How long do horse hairs get cause when they shave them it looks like a lot but when you look at a horse it looks almost like they have no body hair at all…?

idk if anyone here is familiar with WolfQuest but modern!TURN au where instead of WolfQuest there’s a game called HorseQuest and Keturah plays it and shows it to Ben one day when he’s babysitting her which leads to Ben playing it because he’s a giant horse nerd and Caleb got him the game as a joke but anyway in multiplayer mode Ben makes a friend and it gets to where they’re going to meet up* and he gets to the meeting and his online friend is actually Hewlett and the thing is up until this point they’ve only grudgingly tolerated each other irl but now they have to deal with the fact that this entire time they’ve been having fun pony adventures together

*hopefully goes without saying that the multiplayer server Ben’s on is like, for grownup HorseQuest players, he’s not setting up a meeting with anyone he has any reason to think might be a kid )

where do you find your horses like horsequest or any people you recommend?

Hey, so far I've bought all of my horses from people I know or know of! But yes horsequest is a good one I find it's better for higher price brackets! Facebook is actually really good for finding horses. Especially Showjumper's that are abroad - I just wouldn't buy without getting a vetting and probs viewing them first ☺️

Bad News

So, I went to see this arab yearling today. He was very responsive and had nice conformation. Could defiantly use some quality time and spook-training. The only bad thing was his pasterns were a bit weak. Bad news is my mom is unbelievably stubborn and says that I am to ‘inexperienced’ to own a yearling. Does 10 years seem to inexperienced? Does the fact that I already own a 10 month pony who has good manners and a ton of groundwork because of me seem inexperienced? Not to mention that I am paying for this animal myself! Sorry about the mom hate, but I could use some advise on what to do. I really want this horse and the owners will be taking him to an auction if I don’t buy him before winter.

Also I wasn’t able to take pictures because my mom had my phone with her.

Regarding your hunt for the model horses, Model Horse Sales Pages might help. It is the best known secondhand model horse selling/buying/trading website. I ran a search for "Ertl" and didn't see the ones you linked, but maybe you know details that would get you a better search. It is also free to post ads so placing a wanted ad might be good.
