Don't get me wrong, I completely understand why some lesbians are offended by the word "dyke", and I'm not lesbian myself so I can't really speak for the whole "reclaiming of slurs" for this particular one, but I was raised by a man who used the word to refer to the tool most people now call by its proper name diagonal cutters. Long before I even knew it was possible for girls to like other girls in that way. I still refer to the tool as "Dykes" in my head, it's that ingrained in me. Knowing this, I'm sure you can understand my confusion when I see homophobic posts online that are using the slang term, because my initial reaction is always "What do you have againsts dykes? They're useful!" Even so, I still try to not say the word out loud around people who I know will take offense, even if I'm referring to a physical object and not a lesbian.

#I did work with a very butch lesbian who absolutely owned the term #her name was Erica and she was a feisty latina #I hope she's doing well #assassin rambles #how many people will I piss off today?

#i know i haven't watched it yet and after everything i'm not necessarily planning on it but #i'm so disappointed in how the fabulous turned out for Minho #based on what i've gathered from people who have seen it #the plot is lacking and Minho's character is the least developed #so underdeveloped in fact that side characters have more definition #and no wonder with how many cut scenes have been posted by netflixkr #and on top of all that #having several scenes of Minho being shirtless that weren't in the original script where he himself said that he was uncomfortable filming #so did they just sign him and intend to use his name; face; and body as marketing tools? did they ever intend to do his character justice?#it sucks that he was disappointed enough to mention it #twice; if you include the story he posted the other day with the 'hmm...' caption #no wonder Kibum asked who the director was if i saw my bestie's hard work getting disregarded like that there would be war #i hope he gets better acting opportunities in the future #i just saw that another deleted scene got dropped on twt earlier today and i just finished scrolling through the qrts so #that's what this is all about lol #but god it pisses me off so much i hate it when he gets objectified and used because of his looks #like just knowing his process and why he chooses the roles he does #you just know he was excited about exploring this character and telling his story #only for it to get deleted #yeah idk if i should watch it i'll just be angry l m a o

Im trying really hard not to be a cunt abt it (and kinda failing so I might be off tumblr the rest of the day) cause Im sure the anons and those boundary accounts are well meaning individuals who Think theyre fostering a respectful community, but in reality it leads to a culture of shame and harassment and tries to make fan spaces front and center for the creators, rather than the fans. I think putting creators on the spot and forcing them to answer “boundary” questions through donos they feel obligated to respond to is particularly rude and uncomfortable, especially when its something that doesnt even enter their peripheries, that now theyre suddenly aware of. tag your stuff, block tags you dont wanna see, let others do what makes them happy. soft tagged kissy art on tumblr dot com isnt gonna ruin this 29 year old mans life even if he finds it “a bit weird”

honestly i am pretty concerned about how easily irritated i get like no one else i've ever met has such severe mood swings.... literally sometimes just hearing people being a little bit noisy can set me off and it's not like I do anything about it (besides my severe rbf) but like. I WANT to be nice friendly person and i feel like I used to be? Like in elementary school

#i was so pissed in class today bc my prof played some xmas music after a discussion abt it and i felt like she was spending too much time #not focusing on the class materials... and like i look around the room and realize IM the only person feeling this way.....#but my mood swings have always been pretty bad my siblings used to get so mad at me bc 1 insensitive or annoying comment #from them could totally shut me down or i would randomly start crying #and like i dont really have many friends bc so many people just bother me for basically bo valid reason #i get that from my mom though she loces that im such a bitch thats how we bond #even with people im dating ive never been in like a real actual relationship bc im SO picky and one minor thing could totally turn me off #most of the time i dont even really like being around people. my best friend in the world lives 4 hours away and we text maybe a few times #a week. if that #using the tags as therapy. for awhile i was pretty convinced i had like a personality disorder or like bpd bc i was sitting in intro to #psych like. hmm why do i have all of these symptoms. but i hated therapy so much even tho i only went to one session. and im not into self #diagnosing so
