "I'm sorry."
"What were you doing in there anyway?"
"I wanted to clean up a bit. You were really stressed about it."
"I'd rather have a messy studio than have you in the hospital." His gaze drifted from you to the view. "Fresh air help?"
"Not as much as you."
Han
Tumblr media
Hearing footsteps approach, you quickly tried to get off the floor but to no avail.
"Aish..." Han's soft curse came from the doorway. "Didn't I tell you to wait for me before trying to unpack?"
The two of you had moved in together recently and your stuff was the last to unpack and also the heaviest.
"Did you finish your book already?" He asked as the two of you began to pick up the fallen novels. He could see your face scrunch at all the bent pages and covers.
"I thought the next one was in the stack of opened boxes. I just wanted to start and not have to bug you for something so small."
"You enjoy reading, yeah?" You slowly nodded. "Then it's not so small. I think it's small when I interrupt your reading for a thirty second clip opinion."
You nodded and placed another book back in the box as he tilted your chin over to look him in the eyes.
"If any of your books got ruined, they're replaceable. You know what's not? You. So ask me next time, okay?"
Felix
Tumblr media
It was a little embarrassing to have Felix walk in and see you with your hand submerged in a bowl of water.
"I thought I told you to do an ice shower," he sighed as he placed the bag in the table.
"Why would I need to shower for just my hand?" You slowly lifted out of the water and showed off the damage. "How bad?"
"Well, it's not blistering so that's good." Felix grabbed the kitchen towel to dry pat your hand. "What were you doing anyway?"
"Taking cookies out of the oven." You pointed over to where a batch of cookies still sat on the baking sheet. "I couldn't find the mitts so i used the rubber ones, but the back of my hand touched the metal."
"You're very brave to even keep them on the tray while in pain." He put the cream on and began to wrap it. "You're not allowed to bake without me here anymore, okay? At least, not until this heals."
"Oh no. I have to spend more quality time with my boyfriend. Whatever shall I do?" The sarcasm dripped from your words, making him smile and press against the injury.
"Don't make me regret it."
Seungmin
Tumblr media
His steps were frantic as he unlocked the apartment door. Part of him was thankful they had chosen to put security cameras in the house, but the other part cursed him cause it forced him to watch his partner take a nasty fall.
"Y/N?" He didn't raise his voice, knowing that you might have a bad headache.
Your hand peeked out from behind the kitchen island and he rushed over. He found you leaned against the cabinet with an ice pack against the back of your head.
"Hey," he whispered, "1 to 10?" You held up four fingers then four more. "Can you stand?" You signed out the sign for 'no.' "Can I carry you? I got the car running outside." You signed 'yes.' "Talking hurts?" You signed 'yes' again as he carefully lifted you into his arms.
You signed 'sorry' as you made it to the car.
"Why are you apologizing? It was an accident and the guys understand that." He gently placed you in the passenger seat. "They will want an update once you're all clear, okay?"
You signed 'okay.'
I.N
Tumblr media
Something was off. You had been avoiding his hand ever since he got home. Normally Jeongin won't mind, but you won't even hold it in front of you.
"You tried to hook up the gundam already, didn't you?" He said as he watched you freeze. "Show me the damage."
You slowly held your hand out, placing it softly in his. Small bandages say on a few knuckles while little red dots covered your palm.
"You tried to solder the wires without knowing how to use the tool, didn't you?" You tried to take your hand back but failed. "I told you to wait for me."
"But I wanted it done so that I could show it to you when you got home. Now it's just sitting there, taunting me."
"What's more fun? Building together or building alone?"
"Together." You sounded so shy.
"Then let's have dinner and we'll finish your project together." You nodded. "And then I yell at my brother to never give you a complicated set again."
"JEONGIN."

dancing the line, what are we? II g.clinton x reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
she's such a cutie, request here dancing the line, what are we? II g.clinton x reader
you tried to hide the happy smile on your face as you noticed grace walk into the change rooms for training, the dirty blonde catching your eye and sending you a beaming grin as she sat down at her locker to change.
"who you eyeballing?" you jumped in surprise as mary dropped down beside you with narrowed eyes. "no one, creeper keeper." you chuckled, attention shifting down to your feet as you laced up your boots. "mmm i know you're hiding something from me, and mark my words child i will find out what it is!" mary warned as you rolled your eyes.
"sorry to disappoint you mum, but there's nothing going on in my life you don't already know far too many details about." you patted the older girls shoulder who had taken you under her wing the moment you made the senior team, mary only scoffing at your choice of words.
"excuse me what have i told you? i am your cool older sister, not your mum! honestly the cheek of you." mary pulled you into a headlock as you whined and tried to pull away, the keeper forecefully dragging you away for training not letting you out of her tight hold.
but your annoyed frown melted away as you again caught grace's eye, the girl glancing up from where her own head was ducked down lacing up her boots, pulling a stupid face at you making you grin before mary yanked you out of the room.
out on the pitch now mary finally let you go, called over to begin training with the other keepers as you lingered around waiting for the rest of the girls to join you being one of the first outside, starting to stretch before warm ups at marcs orders.
"good mornin gorgeous." you smiled as grace appeared beside you, mumbling the last word quietly so only you would hear as the two of you exchanged a soft smile, continuing with your stretches in a comfortable silence as the rest of the girls wandered out.
"gonna be a warm one today." you sighed, closing your eyes as the warmth of the morning sun bathed the training field. "always is when you're round babe." grace retorted quickly, enjoying the blush that crept up your neck at her words, her thick northern accent your favorite sound as you shoved her playfully.
"someone call the babysitters, the children are fighting!" ella teased as you and grace pushed and smacked one another around, you jumping onto her back and wrapping an arm around her neck as she struggled to throw you off.
"oi! stop messing about, the pair of you." alessia warned, smacking both of you on the back of the head sternly as the whistles blew for everyone to huddle up. "sorry mum!" grace mocked, the two of you slinging your arms around one another and marching off as alessia rolled her eyes, her and ella following.
"do'ya wanna be me partner?" grace asked hopefully, practically running over to you as you all returned from your break, pairing off for some passing drills. "nah." you shook your head with a blank face, faking as if you were going to turn away.
"oh how very funny, she's a comedian now ladies and gents." grace clapped sarcastically as you took a bow, the two of you grabbing a ball and wandering off so you were a little more out of earshot of the rest of the team.
"would you like to get dinner tonight? maybe see a film?" you asked the blonde after a few minutes of silence had passed. "is this your way of tryna ask us on a date?" the midfielder teased, but agreeing eagerly right afterwards.
"i think we're past dates clinton once someones tongues been in my mouth i like to think i no longer need to use that word, its just implied." you shot back, smiling victoriously as for once she was the one to blush, forever normally the more confidently cocky out of the pair of you.
~
"i'll pick ya up later babe, round six or so?" grace proposed, murmuring in your ear as she hugged you goodbye and you nodded, the embrace perhaps lasting a second or so too long as you felt eyes on you.
"we've got an audience." you warned quietly, catching a wary looking alessia and mary clearly speaking about the pair of you as they looked to one another and then back to the two of you.
"let them look, we're only huggin." her taller form vibrated against yours as she chuckled. "besides i'll save what i'd rather be doing with ya for later tonight if you're lucky." she pulled away with a wink, kissing your cheek and darting away before you could hit her for the cheeky comment.
"can i help you?" you bluntly questioned the two older girls whose eyes seemingly refused to leave you as you sat down to pack up your bag.
"don't know, can you?" mary retorted cryptically as you gave her a weird look, quickly stuffing away grace's training jacket you'd stole the other day which poked out the top of your kit bag, trying not to make it obvious you were hiding it.
"that was a...long hug." alessia hinted, leaning back and narrowing her bright blue eyes at you. "do you and tooney not hug enough? oh i'm so sorry lessi, you must be touch depraved." you leaned forward and patted her knee with mock sympathy, voice dripping with sarcasm.
"is that grace on your lockscreen?" the blonde striker questioned again, pointing to your phone as you rolled your eyes and tucked it under your leg. the picture in question was her holding you up as you took a photo in the mirror which was in the entry way of her home.
"none of your business russo." you quipped, the older girl huffing at the use of her last name. "anything you'd like to tell us kid?" mary questioned with a raised eyebrow as you paused to ponder, looking off thoughtfully in the distance.
"umm, you need a shower cause you smell like a wet dog and you need a crash mat taped to your ass since you fell on it so many times today?" you guessed, pointing first to mary and then to alessia.
grabbing your bag and slinging it over your shoulder you sprinted out of the change rooms as they lunged for you, hearing their footsteps and angry shouts after you fade as you were known to be one of the quickest on the team, waving at them with a grin from your car.
"yeah thats right you little shit you better run!"
~
you tapped your phone screen as you heard a knock at your door, the time showing 5:41pm meaning grace was early.
she wasn't your girlfriend, but she was definitely more than your best friend. though neither of you had dared to even have that conversation with one another yet, much as it bore down on both your minds about what the two of you actually were.
you'd not grown up playing on the youth national teams, as much as you knew that was a huge goal for most professional footballers playing for your country wasn't something you'd ever really dreamt of, much to most peoples surprise.
you'd grown up in a football mad household, which had meant every single game you'd played was always over analysed, if it be by your older brothers or your dad you were always given some sort of harsh ribbing or yelled at for some silly mistake in the car ride home.
that pressure to be perfect, to play as best as you could and leave it all out on the pitch meant your relationship with football had become quite strained at one point, falling out of love with the game entirely for awhile.
but then you'd started at the manchester united academy, making your way up the ranks and slowly starting to adore it once more. but with that lingering pressure in the back of your mind, you'd always opted out of playing anything more than for club even once you made the senior womens team, however still endlessly proud of all your friends and teammates when they put on the kit for country.
with you and grace it all started off harmlessly enough. when she had signed on with united in the summer you were more than thrilled, finally having someone your own age to mess about with, growing tired of all the relentless teasing that came with being the baby of the team.
the two of you had clicked right away, paired up for drills her first training and both talking one anothers ears off you found you had a lot more in common than you'd anticipated beyond just your shared age.
which lead to you eagerly inviting her over for a movie night when you discovered your shared passion for 'childrens' movies, and the fact she had never seen cars which to you was basically committing a crime.
from then on the two of you developed a routine of sorts.
movie nights on wednesdays, going out for breakfast together on sundays, cooking dinner together on mondays, carpooling together to training and grabbing coffee, seated together on the busses to away games making shared playlists or binging whatever show you were hooked on.
then one night curled into one another clutching your stomachs with laughter at some dumb comedy on the tv you were half paying attention to, it happened.
you'd both shared a look as you'd come down from your laughter, not anything uncommon, but unlike any of the others this was the look.
and in that look you suddenly realized the feelings you had for your best friend grew beyond that of being friendly, and you found yourself lifting your chin up a little, hesitating slightly unsure if you were misreading anything.
thankfully you weren't, and so when grace moved to clear that few centimetres left between you, soft lips pressed finally against yours as she'd been wondering about for awhile now, the course of your relationship was altered.
from then on your shared routine shifted slightly. wednesday movie nights were still the same but now were accompanied by lazy makeout sessions as you grew more and more comfortable becoming intimate with one another.
lovesick giggles would fill the air as you mumbled against one anothers lips the most stupid of comments as you cooked dinners together on a monday. somehow still maintaining whatever conversation you were having prior to one of you making a move to commence an onslaught of soft kisses in between each word.
you'd been out together on a few dates but normally preferred the cozy comforts of one anothers homes and your usual routine, falling into step with one anothers habits and personal practices. though either of you were yet to spend the night together at one of your houses.
grace learned you'd often go to the local markets on a saturday, usually accompanied by some of your team mates it was no issue she tag along, but as she noticed you'd buy the same few things each week she learned to map out your usual route.
so when it was just the two of you she would take your hand, interlocking your fingers with hers and guiding you both around, knowing which stalls you'd want to stop at and sometimes darting ahead to purchase you something before you had the chance.
though most times one or two of your teammates would come with and you'd adapt, no longer holding hands but still exchanging knowing looks or flirty little comments in one anothers ears when you had a fleeting moment alone. locking pinkies under the table and playing footsies with hidden grins of glee when you'd all sit down for lunch together afterwards.
you'd learnt giving gifts was one of grace's love languages, little trinkets which evidenced that littered your home like the small jar full of sea shells she'd brought back with her after going away with her parents for the weekend to the seaside.
presenting them to you with a toothy grin and a story of how she'd made sure to hand select only the most beautiful of shells for the most beautiful of girls you'd smacked her for the cheesy comment but still rewarded her with a soft kiss and a thank you, her heart soaring as you did.
given that quality time was one of your own love languages you treasured the time the two of you got to spend together like your movie nights, dinners and little market dates. you could honestly spend every day with the taller girl and not grow bored, the two of you seemingly never running out of things to talk about.
but despite all of that neither one of you had actually come forward and asked what the two of you were, not quite dating but not quite friends you'd danced around the line of making it more or less.
it had seemed that one kiss had seamlessly shifted your already shared routine into one much more intimate, domestic and cozy, but both terrified of actually verbalizing that you'd not dared not to speak about it with one another.
leaving your straighter on to warm up you ran to the door as she knocked again. "hi! i'm not ready yet but technically you're early." you rushed out, stepping aside to let her in with a smile.
"dunno why you bother with all this crap, ya always look beautiful anyway." grace smiled back, gesturing to your half finished makeup as you hit her shoulder lightly.
"i see that eyeliner and concealer gracie, hypocrite." you teased, squishing her cheeks in your hand making her roll her eyes playfully and smack your hand away. "do you want a drink or anything?" you offered as she followed you to the kitchen.
"i'll take a tall glass of you? or well a short one maybe." you turned and her body melted into yours, your back just digging into the edge of the counter as she looked down at you with a pearly white grin, hands gently gripping your waist.
"always with the height jokes, get some new material for your stand up show woman really!" you sighed with a shake of your head. "i'll wear heels and we'll see eye to eye." you challenged as she only laughed.
"no ya won't." "no i won't, i hate heels and i'll be wearing trainers." you grinned, arms coming to wrap around her neck as the two of you just stood in silence for a moment, both with that same look of lovesick pining in your eyes as she leaned down to kiss you.
"oh shit i left my straighter on!" you remembered with wide eyes, pushing her off before she could and running to your room as the sound of her laughter followed.
"would forget ya head if it weren't attached to your body." grace tutted, laying down on your bed as you continued to get ready, the two of you chatting about the upcoming game against leicester city on the weekend.
"oh what film did we wanna see?" grace remembered, pushing her hips up to grab her phone from her back pocket, googling what your options were. after she'd listed them off you hummed and suggested two, telling her to make the final decision.
"why! i hate it." the midfielder groaned, head thumping back against your pillows as you finished your hair, tying half of it up into a loose bun as the rest cascaded down your bed, nodding in satisfaction at your appearance.
"cause i picked where we're goin for dinner. so you choose the film!" you smiled, poking her nose as you rummaged around in your bedside table looking for your favorite perfume. "here." grace reached over and grabbed it from the other side of the bed, holding it up.
though as you smiled gratefully and reached for it she moved it out of your grasp. "think i deserve a proper thanks." she grinned cheekily, tapping her lips with her free hand, still holding your perfume captive in the other.
"such a child." you teased, ducking down and pressing your lips to hers a few times sweetly, stealing your perfume before things went any further. "scuse you babe i'm three months older!" grace scoffed, pulling herself to sit up.
"so you never cease to remind me." you tutted in amusement, arms moving to hug her as you looked up with an adoring smile and her hands gently cupped your cheeks. "ya look gorgeous." grace complimented sweetly, ducking her head and kissing you again, though one hand moving to the back of your neck this time making sure it lasted a little longer.
pulling away once air became an issue, both your cheeks flushed rosy pink you pecked her lips a few more times before you mumbled the two of you would be late, interlocking fingers and heading out to her car.
~
"oi! is that..." alessia whined through a mouthful of ice cream as mary punched her arm to gain her attention, halting suddenly at the older girls words. "mary!" the blonde scolded, punching her back but following where her finger was pointing.
"sneaky sneaky children." ella whistled with a somewhat proud grin, the three of them spotting you and grace tucked up together in the back of the italian restaurant looking awfully cozy.
"you don't think..." alessia trailed off, looking from mary to ella and back to the two of you again with a raised eyebrow. "what? this surprises you? nah less come on!" ella laughed, though she stopped once she realised it seemed she was the only one not shocked.
"youse two are some of the closest people to them! how did ya not catch on they're seeing one another? thick!" ella smacked both girls with a shake of her head. "how did you know before we did tooney?" mary scoffed, throwing away her now empty cup and spoon.
"cause i've got eyes! you don't see the way they look at each other? stupid little shit eating grins, always hanging out together, always whispering about something, always hugging or touching or holding hands thinking they're being subtle about it." ella rolled her eyes at the secret which was apparently not a secret, her and maya having made a bet from the very first week grace signed on that the two of you would wind up dating.
a bet which it now looked like ella would win and be twenty pound richer because of it.
"oh my god surely they're not about to-" marys eyes widened. "oh but they are." ella nodded knowingly. "how did we not notice?" alessia huffed, nostrils flaring in annoyance at their ignorance.
"lady and the tramp, how disgustingly cliche." ella tutted as you and grace shared a piece of pasta, pecking lips at the end and grinning at one another stupidly.
"i'm just going to the toilet." you spoke, grace pulling a face of mock disgust as you shoved her with a roll of your eyes, the taller girl tugging on the back of your dress and leaning up to kiss you goodbye.
"clingy." you teased, dodging her hands which reached out to pinch you, ducking away to use the bathroom.
finishing up you made sure grace's attention was on her phone as you snuck past the table and to the front to pay, thanking the waiter with a smile as he handed you the receipt.
though that smile was completely wiped off your face as a strange feeling you were being watched settled over you, goosebumps prickling at your arms as you looked around, and thats when you spotted them.
mary shook her head with a unreadably firm stare, ella gave you a proud grin and a thumbs up and alessia quite frankly looked like she wanted to murder you, the three of them all outside on the street by the door clearly awaiting the two of you to leave before they pounced.
hastily turning around you hurried back to the table, dropping down beside grace who scoffed at the docket in your hand. "what'd ya do that for!" she groaned, having wanted to pay for the two of you.
"we have much bigger problems right now." you warned, grabbing her chin and turning her head to lock eyes with the three older girls at the front window as they widened in fear.
"well fuck." "fuck indeed. what do we do? sneak out the back?" "nah they know we're here now. but i don't really fancy a tellin off tonight, do you?" with that she gave you a grin, fear melted away as you tilted your head curiously and she filled you in on her plan.
again thanking the waiter you both exited the resteraunt, hand in hand and shrinking slightly under the unwavering glares of the older girls standing across from you.
"evenin girls." grace grinned, squeezing your hand and making a point to bring it up to her mouth placing a gentle kiss on your knuckles. "whats all this then?" alessia questioned, narrowing her eyes. "just two best mates gone for a feed." grace answered with a sly smile.
"bullshit. you two are in some serious trouble." mary warned sternly, alessia smacking ella who was pulling faces and still giving the two of you a proud thumbs up.
"serious trouble." alessia echoed marys words, fixing you both with a glare as grace squeezed your hand twice like you'd planned. "ah thats a shame. look we'd love to stay and chat girls but-" with that the two of you turned and sprinted off, chased quickly by both alessia and mary as ella stayed behind to cheer you both on, finding endless amusement in the situation.
"c'mere." rounding a corner grace tugged you into her body, ducking the two of you down and out of sight behind a large bin. "where the fuck did they go!" you heard mary huff angrily, trying to catch her breath.
"you two little shits can hide for now but you can't hide forever! we'll see you at training tomorrow." alessia yelled out menacingly, both you and grace holding a hand over one anothers mouths and waiting until you were certain that they'd left.
"where the fuck did they go!" you mocked mary. "we'll see you at training tomorrow." grace mimicked alessia as the two of you collapsed to the ground laughing, clutching at your stomachs. "guess the secrets out." you smiled, head resting against the wall behind your head as you caught your breath.
a comfortable silence fell between the two of you, graces eyes roaming your face with a tender smile, a surge of emotions flooding her body at the thought of the entire team soon knowing you were...well, what exactly?
"will ya be me girlfriend?" the midfielder blurted out suddenly, face flushing bright red at its abrupt nature. "nah." you declined before your face broke out into a grin and you launched at her. "of course." you mumbled against her lips, pressing a searing kiss to them and sending the older girls head into a spin.
"could have asked me somewhere a bit more romantic than on a dirty sidewalk behind a bin though babe."
“we were runnin for our lives together, what’s more romantic than that?”
~
“good mornin girlfriend!” grace sang out happily as you jumped into her car to go to training, taken aback by the withering glare you sent her way as a greeting.
“whats wrong?” she questioned with a frown as you huffed and moved your hair off your shoulder, clearly showing off the two bright red and purple hickies littering your neck.
“oh.”
“oh!” you mocked, sinking into the chair with a groan, burying your face in your hands. “sorry?” grace smiled sheepishly, wincing at the murderous look you gave her and quickly focusing her attention on the road as she reversed out of your driveway.
after the high of finally making things official last night you’d both opted to ditch the movies in favour of going back to your place to watch one together instead.
however you hardly spent more than five minutes watching whatever grace had put on, still riding out the high of being girlfriends you’d quickly moved to makeout and well, things escalated slightly from there.
it was the first time grace had ever left any sort of mark on you, feeling a brand new sense of possessiveness as she’d hovered over you on the lounge, her face pressed into your neck only encouraged by the noises she’d coaxed out of your mouth, exploring the sensitive area with her lips, then with her tongue, then her teeth.
and well, here you were.
“they’re really not that noticeable babe.” grace tried to assure you, taking your hand as you walked into the training centre and headed for the change rooms.
“plus they’ll be too busy yellin at us for runnin away anyway!”
sure enough the moment the two of you entered the change rooms you were met with an onslaught of teasing which you both brushed off, sitting down together to put your boots on.
though no sooner had you sat down did two shadows loom over you both, alessia and mary. they shared a look and a nod before wordlessly grabbing the two of you, alessia tugging you away by the collar of your training top as mary did the same with grace.
"less! come on it was a bit of fun." you whined as she pulled you forcefully out of the change rooms and down the hall, grace and mary dissapearing out around the corner down the opposite end.
"how long?" the older girl sat you down on a bench, folding her arms over her chest and fixing you with a glare. "since last night." you answered honestly, the blonde raising an eyebrow clearly expecting a different answer.
"honestly!" you shrugged. "i am not in the mood for games." alessia warned sternly causing you to let out a sigh. "we've been...hanging out for about a month now? but she only asked me to be her girlfriend last night, truthfully." you promised with a nod.
"if you hurt her...i will hurt you, and i will make sure it is the last time you ever speak to her. yeah?" alessia warned seriously, leaning down closer to you as you nodded repeatedly.
"i wouldn't, i promise."
"okay. well now thats all out of the way!" you almost had whiplash as the taller girl pulled you up into a tight bear hug. "our little babies all coupled up, so cute." she pinched your cheeks harshly as you grunted and pushed her off.
"why didn't you tell us though! that was the most hurtful part of all." alessia slung an arm over your shoulder with a shake of her head, pulling you into her side as the two of you walked back toward the changing room.
"it wasn't anyones business, it still isn't!" you rolled your eyes, spotting grace and mary returning in a similar position to you as all four of you walked back into the mostly empty changing room.
"you get a shovel talk too then?" grace chuckled, the two of you sitting back down to finish putting your shoes on. "if you hurt her i will hurt you, and i will make sure it is the last time you ever speak to her." you mocked alessia.
"i got; if you harm a single little hair on her head i will not hesitate to break both your legs, you treat her with respect or i make you dissapear." grace did her best to mock mary, but her northern accent made it near impossible as you let out a small laugh.
"idiots, the pair of them." you whispered to her, grace humming in agreement and kissing your cheek causing them to warm up with a slight blush as you kissed hers back.
"ugh no kissing before at least ten in the morning please." alessia fake gagged as the four of you stood to head toward the pitch.
"yeah lets not forget you're both children, our little babies." mary added on with a coo, grace grabbing you suddenly and pulling you into a proper kiss as loud retches echoed around the change room and you smiled against her lips before pulling away.
"oi excuse me what are these? did you do this to her gracie?!" mary grabbed you suddenly, moving your hair out of the way and pointing accusingly at the hickies then back to your girlfriend. "no!" grace scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest.
"you got them from someone else!?" alessia glowered, balling her fists as you shook your head. "of course not!" you shot grace a glare as she sent you a wink, taking your hand and tugging you out of marys grip.
"better get used to it you two, now she's me girlfriend we can do whatever we want."

Hey hey hey!
Could I maybe make a request featuring Yanquing (purely platonic, of course) and the dozing general (very much romantical)?
Bascially the idea for the scenario is that the reader is a blacksmith on the Luofu, whom Yanquing visits quite often and views as a mother figure (or perhaps she is his bio-mom, I'll leave that up to you to decide). Maybe he mentions her (the reader) often, leading to Jing Yuan becoming interested in the reader, and he decides to pay them a visit?
Hope you find this interesting!
I Do find this interesting hehe it’s giving me somewhat of a cute and funny idea, I hope you don’t mind when I make this a little bit silly! Hopefully you find it cute! I’m imagining a love at first sight thing and it’s driving me CRAZY.
I think I’ll leave reader as his mother figure
-Mother figure to Yanqing!reader meets the Dozing General-
You’re working hard at your forge, when you hear the familiar sound of the little boy you adore to pieces approaching fast. And another voice with him… Interesting. Perhaps he was bringing a friend today…?
Regardless, you finish up what you’re working on and proceed to greet Yanqing at the entrance of your shop, and discover that the other voice following behind him was none other than Jing Yuan, General of the Luofu.
“Welcome in, Yanqing…General…” you say the General bit a little shyly. Oh my gosh, you had never seen the General in person before. He was…very handsome, with nice features and a pleasant face. His eyes widen just a bit at the sight of you at first, but then return to lazy and relaxed.
“Please, Yanqing has told me all about you, Jing Yuan will do fine…” he smiles warmly at you.
“O-okay…Jing Yuan…welcome to my shop…” Yanqing has said his brief hellos and has already run past you, scouring your shop for new swords.
“It’s a lovely place,” he says.
“Thank you…” why. Were you feeling. So SHY?!! When has a good looking man ever had this kind of affect on you?!
Yanqing returns a moment later with his arms filled with swords.
“Put them on the table, I’ll buy them for you,” Jing Yuan says.
“Really? But you never-”
“Just do it,” he insists. Truthfully Jing Yuan was just trying to impress you by showing you he was good with kids, but Yanqing was making the plan backfire quite a bit.
Yanqing wasn’t going to reject free swords!
“Thank you, sir!” you say as he fulfills the order. He spent…quite a bit of money on swords that day, but who were you to complain?
Yanqing and the General walk out, Yanqing having insisted on carrying all the swords himself…
Once their out of earshot, the General speaks.
“So…y/n…”
“What about her?” Yanqing asks.
“Is she single?” the General replies, a sudden desperation in his voice. He stops walking, grabs Yanqing by the shoulders.
Yanqing gags a bit, nearly dropping all his swords. “Ew Ew Ew! GENERAL! She’s like a MOM to me!!” Yanqing protests, frankly, disgusted by the thought of- Ugh he didn’t even want to think about it.
“That’s not what I asked. I asked if she was single!” the General replies, shaking the boy gently by the shoulders, causing a few passersby to stare.
“Well. I mean…yes-but…”
The General let’s the boy go, stands back up to his full height and regains his composure.
“Interesting. Thank you, Yanqing.”
“You’re welcome, General,” Yanqing deadpans, having a terrible feeling about this.
“I trust you’ll invite me next time you go and visit her?” Jing Yuan says it like Yanqing has a choice but the boy knows he doesn’t.
Author’s note: hahaha hope you like, this one was fun to write!

Anime only watchers and people who aren't caught up with the Manga, BEWARE... Cuz I'm about to discuss Spy X Family Short Mission 11... You have been warned...! 👌
[SPOILERS AHEAD FROM THIS POINT ON]
Today's chapter may have been a Short Mission + a Special Illustration, but it may have given us some interesting tidbits to think on...! 🤔 So let's talk about it, shall we?
First up, let's discuss the Special Illustration:
Tumblr media
🥲 Why, Endo...? WHY ARE YOU HURTING ME LIKE THIS...!?!? 💔😭💔
The Special Illustration is of Anya looking at the front door of the orphanage that she was left at and it really has this very melancholic feel to it... 😞 In fact...
This may be the saddest Special Illustration we've ever had in the series thus far... 😢
It makes me wonder if we're going to be getting more information on Anya's past soon...? 🤔
Now let's talk about the Short Mission...!! 👍
Tumblr media
It starts by letting us know that it takes place when Anya was first going into Eden Academy...! 👀 This is somewhat of a first because the Short Missions usually don't state when they take place, but, there are some that can you clearly tell where they are supposed to be placed in the story...! 😁
Then, we learn that this how and when Anya gets her name plate for her bedroom door...!!
Tumblr media
It makes sense that Anya would want a door plate because she saw it in a cartoon!! 😄
And when she gets it, this is how she carves her into it:
Tumblr media
Which is not only how it was written in the early chapters...: (As seen here in Mission 10:)
Tumblr media
But... It's also how Anya's name was originally spelled in the first translation of the manga...! 😲
Some time after, Twilight brings up the misspelling of her name:
Tumblr media
AND THIS IS HER REACTION:
Tumblr media
Then, we see that the name plate was changed to "Anya"...:
Tumblr media
And finally, we end this Short Mission in Anya's room laying on her bed like this...:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHY DOES THE END OF THIS SHORT MISSION FEEL REALLY SAD TO ME...!?!? 💔😭💔
Is "Anya" not her really name...? What does all of this mean...!? 😫
And that was Short Mission 11... Usually, Short Missions are just fun mini adventures, but this one (and it's Special Illustration) have a very melancholic feel to me... 😓 And like I said earlier, this could potentially have something to do with Anya's past, maybe in the near future...? 👀
Anyway, this was a very interesting Short Mission that I'm curious to see if it'll play a part into the overall story at all...!! 😄 So until the next Mission... Take care, be safe out there, be kind to one another...!! Later!! 🤗
P.S.: I didn't get around to doing a review for episode 33 of the anime because I was extremely tired yesterday... 😩 Hopefully, I'll get around to writing it today...!! 😊

Piece of My Heart
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x Reader
Summary: This was not how Natasha thought life would pan out for her, a life without you was never in her cards.
Angst | Slight Fluff | Character Death | Pregnancy Talk | Mentions of Blood | Childbirth | Slightly Child Neglect | She/her/they Pronouns | 3.9K
Translations: dorogoy (sweetheart), malyshka (baby girl), zhena (wife),
AC: An idea I couldn’t get out of my head, sorry for the harsh Angst!!
Tumblr media
"Gezz baby, you're kicking a lot today!" you spoke to your swollen stomach, a hand supporting your lower back as you finished cleaning up the mess from lunch. It wasn't ideal being cooped up in a small trailer with your wife and being on the run from the government while heavily pregnant, but you couldn't bear to do this without her. You refused to carry out the remainder of your pregnancy without Natasha holding your hand in the hospital while you both welcomed your new-born baby into this crazy world.
Natasha wasn't a fan of the idea of taking you with her, but nothing scared her more than refusing her pregnant wife. It wasn't easy going under the radar with you, but it worked, and the trailer seemed to do just fine for the meantime. In fact, Natasha was short of grateful for being able to have you all to herself. It gave her a chance to prepare herself for a whole new world, parenthood. She loved walking around the surroundings with you, waking up to you beside her, talking nonsense to your stomach while you twirled with her hair, making future plans with you, making promises with you, just simply being with you before her second love would steal her heart.
"I bet you miss mama already huh?" you rubbed your stomach softly as you made yourself comfortable on the bed again. Your due date was 3 days ago, and you were well over being pregnant, you just wanted to meet your little love already. "She'll be back shortly and hopefully with that ice cream and banana milkshake" you smiled softly before letting your eyes close for a moment, still rubbing your stomach to sooth their kicking. "God I hope she's back soon, that milkshake would be really nice, wouldn't it" you chuckled lightly before letting yourself drift into a slumber.
Natasha returned, quietly entering the trailer in hopes not to wake you if you were asleep. She placed the ice-cream and milkshake on the table before your calls for her made her smile.
 "Hi darling, I got yo-"
"My water broke, don't freak out but I need you to get so-"
"What?! Baby, are you okay?! Let's get you to the hospital!" Natasha stressed rushing to the small wardrobe to collect some belongings. "Natalia, honey, look at me" you spoke, your words going in one ear and out the other. "Natasha!" you raised your voice causing her to stop her actions, "we're not going to the hospital, I'll be damned if I let us get arrested while I'm in labour! I need you to listen to me"
"But dorogoy, I don't ca-"
"NATASHA! PLEASE!" you screamed in pain before throwing your head back on to the pillow, "I need you to get some warm water and some towels, right now, please" you looked at her with begging eyes. Natasha nodded and rushed into the kitchen while you started doing your breathing exercises that you learned in the early states of your pregnancy, Natasha has never wished for help more than right now. Your screams echoed through the trailer, her heart skipping beats knowing she'd be meeting her son or daughter today and she didn't care if she was caught while you were in labor, she just wanted you in the hands of professionals.
She returned with the face of any mother who was about to meet their baby, she gently and slowly pulled your sweatpants pants off and threw them into a wash basket for later. "Baby, how long ago did your water break?!" Natasha looked up at you with a slightly frown, "45 minutes ago! YOU TOOK SO LONG TO GET BACK!" Your voice got louder as another contraction ripped through your body, your fists gripping the bed covers as Natasha tried her best not to freak out.
----
Hours past full of screams and cries of pain, Natasha kept you cool with cold towels while holding your hand any chance she got. "Okay, malyshka, I think it's time to push, I can see their head" Natasha looked up between your legs, finally it was time. You took a moment to remember everything you'd learnt over the course of your pregnancy, nodding to Natasha when you were ready to push.
"Are you ready?" you asked her before doing anything else, "I'm not pushing this baby out if you're not ready Natalia, I need you to bed ready, please, are y-"
"Hey, listen to me dorogoy, I'm ready" she interrupted with a soft smile, "I'm more than ready to meet our beautiful baby, I'm ready to quit and give you both the life we talk about. I'm ready my love, more than ready" she assured you; tears filled your eyes from so many mixed emotions. Your wife has never looked more beautiful to you than right now, ready to take this new chapter of life with you. "I'm going to push now" tears rolled down your cheeks as you smiled softly at her.
Natasha braced herself with the towels and warm water as you began to push, your screams getting louder and all she wanted to do was hold you. Breathing with you and wiping the sweat from your forehead but instead she had her eyes glued to the exact moment your baby would enter the world kicking and screaming.
"Oh baby, they're beautiful" Natasha looked up at you, "just one more big push" she added, her eyes full of true love. You pushed, one last time, your scream faded out from the screaming cries of your new-born baby, you let out a big sigh of relief and watched in tears as Natasha cut the cord and wrapped her gently in a towel. "Look mommy, meet your daughter" Natasha smiled, tears of her own streaming down her face as she gently handed you the new baby girl.
"She's beautiful" you sobbed with joy the moment your eyes landed on her. Nat kissed your temple and wiped your sweat with a clean towel, "you did so well my love, look what we did, she's here" she kissed your lips softly before you both looked down at your daughter in awe. "Baby, can you please take her? I feel a bit dizzy" you tiredly looked at your wife. You knew something was wrong, but you didn't want to worry Natasha, you gently placed a soft kiss on your daughter's head as Natasha carefully took her into her arms.
"Let's get you both cleaned up" Natasha smiled as she wrapped another clean towel from the pile beside you, she dipped the towel into some warm water and began to gently wipe your daughter's face. You watched for a moment, taking in the sight of your wife and daughter with a faint smile, "I love you so much, Natalia" you spoke weakly. Natasha turned with your daughter in her arms to see your eyes closed. "Y/n, dorogoy, d-don't sleep just yet" she gently placed your daughter in the stolen bassinet she found weeks ago.
It was only then Natasha noticed the pool of blood coming from you that something was wrong. She rushed to you, grabbing all the towels she could to stop the bleeding, every towel soaked with the color red. "Baby, come on, please wake up, please!" she begged, your daughter started crying as you lay there with a faint smile still on your lips, it was too late.
----
The cold silence filled the trailer, Natasha sat outside on a chair by the door, tears endless streaming down her face as your daughter slept peacefully in her arms. Mason emerged from the tears, confused on Natasha's desperate 911 page to him. "T-take her" her eyes looked up at him, the life sucked right out of them. He didn't ask any questions, he didn't say a word, he took her sleeping daughter in his arms. "Don't come in, just, I don't care, just don't" she mumbled as she opened the door to the trailer, again, Mason didn't say a word.
Natasha closed the door and locked it, her eyes traveling up the short hall to the bedroom where you lay. She grabbed all the left over clean towels and brokenly walked into the bedroom where she respectfully cleaned you from the blood and put your favorite pair of her sweatpants on before she sat beside you, pulling your lifeless body closer to her.
"My beautiful zhena" she gently brushed your hair back, "I'm so sorry, I should've just taken you to the hospital" she hated how cold you felt, "I love you so much my love, you're my life, my reason to wake up, my everything" her voice broke as more tears poured down her cheeks like a waterfall, falling onto your cold skin as she kissed your forehead.
She laid with you until she knew it was time to let Mason take your body for her, bury you in a place she could visit you once all this was over. "Where do you want me to take her?" Mason asked as he handed your daughter back to her. "Bury her under the oak tree at the lake by the compound. I want her to face the water, don't leave anything behind and don't say a word to anybody. Play her favourite song and bury her with this" Natasha explained, her tears not stopping as she hands Mason a baby tee that said, "mommy gives the best hugs".
Mason nodded and Natasha slowly walked away from the trailer while Mason carefully carried your body back to his chopper. She refused to watch, refused to let your daughter see her mother be taken away like this, "I'm so sorry angel" Natasha placed a kiss on her daughter's forehead as she rocked her gently.
"Are you going to be okay?" Mason asked quietly. Natasha shook her head, "I'll wire you the money when I can" She changed the topic, "no, not for this. Maybe I should stick around, make sure you're okay" the man suggested having never seen Natasha in this state, it worried him. "No, I don't need you to stay here, I need you to bury my wife because I can't. I need you to make sure she's safe and home because I'm here with our daughter who doesn't even know her mother died. Please, I just need you to do this for me, don't come back here, we won't be here" Natasha's tone was stern. Mason knew better then to argue.
----
A week passed by quickly but for Natasha it felt like not a day had passed. She didn't enter the bedroom anymore, the door remained closed, and she made herself comfortable on the small, uncomfortable sofa the trailer had. Your daughter, still waiting to be named kept Natasha from sleeping more than 3 hours. Natasha did everything she had too with what little she had. She wasn't one for praying but she prayed every night that she could return to the compound to be with you, she needed help and help was only a knock on the door.
"Wanda? Wh-what are you doing here?" Natasha answered the door with a frown, "you haven't answered any pages or messages. You look like hell" Wanda joked but Natasha didn't react, "What are you doing here?" she asked sternly.
"Natasha, we're free. You're and Y/n are no longer wanted"
Natasha's eyes flickered at the mention of your name making Wanda frown, "what's happened?" Wanda took in the state Natasha was in. Dark circles around her eyes, her stained tee and sweats quickly worried Wanda, "Nat" she spoke softly. Natasha shook her head as the tears streamed down her cheeks once again, her knees weakening as she watched Wanda come to the realization. "No" the witch shook her head as tears welled at her eyes; Natasha just nodded slowly as her endless stream of tears spoke more words than she could.
Wanda instantly pulled Natasha in for a hug, the widow wishing it was your arms wrapped around her as she broke down in her friend's arms. "You should've called, Nat" Wanda rubbed her back trying to keep strong for the redhead. It wasn't until a moment later that the cries of a new-born came from the inside of the trailer. Wanda looked up, her heart breaking even more as Natasha gently pulled away and made her way inside the trailer.
The cries of you baby girl broke Wanda's heart as she stepped inside the trailer, Natasha turned around slowly holding her daughter carefully in her arms as she looked up at Wanda. "I can't do this" Natasha spoke so softly that Wanda almost didn't hear her, she didn't stay still for another second before Wanda found herself gently scooping the baby from her friend's arms, "make her stop, please" Natasha's begging eyes filled with grief screamed at Wanda.
"She cries all the time, she doesn't sleep more than 3 or 4 hours, and I don-"
"It's okay" Wanda stopped the redhead from finishing her sentence, "I've got her" she smiled softly as her eyes took in the features of your week-old daughter filling the room with silence when Wanda started to gently rock her in her arms. "She's beautiful, Nat" Wanda commented, her tears slowly streaming down her cheeks.
"Mhm" Natasha mumbled, "I take it you got here by jet?" she asked ignoring the loving look on Wanda's face.
"Yeah, Clint's waiting" Wanda's eyes never leaving the now sleeping baby in her arms.
"Take her back to the others. Just take whatever you need, I don't care"
Wanda looked up at Natasha, "Nat, you're coming with us" she gently placed the little girl in her bassinet before looking back at Natasha. "I know you're hurting" she spoke as she walked over to her friend and fellow Avenger before placing her hand on top of Natasha's, "you need time, I understand. Let us help you, let us be there for you and that beautiful little girl you have. Don't shut yourself off now Natasha, not after how hard you've worked to let yourself come this far. Y/n would tell you the same thing, you know that" Wanda continued.
"I don't want to hear it, I don't' want to go back to the compound and hear how loved and valued Y/n was, I don't want to hear how they made everybody feel some kind of way or how their smile lit up the entire room because I know. I know, okay? I know that they had the power to make everybody around them seem special, I know they had this way about them that made you forget the shit we see! I don't want to hear how sorry everybody is that I lost them, I can't do it!"
"Then don't, we'll go home and give you the space you need. I'll look after your baby girl in the meantime, but you have to promise me one thing" Wanda looked deeply into Natasha's eyes and saw a lost soul, a lover waiting for her lover to return.
"What?" Natasha sighed.
"You talk to me, you let me in. You know Y/n would never let you slip. Nat, they were my best friend, you are my best friend and they made me promise that if anything ever happened to them that I would take care of you, they made Clint promise the same thing which is why we're here. If anybody is going to get you come back with us it'll be them" Wanda smiled so softly it was almost faint, "come home Nat".
"They are my home Wanda" Natasha sobbed, letting herself crash into Wanda gripping onto her like her life depended on it. "I know" Wanda whispered as she comforted her friend, "I know" she repeated.
----
"How's the mini widow this morning?" Tony smiled softly at the sleeping baby in the pusher as Wanda shushed him for being too loud, "I just got her to sleep, if you wake her, you deal with her" she warned in a whisper.
"Alright, what about big wi-…how's Nat?" he asked in the same lowered tone as Wanda, his joke not at all seeming funny to call Natasha a widow at this time.
"She won't even look at her let alone acknowledge her. It's been three weeks since they came home and mini widow is a month old, she needs a name before she actually gets used to mini widow"
"Want me to have a chat with her?" Tony offered.
Wanda shook her head lightly, "and push her further down the hole? I don't think so" she joked, "watch the baby, I'm going to try and get her to eat something" she added before patting him on the shoulder. "Hey, I have things to do!" Tony tried to stop Wanda from leaving, "you wake her, don't come crying to me Stark!" Wanda replied as she made her way to Natasha's room.
If Natasha wasn't in her room, she was either in the gym or by the place Mason buried you. Everybody was warned by Wanda not to hover around her or remind her of the wonderful person you were, for that, Natasha already knew how wonderful you were. She only spoke to Clint and Wanda and a few words to the others, but it was tiring for her to try and show any form of emotion. Clint was the one who was able to get her into the gym again, letting her take out her anger and hurt on a punching bag.
"I already ate but thank you" Natasha spoke softly to Wanda while she dried her soaked hair with a towel. "Beat me to it today" Wanda placed the breakfast roll on Natasha's desk, "So, how do you feel about seeing mini widow today?" she asked while watching Natasha grab her hair brush from the end of her bed.
"Wands I ca-"
"Natasha, she needs you. You're her mother, she doesn't us, she wants you" she interrupted her.
"Wanda! I can't!" Natasha snapped, "I can't look at her and not see Y/n! I can't look at her and not think about Y/n and how we were supposed to raise her together! The moment I saw her she reminded me so much of Y/n and the only moment I want to remember is the short 15 seconds I had with them both. Now please, stop asking me every day if I want to see her because I can't do it" Natasha's eyes filled with tears, "I miss her so much, I'm just not ready to let her go" she added.
"You're not letting her go, Nat. Y/n is always going to be a part of your life, they are going to live through you, through me, through the others and that beautiful angel downstairs. I know it's hard, I can't imagine the thoughts you are having but that little girl has lost her mother and if you think I'm going to let her lose her other mother, you must think I am stupid. So, I'm going to ask you every damn day if you want to see her because she is your daughter and I'd do the exact same thing if it were Y/n in your shoes right now" Wanda's tone was stern but meant care. Natasha was being stubborn, and Wanda knew you'd never allow her to continue to slip into the dark hold grief can hold over somebody.
"We're going for a walk around the compound today, if you want to join us, you're welcome too" Wanda added before leaving the room. Her heart racing, worried Natasha would have her throat for overstepping the line but instead she left the room leaving Natasha to fall to her knees in tears. She begged you to help her find the strength to be there for your daughter, to help her push through that heart ache whenever she laid eyes on her, to help her be the best mother she could. She needed you.
----
Natasha walked into the compound's kitchen with shaky hands as she looked at Clint. It had been another week since Wanda made Natasha realize she needed to gather the strength to be there for her daughter. "Where's Wanda?" she asked softly, Clint looked up from his newspaper almost a little too proudly to see his best friend asking for Wanda. "She took mini-Widow for their morning walk" he smiled softly. It was the only information Natasha needed as she made her way outside and saw Wanda pushing the stroller slowly.
"Soon enough you'll be able to run around here, you're growing so quickly little miss" Wanda coo'd as Natasha approached them slowly. Her heart wasn't racing, nor were her hands shaking anymore. With every step she took closer to the stroller and Wanda she felt at ease, a presence she could only hope was you.
"Wands" she spoke making Wanda turn to face her, "do you want to hold her?" she asked. Natasha nodded and watched as Wanda carefully scooped the mini widow from the stroller and handed her to Natasha. Tears instantly filled her eyes when she looked down at her daughter, "Hi my little angel" Natasha whispered before placing a kiss on her forehead. "I'll be inside if you need anything, okay?" Wanda rubbed Nat's back before walking away.
"You're so beautiful, you look just like your mommy" tears fell onto the tiny girl's tee as Natasha carefully started to walk around with her in her arms, rocking slightly. "Look how big you've gotten, my strong girl" she coo'd, "I'm so sorry mama needed a moment but I promise I'm never going to leave you again. I hear you've got a little nickname" she smiled softly.
Natasha returned to the building a little over an hour after walking around the compound's property with her daughter. Cries for food alerted Wanda as Natasha gently knocked on her door.
"Uh, I'm not sure what to feed her but I think she's hungry"
"I know that cry anytime" Wanda smiled softly, "I've got bottles of milk in the fridge, I'll show you" she added.
Wanda showed Natasha what to do with her bottles and how to make them, how warm to have them and a general run down on every detail of the still unnamed baby.
"Thank you, Wanda, I mean it. Being there for her and giving love when I couldn't, I needed that talk" Natasha looked up at Wanda while she fed her daughter for the first time since being back. "I know, you don't have to thank me. I'm her aunty Wanda, she loves me" Wanda scrunched her nose with a smile, "but you really need to name her because I don't think Y/n would love her getting used to mini widow" she added. Natasha chuckled lightly, careful not to disturb her feeding daughter.
"I was thinking. Y/n and I spoke about names a lot but never settled on anything and with everything, I think" she paused and took a moment to look at her little girl before looking back at Wanda, "Y/n Wanda Romanoff. After the two most important women in her life" she added with tears.
Wanda couldn't help but smile, "little Y/n, it's beautiful Nat. Now we just got to hope that little miss Y/n here doesn't get her mama's stubbornness" she joked. "I'm making no promises, at the end of the day, she is a Romanoff" Natasha playfully raised a brow.
"You never scared me Natasha, but Y/n did and she's part Y/n and part you plus she has the Avengers as her family, that's a lot scarier than you" Wanda chuckled. In that moment, Natasha knew that even though a piece of her heart died with you, nothing in the world mattered more than the little girl you brought into this world. With the love and support Natasha had surrounding her, she knew you left her in good hands and your voice would always run through her mind whenever she needed you.

You were currently in L.A. for the BET awards and you had been nominated in a few categories which you were surprised by seeing as you had mostly done features after the triplets were born.
You were simply laying down taking everything in when your phone went off alerting you to a text from your husband who was currently on his way to Paris. Once the award show was over, you would be on the next flight to meet up with him for fashion week. The triplets were currently at home with your parents and you honestly couldn't wait to get back home to them.
Smush- Good morning baby. So incredibly proud of you, but you already knew that. Kick ass today and show them why we call you the queen of the south. I love you till the end of time and even after that.
You- Good morning hubby. Thank you and I love you more. I miss you 😔
Smush- I miss you too and there's less than 24 hours until I get to hold you.
You- Don't make me cry 🥺
Smush- No need to cry and I have a surprise for you later 👀
You- 👀
Smush- You'll know when you see it
You had asked Blanca and Jessica to come with you along with Brandi and Julissa. You would have asked Curse to come along too but she was already in Paris with Urban so you would be able to see her tomorrow.
After checking in with your mom and making sure the triplets were good, you were interrupted by a knock on your door. Once you opened it, you were met with Brandi smiling at you and being bright eyed and bushy tailed while you were still trying to get yourself together.
"Morning boo." She said while pushing past you to come into your suite and lay on the couch.
"Morning." You quietly said while thinking about what you were going to order for breakfast or if you wanted to get everyone together to go out to eat.
"Today's the day. Are you excited?"
"As always, I just miss Jack and my babies." And as soon as you said that there was a facetime call coming through your phone from your mom and you quickly answered.
The first person you saw on the screen was Axel and you could hear your mom in the background.
"Ax! I told you to wait for me and not to push the button yet while I get your sisters!"
"But I wanna see mommy. Hi, mommy!"
"Good morning my baby! I miss you!"
"I miss you too."
"I'll be back in about another week or so."
Just then you saw your two girls sit next to Ax and got an even bigger smile on your face. One thing you always held in the back of your mind was how proud of yourself you were to be able to give birth to all three of them at one time.
"Mommy!" They both exclaimed as you saw your mom come up behind them.
"Are you three on your best behavior and not giving grandma a hard time?"
"She let us have cake for breakfast." Autumn said and your eyes went wide.
"MOM!"
"See, Autumn! I told you to keep quiet and that it was our secret!"
"Oops."
"Hold on, let me add daddy. Hopefully he's not too busy and answers." You said and Ivy looked at you confused.
"He never too busy for us, mama. He tells us that all the time." She said which made you smile and nod your head.
It didn't ring for long before he answered and the triplets just about screamed at the top of their lungs when they saw him.
"DADDY!"
"Are those my adorable babies and beautiful wife along with my second mother?"
"Yes!"
"You and mama gone too long." Axel said and started to pout while you could tell that it had made Jack upset but he tried not to let it show.
"And we'll be back before you know it." He quickly answered and Autumn nodded in approval while Axel sighed and Ivy became more interested in her shoelaces.
Even though this was the life you had chosen right alongside your husband, you had been reflecting on it a lot and you knew that you didn’t want to miss out on anything with them especially while they were still so young. You loved writing songs and making music, however, you loved your babies more and would always be thinking about them and putting them first. You hadn’t brought it back up to Jack yet, but you didn’t see yourself making music forever. Your feelings might change in the next few years, but right now that was where your head was at.
“And we’ll have an ice cream date and movie night in the backyard. As long as you three stay on your best behavior.” You said while eyeing them.
“Ohh, and it’s my turn to pick!”
“Nuh uh, you picked last time!”
“Did not! Ivy picked!”
“OKAY! Cut it out. And mom, no more cake for breakfast for them.”
“MOM, YOU GAVE THEM CAKE?” Jack exclaimed because he knew that they would be bouncing off the walls for the rest of the day. You knew that he was probably getting flashbacks from the one time they stole Urban’s slurpee from 711 and drank the entire thing in three minutes.
“A little cake never hurts! I gave it to Y/N sometimes and she turned out just fine.” Your mom answered before you rolled your eyes.
“Not the point, mom. Not the point.”
“Anyway, me and the babies have a full day ahead of us. Don’t worry about them. You two just do what you do best and I’ll make sure they stay in one piece. Babies say bye to mommy and daddy.” Your mom said and you could feel your eyes start to water. You already had bad separation anxiety from Jack, but now that you had three more people who were half of you and half of him, it was ten times worse.
“Bye mommy and daddy! We hope you win tonight. Grandma said we can’t watch the whole thing.” Axel said while trying to balance the phone in his hand.
“What does being too grown mean?” Ivy asked and you and Jack stifled a laugh.
“It means that you can watch it when you’re older. But if mommy wins, which we all know she will, Grandma will let you watch her acceptance speech.” Jack said and Ivy being satisfied with that answer nodded her head.
“Bye mommy and daddy. I love you. Now, onto more important things. Grandma, can I have more cake? With ice cream this time?” Autumn asked and you immediately shook your head.
“Autumn! No!” Both you and Jack said at the same time, but she looked at your mom for approval instead.
“How about we get lunch first at least?” She answered and you both shook your heads.
“We like staying with you grandma. You feed us the good stuff. Mommy and daddy make us eat veggies and fruit.” Ivy confessed and you immediately rolled your eyes.
“Don’t worry, the three of you will later.”
All three of them then got a pout on their face while you and Jack tried not to laugh.
“Bye, babies, we love you.” You and Jack said because you know they can’t stay still for long.
“Love you too!”
Your mom hung up leaving only the two of you and all Jack was doing was staring at you and smiling.
“What?” You asked somewhat, shying away from him.
“Nothing, my wife is just really pretty.”
“Oh my gosh, stop. I literally cannot wait to see you.” You said as Brandi now started to poke your side and mouthed that she was hungry.
“Me either!” You heard a voice in the background exclaim and knew that it was Urban.
“Love you too, Urby.”
“Please hurry up and get here. You know how your husband is. Oh, and good luck tonight but you don’t even need it. My best friend is the shit.”
“I just wish the two of you were here with me.”
“Less than 24 hours, mamas. But in the meantime, you got this. Send me a pic of your outfit later and you know I’ll be watching your performance.”
Just then you heard,”RIP ME OUT THE PLASTIC, I BEEN ACTIN’ BRAND NEW!” and Jack moved the phone so you could see Curse dancing with her headphones on not having a care in the world and immediately laughed.
“As you can see we all miss you.” Jack said as you then saw Urban go up behind her and started dancing with her.
“Miss yall too, and I promise to send you pictures.”
“Remember what I said earlier, show them why we call you the queen of the south. Your surprise is waiting for you there later and you have another one waiting for you when you get here.”
You had now finished getting ready and it was time for you to walk the red carpet. You hated doing them by yourself, so Jessica and Blanca volunteered to walk it with you and they would be sitting by you throughout the entire show.
“No reason to be nervous, you’ve done this a million times.” Brandi said while taking both of your hands in hers and motioning for you to take a deep breath.
“Yes, but this is my first one after they’ve been born and I just… I don’t know. My anxiety is getting to me again.”
“We’ll be with you the entire time.” Blanca said as you simply nodded your head seeing as both of them would be a part of your performance when you did Put It On The Floor.
“Jack just sent me a text and told me that the bad chips and hot decisions crew needs to be on their best behavior tonight and that we need to get you to see him in Paris after we’re done in one piece.” Jessica said and you immediately rolled your eyes.
“He would say something like that.”
“I can’t with that man.” Brandi said and the four of you laughed. Julissa came over to make sure not a hair was out of place before you began to walk down the carpet.
You ended up taking a few pictures by yourself, but sent the ones that you took in the hotel to Jack and he immediately responded.
Smush- How many babies do you want me to put in you when I see you tomorrow? Lol but on a serious note, you look so beautiful, baby. So proud to call you my wife.
You- Julissa is going to kill you for making me cry and messing up my make-up
Smush- Just calling it like I see it. Go out there and do what you do best (besides giving me head and making me get bricked up with the slightest touch). I’ll be watching.
You- I literally CANNOT WITH YOU. I’ll call you as soon as I’m on the plane.
Smush-I love you
You- And I love you more
Smush- Don’t start because no you don’t
You- This shall continue when I touch down in Paris
As you were backstage getting ready for your performance, Jessica held one hand as Blanca held the other as you were trying to steady your breathing.
“Come on queen of the south, let’s get it. But most importantly remember to have fun.” Julissa said while winking at you and fixing a few stray curls. You simply nodded at her while smiling and fixing your wedding ring.
You as well as your dancers got in position and you were simply waiting for your cue.
You heard DJ Von’s voice and it was showtime.
“I’d like to welcome yall to the Big Latto show, who we also know as Y/N, the first lady of private garden. She’s about to show yall why we call her the queen of the south.  I need a clean up on aisle 7.”
When your performance was over, you headed back to your seat and was fumbling with your shoe trying to snap it back when you heard the category that you were nominated in being announced.
“And the nominees for the best female hip-hop artists are Cardi B, Glorilla, Latto, Ice Spice, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, and Coi Leray. And the winner is….. BIG LATTO! THE QUEEN OF THE SOUTH!”
Your mouth was hanging wide open as you heard your name and turned to both Blanca and Jessica making sure you heard it right. Your shoe still wasn’t all the way on, so you made your way to the stage carrying it in one hand.
“Oh lord, I got one shoe on and one shoe off. Don’t mind me though. Anyway, this cannot… this cannot be real. Okay, I’m not going to cry this year, no crying.”
After you had finished your acceptance speech, they told you that they had a surprise for you and to turn around.
Once you did, you saw Jack’s face pop up on the screen and of course your eyes started to water.
“What did I tell you, baby? I knew that you were going to win. So this is part one of your surprise while the other part is awaiting you in Paris. Just wanted to tell you how very proud I am of you and that you deserve every opportunity that has come your way in the last few years. You’re simply the best at what you do and it shows. You put your all into everything you touch and you have a sweet and calming spirit that goes right along with it.  Not only are you an amazing performer, but now we can also add best female hip-hop artist to that list. My baby girl is the absolute shit. With all that being said, I love you and can’t wait until you get here.”
You had been dabbing at your face trying not to mess up your make-up when you saw that Urban came up behind Jack and had a plastic bag on his head and you know that it could only mean one thing. Put It On The Floor began playing in the background as Curse came up behind Urban and ripped the bag off as all three of them continued to rap along to the song.
“WE LOVE YOU!” All three of them said and you heard erupts of applause and laughter from the audience.
“Damn yall, my man fine as shit and he loves me. When I see him in Paris, we just might have to make baby number four.” You said while wiping your tears and you could hear the laughter get louder.
“Thank yall, BET. And it’s only up from here. Private Garden is here to stay.”
Once the show was over, you immediately went back to your hotel in order to pack and quickly get on your flight to meet Jack in Paris.
You were leaving by 10 in order to be there by 9 in the morning and knew that you would be asleep for the majority of it. You double checked to make sure you had everything before meeting Brandi downstairs since her and Julissa would be going with you.
They were in on your second surprise and Jack told them to keep you occupied while he set everything up for you. Once you were comfortably settled on the plane you sent him a text.
You- On my way to come and see you and I absolutely loved my surprise 🥰
Smush- Can't wait until you get here and I figured you would. Part 2 is coming.  I know I keep saying it, but I am just so proud of you. My wife is simply the best at what she does.
You- And I'm proud of you, and us and the life that we created for them.
Smush- Thank you for giving us another chance
You- You know I wouldn't have it any other way

Curled up on your couch absently watching the food channel, your arms were wrapped around your abdomen as you groaned in misery. Your whole body ached, especially your lower back, and you'd been feeling nauseous since early this morning when you'd woken up. You'd had a headache for the past five hours that just wouldn't go away no matter how much water you drank or ibuprofen you took.
You were on day two of your period–also known as Hell Day. Since it was Friday and you'd felt like death, having woken up long before your alarm had gone off and been unable to fall back asleep because your cramps were just that painful, you'd called off work. Last night had been one of those rare nights that Matt hadn't stopped by as Daredevil because he'd stayed home working on a case, so you'd thankfully not had to wake up to him witnessing how miserable you were.
While you'd avoided Matt over that first period week you'd gotten months ago, right after the two of you had gotten together, you hadn't continued that trend for most of the periods that followed after. Though admittedly you had often managed to find a way to avoid him one way or another on Period Hell Day for months now, so he'd yet to encounter you on the absolute worst day of your period. Which you'd been grateful for, because generally you were more of an emotional mess than usual, and that's exactly how you'd felt today, as if you were one random, small thing away from crying. Again .
A knock at your apartment door drew your eye towards it, a deep frown settling onto your face. There could only be one person who would be here knocking on your door at almost seven on a Friday night. You closed your eyes, rolling over and burying your face in the pillow you'd been lying on. Another groan left you yet again.
"I don’t feel good tonight, Matt," you grumbled into the pillow. “Leave me to my misery.”
"You and I both know that I'm not going to do that," Matt's distinctive voice came from the other side of the door. “Let me in, sweetheart.”
“I don’t want you to see me like this,” you protested, face still buried in the pillow.
“Then it’s a good thing I’m blind,” he quipped back, amusement clear in his tone.
“ Matt ,” you whined.
You heard the clear rumble of his chuckle outside of your door, the sound of it drawing your face from its hiding place. It had been yesterday afternoon since you last saw him for lunch and you certainly had missed him–despite how pathetic it was to admit because it had barely been over twenty-four hours.
"I brought mint ice cream?" Matt called hopefully through the door. “And it’s uh, probably going to melt on me if you leave me out here.”
“Why didn’t you lead with that?” you called back.
You pushed yourself upright on the couch with a grimace, your cramps somehow feeling worse now that you weren’t curled in the fetal position.
“Because I sort of thought my girlfriend would be happy for some company and comfort tonight?” he responded. "Didn't expect that I'd need to bribe her to answer the door."
Eyes narrowing, you rose to your feet, shuffling your way to your apartment door. Your right hand was pressed to your bloated abdomen like it was going to keep your insides from somehow falling out of you while you walked. Quickly unlocking your door with your left hand, you swung it open to reveal Matt’s handsome and smiling face. He held up the container of mint ice cream he had in fact brought over in one of his hands.
“What the hell does that mean?” you asked him suspiciously, eyes still narrowed as you ignored the ice cream. “Why would you think I want company and comfort tonight?”
Matt’s smile immediately fell, his dark brows drawing together, a crease forming between them. His head slowly shifted to the side as he pursed his lips. There was a long moment that he stood in your doorway looking confused as he remained silent.
“Because you’re…on your period?” he eventually answered carefully. “And I know you usually don’t feel well?”
“How do you know I’m on my period?” you questioned him.
Matt’s head tilted further to the side, his dark brows almost entirely disappearing behind the red lenses of his glasses now. “This…this feels like a trick question,” he said slowly. “I’m pretty sure I’m not supposed to answer that.”
You shook your head quickly, hugging both arms over your stomach as if that would somehow block Matt’s heightened senses from picking up on anything from your body. “No, ew, definitely don’t answer that ,” you agreed. “I meant I haven’t seen you today, how would you know?”
“I saw you yesterday, sweetheart,” he pointed out.
“But I hadn’t told you I was on it because I just had–” you stopped, eyes going wide when Matt’s expression turned sheepish. “Oh my God , you could still tell ?” When he opened his mouth you immediately shook your head again, throwing a hand up from your stomach to stop him. “No, please do not actually answer that.”
“It’s not a big deal, sweetheart,” he said gently.
“Says you !” you shot back.
“So you’re just going to leave me to let this mint ice cream melt all over my hands in your hall then?” he asked.
“Obviously not,” you said, stepping aside.
Matt took a slow, careful step into your apartment, almost as if he was wary that you really didn’t want him here. Your shoulders sagged at the sight, shutting the door after him.
“Sorry, I’m a hormonal mess,” you apologized. “I feel horrible and I wasn’t expecting you to stop by tonight and now I’m just overthinking your senses. Again .”
You accepted the ice cream from Matt, turning and bringing it to the kitchen to keep in your freezer for now. Behind you, you heard Matt slipping out of his shoes.
“You know you really don’t need to do that,” he told you. “Overthinking my senses about things.”
“Sort of hard not to do,” you mumbled. “Overthinking is sort of my thing.”
You made your way back towards the living room where Matt was pulling his dark glasses from his face. His eyes were tracking your movement as he leaned over to set the glasses onto your coffee table, the smile growing on his lips as you made your way towards him.
“If you’re ever actually going to move in with me,” he said, “you’re kind of going to have your period around me, sweetheart. And you know it doesn’t bother me. I’ve told you that a hundred times now.”
Sighing dramatically, you once again hugged your arms across your bloated stomach as you came to a stop in front of him. “Try getting my overthinking mind to believe you,” you replied.
He chuckled lightly, his hands reaching out and landing on your shoulders. He gave them an affectionate squeeze that drew a small smile onto your face.
“I have been trying that for awhile now,” he pointed out. “Clearly it’s not an easy feat to accomplish.”
“Yeah,” you agreed, “because all I can think about are the gross things you’re picking up on when I’m like this. And I’m…” you trailed off, lips clamping together before you could admit what was on your mind.
Matt’s face shifted to something serious instantly, clearly sensing your hesitation. His eyes were scanning around your face curiously. “You’re what?” he prompted.
Chewing your lip, you gazed down at your coffee table. Could you really verbalize something so gross and ridiculous to Matt? The last thing you felt like doing right now was discussing your period with the man you wanted to still find you attractive when you weren’t bleeding in a few more days.
“Hey,” he said, his tone softer as he gripped your shoulders a little tighter, “you can tell me anything. What’s bothering you?”
“It’s just…if I move in with you, you’re right,” you admitted quietly. “I’ll be having my period around you. Like all the time.”
“Yes,” Matt agreed. “I am aware that it's a monthly occurrence. And I don’t have a problem with that.”
“But like…” you continued, your eyes locked on your coffee table because you could not look at him, “that means I’ll, you know, be…disposing of period-related things. At your place. All the time."
Matt let out an amused snort that quickly drew your eyes to his face. He bit his bottom lip, shaking his head quickly.
“Sorry, sorry, I really don’t mean to laugh,” he said immediately. “I’m not–not trying to make light of your feelings, but sweetheart, it’s just blood. I bring enough blood home on a near nightly basis. I don’t care. It doesn't bother me. And for the record, it would be our place."
“But you have the nose of a bloodhound–”
“Better, actually,” he cut in.
“Matt!” you shrieked, to which he only chuckled again. “That’s not helping!”
"You're right, I'm sorry," he said, the grin still on his face. "Just trying to lighten the mood."
You shifted awkwardly on your feet before him, other anxious thoughts about living with Matt crossing your mind. As if sensing that, his hands slid down your shoulders, making their way down your arms until they wrapped around your own hands.
"Hey, let's sit," he suggested gently.
Matt led you back towards your couch, the pair of you settling down onto the cushions beside each other. He kept his hold on your hands, that serious expression back on his face as he gazed at you.
"What's on your mind, sweetheart?" he asked. "Tell me."
"I just–just worry about all the things you're going to pick up on if I move in with you," you confessed. "Things I'm not aware of because of your heightened senses."
Matt murmured your name, the sound drawing your eyes up to his face. Nervously you chewed your lip, Matt's thumbs rubbing lightly over the backs of your hands.
"You've spent so much time with me already, sweetheart," he pointed out. "Staying the night at my place or me staying here. And I'm still here not grossed out by you." One corner of his lips curled upwards as he added, "And I lived with Fog during college for years . Share an office with him almost every day of the week now. You're not going to gross me out or whatever you're afraid of."
"Well Foggy isn't hoping you're still attracted to him at the end of the day," you blurted.
Matt's mouth twisted into a bigger grin in response. "Well that would mean I'd have to be attracted to Fog at the beginning of the day," he teased.
You sighed deeply, not wanting his jokes right now. Quickly picking up on that, Matt sent you an apologetic smile.
"I'm serious, Matt," you admitted awkwardly. "If we live together, you'll be around me all the time. Every bad day I have and every morning of my gross morning breath. And every period where I'm super gross, like right now. And every time–"
"Hey," Matt cut you off firmly, squeezing your hands. "I want every moment with you, sweetheart. All of it. The good and the bad. I want you with me. And you are not super gross right now," he stated sharply. "You never are. Nothing is going to make me love you or want you any less."
You couldn't help the sting of tears that pricked at your eyes or the way your lips had begun to tremble as Matt's words hit you hard. His brows drew together on his forehead as he noticed your body’s reaction.
"Sweetheart?" he asked, his eyes softening as they focused near your own. "Why're you crying?"
Tears had already quickly begun falling down your cheeks in hot, wet steaks. You sniffled loudly, fighting to keep your voice as even as you could when you spoke.
"Because I'm hormonal as fuck, Matt," you sobbed. "And you're so fucking charming and sweet. And I love you." You slipped a hand out of his hold as you gestured behind you towards your kitchen. "And you brought me my favorite ice cream on my worst damn day of the month!"
His brows knitted further together, the crease between them deepening on his face. The corner of his mouth twitched downwards. "Those are all–all good things though," he pointed out carefully.
"I know!" you agreed, your voice cracking.
His head tilted to the side as he studied you for a moment. "So you're…happy?" he clarified.
"Yes!" you exclaimed. "I'm incredibly hormonal and you're being really great and it's making me cry! But I also cried watching House Hunters earlier, too."
He laughed lightly, pulling you into his chest and wrapping his arms around you. One of his large hands began soothingly running up and down your back as you buried your face into his dress shirt. You quickly soaked the material with your tears as your arms wrapped around him in return, balling the material in your fists. That familiar scent of him surrounded you and you buried your nose further into his shirt. A moment later you felt him pressing a kiss into your hair.
"I love you, Matty," you said into his chest.
"I love you, too, sweetheart,” he murmured. “How about I get changed and I come cuddle you on the couch?" he offered. "I can give you a back massage if you lay on me. I can hear how sore your back is."
"You've had a long week yourself," you replied, sniffling again. "Both in and out of the office. I'm not going to ask you to do that."
"Well you're not," he pointed out. "I'm offering. Here, let me up."
Reluctantly you released your hold of him, Matt rising up from the couch. He shot you a smile, murmuring he'd be right back back before you watched him disappear down your hall to your bedroom.
With a sigh you settled back onto your couch, your eyes focusing back on the food channel. It was a few minutes before Matt returned no longer in his work attire. Instead he padded down your hallway barefoot in a pair of gray sweatpants with a tee-shirt in one hand.
"Shirt or no shirt?" he asked, stopping before you on the other side of the coffee table.
Your lips parted in surprise as your eyes raked over his bare torso, every defined inch of him on clear display in your living room. Matt grinned devilishly at you, tossing his shirt onto the coffee table before he made his way back to you.
"That answered my question," he said, amused.
He sat down on the couch, drawing his feet up as he maneuvered behind you. And then he opened his arms to you, waving you over with a smile.
"Come here, sweetie," he whispered. "Let me help you feel better."
You gradually climbed up on top of him, nestling your head just below his chin as your legs rested between his on your couch. While your right hand slid up to grasp his shoulder, your left hand landed along his chest beside your face, fingers absently running along his bare, warm skin that felt amazing against your bloated abdomen. Matt’s own hands settled onto your lower back, his palms beginning to press in the exact right spot against your aching muscles. It was only a matter of seconds before your eyes were closing and you were sighing in relief and contentment.
“You’re really, really good at that,” you whispered, relaxing into him beneath you.
“Sort of easy when I can hear your body that well,” he replied gently.
“And that made it weird,” you pointed out.
Beneath you, Matt let out a rumbling laugh that had you bouncing along him with the movement, which in turn had you giggling. Burying your face into his chest as you laughed, you felt his hands pause their movement to hold you tight to him, his nose nuzzling into your hair as his warm chuckle filled your ears. When both your laughter subsided, Matt placed a kiss into your hair before his hands resumed their movement on your back. You gradually eased back into him beneath you, your eyelids dropping.
“You know,” Matt began, his tone catching your attention instantly, “I hear orgasms help relieve cramps.”
Your eyes instantly grew wide, your jaw dropping in response to what he’d just suggested. There was a rumble of laughter beneath you again as you raised your head from his chest, staring down at him in shock.
“Matthew!” you shrieked.
His eyes crinkled at the corners, his smile growing wider. “Oh that one warranted my full name, did it?” he teased.
Heat crept its way up your cheeks as you buried your face back into his chest. “Oh my God ,” you groaned, voice muffled.
“I’m just letting you know that I am more than happy to help,” he told you, amusement in his voice. “Just so you know for the future.”
“I am officially embarrassed and uncomfortable,” you mumbled, still hiding your heated face against him.
“I strongly believe that one day you’ll take me up on that,” he mused, his hands still working the muscles of your aching lower back.
“Doubt it,” you disagreed.
He chuckled yet again, his hands managing to relax you back down from the topic of conversation. Slowly you shifted until your cheek was once again resting along his chest.
“Mmm,” Matt hummed out. “Guess we’ll see who’s right eventually.”

Okay, yall asked for it, so here's the Showtime fic!
Some aspects are inspired by a different fic by @sm-baby (also just tagging because you said you want more stuff like this, so ur welcome)
I might split this into parts tho but it depends on if I have the energy to finish it all right now or not
Without further ado, here it is:
☆Settings for two☆
It's been about a month since Pomni arrived in the digital circus. And it's safe to say she hasn't been doing any better than she was the first day... The others have sometimes found her staring off into space, scribbles replacing her eyes. But the one thing that made her cope was plotting and searching for an exit. Witch didn't seem likely... until one day she found what she thought might be the answer she was looking for...
It was early in the morning. She was wandering around the circus grounds aimlessly since she couldn't sleep. When she saw what appeared to be another random door. Presumably leading to some wacky room like all the others. But still she decided to take a closer look. Upon walking closer, she was able to read the heading of the sign on the door:
*Settings room*
She thought to herself:
"This must be it! I have been looking in all the wrong places! Surely, this will have some sort of way to exit!"
She went inside and was greeted by a wall of interactive screens

She thought for a moment... then she thought of the perfect plan!

"Ok, if I'm right, then if I set the amount lower, I should be kicked out!"

One click, and that was it. Now all she had to do was wait...
She quietly sneaked out of the room. She had nothing else to do. Well- at least until Caine woke up everyone else for today's adventure. Boy, was she not looking forward to it...
With nothing else on her mind but the chance of leaving, she continued to pace around the circus halls. So much so that she had lost track of time... Pomni had been walking around for who knows how long, when she was caught off guard by a familiar, cheery, obnoxious voice:
"GOOOOOOOOOD MORNING, POMNI!"
"Gah! Caine!?"
Of course, she thought. The best person to be around when she was disoriented...
"THAT'S ME ALRIGHT! Say, what're you doing up so early? The others usually aren't out of their rooms until the lights come on..."
"I- uhhh couldn't sleep. It's been hard to do so since I've been here..."
"Is that so? Why haven't you been able to, my dear?"
It was odd to her that he would even consider asking. She still hardly trusts him. She hesitantly answered:
"Well... I'm not exactly sure if there's one answer to that. This place can be so bright and loud sometimes. It's so- overwhelming on top of the fact that we are all stuck here..."
"I see... Well, enough waiting around for me! I'm going to go wake up the others! I'll meet you at center stage! See ya later, Pomni!"
"I- okay-"
She was still a bit shocked by the encounter they had. Hopefully, she won't have to deal with this place any longer.
Until then, may as well mentally prepare for the next adventure...
Ok, well, I guess this concludes part 1! Stay tuned for the next!
(Gee, this was alot-)

Come On Darling
Tumblr media
Part one has gotten a lot of attention and all the comments were really motivating so have a part two. Idk how good it is, i wrote this in the same general time it took me to write part one so hopefully it's decent.
Part One
"Hello, welcome to Roselight! How may I help you today?" The girl working there didn't even stutter when she saw Noah. She must be used to it in such an expensive shop like this one.
"I need a new tailored suit, she needs a full closet." You could almost see the dollar signs adding up behind her eyes.
"Of course! I'll have the tailors get prepared. As for her what are you thinking about for full closet? Different styles? All dressy? Casual? Sexy?" She didn't even look at you, just paying attention. While she and Noah were talking, you looked around the store. Eyes stopping on one of the other employees smiled at you. She was dressed down a little more than all the others, still in all designer. She seemed more normal then high class like everyone else working.
"Well, then are you ready to start shopping?" She was looking at you expectantly.
"No." Noah's arm you were told to hold onto tightened. His hand resting on yours. Not a threat a warning. "I was hoping I could work with her." You motioned to the employee you had seen earlier. Noah's arm relaxed.
"Unfortunately, she's not a shopper. She just helps stock and bag items."
"She'll be a shopper today then." Noah ordered. She finally started getting nervous.
"A manager has to sign off on i-"
"Then get a manager." Noah interrupted. "She wants to work with her, and we don't want to stand her arguing." A hurried, "I'll get one" was thrown over her shoulder as she retreated to the back. Remerging a minute later, a sharply dressed man following her.
"Hello, I'm Marcus, one of the managers. What can I do for you today?"
"She needs a new wardrobe and would like her to help." Noah motioned to the girl. Marcus glanced over at the girl, who looked like she was starting to get a little nervous with the attention she was getting for a reason she wasn't aware of. Marcus glanced at you next, understanding flashed through his eyes.
"Ah, of course. I'll go inform her of your request and as long as she agrees to it, I'll sign off on it."
"No i-"
"That would be great!" You interrupted Noah. You didn't want to pressure her into having to deal with Noah. Marcus came back a few minutes later, the girl following behind him.
"This is Jackie, she's agreed to help you and I've signed off her helping." His gaze was directed at directly at you. "All commissions will go to her for this sale." Noah's posture changed, considering Jackie's shift, it wasn't good.
"Thank you, that was my next question." Once again Noah relaxed. He had to be overly stressed because that could not be normal.
"I'll leave Jackie with you, let me know if there's anything I can help with." Marcus excused himself. Noah gave the same instructions he gave Caroline and Jackie wrote a few things down in a small notebook.
"Ok, whole new closet?" Jackie looked at you. "You've told me. I'm asking Y/n now." Jackie interrupted Noah when he tried to tell her again. She turned back to you. You nodded. "All styles?" Another nod. "No budget?"
"Budget." Noah immediately started protesting. Jackie waited until they stopped.
"Alright, we can easily get everything you need and any extra you want with 1 Million. So we'll set that as a tentative budget. Budget for you, tentative for the no budget peanut gallery." You were soon whisked away to a small room to get measured. With that out of the way, you were lead to a room full of overpriced clothes and accessories.
Anything you looked at twice or seemed interested in was added to a growing pile of try ons. Once you had ten full outfits, try ons started. Jackie was exactly what you wanted. If it looked good, she made sure you knew it. If it didn't look good, she figured out why. Certain styles were completely removed from the cart, some colors were pulled out too. She didn't try to get you to like the most expensive styles, or the big trends, her focus was solely on what you liked and what looked good on you. Something you were very grateful for.
Four hours of shopping later, and you were lead out to the main room where you had come in. Noah joined you and paid for the large amount of clothing you had liked enough to leave with.
Next you were taken to a shoe store. This time you had a name Jackie had given you. Another sign off and bags left with Noah, you got to work looking for shoes.
An hour and a half and 6 pair of shoes later, you were taken to a makeup store. Another name and sign off, more bags left with Noah and the process started all over again.
Three hours later, Noah paid and you left the outlet and went back to the hotel. Food was dropped off at the room and Noah inhaled his before changing and running out the door for a meeting away from the hotel. A quick "Here's my card, Don't leave the hotel or there will be problems." was thrown over his shoulder before the door was closed.
You started putting your things away, quickly realizing there wasn't enough room for all your new things and Noah's in the small closet in the room. So you made a call to the front desk and a half hour later a clothing rack with a few shelves at the bottom was delivered to your room. Setting it up was easy.
The hard part was deciding if you wanted to risk being petty and moving his things or just putting yours there.
Petty won.
If he was going to force you to get an entire new closet of clothes, you were going to put them in a closet. While moving his suits you snorted to yourself. If circumstances had been different, this shopping spree would have been a dream come true, but now, it just felt like something you would have to worry about repaying later.
Once all of his clothes hanging up were moved, you put his shoes on the bottom shelf. Once you were finished moving his things and adding yours, you moved onto the dresser. Moving his things into two of the six drawers and filled the other four with yours. Next step was rearranging the bathroom to add in the large amount of random makeup things you had gotten.
With nothing else to do, you looked through the list of things the hotel offered and decided to go get a massage. The shopping spree and large total numbers had apparently tired you enough that you didn't really care if Noah was upset.
-----
Noah came back from the meeting to a dark and empty hotel room. Nicolas thankfully kept his head and told Noah to call the front desk to see if they had seen her. That phone call lead him to the spa where he was let into a small room where you were laying face down on a table while a woman worked on the knots in your back.
"He needs to go next. He seems way to tense to be healthy." Noah just stared at you in exasperation, questioning why the hell he was putting himself through all of this for Alec

Could you do one about matt, where the reader has migraines and matt does everything he can to help her, lots of physical touch, words of affirmation etc
Ilysm and your writing ur amazing<3
as someone who’s had migraines and headaches every single day for 4 years I loved writing this. i hope you’re doing well feel free to message me if you ever need to talk, i know how difficult this can be. sending my love to you
꩜ migraine ꩜
Tumblr media
Waking up in excruciating pain has become my new normal. From the moment my eyes open I’m greeted by the familiar feeling of a migraine. The dull pressure around my head makes it feel like it’ll burst at any given moment.
Rubbing my eyes, I sharply inhale as a sharp jolt enters my temple and eye making it feel as if a nail has been driven into my head. Pulling the blanket over my head I groan. This isn’t how I expected today to go. You and I were supposed to spend the day in the city. Aimlessly reaching for my phone I turn Siri on and instruct her to send you a text.
“Hey Siri, send Matt a text” I grumble.
“What do you want to say?” Siri's voice irritates me more.
“Hi love, would we be able to do today’s plans another day? I woke up with a migraine again. I'm not doing well, it's taking a toll on me and I don’t wanna be a drag on our date. I’m really sorry I feel so bad. I know how busy you’ve been and how excited you were for this and I’ve ruined that. I'm sorry. If you aren’t busy maybe we can call later? I miss you and I love you” I tiredly mumbled to Siri to type out for me.
Putting my phone fast down on my nightstand, I bury my face into my pillow and pull the blankets up to my chin and try to sleep the pain away. I only slept for probably an hour until I breathed in a familiar scent. I slowly open my eyes to see you laying beside me. I waste no time burying my face into your chest and wrapping my arms around you.
“I'm so glad you're here” I mutter.
“I figured you'd either need or want some help since you aren't feeling good and I missed you” you whisper, making sure not to worsen my headache. “Do you need anything? Is there anything I can do to make you more comfortable?”
“I need my heated eye mask and my meds please, you know where they are right?” I ask.
“I'll go get them, I'll be quick” you softly say as you plant a kiss on my forehead.
Staying true to your words you’re back in a few minutes with my nice and hot eye mask and some meds to hopefully ease the pain.
Putting the warm mask over my eyes I get comfy, resting my head on your chest as one arm wraps around my waist and the other massaging my scalp, easing the building tension in my head.
“I’m so proud of you, you know that? It’s difficult being in pain let alone constantly and this badly but here you are still fighting. I know it’s draining and takes a mental toll on you but you’re doing so good. I wish I could take your pain for you. You amaze me with your strength” you praise me.
“Thank you for coming over. I’m sorry for ruining our plans not just today but every other time I end up having to cancel. I feel bad about it. I don’t want you to think that I don’t wanna spend time with you because that’s really all I want is to be with you” I whisper.
“Anytime sweet girl I’ll always be here for you no matter what. Don’t apologize, remember we don’t worry about things that are outside of our control. You can’t control when you get a migraine so don’t feel bad for canceling. Plus when you have a migraine it means that I get to come over and take care of you which I love. You could never ruin anything, simply being with you is enough for me. I love you sweet girl, now get some rest I’m here” you tell me, soothingly massaging my scalp.
Your gentle voice, the head massage, the eye mask, and the meds is the perfect concoction to make me doze off into a much needed sleep in the arms of my favorite person. Migraines aren’t so bad when I have you by my side.

I was listening to some asmrs and was like- hrm hrm I have an idea.
Tw: slightly implied both online and reality stalking, implied breaking in, obsessive turtaleles as per usual
Alright so imagine you listen to an asmrist (aka turtle of your choosing) and for the sake of plot let's say it's like an x listener type shit (now it can be platonic or romantic just something to interact to a user)
You listen to a few of their videos before slowly listening to all of their posts, including each and every new one. You like the sound of their voice, it's excellent for when you're sad or need help to sleep- just comforting company one might say.
You praise them with every new video, commenting on how you liked the story or the voice acting. And soon enough, they start to like all your comments and even occasional reply.
"Aww thanks! I'm glad you enjoy my videos! *insert an ungodly amount of heart emojis*"
"Ik I'm fabulous~ In all seriousness tho I'm happy you like my voice acting~"
"Why thank you. I'm delighted you are seemingly relishing my voice /srs/gen/pos."
"OMG IM LITERALLY SO HAPPY RN- I COULD SHOOT YOU WITH MY APPRECIATION GUN- I'm joking of course!"
But then you notice something odd.
Their content seems to lean towards things you tend to enjoy rather than a scatter of different ideas. And you swear you heard your name a couple of times. They seem to talk a bit more with a... loving tone like they've known the person for years. Close as one would simply state.
And finally one day, there's a new video uploaded. You of course watch it. Except for this time, there's no image as the background nor any sound effects. You then hear them speak, they speak so obsessively, so closely, it's like you can hear them smiling.
And at the end, as an outro they say:
(Romantic version)
A gift for my lovely significant other, Y/n. I hope you enjoyed it, especially you.
(Platonic version)
For my dearest friend, Y/n. I hope you find comfort in this audio~
You're creeped out, hoping that maybe they were speaking of another person who has the same name as you. But even then, it made you uneasy.
A few days later, you listen to another video by them, this one a bit more toned down than the last one you watched. It's nice, and you feel yourself being able to sleep by it.
And right as you're about to fall asleep, you feel someone climb into your bed from the other side, and hands caressing your head.
You hear a voice, one all too familiar:
(Romantic)
Darling~ Did you like it? Was the story good? I made sure to keep it within your interests. I hope you loved the sound of my voice...the voice that would talk sweet nothings to you to help you sleep. Sweet dreams, my love.
(Platonic)
Hey~ did you like it? I hope it made you feel better, I know your day today was tough. And I wanted to comfort you, but with a bit more love in it! Anything for my dearest best friend... Now sleep, you need your rest. I'll keep mumbling until you do.
You can't pull yourself to move, too fearful to do so. So you lay there, listening to them mumble about their affections as they pet your head. You can't deny it, it's still the same smooth voice you listened to every day, but this time- it brings the ultimate terror into your heart.
Since when did yandere asmrists become yanderes?
(I hope this makes up a fraction of the lack of content this week! And hopefully, I might get a little something out sometime this week because there's a big blizzard coming = snow day(s) and it's easter break)

Break (Bernard the Elf x Reader)
Tumblr media
Request: Ok I've been brainstorming an idea for Bernard and ok here's what I got ok Reader is Santa's introverted kid and them and Bernard are in an established relationship and he's like the reader's emotional support so they follow him everywhere like an introvert dragged to a party but they would totally back off if he told them to
A/N: @fo-babes I believe this was your request ;) just in time for the holiday season and some new Bernard content next week. Part 1 of your birthday one shots. No matter how retired I am on this blog, I'll always room to post for you. This blog brought us together and I don't know what I'd do without you in my life, you've kept me sane this year when nothing else would. Here's to another 19 years of life for you, hopefully that I'll be able to tag along for! I wouldn't rather be anywhere else. Also, yes you did make me that gif I used of Bernard. Thanks!
“Make sure the painting gets done before Santa gets back or he’s going to freak out. Nice work though!”
Bernard stood up straight from where he’d been bent over, assessing one of the many jobs that needed to be done in the workshop. Christmas was still, thankfully, a ways off. Just over 100 days to be exact, they had time to perfect every little thing before it came. He was in good spirits today. There was a lot of time to get things ready and Santa was out, visiting the Millers, leaving him to run the workshop on his own.
He loved having Santa around, but sometimes it was nice to have him gone so he could keep all the elves on task.
Another reason for his good mood was the lack of Curtis, the keeper of the handbook. Normally he was attached at Bernard’s hip, talking his ear off and giving him a splintering headache. Today, however, it seemed he decided his talents would be better used elsewhere. Bernard was grateful for that, he began to continue on his way.
In Curtis’ place, was you. Santa’s eldest child, you’d made the move to the Pole with him when he came to stay here full time. Your relationship with the Millers from what he understood was rocky, you rarely left the Pole with your dad to visit. The only way you would come was if Charlie, your little brother, specifically requested your presence.
He wished he understood why. Laura and Neil had been a little too much when he’d encountered them, but they were generally harmless. In his opinion, at least. Santa enjoyed spending time with the family so that had to account for something.
He wouldn’t pressure you to tell him, though. Some things were just better left unsaid.
When Santa was gone, you always hung around him, even if you hated being around the workshop. The alternatives were hanging out with the other elves or sitting at home with Carol, who you were still getting used to and neither were super appealing to you.
Bernard had noticed when you first arrived here that people (or elves) were not your thing. In the beginning, being around anyone but Santa and Charlie would immediately cause you to shut down. He had been determined to win over both the Calvin kids, and his persistence was eventually rewarded tenfold. The two of you ended up becoming close friends, then later a couple. Everyone was really surprised you warmed up to him, none moreso than your father.
He felt extremely blessed to be in the fortunate few who got to see the real you.
You huffed behind him as he walked to the next table. The long hours in the workshop were starting to get to you, he knew. But there was no way you were going to leave, unless he told you to and he wasn’t about to force you out of the comfort that being near him brought.
He did feel a little guilty though, this was probably very exhausting to endure and he wasn’t about to be finished any time soon.
He smiled apologetically back at you as he bent down to oversee the teddy bear fluffing.
While he offered his advice, your gaze wandered around you to the bustling around you to get work done. The amount of elves here made your head spin, back in the regular world being in a place like this would be something you avoided, of course, you had to date a guy… an elf… who worked in one of the busiest places in the world.
“... we can go somewhere quieter.”
You came back to your senses when you realized Bernard was talking to you, his hand gently went up to rest on your forehead. You leaned into the touch, bringing yourself back to reality as his concerned eyes searched your face.
“I’m fine, you have work to do. You can’t leave the workshop,” you swallowed the lump in your throat. Soon dad would be back and then you could spend more time with Carol without feeling awkward. You could make it until then, but Bernard didn’t seem convinced.
He set what he’d picked up from the work table in his other hand back down, patted the elf seated there on the back and turned back to you. Taking your hand, he pulled you along with him to the front doors of the workshop.
“Bernard, what are you doing- you have work and dad-”
Stepping out into the cool air where there were less loud noises and bustling immediately calmed you inside. You still felt tired from the long exposure but at least your senses weren’t being constantly inundated with new stimuli.
He pointed to the edge of the little North Pole village. “Do you remember when we grabbed cocoa and snuck out here while Santa was busy being distracted by a mess Curtis made? And you still wouldn’t talk to me so I did most of the talking?”
You did remember that day. Back in those days, Bernard often looked for moments to steal away with you. He had been so determined to spend time with you, it didn’t seem to bother him in the slightest that you weren’t too keen on making friends. It had been a huge shock for you, so used to the people back in Lakeside. Back there, if you weren’t super extroverted and talkative you just kind of fell to the wayside.
You had never told him but you’d been super bummed that day, it was one of those rare days where you wondered if moving to the North Pole was a good idea. You missed your brother and weirdly, your mother and Neil. It had been a shock to find yourself missing them, considering you’d always been closer to your dad. During the divorce, you’d taken his side which had stung your mother. The relationship ever since had been rocky, but you knew she still wanted the best for you.
Sneaking out for cocoa with someone had been exactly what you had needed that day.
“Yeah. And dad found us hours later. He dragged you back to work, I’ve never seen him so annoyed with you,” you laughed as the two of you began a leisurely stroll.
His cheeks turned slightly red, as he looked away. “Not one of my brighter moments, I’ll admit. I’ve never had a Santa lecture me like that in the thousands of years I’ve been working here.”
There was comfortable silence between the two of you for a few moments after that as you thought about what he’d said and wondered why he’d brought it up.
“The next time we talked, you spoke to me for the first time outside of forced, curt introductions. I was ecstatic, I think getting in trouble really broke the ice.”
“I felt bad for getting you in trouble. After all, you only suggested leaving because you noticed I was getting uncomfortable in the workshop. And dad shouting orders wasn’t really helping. I felt like I owed you something,” you kicked the snow, smiling, “you just did it again. Risked your spot, even though dad’s not here, to comfort me.”
He looked at you. “It was worth it then and it’s worth it now. You’re worth it, I mean.”
You nudged him with your shoulder, not knowing what to say. After all, everyone here knows Bernard is proud of his position as Santa’s Head Elf. To hear him say he’d risk it any time for you, is a little surprising.
The shock must’ve been apparent on your face because he suddenly stopped walking. At his side, you stopped yourself from walking forward abruptly not expecting the sudden stop. The stop made you lose your balance and he reached out to steady you, realizing that he should’ve warned you vocally before randomly deciding to stop.
“Are you surprised?”
“To hear you’d prioritize anything over work? Surprised is an understatement. I know I can be a little much, especially when dad’s not around-”
Bernard nudged you with his shoulder. “You’re not a little much. You just need time and patience, the best things in life do.”
Your face heated up at his words, it was hard sometimes to be the way you were. To struggle with speaking to people, to fight the urge to isolate yourself from everyone. You had always assumed that was a burden to everyone around you, even the ones who managed to crack your hard shell.
To hear Bernard speak as if it was just perfectly normal…
“We should go get cocoa! On me!” You broke the weird mood that had temporarily settled over the two of you and before he could say anything, began to pull him along in the direction of the nearest spot for cocoa.
He let you drag him.
Sure, there were a lot of things about you that other people might find annoying but seeing you in moments like this made it all the worthwhile. He rushed to keep up with your pace, wrapping his arm around your shoulders as he caught up with you, no longer needing to be dragged.
You smiled and he felt his heart skip a beat.
He needed to take breaks more often.

Atsumu Miya x Reader
Tumblr media
Atsumu enters the Onigiri Miya restaurant with a bounce on his step and a smile on his face. A smile that he knows, will make anyone in his close proximity melt like chocolate candies in the sun. He knows, of course he knows. But just to make sure, he lowers his sunglasses, looks straight into the eyes of a girl sitting on a table to his right, and winks.
She blushes. The guy she's with fumes.
Mission accomplished.
He can tackle the main quest just fine.
"Who wears sunglasses inside?" Osamu shoots at him as soon as he sees him "Take them off, you idiot"
Not a good start. And certainly not the welcoming Atsumu was expecting, but he won't let this minor inconvenience stop him.
"Did you hear what I just said?" Osamu tries again, while he finishes wiping his hands on a towel. "Oi, Atsumu!"
His only answer is a scorching glare from his older brother as he reaches the back of the restaurant, finally coming to stand in front of the bar where you, working with your back to him, are busy rearranging the bottles.
Hopefully, you didn't heard his brother's quips either, and he can still make a nice entrance for himself.
"Hi, Atsumu. I'm busy today, so I can't talk much"
Or not.
Still without turning around, you wave your hand at him in greeting and keep moving bottles to one side to another. Atsumu leans down against the bar and taps his fingers on the recently polished wood. He thinks it's oak, but he's not really sure. You aren't either. He remembers that time he asked you and you laughed and told him you weren't a tree expert.
Laughter.
That's right. He can catch your attention by making you laugh.
"Oh come on. Can't you spare like, five minutes?" he pouts, his head coming to rest on one of his hands "Is a bottle of whiskey really better to look at than me?"
That makes you pause. And you don't quite laugh, but you're smiling when you finally turn around and face him, and that's a small victory he will take with his arms wide open.
"What kind of drink are you going to want today?"
"Ouch, straight to business, huh?"
"Well" you say, and this time you do laugh. An airy laugh that he remembers very well from that time you were underneath him in bed, and he tickled you and you...
He clears his throat and pushes that train of thought aside, because you're still talking, because he's in public, and because his jeans are very tight.
"... so yeah, it's kind of my work" you finish, and he's vaguely aware that you basically just told him that he should order something, and so he does, and watches intently as you get to work in whatever his mouth decided it was a good choice of beverage, while his brain was busy conjuring images of you in his bed.
"How's the night goin'?"
"Not so bad"
"But you just said ..."
"I'm busy because we had a new shipment today, so I have to rearrange everything around" you explain, shaking your head while you turn the blender on "But this is an onigiri restaurant. Almost no one comes for the bar" then you pause, waiting for the blender to finish before continuing "Well, except for you that is"
"I don't come for the bar, I come for you"
"Are you saying my drinks are shitty, by any chance?"
Ah, your good old friend, deflection. Atsumu knows her quite well.
You finish everything and hand him what appears to be a Margarita, and the look of surprise on his face only makes you laugh more than before, and offer him a complimentary umbrella. He wants to reach for your hand but instead he takes a sip of the cold, fruity liquid, mindful of not poking himself in the eye in front of the girl he's been trying to date for two months.
For two entire months.
"I have to go to the back now and bring another box of supplies, so I guess I'll see you later?"
"You and me, Saturday"
Honestly at this point, he has tried to ask you out so many times that he doesn't even know how to phrase the invitation anymore. And right on cue, you once again roll your eyes at him and shake your head, pieces of your hair falling messily against your neck in a way that seriously puts Atsumu to the test.
"You know the answer to that"
"Yes?"
"No" you deadpan "Atsumu, I'm not going to go out with you"
"But can you please tell me why?" he gets desperate easily, and that's also pretty common. He's been desperate since day one, imagine now that it's been two months of this sweet, sweet torture. "We had great, amazing sex" he says, and waits for your response. When you just stare at him, he feels one of his eyebrows begin to twitch "Right?"
You bite your lip and it's so ridiculously unfair that Atsumu feels that he could scream, throw his baseball cap to the ground and stomp on it, even fight that smug Kageyama if the bastard was around. It's unfair, because he should be the one doing the biting.
He's fine if you do it too, of course. He will let you do anything to him.
"Yes, the sex was great Atsumu"
"Both times"
"It should have been just one night"
"But it was two and both of them were great"
"Yes, they were"
He grunts, straightening his back and pushing back his sunglasses over the bridge of his nose, Margarita long forgotten on the table.
"Then why do you keep saying no? Why are we havin' this conversation when we could be doin' somethin' much more fun like, I don't know, makingl' some good use of the employees only area?"
You sigh, and you look mildly annoyed and kind of tired, but your pink cheeks and you lip still between your lips gives Atsumu enough confidence to try and reach for your arm over the counter.
He grasps the same damn space that you've been putting between the two of you since the last time you were in his bedroom.
"I'm not going to go out with you, Atsumu" you tell him quietly "And there's more to dating than sex, by the way"
"Look, that's not ..."
"Also" you add, quickly turning back to your usual cheery, kind of snarky self and pointing at his face "You really shouldn't be wearing sunglasses indoor"
"That's exactly what I told him before he came to bother you" Osamu's voice says from behind him, and Atsumu can't just turn around and scowl at his brother, because he's busy watching you disappear through the back door, taking with you all his hopes for the night.
...
To be fair, it's not like anyone can blame Atsumu for not knowing what to do. He has never played the role of the heartbroken, unable to move on lover before. And he has a cementery of ghosted lovers to prove his claim. What is he meant to do when the tables turn on him?
A warning would have been nice.
"But I did warn you" Kita reminds him, a couple of days after the first time you two sleep together. Atsumu's complaining about something Kiyoomi said, something that made him so mad because it actually reminded him of you (and he has this epiphany while talking with his former Capitan over the phone about how yes, he hasn't stopped thinking about you at all), and then all just goes down hill from there.
"What do you mean you warned me? No you didn't!"
"Yes, I did" Kita remains unfazed under the damn of emotions Atsumu seems to have become "I told you not to sleep with one of your brother's employees"
"That's not a fuckin' warnin'. That's a challenge!" Atsumu stands up from the sofa to frantically pace around the living room, and settles for glaring at the wall, since Kita is on the other side of the country "A warnin' would have been: Hey! Don't mess around with this girl or she's gonna trap you forever"
"That's..." Kita pauses, and Atsumu can hear him standing up as well "Actually the most romantic thing I've ever heard you say"
...
It was supposed to be just one night. You were cute and funny and he was slightly annoyed at the fact that you didn't immediately gushed about his volleyball career when you two first met, wich only served to fuel his interest on you.
It was supposed to be just one single night of fun, because you had casually bumped into each other in a bar and hey, you were even cuter when you were away from the bar and all those liquor bottles.
It was supposed to be just one night... but then it was two, and now Atsumu's sitting at the back of that same bar, completely mistified by how you dance and laugh and say something to a guy that's too close to you.
He takes an aggresive sip of his beer.
"Are you okay?" Hinata yells at him, trying to make himself heard over the music. When Atsumu doesn't even acknowledges him, the Spiker turns to Adrian for help. "Is he okay?"
Atsumu ignores the exchange, wich gets interrumpted by something Kiyoomi says but it's impossible to hear due to the music and his mask, tightly secured over his lips. But Atsumu doesn't cares. He instead slides closer to the edge of his seat, grabbing onto his beer bottle for dear life.
"Wait, you're spying her?" Hinata yells again, and Atsumu finally looks at him "That's why we're here?"
"Who are you even talkin' about?"
"You'd have to be stupid to not know. Everyone can see that you've been obsessively fixated on the same person since we arrived" Kiyoomi says, even tho Atsumu can only catch some words "Anyway, I'm leaving"
Kiyoomi stands and so does the rest of the group, Atsumu included. But in his case, to move straight to the dance floor and not to the nearest exit. He's vaguely aware of Bokuto telling him something, but he's too busy trying to avoid bumping into other people as he makes a beeline towards you.
You look less surprised than what you should.
"Hey! Are you following me?" you ask, smiling at him. The mascara on your right eye is a bit smudged and your hair is a mess but he still thinks you look so gorgeous he could cry.
Or maybe he's already crying, because you stop dancing and give him a worried look.
"Are you okay?"
"Not really, no"
"Hey love, is this guy bothering you?" the guy you were dancing with suddenly asks, and Atsumu would swell with pride at the simple fact that not only he's taller but also much more handsome, but standing up and practically running to the dance floor has only served to suddenly and painstakingly remind him that he's had twelve beers, so he only manages to feel a slight twinge of drunken happiness.
"We've talked about this, Kai" you say, and he's so grateful for the fact that you to take a step towards him, away from this Kai, that he could, once again, start weeping for real this time. He can faintly hear his brother's voice in the back of his head, telling someone else that Atsumu's actually a very big, blonde crybaby "Don't call me love, or any of that. It makes me uncomfortable"
"Yeah, Kai" Atsumu adds, thinking he's shaking his head to clear his thoughts, when in reality he's moving his entire body, and spilling the beer he dragged with him all over "Don't fuckin' call her that"
"Or what?"
There's a split of a second in wich Atsumu thinks this random guy is actually going to fight him, and he gets into what he feels is an adequate fight stance, never mind the frantic voice of Hinata coming from somewhere behind him, or the fact that his PR team tends to become an actual nightmare every time he does something that can remotely compromise his brand.
Fuck it all. It's been two months and if he has to fight a guy to defend your honor and get you to look at him (actually look at him, like you did that night where he kissed every inch of your body), then so be it.
But then the guy called Kai takes one big step towards him, then a smaller one, and then his face changes from angry to surprised and then to childish glee.
"Oh my god, dude!" he yells, making Atsumu blink out of his stupor "You're Atsumu Miya! From the MSBY Black Jackals!"
"What?" Atsumu asks, and then someone is tugging him from behind, and he sees you moving out of the corner of his eye and tries to reach you, but only manages to grab your jacket, spilling the rest of his beer on the fabric as well.
"I think I'm in love with you, you know?" he slurs, and your eyes widen in surprise. He's not sure if it's because of his confession, or because of the drink all over your jacket, so he tries to salvage the situation by letting go of your clothes and smiling a little "It's alright. I have a lot of money, I can send it to clean for you"
"Here! Sign here!" his newfound fan insists, pulling up his shirt to reveal an MSBY Jackals t-shirt "Oh man. This is amazing! I'm such a big fan! I don't go anywhere without my MSBY Black Jackals t-shirt!"
But it's not like Atsumu would have signed anything anyway. Even if he hadn't passed out at that exact same moment.
...
"You threw up on him" Hinata is explaining to him as he enters his brother's restaurant, sunglasses off this time "Twice. And then you also threw up on the taxi we put you on. The driver called us from your phone and told us. We had to pay him"
"I'll pay you all back" Atsumu says, lingering by the door. He soon has to make some space for a couple to come inside, and so he ends up standing on one side, nervously scanning the room "It's not that big of a deal anyway. This things just happen"
"Sakusa says that you're dead to him"
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever" he sees his brother coming out of the kitchen and clears his throat, debating if talking to him first, but then quickly deciding that it's better if he just stops being such a coward and goes straight to where he knows you are "I'll talk to Omi later"
"He doesn't wants to talk to you"
... Except that you're not there. The bar is empty and the blender is not even where you always put it. He leans over the counter and doesn't see any glasses, and all the bottles on the wall seem to be half empty, and there's not enough of them to give a proper service.
Osamu arrives by his side at the same time that dread starts to slowly consume him.
"She doesn't work here anymore, so you can just stop pesterin' me around here"
"What?"
"Are you deaf? I said she doesn't work here anymore"
Atsumu whips around in a flash to glare at his brother, standing by his side, and very much unimpressed by his reaction.
"Why? What happened?"
Osamu shrugs. He takes a quick look at the bar and then at the towel in his hands "She found another job. It's goin' to be hard without her, not gonna lie. She was very good. And responsable"
"She was the damn best!" Atsumu yells, and after getting a couple of surprised looks, switches to aggresive whispering "Why did you let her go?"
"What did you even wanted me to do? Tell her that she had to stay to keep dealin' with my dumb brother?"
Atsumu feels as if he's letting all the air he has in his body go with the sigh he gives after his brother's question. He's tired and hangover and worst of all, very much kind of in love with a woman he slept with two times. Two months ago.
He racks his brain for answers as his brother turns around to leave him to his missery. The easy answer to his feelings could be the sex, but it's been two months and you haven't been together again.
And somehow, that would be totally fine, if he could at least spent more time with you.
Because you're funny, and you crack the best jokes when you're busy polishing glasses that don't really need to be polished. And you're pretty, and your eyes shine in a way that does serious stuffs to the way he perceives the world.
You're also hot, of course, and he would snicker to himself if the wet smack of his brother's towel against his face wouldn't have him spluttering.
"The hell was that for?" he asks, confused, and now smelling like a wet rice ball.
"Do you want her number?"
...
He would have liked to rehears something, but his life is a chaotic mess since you're around, and he might as well start to deal with that fact. So when you (miraculously) agree to meet and actually invite him to your house, he's so excited and nervous at the same time that he starts talking as soon as you open the door, and doesn't stops even when you move to let him pass and he doesn't bulges, rooted to his place and focused on his unrehearsed apology.
"And I wasn't followin' you! I've just bein' goin' to that bar every weekend for a while now. We met there, so I've been goin' to drink and hang with the guys"
"Because we met there?" you ask, expression unreadable, and Atsumu has to use every amount of strength he has inside him to resist the urge to slam his head against the open door.
"Yes but also because it's a nice bar. I wasn't goin' there only because it's the place where we..." he tries to sigh and take some air at the same time, so he only manages to get himself in a coughing fit "Look" he speaks again, now teary eyed and with a sore throat "I'm really sorry, alright? I'll get out of your hair and just leave you alone. I just... well... you don't have to quit your job"
At that you laugh, and you start small but suddenly you're laughing out loud and Atsumu thinks that you would probably bent down holding your stomach and cackling like a mad woman if you hadn't caught sight of his horrified and confused look.
"I didn't quit Onigiri's Miya because of you, Atsumu" you say once you're calmer, but still having to wipe some wetness around your eyes "I've been saving money to open my own coffee shop for a while, and now I can finally do it. I want to be a barista, not a bartender"
Oh.
Oh well, that's nice. At least he didn't drive you out of your own job. That's a half win.
"That's... great for you"
"It's not a millionaire contract that would allow me to clean my jacket of any spilled drink" you teasingly add, wiggling your eyebrows in a way that shouldn't be considered as sexy as Atsumu actually thinks it looks "But it's a start. A small place of my own. A place where I can chase my own dream. Your brother started small as well, and look at him now"
"You know, I actually love coffee" Atsumu says, immediately forgetting his previous words "I drink coffee a lot. I could be like, your first client"
"Oh, really? I thought you were going to get out of my hair"
"Yeah... well..."
You laugh again, and the way you stand up on your tiptoes and leave a kiss on his cheek feels almost surreal.
Because it's been two months of poorly disguised and one sided longing.
Or at least that's what Atsumu thought.
"I wasn't going to date you while working for your brother, you idiot" you tell him, playfully smacking him on the chest "It's bad enough that I slept with you"
"Twice" he feels the need to add, just to say something that makes him feel like this is actually happening, and it's not just his still intoxicated brain playing tricks on him.
"Yeah, twice"
"So you were just..." he starts, has to stop to process everything right and then speak again, a mix of emotions (and beer from the night before) making him a bit light headed "Did you actually liked me back all this time and didn't said anythin'?"
"I'm a professional" you say, trying to look serious, but completely failing "And you also have kind of a reputation. I had to make sure..."
"Who told you that?"
"Osamu" you admit, and take a step back as he takes one forward, finally moving away from the door "And the magazines. Everyone knows you're a heartbreaker"
"Oh, yeah? Well..." Atsumu licks his lips, pausing for a moment to quickly locate what he thinks is the open door to your bedroom. He can carry you there no problem. Then he closes the entrance door with his left foot "I'm gonna show you exactly what I am"
The answer is yours. But you made him wait two months. Maybe this time, he will be the one holding himself back.
(He tells you the next morning)

To be completely honest, Martyn wasn't too excited about the idea of leaving Jimmy alone with their guest overnight. Not after the firecracker of a mer had almost killed him.
Even though Jimmy was normally the one who got the mer they rescued to chill the heck out, they'd never had one as openly aggressive as Firecracker. Sure, they'd had aggressive mer before, but normally they only postured instead of outright attacking them.
But then again, most of the mer they handled were either still injured, or young enough that they trusted Jimmy easily.
Scott had gone to check on them, and Jimmy had insisted on not leaving their guest to wake up alone. From what Scott had explained to him, Martyn could almost understand the mer's reactions.
Apparently he'd thought that Martyn had killed the man he'd dropped while rescuing Firecracker. The red mer had gotten himself attached to the marine rescue workers, which wasn't that surprising. Mer tended to 'pod-bond' with anything that gave them enough attention. They were surprisingly human, that way.
Martyn was at least glad that Lizzie was going to be here soon, so she could check Scott's bites. If her messages were anything to go by, she'd be here around noon tomorrow.
But for now, Martyn needed some sleep.
He woke up with the sun that morning, as was his body's cursed habit. He had too much to check up on to let himself have a lie in, so up Martyn got.
First off, he went to check on Jimmy, who'd spent the night in the pool with their guest. The two of them were still asleep, by what Martyn could see, curled up like he often found Joel and Jimmy whenever the former visited with Lizzie. Hopefully adding a new mer into the mix wouldn't trigger another fight.
Then Martyn had to go make breakfast, and make sure that the guest room was presentable. After that he checked his messages, making sure there weren't any other mer that they'd need to go find.
Thankfully it didn't look like it.
Lizzie sent him a text telling him they were ahead of schedule, and that she and Joel would be there in about two hours.
Welp, time to go get make sure Jimmy and Firecracker were awake. He wanted to make sure he got food into them before Lizzie and Joel got here. Cause heaven knew that Jimmy would forget to eat, and Martyn didn't want to deal with a hangry mer.
When he stepped out to the covered pool, he was almost surprised to hear an actual civil sounding conversation going on. The two mer were talking, the whistles carrying up to Martyn.
He couldn't completely understand it, but most of it seemed to be the new mer telling Jimmy about-- a rock?
Well, Martyn was sure Jimmy would tell him later if it was anything important.
Martyn used his own whistle to get their attention, it was one that Jimmy had taught him. Jim said it meant something like: "Hey, over here!" but it usually ended up making both Scott and Jimmy snicker at him when he used it to get their attention. But hey, it worked better than just yelling at them when they were in the water.
The conversation in mer stopped, and a moment later, Jimmy popped up out of the water.
"Hey Martyn." He grinned, giving a little wave.
"Have you eaten yet today?" Martyn asked, walking over to crouch at the edge of the pool. Jimmy's grin turning sheepish told him everything he needed to know, "I'll bring you two some food. If you can get him to come up and eat it, that is."
"Sounds good." Jimmy nodded, before perking up a bit, "Oh! I got his name, by the way. It's--" Jimmy vocalized a mer name that Martyn couldn't hope to repeat-- "But he says his 'human name' is Tango. That's what his friends at the marine rescue called him, at least."
"Alright. Tango it is, then." Martyn returned the nod, "Oh, and Lizzie said she's on her way. She and Joel will be here in about two hours, if the traffic holds out okay."
Martyn couldn't help but smile at the happy little wiggle Jimmy did when Joel's name came up. It really was a shame they didn't get to hang out more often.
Martyn talked with Jimmy for a little bit longer, apparently Tango had chilled the heck out once he'd gotten some cuddles and spent some time with Jimmy-- which was kinda weird if you asked him but Jim said it was a mer thing and who was Martyn to argue on that front.
Speaking of Tango, the other mer seemed to be watching them from the depths of the pool. He wasn't holding an aggressive stance, it seemed more curious than anything. Maybe spending some time talking to Jimmy was all he needed. Hm.
It wasn't long before Martyn's legs started to hurt from him being crouched for so long, so he stood up and stretched, "Let me go grab some food and I'll be right back, okay?"
"Okay." Jimmy echoed, watching as Martyn walked back inside.
It was practically routine for Martyn to grab a bunch of food for Jimmy and Tango, waving hi to Scott where he was working on his own laptop, updating him on the situation, and walking back out to the pool. It surprised him to see that Jimmy had actually gotten Tango to surface. The mer was staring at him with his red eyes narrowed, fins pinned back in annoyance.
It was moments like these that made Martyn wish he was more fluent in mer. The language barrier was a rough one, that was for sure.
The rest of the day went pretty well, all things considered, at least-- until Lizzie and Joel arrived. Joel was the one to clock Scott's injuries first, wrinkling his nose and opening his mouth to get a better taste of the air.
"Is that-- blood? Which one of you is hurt?" Joel narrowed his eyes at Scott, noticing the bandages on his arm, "Scott what happened?"
"Tango bit me. A couple times, actually." Scott shrugged.
"Tango?" Lizzie asked, tipping her head.
"That's the name of the mer we picked up a couple days ago." Martyn explained. "He's-- kind of an jumpy one, that's for sure."
"Jumpy is one way to put it. The twerp almost murdered Martyn." Scott huffed.
Martyn face-palmed, letting out a sigh. This is just what he didn’t want. They didn’t need any more fights. And if Martyn knew Joel, the next words out of his mouth would be--
"Did he hurt Jimmy too?"
"No. Jimmy is fine. He's out in the pool right--" Martyn didn't have time to even finish his sentence before Joel was throwing off the blanket covering his tail and the T-shirt he'd been wearing, wheeling his chair through the house and over to the back door.
Martyn sighed, running a hand through his hair before he moved to follow. "Lizzie, why don't you check Scott over first, and then come out to look at Tango when you're done?"
It would be bad enough with Joel getting overprotective of Jimmy and himself. If Lizzie was out there while this happened?? Martyn hadn't yet seen what a real fight between two competent adult mer looked like, and he never wanted to.
If nothing else, this would be interesting.

It was now 10 am both Y/n and Rhea never went back to sleep. Everyone was now awake in the house. Dominik decided to make strawberries and cream crepes as it's y/n's favorite breakfast to eat. She didn't feel sick the rest of the morning and because of it being smackdown tonight and it just so happened to be in the city where the couples home was they didn't have to travel far today which made Y/n very happy. All 5 of them were members of Judgement day but the group already knew Y/n wasn't scheduled to be on the show tonight so she called Hunter (triple H for those who don't know) and let him know she wouldn't be in the building as she didn't feel good. The others however all had either fights or promos to do so Rhea took the lead and called in reinforcement. Who was the reinforcement you may ask well it was three of Y/n's best friends in wwe who they knew weren't scheduled to be on tonight. They were Becky, Seth and Liv. All people who either helped train her or had been by her side dating back to her NTX days especially Becky and Liv they were her best friends and Seth decided to come with Becky to come help cheer Y/n up. "So how exactly did you feel last nigh" Liv asked curious as she had a cousin who was a nurse so she knew a bit about health and medical stuff. "Well it was kinda just out of the blue I woke up and felt super sick and like throwing up" Y/n said "Ok well have you felt like that at all the rest of the day" Becky now asked as the wheels in her brain started turning. Y/n replied "Nope I've actually felt fine the rest of the day just a but restless and sleep and haven't been tired since I woke up" "ok and remind me what time this was again" Seth now said now believing he was thinking the same as his wife. "Ok I get you guys are trying to help but what's with all the questions" Y/n asked slightly agitated now with all the questions. Becky replied "Well what's your description sounds like morning sickness which is common in pregnancy" "That's exactly what I was starting to think" Liv and Seth said at the same time. Seth chimed in again "I remember Becky struggled with that a decent amount when she was pregnant with Roux"." Wait so you guys think I'm pregnant " Y/n said in a shocked tone "Well I'm not saying you 100% are but it's possible especially if you guys have been having unprotected sex especially recently" Becky explained. Silence filled the room Liv was the one to break it "Do you have any tests here or do you need to buy one or two" "Two would be more ideal because it's better to do two than one I remember my first test was negative then I took another it was positive I went to the doctors later that day and turns out I was pregnant" Becky said. "I can go drive to a store real quick and pick up a two pack if you don't have any" Seth offered. "Well this was never expected this early so we don't have any so if you wouldn't mind running to grab some I would appreciate it" Y/n said in a hushed tone. "Ya I'll go run right now" and with that Seth left the three girls alone while he went to go buy some pregnant tests.
That's all for part 2 I hope you guys enjoyed and part 3 will be out soon beyyyy
