I’ve been thinking a lot about rejection lately because I’m teaching some amazingly brilliant writers at the Writing Barn who haven’t been published yet. And they are talent. Their stories should be published.

And I found one of my earliest blog posts when I wrote about a story getting rejected. It’s below.

Relationships are supposed to be filled with love, kindness and compassion. You're supposed to compliment each others lives in a positive way that organically brings your best attributes to light.

So what happens when this person you love, breaks your heart? I have been through my fair share of heart breaks which have come from all walks of life - men, friends, even family and I can assure you it never gets any easier but I wrote this letter to someone who might be experiencing it for the first time.
