I`m firmly in the camp 'all Spards need hugs and therapy', sadly though, there Might be hugs for them, but I cannot imagine any one of them going to actual therapy. On the side of healing though

One of the fascinating scenarios to me is how the twins have to help each other overcome their issues. Obviously, Vergil has been in literal Hell for half of his life, so he will need time and help to adjust, and the only person he can trust with that is Dante. The only people the twins truly connected to in their lives were each other, and after many years that connection became painful and rotten, but never truly faded. So, after they yeel, and fight, yell some more and joke around later, they can mend that.

The truly hard part will come after that. Once they return from Hell, Vergil is going to have to try to forge a new relationship for the first time in a very long time. Since his main experience with relationships with other people is his rivalry with Dante, and paired with the fact that Nero is just as impulsive and hotheaded as Vergil, the process is going to be rough, but I am sure they will figure it out, because both really want this connection to work.

Dante, on the other hand, I believe will have even worse time adjusting to having his family be present in his life. His painful history with Vergil have run him into the ground over the years, and each time Dante tried to make a new connection to anyone - the person eventually left him. Lady seems to be a trigger-twitchy associate, Trish left to be her own person and because watching Dante falling into depsair has been hard for her, looks like Dante and Lucia have not seen each other after their job, Patty left to live with her mother, and Morrison even commented Dante was upset after that. And Nero. Nero falls right into the 'extremely painful family history' category, and while Dante clearly wanted to be present for his nephew, he also could not bear doing it for long, which resulted in their distant partnership in (family) business and occasional gifts, like the neon sign.

While Vergil is, well, rusty (extremely understating) with his social skills and never used his opportunities to make meaningful connections to people around him. Dante has tried and tried over the years, and all of them kind of failed. Yes, Dante had gathered people around him and they do hold on to each other (Patty evidently calls him, plus he, Nero and the women share work sometimes), he cannot truly commit to having a meaningful relationship with either of these poeple because the most important connection he ever had, with his twin, has been a constant pain the entire time, so he closes himself off to not let it bother other people and not add any more burden for himself.

When Dante and Vergil fix their relationship, Vergil just might become the person to help Dante overcome his insecurity and constant avoidance, first of all by becoming a proper uncle to Nero. I don`t think any other person could help Dante get out of the shell he had been forced to create for himself, and there is very little motivation for him to work on these issues as important as Nero. And while Nero is Dante's motivation, Vergil will be his main support during this process. Because if Vergil has been able to have a healthy relationship with Nero, Dante can have one too surely. Because Vergil is the most real, strongest and most painful connection Dante has ever had to anyone, and he is the only person Dante can trust with these issues. Their bond was forged through hellfire, and it can help them both come out of it.

Nero truly is the gift to twins, and he might be the solution to them overcoming their trauma and having genuine, healthy and meaningful connections with other people.

I read I can't help but fall in love and I was crying the whole time, I had to dry my tears to be able to continue reading, that's why I avoided reading angst, I'm weak for those things and I can't help crying but I always read it anyway 🥲

But I really loved it, I really like how you write Addams reader, you make it look so poetic and charming, honestly i would sob in Jason's place too 😂 how do you do it? I mean, where do you get inspiration to write things like that?

Anyway, getting back to it, the first part on the other hand... where they were talking about the tears and everything, it really made me anxious and I liked how they interact like that, I would love to see them nsfw at some point <3

Lately I've been trying to find like. ANY book about frev in my native language or ones that were translated to it (since my english and french are not good enough to read in these languages) sooo...

We have:

• Place of a greater safety (already read, thats a nice fic about Desmoulins, but you must be a fool if you take almost anything in this book seriously lmao. I prefer to think what that's just a really big rpf from Ao3 published)

• A bunch of books written by a same author in the 80s (read one about SJ and thats not even a nice fic, this crap is unreadable😭) (and all of the books are from the 80s too— The one I was reading was literally falling apart in my hands)

• "FrEnCh ReVoLuTiOn In FiVe MiNuTeS"

• Translation of a french plays about Max and Danton (thats. At least sounds like _something_ but I haven't read it yet so idk.) (Also this book was pubished in the 80s too?????)

Sorry for much inactivity, I had some mental health issues to attend and I needed a break yesterday after fam-fam showed disapproval of me reading Harry Potter :]

I am ok now, not bad not good but with a headcannon that I'm sure it would be a..... damn I don't know what to rhyme with headcannon-

Anyways this finally is not related to Mortimer and Riley, so horaaay :D

But it's about the Lord of fhe Stage "Nick Nack!"

Ok, so here we go:

As hostile and childish Nick appears to be, he's actually smarter in other ways that are not associated with the stereotypical things associated with intelligence. He appears to have a greater emotional intelligence and is quick to know his hits to get out of a situation quickly.

Mortimer, not aware of his intelligence, considers him an idiot which has affected Nick's ego and makes him feel overshadowed by the girls

Daisy only assumes Nick wants to get out of a situation quickly, but she treats him mostly like a little kid (I'm working on a headcannon for that, is not that she sees him as a son)

The only person that seems to know Nick's intelligence in Riley and Nick assumes that she considers him an idiot based on her hostile behavior (Which is another headcannon exploring Riley natural response of distrust but that goes into the cult theory) Riley respects Nick's intelligence and believes if he could use his intelligence for good instead his ambition, he could greater things.

(I am not touching the crush thing. It is there, I am acknowledging it but I am not gonna touch it.) Throughout those 30 years, Nick had found small things that make it worth staying with Mortimer, one is the Shakespearean plays he found (Favorite being Romeo and Juliet ) and other films involving great heroes that Nick sees himself as. He has also genuinely grown to respect Riley as a person and does believes she is more than ready to fend for her own without Mortimer from keeping her from extending her wings and fly.

He despises Mortimer but still holds some respect him as a leader. He is greatly afraid of him, but he doesn't wish harm for him and had dreams of escaping away and persue his dreams of performing on the stage in the host world

Marks and Spencers bakery cookies

I've found finding biscuits and sweet snacks especially hard on my new diet but these are my number 1, my partner didn't believe they were vegan😄. Only downside is they sell out quickly so are quite a rare find and cannot stock up due to the use by dates... but still❤️ Thank me (& M&S) later!

2. Marks and Spencer chocolate brownies

M&S to the rescue again! These are great and even better heated up in the microwave with find number 3 below. My auntie buys me these from her local M&S and I can't ever find them in mine so think some stores don't stock always them sadly.

3. Phish food Ice cream

HORAAAY I can have Ben and Jerry's again!!! 😍😍🙏 Tastes very similar from what I can remember...although less chocolate fish🐟 (phish)😔 - maybe mine was just a sad tub! I'll get over it...Still won't buy it full price like the non dairy version though (luckily its on offer quite a bit - this one was found in sainsburys but i think it's in most supermarkets). The cookie dough one is also pretty good - I'm just a chocoholic 🍫

4. Judes salted caramel ice cream

Jude, whoever you are, I love you 😍❤️ These are soooo good - better than most normal dairy ice cream I have had (bold claim) and they are mini so feels like you're being less piggy. Magnum do a similar salted caramel vegan option which is nice but in my opinion no comparison to Judes.

5. The mighty Greggs Yum Yum

Milk free and glorious. Many other supermarket ones have milk in. Greggs was my favourite highstreet destination prior to my new diet (trust me, i have the full greggs outfit, sliders & all!) and it has stayed strong and true with lots of dairy free options 🙏.

(and of course the famous vegan sausage roll... I must admit though I'd rather have slight face pain and take a dose of antihistamines for the normal sausage roll - only thing I still cheat with...it just can't be beaten😍).

6. Greggs Doughnuts

All hail the greggs Doughnuts 😍🍩 These are the only 3 (simply glazed, pink sugar strand and jam) that i think are milk free but that's plenty enough options (compared to most supermarkets where I end up looking very dissapointed at the allergen info). I ❤️ doughnuts, basically a female Homer Simpson.

7. Vegan pains au chocolat

These are a great sweet vegan breakfast option (especially when put in the air fryer for a minute or 2). These are the two brands I have found so far- first one found in sainsburys and the second found in waitrose (stocked up on a ocado order). Delish👌

8. Belvita breakfast bars

I have these for breakfast on my London commute every morning. Dairy free, low in fat (unlike rest of this post) and high in the old fibre💩! I personally love them (strawberry🍓 not the apricot ones) and stock up when they are on offer (most supermarkets) which happens fairly often for £1.75 for 6 👌.

9. Marks & Spencer double chocolate cookies 🍪

More M&S cookies??? Yes, these are very good but would always lose in a competition with number 1 ^ from the bakery section. However the perk of these are you can stock up on them with the longer shelf life and I've found they are better than a lot of other supermarket (and wicked) cookies. 🍪

10. Lastly CHEESE🧀. Cathedral City is in the lead for me.

I actually like this one enough to put on crackers so its made it onto the snack blog post🙀🧀. There is quite a lot of bad vegan cheese out there (especially from the opinion of a dairy cheese lover like me) but maybe my taste buds have finally accepted it will never be perfect...but for me, this is close enough (for now! - keep going cheese makers!!). Amazing grated on toast (another air fryer job) & topped with worcester sauce 😍
